  • 동물의 숲 시리즈 신작 게임으로 많은 인기를 모은 '모여봐요 동물의 숲'은 섬을 꾸려나가는 시뮬레이션 게임으로 다른 플레이어들과 교류가 가능한 온라인과 콘솔 설정을 통해 원하는 시간대로 플레이 가능한 타임 슬립이 가능하다는 특징이 있다. 본 논문에서는 모여봐요 동물의 숲 플레이어를 대상으로 이와 같은 온라인 게임에서 타임 슬립의 영향에 대한 인식을 조사하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 부정적인 영향을 최소화할 방법을 제시한다.

A robust indirect vector control for the rotor time constant variation of induction motors (유도전동기 회전자 시정수 변동에 강인한 간접 벡터제어)

  • This paper presents the effects of rotor time constant variation and the on-line tuning algorithm of the rotor time constant. If the value of the rotor time constant is set incorrectly, the IFOC (Indirect Field Oriented Control)scheme exhibits deteriorated performance according to the wrong slip command. These variation effects of the rotor time constant are caused by the slip calculator where it is known that the rotor time constant play an important role in the aligned rotor flux. Using the two torque angles (stationary torque angle, rotating torque angle), the variation of the rotor time constant is identified, and the rotor time constant of the controller is tuned to the proper value of the machine. As the result, with the proposed algorithm, the dynamics of the deteriorated IFOC system, where the rotor time constant is varied, is improved. For the purpose of the validity of this proposed algorithm, the computer simulations and the experiments have been performed and the explanation of the results is presented. The Development of Outsole for Wet Traction Enhancement (습윤 접지력 향상을 위한 안전화 겉창 개발 연구)

  • Many occupational workers or professionals have to walk on the various floors for a long period of time. The objective of this study was to develop the safety shoes with increased traction through the material selection. In order to fulfill our objective, first, two kinds of filler were selected to compare the wear mechanism at outsole surface. The developed rubber materials were tested with two kinds of portable slip meters. The sample safety shoes with developed rubber materials were also tested with subject in the laboratory. During walking, the safety shoes were naturally abraded with counter surface. The coefficient of friction(COF) was gradually decreased with number of steps to 30,000, while the COF was abruptly increased from 30,000 to 40,000. The experimental results showed that COF tested with silica rubber was at least 10% higher than that with carbon black rubber in wet or detergent condition. It has been well recognized that filler properties play a important role in wet traction in the tire industry. However it has been unclear that filler properties would be decisive factor in safety shoes. Our study shows that silica exhibits a higher slip resistance than carbon black without reference to wear states in wet or detergent condition. So, this results will provide guides for outsole compounders to develop new products and improve product performance.

Design Idea of Suspension for Traction Wheel of Novel High Speed Towing Carriage (초고속선 실험을 위한 신형식 예인전차의 현가장치 설계시안)

  • In the conventional towing tank, the ordinary towing carriage has a speed barrier which caused not only by the limitation of the length of towing tank but also the limitation of acceleration. Therefore the length of the towing tank should be decided carefully from the planning stage of the towing tank construction. Consequently the acceleration of the towing carriage should be taken less than 0.06g practically to avoid the slip of the wheel on rail. Due to the increasing demand of the high speed experiments on the development of special novel ship, the requirement of the high speed towing carriage is continuously increased recently. When the minimum measuring time of the towing experiment is prescribed as five seconds, the carriage should be accelerated with higher than 0.12 g to get the speed of 18 m/sec even in the towing tank having a length of 400m in length approximately. This means that the requirement of acceleration is bigger than twice of the ordinary practices of carriage acceleration. In such a condition the exerted total power of motor could not converted to traction force for the acceleration of the carriage without slip. To over come these difficulties a pair of horizontal traction wheels are reinforced to each of the ordinary vertical carrier wheel and appropriate suspension system has been devised for the towing tank of super high speed operation. It is believed that the design of novel suspension system adaptable for the high speed acceleration of towing carriage will play a important role as a reference for the remodeling of the towing tank for high speed experiment.

  • The precious-meta] mineralization of epithermal type in the Korean Peninsula, which is spread over a broader range of ca. 110 to 60 Ma with a major population between 90 and 70 Ma, mainly occurred along the NE-trending major strike-slip fault systems (i.e., the Gongju and Gwangju ones) that commonly include volcano-tectonic depressions and calderas. The occurrence of epithermal mineralization during Late Cretaceous clearly indicates that the geologic setting of the Korean Peninsula changed to the favorable depth of ore formation with very shallow-crustal environments (〈1.0 kb) accompanied with gold-silver (-base-meta]) mineralization. Epithermal gold-silver deposits in Korea are primarily distinguished as sediment-dominant and volcanic-dominant basins by using criteria of varying alteration, ore and gangue mineralogy deposited by the interaction of different ore-forming fluids with host rocks and meteoric waters. These differences between the central and southern portions are causally linked to the tectonic evolution of the Peninsula during the Cretaceous time. In the Early Cretaceous, the sinistral strike-slip movements due to the oblique subduction of the Izanagi Plate resulted in the Gongju and Gwangju fault systems in the central portion of the Korean Peninsula, which was accompanied with a number of sediment-dominant basins formed along these faults. During the Late Cretaceous, the mode of convergence of the Izanagi Plate changed to northwesteward so that orthogonal convergence occurred with a calc-alkaline volcanism. As results, volcanic-dominant basins were developed in the southern portion of the Peninsula, accompanied with volcano-tectonic depressions and caldera-related fractures. The magmatism and related fractures during Late Cretaceous may play an important role in the formation of geothermal systems. Thus, such fault zones may be favorable environments for veining emplacement that is closely related to the precious-metal mineralization of epithermal type in the Korean Peninsula.

Understanding of the Duplex Thrust System - Application to the Yeongwol Thrust System, Taebaeksan Zone, Okcheon Belt (듀플렉스트러스트시스템의이해 - 옥천대태백산지역영월트러스트시스템에의 적용)

  • The duplex system has been considered as an important slip-transfer mechanism to evaluate the evolution of orogenic belts. Duplexes are generally found in the hinterland portion of fold-thrust belts and accommodate large amounts of total shortening. Thus, understanding its geometric and kinematic evolution can give information to evaluate the evolution of the entire orogenic belt. Duplexes are recognized as closed-loop thrust traces on map view, indicating higher connectivity than imbricate fans. As originally defined, a duplex is an array of thrust horses which are surrounded by thrust faults including the floor and roof thrusts, and imbricate faults between them. Duplexes can accommodate regional layer-parallel shortening and transfer slip from a floor thrust to a roof thrust. However, an imbricate fault is not the only mean for layer-parallel shortening (LPS) and displacement transfer within duplexes. LPS cleavages and detachment folds can also play the same role. From this aspect, a duplex can be divided into three types; 1) fault duplex, 2) cleavage duplex and 3) fold duplex. Fault duplex can further be subdivided into the Boyer-type duplex, which was firstly designed duplex system in the 1980s that widely applied most of the major fold-thrust belts in the world, and connecting splay duplex, which has different time order in the emplacement of horses from those of the Boyer-type. On the contrary, the cleavage and fold duplexes are newly defined types based on some selected examples. In the Korean Peninsula, the Yeongwol area, the western part of the Taebaeksan Zone of the Okcheon Belt, gives an excellent natural laboratory to study the structural geometry and kinematics of the closed-loops by thrust fault traces in terms of a duplex system. In the previous study, the Yeongwol thrust system was interpreted by alternative duplex models; a Boyer-type hinterland-dipping duplex vs. a combination of major imbricate thrusts and their connecting splays. Although the high angled beds and thrusts as well as different stratigraphic packages within the horses of the Yeongwol duplex system may prefer the later complicate model, currently, we cannot choose one simple answer between the models because of the lack of direct field evidence and time information. Therefore, further researches on the structural field investigations and geochronological analyses in the Yeongwol and adjacent areas should be carried out to test the possibility of applying the fold and cleavage duplex models to the Yeongwol thrust system, and it will eventually provide clues to solve the enigma of formation and its evolution of the Okcheon Belt.

Analysis of the Effects of Behavioral Factors on the Seafarers' Career Path (해기직업 경로상의 행동요인 영향 분석)

  • It is difficult to improve maritime safety in the aspect of human elements without seafarers' job satisfaction. Therefore, through the career development for seafarers from their entries into the job to their retirements, longer and more stable seafarers' life on board ship could be achieved together with maritime safety. This study aims at the establishment of seafarers' career path model and the verification of six hypotheses by using the questionnaire data of 2,830 respondents of students, slip officers and shore-based ex-seafarers. The results of analyses of behavior factors on the career path are as follows; first, it is important to improve educational environment and to provide seafarers with detailed information on seafarer's life; second, economic factors such as income-level and etc. do not play a role in promoting motivation of going to sea; third, the guidance to shore jobs at proper time increases seafarers' job satisfaction and induces longer stay at sea; last, it is necessary to simplify the licence system for seafarers, to allow seafarers to acquire higher class certificates, and to work at higher rank on board ships as early as possible.

Geological Structures of the Limesilicates in the Songgang-ri, Cheongsong-gun, Korea (청송군 송강리 석회규산염암류의 지질구조)

  • The Songgang-ri area, Cheongsong-gun, which is located in the Sobaeksan province of Yeongnam Massif near the southwestern boundary of Yeongyang subbasin of Gyeongsang Basin, consists of age unknown metamorphic rocks (banded gneiss, granitic gneiss, limesilicates) and age unknown igneous rock (granite gneiss) which intrudes them. This paper researched the geological structures of the Songgang-ri area from the geometric and kinematic features and the developing sequence of multi-deformed rock structures in the geological outcrops exposed about 170 m along the riverside of Yongjeoncheon in the eastern part of Songgang village, Songgang-ri. In the Songgang-ri geological outcrops are recognized three times (Fn, Fn+1, Fn+2) of folding, three times (Dk-I, Dk-II, Dk-III) intrusion of acidic dykes, one time of faulting, which are different in deformation and intrusion timing each other. These geological structures are at least formed by five times (Dn, Dn+1, Dn+2, Dn+3, Dn+4) of deformation. The Dn deformation is recognized by Fn fold which axial surface is parallel to the regional foliation. The Dn+1 intruded the (E)NE trending Dk-I dyke in the earlier phase and formed the NW trending Fn+1 fold in the later phase under compression of (E)NE-(W)SW direction. There are tight, isoclinal, intrafolial folds, boudinage, ${\sigma}$- or ${\delta}$-type boudins, asymmetric fold, C' shear band as the major deformed rock structures. The Dn+2 intruded the (N)NW trending Dk-II dyke in the earlier phase and formed NE trending Fn+2 fold in the later phase under compression of (N)NW-(S)SE direction. There are open fold and folded boudinage as those. The Dn+2 intruded the Dk-III dyke which cuts the Dk-I and Dk-II dykes and the axial surface of Fn+2 fold. The Dn+3 formed the left-handed reverse oblique-slip fault of NNE trend in which hanging wall moves into the SSE direction. Considering in that such five times of deformation recognized in the Songgang-ri geological outcrops are closely connected to the distribution and geological structure of the constituents in the more regional area as well as Songgang-ri area, the research result is expected to play a great data in clarifying and understanding the geological structure and its development process of the surrounding and boundary constituents of the Yeongnam Massif and Gyeongsang Basin.
