성별에 따른 대학생의 피자전문점 선택에 영향을 미치는 속성 평가 (Estimation of Attributes Affecting University Students to Select the Pizza Restaurant by Gender)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the pizza purchasing behavioral characteristics of respondents and importances of factors affecting pizza purchase, to estimate the effects of attributes on pizza restaurant choice, and to predict probability of selecting a particular pizza restaurant. The questionnaire consisted of two parts: The paired experimental profiles, purchasing behavior and importances of factors affecting pizza purchase. This study generated profiles of 16 hypothetical pizza restaurant based on the seven attributes. The profiles comprised 16 discrete sets of variables, each of which had two levels. For this study, researcher randomly selected 150 students of university as respondents. Twenty students did not complete the survey instrument, resulting in a final sample size of 129. All estimations were carried out using frequencies, $X^2$, independent samples t-test, phreg procedure of SAS package. The results are as follows. Some purchasing behavioral characteristics and importances of factors affecting pizza purchase were significantly different by gender. Based on the estimated models developed for male student group and female student group, the Chi-square statistics were significant at p<0.001. The parameter estimate for late delivery time with male student group was highest, and the parameter estimate for price with female student group was highest. The pizza restaurant that charged \20,000, offered 100% discount on eleventh pizza, promised to deliver pizza in 40 mins, usually delivered the pizza as promised time, offered only 1 type of pizza crust, delivered warm pizza, offered the money-back guarantee was favored by each of male student group and female student group. The results from this study suggested that there was an opportunity to increase market share and profit by improving operations so that customers receive discount and money-back guarantee simultaneously, and by reducing price, delivery time.

  • 본 연구는 국내 할인점과 외국계 할인점에 종사하고 있는 종업원들의 윤리의식과 기업의 윤리적 가치에 관해 분석하였다. 지금까지 외국 기업에 비해 윤리경영에 대한 인식이 상대적으로 낮고 도입시기도 늦었지만, 분석결과 국내 할인점 종업원들의 윤리의식이 외국계 할인점에 종사하는 종업원들 보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기업의 윤리적 가치에 관해서도 국내 할인점이 외국계 할인점보다 높게 나타났다. 이는 그동안 국내의 각 기업들이 윤리 현장, 윤리경영강령과 같은 윤리경영의 실천을 위해 많은 노력을 기울여온 결과로써 종업원들의 윤리의식 뿐만 아니라 자신의 기업이 윤리적 가치를 중시한다는 것을 느낀 결과라고 할 수 있다.

The Use of Particle Swarm Optimization for Order Allocation Under Multiple Capacitated Sourcing and Quantity Discounts

  • The selection of suppliers and the determination of order quantities to be placed with those suppliers are important decisions in a supply chain. In this research, a non-linear mixed integer programming model is presented to select suppliers and determine the order quantities. The model considers the purchasing cost which takes into account quantity discount, the cost of transportation, the fixed cost for establishing suppliers, the cost for holding inventory, and the cost of receiving poor quality parts. The capacity constraints for suppliers, quality and lead-time requirements for the parts are also taken into account in the model. Since the purchasing cost, which is a decreasing step function of order quantities, introduces discontinuities to the non-linear objective function, it is not easy to employ traditional optimization methods. Thus, a heuristic algorithm, called particle swarm optimization (PSO), is used to find the (near) optimal solution. However, PSO usually generates initial solutions randomly. To improve the PSO solution quality, a heuristic procedure is proposed to find an initial solution based on the average unit cost including transportation, purchasing, inventory, and poor quality part cost. The results show that PSO with the proposed initial solution heuristic provides better solutions than those with PSO algorithm only.

Importance and satisfaction analysis of outdoor brand shoe selection attributes

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze the management environment Provincial and Municipal Professional Soccer Teams based on financial statements at a time when strengthening the financial soundness of domestic professional soccer teams is emphasized. Research design, data, and methodology: This study was sampled using convenience sampling and a total of 607 questionnaires were used. In this study, questionnaires were used as a survey tool, consisting of eight questions in a total of four areas, measuring demographic characteristics, shoe design, shoe functionality, shoe price, and promotion. Results: First, the importance of outdoor brand shoe selection attributes was high in cost-effectiveness, discount, and promotional models, while the satisfaction level was high in shoe size, content, and Model. Second, IPA analysis revealed shoe sizes, promotional models, and discount factors as maintenance and management continuation areas. Content factors have emerged as a competency-focused area. A sense of cushioning and wearing has emerged as an area of further improvement. As a status quo area, shoe laces and cost-effectiveness factors appeared. Conclusions: First, consumers considered the cost-effectiveness of choosing shoes, followed by discounts, and efforts are needed to diversify promotional content to maximize promotion for shoe sales. 3. Domestic outdoor brands are not yet satisfied with consumers.

인터넷 서점의 배송정책에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Delivery Policy of Internet Bookstores)

  • In this paper we study the delivery policy of internet bookstores and recommend the improved policy to increase customer satisfaction and sales revenue. We classify customers into two, the price-sensitive and the delivery time-sensitive, and develop a new shipping method, the unhurried shipping, for the price-sensitive who are reluctant to pay shipping fee for the small purchase but willing to wait extra time for the ordered goods. The customers could get discount on shipping fee by the unhurried shipping but have to accept the longer delivery lead-time. We investigate the possible ways to reduce costs with the prolonged delivery time and show that some costs regarding shipmentand inventory could be saved in order to make up for additional shipping costs for the price-sensitive.

  • Recently a great deal of people are taking legal action against the housing provider due to the defects of their Apartment house. And most of the housing companies are spending a huge amount of expenses and efforts to keep their brand value. This essay will carry out time series analysis the 20 housing district which are constructed by huge construction companies. This analysis itemised by metropolitan area(Seoul) and others to keep the degree of reliability, and converted future defect maintenance cost into current cost applied by discount rate to figure out suitability of defect maintenance cost. Even though, this essay is not able to represent standard of defect maintenance cost due to the insufficiency of record, while it will be assisted as a referance when long-term record of time series is estabilished.

  • 경기도에서 서울지역으로 통행하는 대중교통 이용자들에게 그 동안 불편함으로 작용하여 왔던 환승 요금 제도를 2008년 9월에 광역버스에 까지 확대하였다. 그리고 그동안 굴곡노선으로 인한 통행시간 증가로 불편을 호소했던 광역버스의 문제점을 해결하기 위해 기존 광역버스노선과는 별도로 굴곡노선을 직선화하고 수요가 많은 대표정류장을 중심으로 Skip Stop 방식을 도입한 간선급행버스가 개통되어 많은 기대를 모으고 있다. 본 연구는 수도권(경기도, 서울)에서 새롭게 도입되어 진행중인 대중교통관련 시책(환승할인, 간선급행서비스)에 대한 대중교통 유형별 이용자의 정량적, 정성적인 서비스 만족도를 조사분석하여, 향후 수도권의 버스교통의 차별화된 개선전략을 수집하기 위한 기초연구이다. 본 연구를 위해 이용자를 대상으로 중요도-만족도 설문조사(정량, 정성)를 실시하여 통계적 검증을 거쳐 중요도-만족도(IPA)분석을 하였다. 서비스 특성 분석결과 간선급행버스의 종합적인 서비스 측면에서 버스요금, 환승할인, 통행시간 단축과 같은 경제성부문과 정류장 개수와 같은 편리성 부문에서는 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타난 반면 정류소 까지의 접근성 부문과 버스내부의 냉 난방이나 공기질과 같은 쾌적성 부문은 만족도가 낮아 이에 대한 개선을 필요로 하고 있다.

  • 민간투자사업은 30~40년이라는 긴 기간동안 수익이 발생하는 특성을 가지며 시간이 흐름에 따라 수익과 비용에 변동요인이 발생하여 통계모형이나 현금흐름할인법보다는 시간 흐름에 따른 변수들의 상호작용에 대한 시뮬레이션이 가능한 시스템 다이내믹스 기법을 이용한다면 내외부 변수들에 대해 유의미한 시뮬레이션 결과를 도출해 낼 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 즉, 이전에 시도된 적 없는 항만분야 민간투자사업에 시스템다이내믹스를 기반으로 한 재무적 타당성 비교·검증 모형 수립을 통해 기존 현금흐름할인법과의 차이를 비교해보고, 거시경제요인, 운영기간, 사회적 할인율 등 각 변수들의 상호관계 작용이 재무성에 변화에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 시뮬레이션해 봄으로써 기존에 시도해 보지 않은 차별화된 연구를 수행해 보고자 한다.

How Does the Time Variation of Customer Satisfaction Affect Korean Retail Firms' Performance?

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine how the time variations of customer satisfaction influence retail firms' performance. Research design, data, and methodology - The study employs yearly time series customer satisfaction data of Korean retail secured from the National Customer Satisfaction Index(NCSI) for the 2011~2016 period. Our data includes a total of 90 observations of 15 retail firms in 5 different sector(department store, filling station, large discount store, open market, TV home shopping). We obtained the firm performance data from the KIS Value database. The variables for financial performance include sales and net profit. Results - The results show that customer satisfaction has dynamic effects on retail firms' performance. More specifically, the time variation of customer satisfaction has the moderating effect on the linkage between customer satisfaction and financial performance as well as direct effects on the firms' financial performance. Conclusions - Customer satisfaction has the current effect lasting over time on firm performance and changes of customer satisfaction in positive direction also impact on firm performance. Retail firms need to not only focus on improving customer satisfaction in the current term, but make efforts to continuously enhance customer satisfaction in the long term.
