전체 적층판 접근법을 이용한 섬유강화 적층 복합재 차체 구조물의 파손평가 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Failure for Carbody Structures made of Laminated Fiber-Reinforced Composite Materials Using Total Laminate Approach)

  • 섬유강화 적층 복합재 차체 구조물의 강도를 평가하기 위해 전체 적층판 접근방법의 적용을 제시하였다. 180km/h급의 한국형 틸팅열차의 하이브리드 복합재 자체 기본설계를 검증하기 위해서 구조해석을 수행하였으며 또한 복합재 적층판의 강도를 구하기 위해 기계적 물성시험을 수행하였다. 결과적으로, 한국형 틸팅열차의 복합재 자체 구조물에서 발생하는 응력값들은 모두 파손영역의 안전한 범위 내에 존재하였으며 전체 적층판 접근방법은 초기 기본석계 단계에서 하이브리드 복합재 자체 구조물의 파손을 예측하는데 매우 유용함을 증명하였다.

자가운전과 궤도 차량을 이용한 통행생산성 평가연구 (A Study of Transports Productivity by using Car and Railway)

  • Recently study on passenger' activities found that many passengers were ride in kinds of transport, e.g. car and railway while business trip. Usually choice of transport is determined by the transportation of passengers, depending on the purpose of travel. A study was therefore set up to study how efficient influence the transports about business trip. The study involved 4 subjects (4m) which divided into four groups during two day. We evaluate about the transport productivity by each day by using the car and railway. The transport productivity of car and railway was valued in HRV and Stroop Color Word Interference Test. The results showed significant differences between the car and railway. The subjects reported that use of railway is greater transport productivity than the car.

  • Aging characteristics of glass fabric/phenolic composites for tilting train subjected to combined environmental aging factors were investigated. A 2.5KW accelerated aging tester with a xenon-arc lamp was used to provide environmental aging factors such as temperature, moisture, and ultraviolet. A series of aging tests were conducted up to 3000 hours and several types of specimens were prepared along the warp direction and the fill direction. Mechanical degradations for tensile, flexural, and shear properties were evaluated as a function of exposure times through a material testing system. Thermal analysis properties such as storage shear modulus, loss shear modulus, and tan 3 were measured through a dynamic mechanical analyzer. Finally exposed surfaces of the composites were examined using a scanning electron microscope. According to the experimental results, mechanical properties and thermal analysis properties of glass fabric/phenolic composites were found to be slightly degraded as a function of exposure times due to combined environmental effects.

틸팅열차 차체용 탄소섬유직물/에폭시 복합재의 모우드 I 층간파괴인성 평가 (Evaluation of Mode I Interlaminar Fracture Toughness for Carbon Fabric/Expocy Composite for Tilting Train Carbody)

  • Model I interlaminar fracture behaviors of the carbon/epoxy composite, one of the candidate composites for a tilting train carbody, were investigate by the use of DCB(Double cantilever beam) specimens. These specimens were made of CF3327 plain woven fabric with epoxy resin, and an artificial starter delamination was fabricated by inserting Teflon film with the thickness of $12.5{\mu}m$ of $25.0{\mu}m$ at the one end of the specimen. Mode I interlaminar fracture toughness was evaluated for the specimens with the different thickness of an inserter. Also delamination propagating behaviors and interlaminar fracture surface were examined through an ooptical travelling scope and a scanning electron microscope. We found that abruptly unstable crack propagation called as stick-slip phenomena was observed. In addition, interlaminar fracture behaviors were affected on the location and the morphology of a crack tip as well as an interface region.

철도망 구축을 고려한 철도시스템의 기술개발전략 (A Strategy of Technology Development for the Railway System based on Railway Network)

  • Studied was a strategy of technology development for railway system in terms of railway network. First, The successful launch of the Korean HST system has not only decreased logistics burden but also significantly transformed the Korean trunk-line railway network, revolutionizing the logistics and technology sectors and reinvigorating the Korean railway industry in one century. Korean railway industry sector is now investing to develop many different types of railway system(G7, Post G7, tilting train...) so that these kinds of various railway system development should be integrated with the National Inter-modal Transportation Network Plan. To secure sufficient capacity that is required by the National Railroad Plan, the railway industry needs to establish mid- and long-term train purchase and operation strategies in compliance with railway construction and operation policies. During a railway construction planning, train operators, based on their train operation strategies, should come up with measures to closely cooperate with project operators from the planning stage through to the opening of a railway system. To be more precise, train operators should establish long-term train procurement plans reflecting both long-term national railroad network plans and plans for each railway line in order to suggest appropriate roles and schedules for each line. Also, based on the long-term railway plan, directions should be decided concerning the research and development of trains in advance.

  • PID Control Data Base creation device of DCU is safety operation technology of train door. For keeping the normal condition of door, measured value of regular condition and unusual(trouble detected) condition should be recorded by encoding. The door should be measured itself as this value is compared with standard vale. If it's condition of the door and for reaching the datum point and ot does self-diagnosis. This aim for Technical Realization is that carry out safety train operation by using the Estimation Data Base and protect before door-trouble.

So manufacturers must design, manufacture and sell goods that meet customer's need and must do this while meeting the needs of the environment. In this research we have developed product structure and configuration management system that treats electronic catalogs for recycling of train parts. This research focused on two system. One is JAVA-based electronic catalog that give the information about recycling of train parts. The other is product structure and configuration management system based on electronic catalog and Bill of Materials(B.O.M)

  • This paper describes the design process and the test of split wheel-mounted brake discs for high speed train with maximum speed 180km/h. A disc set composed 2 disc rings and individual rings are partitioned into 3 pieces with the same circumferential angle. Because partitioned disc rigs are exposed to severe centrifugal force as the vehicle speed increase, finite element analyses used in the design process to ensure mechanical safety. A prototype was verified its mechanical safety through the spin test up to 250km/h. 2 prototypes for 1 wheelset are mounted to Korean Tilting Train(TTX) and have been running over 15,000km
