곡선부에서의 한빛 200 열차 차륜방사 소음 특성 (Experimental Analysis of Wheel Radiation Noise of HANVIT 200 Train in Curve Lines)

  • The wheel radiation noise characteristic of Korean tilting train(Hanvit 200) on curved rail under the field test conditions is analyzed in this paper. The test railroad track was selected from Seodaejon to Songjeongri in Honam line. $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ car are decided to measure radiation noise level among a train of six cars. The test subject curve radius executed from R400, R500, R600, R700 and R800 segments. The speed of test trains when from R600 and R800 curves existing operation speed and speed up 20% of existing speed. On curved rail at the time of operation speed of Hanvit 200 trains from below 95km/h wheel radiation noise level at $94dBA{\sim}99dBA$, the operation speed from between $100km/h{\sim}144km/h$ wheel radiation noise level at $100dBA{\sim}106dBA$.

  • The measurement of contact wire uplift in electric railway is one of the most test method to accept the maximum permitted speed of new vehicles or pantographs. The contact wire uplift can be measured for shot periods when pantograph is running in monitoring station. This paper describes the development of two different methods for contact uplift measurement using vision-based system and wireless online monitoring system. Our vision-based system employs a high-speed CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) camera with gigabit ethernet LAN. The development of a real-time remote monitoring system that acquires data from any kind of sensor to be transmitted by wireless communication from overhead line and structure at 25 kV to a computer in catenary system. The proposed two kind of different measurement systems to evaluation for dynamic uplift of overhead contact wire shows promising on-field applications for high speed train such as Korea Tilting Train (TTX) and Korea Train eXpress (KTX).

  • In order to care about preserving the environment for future generations, each country has been required to make the laws of the environment. So manufacturers must design, manufacture and sell goods that meet customer's need and must do this while meeting the needs of the environment. In this research we have developed product structure and configuration management system that treats electronic catalogs for recycling of train parts. This research focused on two system. One is JAVA-based electronic catalog that give the information about recycling of train parts. The other is product structure and configuration management system based on electronic catalog and Bill of Materials(B.O.M).

  • The Korean Tilting Train eXpress may produced a strong micro-pressure wave in tunnel exit because of large train/tunnel area ration of conventional railways. This micro-pressure wave causes an impulsive noise which is a serious environmental noise pollution near tunnel exit. Tunnel hood can be the method of reducing the micro-pressure wave in tunnel exit. Therefore, parametric studies for tunnel hood are performed with respect to the hood length and size to investigate the effects of the tunnel hood. Also, axi-symmetric unsteady compressible flow solver was used to analyze train-tunnel relative motion. According to the result of numerical analysis, the maximum micro-pressure wave in tunnel exit is reduced by 56% throughout the hood establishment on conventional railways.

  • Induction Motor is important at tilting train. Tiling train induction motor should be operated to commercial servicespeed 180km/h at Korea Conventional Line upgrade railroad. As the induction motors are without commutators, maintenance is easy and it is far lighter than the conventional motors with the same capacity. The induction motor, however, posed problems in use as its motor torque is not large enough compared with DC motors. With the recent advances in power semiconductors, it is possible to apply the induction motors to trains by applying VVVF inverter control method to the traction motor. In this study, we realize the stable measurement AC motor temperature characteristic of TTX train.

The test subject open field executed from test sections. The speed of test trains when from existing operation speed and speed up 20% of existing speed. On open field at the time of operation speed of Hanvit 200 trains from below 160km/h interior noise level at $68dBA{\sim}70dBA$.

  • Parametric studies based on analysis of lubrication system of a four cylinder gasoline engine are illustrated system in this paper. In development process of engine lubrication system, parts of failure cases are related with oil pull over and oil churning phenomenon. The crankcase & head system pressure by oil churning phenomenon are gradual increased. It cause oil pull over phenomenon at engine breather line and oil over-consumption. In order to improve oil reduction and oil pull over phenomenon are also considered in the developing state. For this study, the characteristics of engine lubrication system are measured at various tilting angle and drain hole sizes. In addition, the oil flow & oil quantity are tested by blow by meter and catch jar. Results are presented to stabilize the oil supply system at sever driving condition. The data from present study are available for the engine lubrication system.

  • In the curving detection method by using an accelerometer, the ride comfort in the first car is worse than one in the others due to spend the time to calculate the tilting command and drive the tilting mechanism after entering in the curve. In order to enhance the ride comfort in the first car, the preditive curve detection method which predicts the distance from a train to the starting point of curve by using the GPS, Tachometer, Ground balise and position DB for track. In this study, we predicted and evaluated the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method in transient curves according to the shape and dimension of transient curve and the various driving speed. Also, we predicted the improvement of the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method by comparing with the result of the ride comfort for predictive curve detection method and for curve detection method using an accelerometer in the short transient curve.

180km/h급 한국형 틸팅차량의 틸팅대차용 엑츄에이터 성능 예측 (Performance Prediction of Tilting Actuator for 180km/h Korea Tilting Train)

  • 180km/h 급 한국형 틸팅차량의 틸팅 메카니즘 기구동역학 해석을 통하여 얻어진 틸팅 대차를 형성하는 주요 파라메터들의 값을 기반으로 틸팅대차용 엑츄에이터의 성능과 용량을 계산하여 설계에 결과를 반영하고자 한다. 승객의 안락감을 유지하기 위해 차체 틸팅 각가속도에 Sine 연속 함수를 적용하여 차체의 틸팅 제어 패턴을 결정하였으며, 이를 통해 차체의 틸팅 각속도와 틸팅각의 패턴을 얻어내었다. 또한 이번 연구를 통해 틸팅 메카니즘의 파라메타를 변화하면서 각각의 틸팅각에 따른 Swing bar 와 엑츄에이터에 작용되는 반발력에 대한 영향력을 분석, 검토하였으며, 이에 따른 엑츄에이터의 출력과 변위 속도등의 변화를 조사하였다. 이러한 결과와 틸팅 메카니즘 기구동력학 해석의 결과를 토대로 틸팅차량이 요구하는 최적의 틸팅 운동을 수행하는 파라메타를 결정하였다.
