비납계 (Ba0.85Ca0.15)(Ti0.9Zr0.1)O3 압전 나노소재를 이용한 복합체 필름 기반의 플렉서블 에너지 하베스터 개발 (Development of Composite-film-based Flexible Energy Harvester using Lead-free BCTZ Piezoelectric Nanomaterials)

  • Composite-based piezoelectric devices are extensively studied to develop sustainable power supply and self-powered devices owing to their excellent mechanical durability and output performance. In this study, we design a lead-free piezoelectric nanocomposite utilizing (Ba0.85 Ca0.15)(Ti0.9Zr0.1)O3 (BCTZ) nanomaterials for realizing highly flexible energy harvesters. To improve the output performance of the devices, we incorporate porous BCTZ nanowires (NWs) into the nanoparticle (NP)-based piezoelectric nanocomposite. BCTZ NPs and NWs are synthesized through the solid-state reaction and sol-gel-based electrospinning, respectively; subsequently, they are dispersed inside a polyimide matrix. The output performance of the energy harvesters is measured using an optimized measurement system during repetitive mechanical deformation by varying the composition of the NPs and NWs. A nanocomposite-based energy harvester with 4:1 weight ratio generates the maximum open-circuit voltage and short-circuit current of 0.83 V and 0.28 ㎂, respectively. In this study, self-powered devices are constructed with enhanced output performance by using piezoelectric energy harvesting for application in flexible and wearable devices.

유기발포제에 따른 적층형 PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) 써미스터의 전기적 특성 (Electric Properties of the Laminate Type PTC(Positive Temperature Coefficient of Resistance) Thermistor According to Polymer Blowing Agent)

  • The electrical properties of a laminated SMD type PTC thermistor for microcircuit protection were investigated as a function of polymer blowing agent addition. Green ceramics for multilayered $BaTiO_3$-based PTCRs were formed by doctor blade method of barium titanate powders; we successfully laminated the sintered ceramic chips to obtain 10 layer chip PTCRs with PTC effect. The sintered density increases with increasing sintering temperature. The electrical properties of the sintered samples were strongly dependent on the calcination and addition of a polymer blowing agent. When $BaTiO_3$ powders containing 0.2 mol% of $Y_2O_3$ were calcined at $1000^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs, the resistivity jump was of 1-2 orders of magnitude. The resistivity at room temperature increases according to the polymer blowing agent addition. Also, the sample using the calcined powder showed a lower resistivity than that of the sample prepared using powders without calcinations. With an increase in the OBSH, the magnitude of the resistivity jumped as a function of the temperature increase. The resistivity of the sintered bodies after the addition of 0.5 wt% polymer blowing agent at $1290^{\circ}C$ for 2 h was shown to be about $8.5{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$; the jump order of the sintered bodies was shown to be on the order of $10^2$.

무기계고화재의 슬러지 개량토 제조에 관한 융합연구 (Convergent Study on the Preparation of Sludge Modified Soils of Inorganic Consolidation Soil)

  • 제지슬러지 소각재, 용광로 슬래그 미세분말 생석회, 무수석고 및 프라이애쉬 등을 혼합하여 무기계고화재를 제조하였다. 슬러지 처리용으로 개발된 고화재의 주성분은 SiO, $Al_2O_3$, $TiO_2$, $Fe_2O_3$, $Mn_2O_3$, CaO, MgO, $Na_2O$, $K_2O$, $P_2O$, $SO_3$이었다. 시멘트와 달리, 개발된 고화재에는 발암물질로 알려진 $Cr^{6+}$가 함유되지 않았다. 중금속 및 기름 오염토를 고화재와 혼합한 후 7일간 양생하여 빗물용출실험을 시행한 결과 중금속이 미미하였다. 하수슬러지 케이크 및 음식물쓰레기와 고화재를 각각 혼합하여 7일 양생 후 토양성분실험을 한 결과 중금속 함량이 환경기준치 이하로 나타났다. 슬러지, 고화재 및 첨가제 혼합시료를 비이커에 혼합한 후 암모니아 농도를 측정한 결과 3일 후 0이 되었다.

거대 기공을 갖는 다공질 TiO2 분말의 살균 효과 (Synthesis of Macroporous TiO2 Microparticles for Anti-Bactericidal Application)

  • 본 연구에서는 에멀젼 자기조립틀을 활용하여 거대기공을 갖는 타이타니아 분말을 합성하였으며, 자외선 조사를 활용한 광촉매 실험을 통해 상용화된 타이타니아 나노입자와 다공질 타이타니아 분말을 이용한 고초균의 살균 효과를 비교하였다. 다공질 분말의 기공 크기를 달리하여 자외선 조사 시간에 따른 고초균 수의 감소를 측정하였으며, 살균 실험의 최적 조건을 도출하기 위하여 기공 크기에 따른 다공질 타이타니아 분말의 살균력을 비교하였다. 기공 크기가 작아질수록 살균 효과는 증대됨을 관찰하였으며, 광촉매의 활용 및 자외선 조사에 의해 1시간 동안 50% 이상의 고초균이 제거되는 효과를 확인하였다. 또한 활성 화학종의 발생을 촉진하기 위하여 과산화수소의 희석 용액을 광촉매 살균 방식과 결합하였으며, 1시간 동안의 자외선 조사에 의해 균주의 거의 대부분이 사멸되는 등 고초균에 대한 살균 효과를 증진시킬 수 있었다.

신광원 유기분산형 백라이트 EL 디스플레이 소자 (Organic Dispersion Type Back Light EL Display Device as a New Light Source)

  • Ethyl hydroxy ethyl cellulose의 고분자를 중심으로 하는 유기 결합제를 사용하고 형광체로서 ZnS:Cu와 유전체로$BaTiO_3$ 사용해 screen printing법에 의해 신광원으로서 많은 연구 개발이 집중되고 있는 유기분산형 백라이트 EL(Electroluminescent) 소자를 제조하였다. 제조된 백라이트용 유기 분산형 EL 소자의 특성은 $25[^{\circ}C]$, 100[V], 400[Hz]에서 $1.98[mA/\m^2]$의 전류밀도, O.075[W]의 power consumption, 정전용량 7.l[nF]를 나타내었다. 소자의 휘도는 50~150[V] 사이에서 $20~110[cd/\m^2]$의 밝기를 나타내였으며, 형광체의 색상변화는 ClE에 공인된 색 좌표에 의해 x=0.1711, y=0.3676의 bluish green의 색상을 나타내었다.

전도성 광촉매를 이용한 콘크리트 철근의 염해 내구성 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Seawater Corrosion Resistance of Concrete Reinforcing Steel Using by Conductive Photocatalyst)

  • 해양환경에서 콘크리트의 내구성과 철근의 부식은 콘크리트 내부로 침투하는 염소이온에 의해 악화된다. 본 연구에서는 염소이온에 의해 야기되는 콘크리트의 염해부식에 대한 저항성을 향상시키기 위해 전도성 광촉매를 사용하였다. 시험체로는 전도성 활성탄소와 광촉매($TiO_2$)분말을 혼합하여 모르타르와 콘크리트를 제작하였다. 전도성 탄소의 함량이 증가할수록 압축강도는 감소하였다. 전도성 광촉매가 첨가된 시험체가 일반 시험체보다 월등히 우수한 내염해부식성을 나타내었으며 이것은 XRF 시험에 의한 분석 결과 모르타르 또는 콘크리트 내부로의 염소이온 확산이 광촉매 작용에 의해 억제되었기 때문인 것으로 판단되었다. 모르타르 및 콘크리트 내부로의 염소이온 확산계수를 구함으로써 광촉매에 의한 염소이온 확산에 대한 억제반응이 분석되었다.

  • Alkaline water electrolysis has been commercialized as the only large-scale method for a long time to produce hydrogen and the technology is superior to other methods such as photochemical, thermochemical water splitting, and thermal decomposition method in view of efficiency and related technical problem. However, such conventional electrolyzer do not have high electric efficiency and productivity to apply to large scale hydrogen production for energy or chemical feedstocks. Solid polymer electrolyte water electrolysis using a perfluorocation exchange membrane as an $H^+$ ion conductor is considered to be a promising method, because of capability for operating at high current densities and low cell voltages. So, this is a good technology for the storage of electricity generated by photovoltaic power plants, wind generators and other energy conversion systems. One of the most important R&D topics in electrolyser is how to minimize cell voltage and maximize current density in order to increase the productivity of the electrolyzer. A commercialized technology is the hot press method which the film type electrocatalyst is hot-pressed to soild polymer membrane in order to eliminate the contact resistance. Various technologies, electrocatalyst formed over Nafion membrane surface by means of nonelectrolytic plating process, porous sintered metal(titanium powder) or titanium mesh coated with electrocatalyst, have been studied for preparation of membrane-electrocatalyst composites. In this study some experiments have been conducted at a solid polymer electrolyte water electrolyzer, which consisted of single cell stack with an electrode area of $25cm^2$ in a unipolar arrangement using titanium mesh coated with electrocatalyst.

지방족 탄화수소의 할로겐 유도체 수용액의 광촉매-광분해 (Photodegradation of Halogen Derivatives of Aliphatic Hydrocarbon in Aqueous Photocatalytic Suspensions)

  • The rates of photodegradation, reactivities, and mechanisms of photooxidation for the aqueous solution containing with halogen derivatives of aliphatic hydrocarbons have been discussed with respect to the kinds of photocatalysts, concentration of photocatalytlc suspensions, strength of radiant power, time of illumination, changes of pH of substrate solution, wavelength of radiation, and pressure of oxygen gas saturated In the solution. These aqueous solutions suspended with 0.5 $gL^{-1}$ $TiO_2$ powder have been photodecomposed in the range of 100 and 93.8% per 1 hour if it is illuminated with wavelength (λ $\geq$ 300nm) produced from Xe-lamp(450W). The photocatalytic abilities have been increased In the order of $Fe_2O_3$ < CdS < $CeO_2$ < Y_2O_3$ <$TiO_2$, and rates of photodegradation for the solution have maldmum values in the condition of pH 6 ~ 8 and 3 psi-$O_2$ gL^{-1}$. These rates for the Photoolddation Per 1 hour were dependent on the size of molecular weight and chemical bonding for organic halogen compounds and the rates of photodegadation were increased in the order of $C_2H_5Br$ < CH_2Br_2$ < C_5H_11Cl C_2H_4Cl_2$ < tracts-$C_2H_2Cl_2$ < cis-C_2H_2Cl_2$ The T_{1/2}$ and t99% for these solutions were 5~21 and 40~90 minutes. respectively, and these values were coincided with Initial reaction kinetics(ro). It was found that reaction of photodegradation has the pseudo first-order kinetics controlled by the amount of $h^+_{VB}$ diffused from a surface of photocatalysts.

발전소의 석탄재로부터 결정화유리의 제초 및 물리적 특성 (Development and Physical Properties of a Glass-ceramic from Fly Ash of Power Station)

  • 국내화력발전소의 비산재를 재활용하고자 결정화유리를 제조하여 그 물리적 특성을 평가하였다. 용융석탄재의 융점을 낮게 하기 위하여 CaO와 유리의 결정화를 유도하기 위하여 TiO$_2$를 첨가하였다. 저융점의 유리를 제조 후, 일단계 열처리 (950~105$0^{\circ}C$에서 30~240분)에 의하여 결정화유리를 제조하였다. 그 결과로, 제조된 결정화유리는 새로운 미세한 결정상(a=7.4480, b=10.2381, c=4.3940 A, $\alpha$=94.9, $\beta$=98.6, ${\gamma}$=108.5$^{\circ}$)을 갖고, 높은 경도(7.1~7.6 GPa)와 고 내마모성을 나타냈다. 이처럼 화력발전소의 비산재와 CaO의 공급원인 조개껍질로 제조된 결정화유리는 자원 재활용, 건축자재로 사용될 수 있는 새로운 응용성을 보여주었다.

다양한 구강위생기구를 이용하여 임플란트 표면의 Prophylaxis 시행시 표면형태의 변화분석 (Analysis of surface form change after performing prophylaxis procedure on implant surface using various oral hygiene instruments)

  • It is improtant that performing prophylaxis procedure on an infected implant surface in order to treat peri-implantitis should not change the surface roughness and composition, so that the surface can be recovered to almost same condition as initial implant surface. This thesis, therefore, studied an effect of various oral hygiene instrument on implant surface. A surface roughness measurement instrument and an infection electron microscope were used to observe a change on surface. The purpose of this study was to obtain a clinical guidelines during implant care and peri-implantitis treatment. The result were as follows 1. Ra values (surface roughness value) at experimental group 1, group 2, and group 5 were increased significantly as compared with comparison group(p<0.05). 2. When compared experimental group 1 with each experimental groups at which prohylaxis procedure was performed, mean values of Ra at experimental group 2, group 3, group 6, and group 7 were decreased significantly(p<0.05). 3. Mean value of Ra was lowest at experimental group 2, and highest at experimental group 2, and highest at experimental group 5. 4. Analysis of SEM showed that was significant surface change at experimental group 2, group 3, group 4, group 5, and group 6 as compared with comparison group(X1000). 5. Analysis fo EDX showed that a quantity of Ti on surface for experimental group 6 was very similar to that for comparison group. In conclusion, air-powder abrasive and citric acid, plastic instrument are safe methods to use for performing prophylaxis procedure on implant care or for cleaning and sterilization process on treatment of peri-implantitis, based on the result that those method did not affect implant surface roughness and Ti composition.
