하이힐 뒤굽 높이가 서기 균형 및 발목 근육 활성도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Shoe Heel Height on Standing Balance and Muscle Activation of Ankle Joint)

  • This study aimed to investigate the effect of differing heel height on static balance and muscle activation of ankle joint during standing. Twenty-one young females volunteered to participate in this study. To measure balance function and EMG activity of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles, the subjects were asked to perform 1-min standing with eyes open and closed state under 3 different heel heights: barefoot, 3cm, and 7cm each. During the standing, postural sway distance and area, and EMG activity of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius muscles were significantly augmented with increasing heel height (p<0.05). For comparison between eyes open and closed in terms of postural sway area and EMG activity of tibialis anterior muscle, barefoot and 7cm height conditions respectively showed significant differences as well. The findings indicate that high-heeled shoes may have disadvantages in maintaining balance function because of extra-muscular effort of ankle joint. This study provides useful information that will inform future studies on how heel height affects muscle activity around the ankle joint in aspects of static and dynamic balance.

The Influence of Flip-flops Gait on the Muscle Activity of Tibilalis anterior and Gastrocnemius

  • The fact that flip-flops, one of many different types of unstable shoes, are light and relatively easy to put on, accounts for their popularity among people. But because flip-flops rely heavily on the support of a single thong between your first and second toes, they impose a huge amount of pressure onto lower leg. Thus in the following experiment we tried to examine the different effects of flip-flops and running shoes in terms of their effect on muscle activity and fatigue of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius during walking. In order to measure an electromyogram we used Free EMG system. 10 men and 10 women in running shoes ran on treadmills for 15 minutes at 4.8km/h, 2 days later the same experiment was carried out, but this time, in flip-flops. p value turned out to be greater than .05 and thus there was no considerable difference between the effects of flip-flops and running shoes on muscle activity and fatigue during walking. Therefore we conclude that despite the fact that flip-flops are considered unstable, their effects on muscle activity and fatigue of tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius are negligible.

로잉운동 시 상지 운동궤적에 따른 근육활성 전략에 관한 연구 (Study on the Strategy of Muscular Activity for Motor Track of Upper Limbs during Rowing Exercise)

  • 본 논문에서는 로잉 운동 시 팔의 운동 궤적별 상 하지 근육활성화와 근력변화를 고찰하였다. 피험자는 로잉운동이나 운동관련 상해경험이 없는 20대 남성 20명을 대상으로 진행하였다. 피험자들은 기존의 운동궤적으로 운동을 하는 대조군과 새로운 운동궤적으로 운동을 하는 훈련으로 각각 10명씩 나누어 실험을 진행하였다. 운동은 총 8주간 주 3일 운동을 실시하였다. 운동 중 실시간 근전도를 측정하였으며 매주 1회 관절토크를 측정하였다. 실시간 근전도 결과 운동궤적에 따라 서로 다른 근육활성개시구간을 나타냈다. 이는 운동궤적에 따라 운동추진력을 다른 근육에서 활성화 하는 것을 의미하며, 관절토크 변화에서도 운동궤적에 따라 다른 변화를 나타냈다. 직선궤적운동에서는 상지 보다는 하지의 토크 변화가 컸으며 이는 운동 추진력을 하지 위주로 발생되는 것을 의미한다. 타원궤적운동에서는 상지, 요추, 하지 모두에서 큰 토크 변화가 나타났으며 이는 운동 추진력을 단관절이 아닌 다관절에서 발생되는 것으로 판단된다.
