전산화단층촬영에서 폐 반고형결절의 크기와 용적에 호흡이 미치는 영향: 개인 내 전폐용량과 일호흡량 간 비교 (The Effect of Lung Volume on the Size and Volume of Pulmonary Subsolid Nodules on CT: Intraindividual Comparison between Total Lung Capacity and Tidal Volume)

  • 목적 전산화단층촬영에서 호흡에 의한 폐 용적의 변화가 폐 반고형결절의 크기와 용적에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 대상과 방법 총 31명의 환자에서 42개의 반고형결절이 연구에 포함되었다. 먼저 총 폐활량 상태에서 전산단층화촬영을 시행 받은 후, 결절이 포함된 부분만 일호흡용적 상태에서 추가로 촬영하였다. 각각의 반고형결절의 직경과 용적을 측정하였고, 전체 폐 용적은 결절의 중심이 있는 동측 폐의 단면적으로 추정하였다. 동일한 개인 내에서 총 폐활량과 일회 호흡량 간 측정값 변화의 유의성을 통계적으로 평가하였다. 결과 총 폐활량 상태와 비교하였을 때, 일회 호흡용적 상태에서 폐 단면적은 평균 12.7 cm2, 반고형결절의 직경 및 용적은 평균적으로 각각 0.5 mm와 46.4 mm3 감소하였다(p < 0.001). 총 폐활량 상태와 일호흡량 상태 간 폐 면적 변화는 반고형결절의 직경 변화(rho = 0.341; p = 0.027) 및 부피 변화(rho = 0.401; p = 0.014)와 유의한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 그러나 폐 용적의 변화를 고려하여 보정한 후에는 반고형결절의 평균 직경과 부피가 총 폐활량 상태와 일호흡량 상태 간 유의한 차이가 없었다(각각 p = 0.062, p = 0.124). 결론 전산화단층촬영에서 측정한 반고형결절의 크기와 용적은 동일한 환자 내에서도 촬영 당시의 폐 용적에 유의한 영향을 받는다.

발전량 비교를 통한 창조식 조력발전의 기동낙차 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determination of Starting Head by Comparing The Generating Power in Single Action Tidal Power Plant)

  • Because of its predictability of the energy cycle and huge scale power output, the ocean energy from tidal power utilization has always received attention as a great energy source, even though its development cost, including the embankment construction, is so much higher than that of any other energy source. Nevertheless, nowadays many projects are being planned on account of institutional support from the government and the recent advance of construction technology. In Korea, the new industry field operating and managing the tidal power plant has already opened. But we are facing a number of problems for optimal operation of tidal power plant that are a lack of operation experience and a skill of professional management and others. This paper suggests a novel way to determine the starting head of power generation by generating power comparison method For this new method, the paper discusses many factors including changing the volume of the basin, the number of operating turbines and gates and forecasting the tidal amplitude and the characteristic curve of turbine and gate. Finally we verified that it can increase about 2% an annual power generation compared with the conventional method using the original operational function made in the plant design process.

  • Tidal power station is using the difference of the ebb and flow and the single action tidal power is dependent on tide amplitude and basin volume. Therefore the inflow of basin in rainy season has also effect on the daily power. Also if operating units are changed then starting head too changed. Therefore the number of units are very important for the optimization model. According to our study the primary point when we make a determination of optimization is starting head and governorl control mode. On this study optimization model for tidal power station is considered all of this conditions.

Simulation of Tidal Fields around a Huge Floating Marina using a Multi-level Method

  • Floating marina has been interests as an alternative to the facilities for recreational boats because of its cost effectivenes and less environmental conflicts. For tile present research, a square floating marina with a length of 400m and draft of 5m was used. This marina can be extended to 800m by putting anotjer one together. Tidal field around tile marina was simulated using a multi-level finite difference method. Tidal motion was assumed sinusoidal in a closed rectangular bay. Velocities and residual current were investigated for two cases of single marina and two marinas installed in tile bay. It was found that the horizontal velocity fields from the water surface to the structure bottom around tile marina were affected. In the marina basin, magnitude of velocity was reduced considerably but overall quality of water circulation was preserved even after two marina were installed.

만내의 해수유동에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Sea Water Flow in Bay)

  • Recently, the water pollution of coastal sea area including harbor, bay and inland sea has been very serious and it causes various environmental impacts. In this study, water flow system of Danghang Bay, which has the narrow and long topographical characteristics with the narrow bay mouth and its flow is influenced principally by the tidal current, is investigated experimentally and numerically. In order to understand the tidal system of Danghang Bay, harmonic analysis is performed based on measured tidal range and flow velocity In addition, numerical model for tidal exchange is developed considering conditions of Danghang Ray. Calculated results show good agreement with measurements. Lastly. based on the proposed numerical model, exchange ratio of seawater volume in Danghang Bay is predicted.

유출된 풍화유와 분산유의 조간대 침투 및 생태계 영향 - 용존상 물질의 침투량 변화 - (Penetration of Weathered Oil and Dispersed Oil and its Ecological Effects on Tidal Flat - as Infiltration of Dissolved Matter -)

  • 본 연구에서는 조간대에서 유출된 기름의 표착 및 침투과정을 파악하고, 침투된 기름의 해수 침투차단 여부를 검토하는 것을 목적으로 하여 모의 조간대를 이용하여 연구를 수행하였다. 표착된 기름의 침투깊이는 분산유가 가장 낮았으며, 풍화유 그리고 원유의 순서로 깊어지는 경향을 나타냈다. 그리고 기름의 침투는 표착된 기름의 양에 의해 좌우되는 것을 알 수 있었으며, 유출된 기름의 침투는 첫번째 조석에서 거의 대부분 결정되며 그이후에는 거의 변화가 없었다. 침투된 기름은 토양 표층으로부터 2 cm 부분이 가장 농도가 높음을 알았다. 기름의 침투량의 증가와 더불어 해수의 침투량이 감소하였으며, 분산유보다는 원유나 풍화유가 보다 많은 양의 해수를 차단하였다. 따라서 해수의 침투량의 차단이라는 관점에서 볼 때 연안 조간대에서 표착유의 저서생물에 대한 피해는 풍화유나 원유가 분산유보다 클것으로 사료된다.

Sweet Bee Venom 시술이 Rat의 호흡기계에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Sweet Bee Venom on the respiratory system in Rats)

  • Objectives: This study was performed to analyse the effects of Sweet Bee Venom(SBV-purified melittin supported by G&V Co., the major component of honey bee venom) on the respiratory system in rats. Methods: All experiments were conducted at Biotoxtech Company, a non-clinical studies authorized institution, under the regulations of Good Laboratory Practice(GLP). Male rats of 5 weeks old were chosen for this study and after confirming condition of rats was stable, SBV was administered in thigh muscle of rats in 0.175, 0.35 and 0.7 mg/kg dosage. And checked the effects of SBV on the respiratory system using the whole body plethysmography. And respiratory rate, tidal volume and minute volume of rats were checked after administered SBV (melittin). Results: 1. In the measurement of respiratory rate, there were not observed any significant differences compared with control group. 2. In the measurement of tidal volume, there was not observed any significant differences compared with control group. 3. In the measurement of minute volume, 0.35mg/kg dosage group showed significant differences compared with control group. But we estimated that this result was caused by individual differences. Conclusions: Above findings suggest that SBV seems to be safe treatment in the respiratory system of rats. And further studies on the subject should be conducted to yield more concrete evidences.

개심술후 폐기능 -수술직후 및 장기간의 추이에 대하여- (Pulmonary Function Following Open Heart Surgery -early and late postoperative changes-)

  • Twenty-two patients were selected for evaluation of pre-and postoperative pulmonary function. These patients were performed open cardiac surgery with the extracorporeal circulation from March 1979 to July 1980 at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Kyungbook National University Hospital. Patients were classified with ventricular septal defect 5 cases, atrial septal defect 5 cases, tetralogy of Fallot 5 cases, mitral stenosis 4 cases, rupture of aneurysm of sinus Valsalva 1 case, left atrial myxoma I case, and aortic insufficiency 1 case. The pulmonary function tests were performed and listed: [1] respiratory rate, tidal volume [TV], and minute volume[MV], [2] forced vital capacity [FVC] and forced expiratory volume[FEV 0.5 & FEV 1.0], [3] forced expiratory flow [FEF 200-1200 ml & FEF 25-75%]. [4] Maximal voluntary ventilation [MVV], [5] residual volume [RV] and functional residual capacity[FRC], measured by a helium dilution technique. Respiratory rate increased during the early postoperative days and tidal volume decreased significantly. These values returned to the preoperative levels after postoperative 5-6 days. Minute volume decreased slightly, but essentially unchanged. Preoperative mean values of the forced vital capacity, functional residual capacity and total lung capacity decreased [63.2%, 87.2% & 77.3% predicted, respectively], and early postoperatively these values decreased further [19.6%, 76.0% & 38.0% predicted], but later progressively increased to the preoperative levels. In residual volume, there was no decline in the preoperative mean values [100.9% predicted] and postoperatively the value rather increased [106.3-161.7% predicted]. Forced expiratory volume [FEV 0.5 & FEV 1.0] and forced expiratory flow [FEF 200-1200 ml & FEF 25-75%] also revealed significant declines in the early postoperative period. There was no significant difference in values of the spirometric pulmonary function tests, such as FEF 1.O and FEF 25-75% between successful weaning group [17 cases] extubated within 24 hrs post-operatively and unsuccessful weaning group [5 cases] extubated beyond 24 hrs. Static compliance and airway resistance measured for the two cases during assisted ventilation, however, any information was not obtained. Long term follow-up pulmonary function studies were carried out for 8 cases in 9 months post-operatively. All of the results returned to the pre-operative or to normal predicted levels except FVC, FEV 1.0, and FEF 25-75% those showed minimal declines compared to the pre-operative figures.

연안해역에서 파도에 의한 해수 침투이론의 비교와 정량화 (Analysis and Quantification of Seawater Infiltration by Wave Action in Coastal Zone)

  • 조간대와 같은 연안지역에서 해수의 토양 이동이 가지는 의미는 육상으로부터 유입되는 오염물질의 토양 이동 및 생물농축, 저서생물들의 생존에 필수적인 플랑크톤, 박테리아, 유기쇄설물, 산소, 영양염, 유기물의 생물공급, 수질 정화량 산정의 중요한 단서가 된다는 점이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 폐쇄성 수역과 같이 파도에너지가 비교적 작은 조간대에서 파도에 의한 해수의 침투거동을 해석하고, 파도에너지와 사면 구배의 변화에 따른 해수의 침투량 변화를 파악하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 실제 조간대에서의 해수 침투량을 개략적으로 산정하는 것을 목적으로 하여, 모의 조간대 실험장치를 이용하여 실험을 수행한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 폐쇄성 수역과 같은 파도에너지가 작은 조간대에서는 파도에 의해서 해수가 반원형의 형태로 토양중으로 침투하는 semi-circular mechanism은 지금까지 알려지지 않았던 새로운 침투 거동임을 알 수 있었다. 구배 또는 쇄파파고가 높아짐에 따라서 해수의 침투량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 해수는 쇄파파고 보다는 구배의 영향을 크게 받아서 토양중으로 침투한다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 현장토양을 이용하여 해수의 침투량을 정량화 할 수 있었으며, 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 현장 조간대에서의 해수 침투량을 개략적으로 산정 할 수 있었다. 따라서, 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 오염물질의 토양 이동 및 생물농축, 저서생물들의 먹이공급, 수질 정화량 산정에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되기를 요망한다.
