Recently, with the development of Internet technologies and propagation of smart devices, use of microblogs such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram has been rapidly increasing. Many users check for new information on microblogs because the content on their timelines is continually updating. Therefore, clustering algorithms are necessary to arrange the content of microblogs by grouping them for a user who wants to get the newest information. However, microblogs have word limits, and it has there is not enough information to analyze for content clustering. In this paper, we propose a semantic-based K-means clustering algorithm that not only measures the similarity between the data represented as a vector space model, but also measures the semantic similarity between the data by exploiting the TagCluster for clustering. Through the experimental results on the RepLab2013 Twitter dataset, we show the effectiveness of the semantic-based K-means clustering algorithm.

Component-based software development (CBD) is a methodology that has been embraced by the software industry to accelerate development, save costs and timelines, minimize testing requirements, and boost quality and output. Compared to the conventional software development approach, this led to the system's development being completed more quickly. By choosing components, identifying systems, and evaluating those systems, CBSE contributes significantly to the software development process. The objective of CBSE is to codify and standardize all disciplines that support CBD-related operations. Analysis of the comparison between component-based and scripting technologies reveals that, in terms of qualitative performance, component-based technologies scale more effectively. Further study and application of CBSE are directly related to the CBD approach's success. This paper explores the introductory concepts and comparative analysis related to component-based software engineering which have been around for a while, but proper adaption of CBSE are still lacking issues are also focused.

Developers often use cross-platform frameworks to create mobile apps that can run on multiple platforms with minimal code changes. However, these frameworks may not suit all the needs of a specific app, so developers may also use native APIs to add platform-specific features. This method eventually dilutes the advantages of cross-platform development methodology that aims to reduce development costs and time, and often leads to a decision to return back to the original native mobile development methodology. In this study, we explore a different approach: combining different cross-platform tools to develop a storybook mobile app that meets various requirements. We have demonstrated that integrating two cross-platform solutions can be used reliably to develop complex mobile applications. However, we also report that this approach can introduce unforeseen issues such as sandbox redundancy, unexpected functional burdens, and redundant permission requests. Despite these challenges, we believe that combining two cross-platform solutions can be applied to a variety of functional and performance requirements, enabling the development of more sophisticated mobile applications at lower costs and with shorter development timelines than traditional mobile app development methodologies.

본 논문에서는 다국어 뉴스에 대해서 '시간' 요소와 '언어 공간' 요소를 사건 어휘의 가중치 계산에 반영하는 다국어 사건 연결 탐색하는 방법을 제안한다. 시간의 흐름과 다국어 공간상에서 어휘의 분포 특성을 어휘의 가중치로 반영하여 사건 중심 어휘에 변별력을 줌으로써 같은 사건을 다루는 문서를 탐색하도록 한다. 시간상에서 어휘가중치는 전체 시간의 모든 문서집합에서의 어휘 분포와 특정 시간의 문서집합에서의 어휘 분포를 비교함으로써 계산하고, 그 특정 시간의 어휘의 가중치로 표현한다. 두 개의 언어는 하나의 언어에서보다 더 많은 정보를 줄 수 있기 때문에, 각 언어공간에서 어휘의 중요도를 측정하고, 다국어 처리에서 다른 언어 공간에서의 정보를 참조함으로써 언어 공간에서의 참조 역할을 하도록 한다. 본 논문의 실험에서는 같은 기간의 한국어와 일본어 신문기사에 대해서 사건 연결 탐색 성능을 평가하였다. 일반적인 가중치 기법인 tfidf 가중치 기법과의 비교 평가에서, 제안 방법이 단일언어 문서쌍에 대한 사건 연결 탐색은 $14.3{\%}$, 다국어 문서쌍에 대한 사건 연결 탐색에서는 $16.7{\%}$의 성능 향상을 보였다. 제안한 가중치 요소에 대한 유효성을 검증하기 위해, 공간 밀집도를 측정하였는데, 같은 사건을 나타내는 문서들의 그룹에서는 높은 밀집도를 나타냈고, 서로 다른 사건을 나타내는 문서들의 그룹에서는 낮은 밀집도를 나타냈다. 이 결과를 통해서 시간과 공간 요소를 반영한 사건 어휘 가중치 방법이 단일언어 사건 연결 탐색뿐만 아니라 다국어 사건 연결 탐색에 효과적이라고 볼 수 있다.

The amount of content on social media platforms such as Twitter is expanding rapidly. Simultaneously, the lack of patient information seriously hinders the diagnosis and treatment of rare/intractable diseases. However, these patient communities are especially active on social media. Data from social media could serve as a source of patient-centric knowledge for these diseases complementary to the information collected in clinical settings and patient registries, and may also have potential for research use. To explore this question, we attempted to extract patient-centric knowledge from social media as a task for the 3-day Biomedical Linked Annotation Hackathon 6 (BLAH6). We selected amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and multiple sclerosis as use cases of rare and intractable diseases, respectively, and we extracted patient histories related to these health conditions from Twitter. Four diagnosed patients for each disease were selected. From the user timelines of these eight patients, we extracted tweets that might be related to health conditions. Based on our experiment, we show that our approach has considerable potential, although we identified problems that should be addressed in future attempts to mine information about rare/intractable diseases from Twitter.

본 연구는 여러 정보환경 또는 정보 디자인 유형 중에서 짧은 정보 노출 시간에 비해 정보 전달력이 강해야 하는 정보유형의 인지력을 높이는 방법을 모색하기 위해 진행되었다. 이와 같은 정보를 본 연구에서는 '고기능성 정보(High-Functional Information)'라고 정의하고, 연구를 위해 7개 항공기에서 사용되고 있는 Safety Information을 중심으로, 고기능성 정보의 주요 속성과 그에 따른 거시적 정보 표현 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 본 연구는 상황, 순서, 흐름, 구조 표현으로서의 정보디자인인 Safety Information을 기능변수에 대한 활용이 중요한 '고기능성 정보'라고 정의하고, 이에 대한 주요 정보 속성을 Accessibility, Errorless, Understandable, Timeliness로 제시하였다. 고기능성 정보는 맥락에 따라, 시각적 재현 측면에서 Understandable, Accessibility 속성이 충족되어야 하며, 사용자 조작 측면에서는 Errorless, Timeliness 속성이 충족되어야 한다. 각 측면에서의 거시적 표현 방법으로써, 시각적 재현 측면에서 독특 속성을 기반으로 한 속성이론, 도상화를 통한 "현실감지" 최대화, 정보 주도성(Proactivity), 잉여정보와 노이즈 정보의 최소화를 제시하였으며, 사용자 조작측면에서 맥락효과, 일차적 독특성을 중심으로 한 기억부호화, 이중부호화 및 표현 방법 등을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서의 개괄적인 연구 내용을 토대로 앞으로 정보환경 또는 디자인 유형과 속성에 따른 정보 표현방법에 관한 연구가 추진될 예정이다.

To date, there have been no reports of patients showing a Tessier number 7 cleft with unilateral complete cleft lip and palate. Furthermore, no studies have established the sequence, plan, or timing of surgical methods for treating patients presenting the above anomalies simultaneously. We report a case of a Tessier number 7 cleft with unilateral complete cleft lip and palate. Two months after birth, lip adhesion was performed on the unilateral complete cleft lip and total excision was performed on the skin tag. At 4 months of age, Tessier number 7 cleft was corrected. At 6 months of age, surgery involving two small triangular flaps was performed on the unilateral incomplete cleft lip after performing lip adhesion. At 13 months of age, two-flap palatoplasty with a vomer flap was performed on the complete cleft palate. At 6 years of age, open rhinoplasty was performed on the unilateral cleft lip nose deformity. At 9 years of age, bone grafting was performed for the alveolar cleft. At follow-up appointments up to 13 years of age, there were no major complications. Here, we present this patient, surgical procedures and timelines, and show our results demonstrating good postoperative outcomes.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present policy implications by analyzing the residential environment in North Korea under the Kim Jong-un regime. Research design, data, and methodology: Residential environment analysis was reviewed by dividing it into physical, socio-cultural, economic, environmental, and policy aspects. Results: Pyongyang are considerably superior due to it being the residence of the country's leadership and middle class. Secondly, there is a concerning problem with the provision of substandard housing. Construction materials are in short supply, and unreasonable timelines often lead to uninhabitable houses, signaling a need for assistance in housing construction. Thirdly, there is a severe lack of essential residential infrastructure, such as reliable electricity and clean water supply, which significantly impacts the quality of life. Lastly, due to the country's economic hardships, basic housing rights are not guaranteed, leading to deplorable living conditions for many North Koreans. The report suggests that these issues should be addressed through international aid to guarantee the basic human rights of North Koreans. Conclusions: In North Korea, the poor living environment deteriorates the health and quality of life of citizens and adversely affects social and economic development. Therefore, international support and cooperation to improve the living environment of North Koreans is important.

The emergence of programs like Midjourney, particularly known for its text-to-image capability, has significantly impacted design and creative industries. Midjourney continually updates its database and algorithms to enhance user experience, with a focus on character consistency. This paper's examination of the latest V6 version of Midjourney reveals notable advancements in its characteristics and design principles, especially in the realm of character generation. By comparing V6 with its predecessors, this study underscores the significant strides made in ensuring consistent character portrayal across different plots and timelines.Such improvements in AI-driven character consistency are pivotal for storytelling. They ensure coherent and reliable character representation, which is essential for narrative clarity, emotional resonance, and overall effectiveness. This coherence supports a more immersive and engaging storytelling experience, fostering deeper audience connection and enhancing creative expression.The findings of this study encourage further exploration of Midjourney's capabilities for artistic innovation. By leveraging its advanced character consistency, creators can push the boundaries of storytelling, leading to new and exciting developments in the fusion of technology and art.

본 논문에서는 스마트폰 상에서 프로젝트 관리를 위한 소셜 네트워킹 서비스 기반의 일정 통지 및 이슈추적 시스템을 새롭게 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 시스템은 서버 시스템과 클라이언트 시스템으로 나뉜다. 서버 시스템은 기존의 소셜 네트워킹 서비스를 적극적으로 활용하여 참여자에게 프로젝트 작업의 데드라인에 대한 통지와 이슈 추적을 가능하게 한다. 스마트폰 상에서 개발된 클라이언트 시스템은 프로젝트 참여자에게 간트 차트를 디스플레이 해 주고, 자신의 일정을 입력 내지 수정할 수 있도록 한다. 제안된 시스템은 기존의 스마트폰이 가지고 있는 이동성과 소셜 네트워킹 서비스가 가지는 연결성을 적극적으로 활용하여, 프로젝트 개발에서의 일정 통지 및 이슈추적에 이용하며, 이를 통해 소셜 네트워킹 서비스의 새로운 용용 가능성을 제시한다.
