Purpose The research was studied the hierarchical Hangul emotion index by organizing all the emotions which SNS users are thinking. As a preliminary study by the researcher, the English-based Plutchick (1980)'s emotional standard was reinterpreted in Korean, and a hashtag with implicit meaning on SNS was studied. To build a multidimensional emotion dictionary and classify three-dimensional emotions, an emotion seed was selected for the composition of seven emotion sets, and an emotion word dictionary was constructed by collecting SNS hashtags derived from each emotion seed. We also want to explore the priority of each Hangul emotion index. Design/methodology/approach In the process of transforming the matrix through the vector process of words constituting the sentence, weights were extracted using TF-IDF (Term Frequency Inverse Document Frequency), and the dimension reduction technique of the matrix in the emotion set was NMF (Nonnegative Matrix Factorization) algorithm. The emotional dimension was solved by using the characteristic value of the emotional word. The cosine distance algorithm was used to measure the distance between vectors by measuring the similarity of emotion words in the emotion set. Findings Customer needs analysis is a force to read changes in emotions, and Korean emotion word research is the customer's needs. In addition, the ranking of the emotion words within the emotion set will be a special criterion for reading the depth of the emotion. The sentiment index study of this research believes that by providing companies with effective information for emotional marketing, new business opportunities will be expanded and valued. In addition, if the emotion dictionary is eventually connected to the emotional DNA of the product, it will be possible to define the "emotional DNA", which is a set of emotions that the product should have.

The purpose of this paper is to develop an online analytical processing (OLAP) database system for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) growth support. In this paper, we made a model of measuring SME size first. The model is composed of five determinants of firm growth such as employment, sales, the amount of export, own technology, and the ratio of R&D expenditure to sales. Second, we designed the FREQUENCY dimension table which will make staged support of R&D expenditure. We developed the OLAP database system by using three dimensions including the FREQUENCY dimension, and using the model of measuring SME size. Also we assessed past decisions on R&D expenditure support in the Small Business R&D Support Project by using the OLAP database system.
PURPOSE. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of surface treatments on microtensile bond strengths (MTBSs) of two types of indirect resin composites bonded to a conventional direct resin composite. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Indirect resin composite blocks of Ceramage and SR Nexco were prepared in a plastic mold having a dimension of $10{\times}10{\times}4\;mm$. These composite blocks were divided into three groups according to their surface treatments: Group1: Sandblast (SB); Group2: Sandblast and ultrasonically clean (SB+UL); Group3: Sandblast plus silane (SB+SI). After bonding with direct resin composite, indirect-direct resin composite blocks were kept in distilled water for 24 hours at $37^{\circ}C$ and cut into microbars with the dimension of $1{\times}1{\times}8\;mm$. Microbar specimens (n = 40 per group) were loaded using a universal testing machine. Failure modes and compositions were evaluated by SEM. The statistical analyses of MTBS were performed by two-way ANOVA and Dunnett's test at ${\alpha}=.05$. RESULTS. Surface treatments and brands had effects on the MTBS without an interaction between these two factors. For SR Nexco, the MTBSs of SB and SB+SI group were significantly higher than that of SB+UL. For Ceramage, the MTBSs of SB and SB+SI were significantly higher than that of SB+UL. The mean MTBS of the Ceramage specimens was significantly higher than that of SR Nexco for all surface treatments. CONCLUSION. Sandblasting with or without silane application could improve the bond strengths of repaired indirect resin composites to a conventional direct resin composite.
Purpose The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of social capitals on organizational knowledge sharing characteristics and individual innovation activities in community of practice (CoP) of manufacturing company. Design/methodology/approach For this purpose, we divide social capitals as three dimensions, i.e. structural, relational, and cognitive dimension. Structural dimension also consists of closure and Brokerage. Relational social capital is defined as trust about colleagues, superior authorities, and organization. Then, cognitive social capital is defined as a shared understanding among individuals, such as a shared language and codes within CoP. Knowledge Sharing is defined as quantity and quality of shared knowledge. We also defines the cause and effect relationships among social capitals, organizational knowledge sharing characteristics, and individual innovation activities in CoP of manufacturing company as follows. The social capitals will have positive effects on quality of shared knowledge. Then the quality of shared knowledge will have positive effects on the individual innovation activities. This paper tested the validity of these hypothesized casual effects and the sub-hypothesized causal relationships. For the purpose, we used the Partial Least Squares (PLS) for analyzing the causal relationships. Findings Our empirical results show that social capitals of CoP mostly have effects on organizational knowledge sharing characteristics (quantity and quality of shared knowledge) and knowledge sharing activities also have effects on individual innovative activities in the workplace. In this study, these result have a significant implication that a private company will be able to gain organizational innovative performance much better by strengthening CoP supporting activities.

Three kinds of tight skirts, slim type, straight type, and semi-tight type were investigated to obtain necessary information about the size of the back slit. Fourteen college students put on these experimental clothes and walked on the flat floor, going up and down the stairs. The dimensions of the back slit were measured by width and length. The stride length was taken from the record of footprints of walking. The correlation between the body measurement, stride length and the size of the back slit was studied. As a result of this experiment, the findings are as follows: 1. The size of the back slits differed from each skirt type at the level of p<0.001. In the case of walking on the floor, the average dimension of the back slit was 14.0 cm long 5.0 cm wide for the slim type,9.5 cm long 2.8 cm wide for the straight type and 2.1 cm long 0.5 cm wide for the semi-tight type. 2. In the case of walking on the stairways, the average dimension of the back slit was 16.0 cm long 5.8 cm wide for the slim type, 12.4 cm long 3.9 cm wide for the straight type and 3.1 cm long 1.1 cm wide for the semi-tight type. 3. The correlation between the height (stature, waist height, knee height) and the size of back slit was 0.3 to 0.6. The correlation between the girth (waist, hip) and the size of back slit was 0.3 to -0.5. 4. The correlation between the stride length and the size of back slit was 0.76 for the slim skirt, 0.56 for the straight skirt, 0.28 for the semitight skirt.
This is to study the accuracy of the actual size according to the TOD(table object distance; TOD) change when measuring blood vessels using angiography equipment, and to help the optimal selection of the device used accordingly. Balls similar to the size of common vessels were calibrated with TOD using 30 mm, 20 mm, 10 mm, 5 mm and acrylic phantoms, catheter calibration from 0 cm to 10 cm, 20 cm and 30 cm, respectively. It was measured whether there was a change in the measured value according to the change. The equipment used was GE Innova 3131 IQ equipment, and the image reconstruction method was GE AW4.7 post processing program. Two radiotechnologists were scanned three times by catheter calibration method and 3DRA(3dimension rotational angiography; 3DRA) volume rendering method. The independent sample T-test showed 0.981 (p> 0.05) to verify the significance between the two observers. As a result, in case of catheter calibration, the error rate at TOD 0 mm and 10 mm is within ± 10%, but when the TOD is changed to 20 mm and 50 mm respectively, the tolerance is ± 10% except for 30 mm ball exceeded. On the other hand, 3DRA was included within the tolerance range of ± 10% overall even when the TOD was changed from 0 mm to 50 mm. In the catheter calibration method, the larger the TOD, the larger the error range, and the 3DRA method was able to measure vascular vessels accurately close to the actual measurement without any consideration of the TOD.
Fractal geometry has become one of prospective research approaches as the complex structure of natural entities is not easily characterized by traditional Euclidean geometry. With the fractal geometry, we can better decipher the complex structure and identify natural and anthropogenic agents of landscape patterns occurring at different spatial scales. The usefulness of fractal, however, has not been fully appreciated among Korean academic societies, especially in ecological and limnological fields. We attempt to address three points in this study. First, we introduce the concept and dimension of fractal and review relevant research approaches, especially with respect to ecological and limnological phenomena. Second, we explore possible applications of fractal to some aspects of geography and land use characteristics in South Korea. For the analyses of fractal dimensions, we used data published in other studies previously and collected for this study. Data were analyzed by a perimeter/area method of fractal dimension for the spatial distribution of global solar radiation and leaf area index, and the movement of wild boars in forested landscapes of mid-eastern Korea. The same approach was also applied to the water channel of a hypothetical river and the shape of reservoirs in Yongin, Kyunggi Province. Finally, we discuss the results and key issues to consider when a fractal approach is employed in ecology and limnology.

This paper aims to compare the scenic images of four ancient Chinese cities including Lijiang, Pingyao, Huizhou and Langzhong, so as to provide specific development strategies for the ancient cities. In this paper, the ancient cities' scenic images are divided into three sub-indexes and eight evaluation dimensions. Based on this, the study first uses Python software to collect tourists' online comments on the four ancient cities. Then, the social network analysis method is used to build a high-frequency keywords matrix of tourist comments and the R language is used to generate a visual network graph. After this, the entropy weight method is used to determine the weights and values of eight evaluation dimensions. Finally, the tourists' overall satisfaction indexes of the four ancient cities are calculated accordingly. The results show that (1) the overall satisfaction of Lijiang is the highest, while that of Huizhou is the lowest; (2) from the weight of each evaluation dimension, it can be seen that tourists care more about the national culture and historical culture; (3) from tourists' satisfaction index on each evaluation dimension of the four ancient cities, we can find that the four ancient cities has their own advantages and disadvantages in tourism development. (4) local tourism-related institutions should strengthen their advantages and improve their deficiencies so as to enhance tourists' overall image of the ancient city.
The purpose of this study was to find out taxonomic characteristics of objectives infered from questions of summative evaluation by analyzing those objectives with Bloom's revised taxonomy of educational objectives. 1,711 questions of midterm and final examinations collected from 25 middle schools were analyzed to classify objective of each question. The major findings of the study were as follows: first, from the analysis of objectives in the knowledge dimension, the assessment of factual knowledge was most prevailing(67.6%) in the biology summative evaluation. In the cognitive process dimension, memory assessment was most dominant(76.1%). Thus, the main objectives of evaluation leaned toward particular classes in the Bloom's revised taxonomy, which was different from the findings of earlier studies on the weights of evaluation areas. Second, the level of the objectives should be determined in consideration of the grade of middle schoolers, as their cognitive level improves with grade. In fact, however, there was no difference among three grades in characteristics of objective taxonomy.

In this paper, we propose a novel feature extraction method for face recognition, based on Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT), Energy Probability (EP), and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA). We define an energy probability as magnitude of effective information and it is used to create a frequency mask in OCT domain. The feature extraction method consists of three steps; i) the spatial domain of face images is transformed into the frequency domain called OCT domain; ii) energy property is applied on DCT domain that acquire from face image for the purpose of dimension reduction of data and optimization of valid information; iii) in order to obtain the most significant and invariant feature of face images, LDA is applied to the data extracted using frequency mask. In experiments, the recognition rate is 96.8% in ETRI database and 100% in ORL database. The proposed method has been shown improvements on the dimension reduction of feature space and the face recognition over the previously proposed methods.
