사상체질유형과 ACE(angiotensin converting enzyme) 유전자 Type(polymorphism)과의 상관관계 (Relationship Between The Sasang Constitution and Ace Polymophism)

  • Sasang Constitutional Medicine focuses on the different constitutional manifestations of the individual's nature and emotions. The nature and emotions drive the ascending and descending of Qi in the body. And this dynamics of the Qi's ascent and descent shapes the different types of structures, functions and temperaments. Although Sasang Constitutional Medicine has many advantages, its diagnosis of the constitution still depends on the doctors' own idea and has no objective identification. So many doctors in Korea have been trying to solve this problem. Recently, there are several efforts to find out the relationship between genetic information and constitution. By the way, May, 1998 there is a astonishing report about the gene which determines the human performance, that is ACE(angiotensin converting enzyme). And it suggests that the I allele was associated with improved endurance performance. ACE has three genotype including II, ID and DD. "I" means insertion and "D" means deletion. We determined the type of the Sasang constitution with QSCCII questionaire and the one's ACE genotype with PCR of the 127 people and we discovered the relationship between the constitution and the ACE genotype. The result is as follow. Among 39 people who have the II genotype, 7(18%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 9(23.1%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 23(59%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). Among 62 people who have the ID genotype, 18(29%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 21(33.9%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 23(37.1%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). Among 26 people who have DD genotype, 11(42.3%) belong to Taeum(Taiyin), 4(15.4%) belong to Soyang(Shaoyang) and 11(42.3%) belong to Soeum(Shaoyin). This data indicates that there are implicable relationship between the Sasang constitution and ACE genotype. Especially people who have II genotype have much possibility to be a Soeum(Shaoyin) person (59%) and Soyang(Shaoyang) person have less possibility to have DD genotype (15.4%). With this conclusion, we suggest further study of relationship between the Sasang constitution and ACE genotype and we think that other polymorphism can be a candidate of the partner of Sasang constitution.

영주댐 유사조절지 상류의 용존유기물 (Dissolved Organic Matter) 특성과 물리·화학 및 생물학적 환경 요인과의 연관성 연구 (A Study on the Dynamics of Dissolved Organic Matter Associated with Ambient Biophysicochemical Factors in the Sediment Control Dam (Lake Youngju))

  • 유사조절지는 하천 하류로 이동하는 모래 등을 조절하기 위해 설치된 인공 횡단구조물로, 하천의 유황을 변화시켜 수체 내 용존유기물질 변화에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 내성천 상류의 영주댐 유사조절지를 대상으로 3차원 형광 EEM (Excitation-Emission Matrix) 및 PARAFAC 분석(Parallel Factor Analysis) 기법을 통해 수중 용존유기물의 주요 성분을 분석한 결과, 4개의 휴믹 유사계열 성분(C1-C3, C5)과 3개의 단백질-트립토판 유사계열 성분(C2, C6-C7)이 검출되었으며 이 중 내·외부로부터 기원된 휴믹계물질(C1-C3)이 주를 이루는 것으로 나타났다. 유기물 성분의 총량과 성분별 조성비는 유광층 내 광량에 따른 수심별 차이를 보이지 않았다. 영주댐 유사조절지에서는 유입된 외부 유기물이 지속적으로 분해되어 내부 유기물로 전환되며 이로 인해 유기물 지수는 조사기간 중 내부 기원 유기물의 우점을 나타냈다. 수체 내 내부 기원 유기물의 증가는 식물플랑크톤 현존량, 특히 남조류의 상대풍부도 및 박테리아와 윤충류 현존량의 증가와 연동되는 경향을 보여 수체 내 부영양화로 인한 녹조 발생은 미생물 먹이망 활성화와 밀접한 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 수중 유기물 특성에 대한 연구는 물리·화학적 측면에서의 수질 관리뿐만 아니라 생물학적 환경 요인과의 관계 분석을 통해 동·식물플랑크톤을 포함한 미생물 먹이망을 통한 물질 순환 이해에도 중요한 것으로 사료된다.

소형 잉어과 어류의 PIT tag 적용을 위한 생존율 평가 (Survival Rate on the Small Cyprinidae by PIT Tagging Application)

  • Passive integrated transponder (PIT) telemetry는 어류의 개체군 동태와 군집 구조, 이동을 연구하는데 유용하게 사용되는 방법으로 가볍고 크기가 작기 때문에 한국에 서식하는 소형 어류(TL<100 mm)의 연구에도 적용이 가능하다. 본 연구에서는 PIT tag을 소형 잉어과 어류에 삽입한 후 생존율을 파악하여 tag의 적용성과 활용 가능성을 타진하였다. 생존율 실험에 사용된 어류는 모두 잉어과 어류 4종으로 Carassius gibelio langsdorfi (n=34, 체장: $91.9{\pm}0.9mm$, 체중: $21.2{\pm}0.9g$),Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (n=16, 체장: $75.1{\pm}0.9mm$, 체중: $6.0{\pm}0.2g$), Pseudorasbora parva (n=30, 체장: $51.4{\pm}1.1mm$, 체중: $2.7{\pm}0.2g$)와 Phoxinus phoxinus (n=37, 체장: $70.6{\pm}1.4mm$, 체중: $8.2{\pm}0.5g$)이며, 1년생 이하의 작은 개체들만 이용하였다. 실험에 사용된 tag은 소형 (길이 11.0 mm, 반경 2.1 mm, 무게 0.088 g), 중형 (길이 20 mm, 반경 3.5 mm, 무게 0.102 g), 대형(길이 30 mm, 반경 3.5 mm, 무게 0.298 g)의 3종류를 사용하였다. 어류 복강에 tag을 삽입한지 30일 이후 실험에 사용된 총 117개체의 생존율은 58.1%였다 (대형, 50.0%; 중형, 57.5%; 소형, 61.4%). Tag의 크기에 따라 생존율은 다양하였는데 이는 실험에 사용된 개체마다 복강의 크기다 달랐기 때문이다. 또한 외과적 수술과정에서 내부 장기의 손상으로 생존율이 감소하였을 것으로 판단되었다. 본 실험결과 국내에 서식하고 있는 소형 담수어류에도 PIT tag 적용이 가능할 것으로 사료되었으며 이후 현장에서 적용한다면 어류 생태 연구에 있어 효율적일 것으로 판단된다.

  • 본 논문은 취미의 자발적인 도야가 어떻게 가능하고, 도야된 취미를 갖는 것이 왜 성품의 교화와 문화 발전을 위해 필요한지 그 이유를 밝힌다. 이는 취미가 자신의 판정을 항상 '쾌'로 반성하는 것과 관련이 있다. 취미는 자신의 판정의 타당성을 검사할 때마다 보편타당한 근거를 발견하는데, 이러한 '발견의 기쁨'이 취미를 자발적으로 도야하게 만드는 것이다. 도덕적 성품을 갖기 위해서는 자신의 행위의 도덕성을 스스로 평가해 보는 훈련이 필요하고, 시대를 대표해 계승할 만한 작품을 선별하기 위해서는 높은 안목이 필요하다. 그러나 우리는 작품의 미를 평가하면서 이러한 자율적 사고를 즐겁게 습관화할 수 있다. 본론에서는 이 같은 사실을 칸트가 <연역>에서 제시한 세 가지 부정적 취미판단의 사례를 통해 규명하려고 한다. 칸트에 따르면 부정적 취미판단은 현재 아름다운 작품이 불쾌감을 준다는 뜻이지만, 이를 통해 주장하는 것은 취미가 도야되었다는 것이다. 필자는 세 가지 사례에서 드러난 취미의 반성 방식을 '버티기', '결함 지적하기', '스스로 번복하기'라는 도야방식으로 정식화한다.(2장) 그리고 이를 통해 이러한 취미의 도야 방식은 이성이 도덕적 관심을 갖도록 자극함으로써 인성의 교화에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 점에서(3장) 그리고 문화 계승의 산물을 취미가 직접 심사한다는 점에서 취미의 도야가 필요함을 역설한다.(4장) 본론 마지막 장에서는 이것이 어떻게 가능한지를 규명하기 위해, 취미의 반성방식을 좀 더 근원적으로 탐색해본다.(5장) 특별히 실러의 '유희충동' 개념을 빌려 그 이유를 밝히는데, 그의 설명은 취미의 발견의 기쁨이 주는 역동성을 이해하는데 도움을 주기 때문이다. 취미는 대립하는 마음의 활동에서 서로의 활동을 '추동'하는 근거를 발견하고, 이러한 자기 활동에 스스로 고무되는 특징이 있다. 말하자면 취미는 작품이 불만족스러운 상황에서도 유희충동을 '만들어내기' 때문에, 즐겁게 앞의 두 과제를 감당하도록 마음을 촉진하는 것이다. 결론에서는 그런 의미에서 취미에 의한 유희충동은 창작을 통해 극대화된다고 보고, 창작하는 예술가처럼 이를 직접 체험할 수 있어야 함을 밝힌다.(6장)

전주 시민의 일상사와 자기의식 『혼불』과 공유지(Commons)의 사례 (The Daily History and Self-consciousness of Jeonju Citizens: Two Examples of Reading Groups)

  • 본고는 전주 시민들의 활동에 대한 체험 및 관찰 보고이다. 이를 위해 시민들의 당대사이자 '작은 사람들(kleine Leute)'의 일상사(Alltagsgeschichite)를 보여주는 일기, 단체카톡방, 메모, 인터뷰 등 텍스트 또는 본디지털(born-digital) 자료를 활용하였다. 이들 시민 모임은 독서모임이자, 등산, 영화 같은 취미도 함께 즐기고 있다. 회원은 평범한 동네 사람들이다. 한 팀은 최명희(崔明姬)의 《혼불》을 약 1년 반 동안 읽으면서 답사를 겸하였고, 또 한 팀은 '공유지(commons)'를 주제로 몇 권의 책을 읽으며 답사, 전시나 영화를 함께 보고 누렸다. 본문은 모두 세 부분 구성하였다. 첫째, 지역민의 일상사를 살필 수 있는 방법과 관점을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 일상사의 전망과 이론의 가능성을 포착한 포이케르트(Detlev Peukert)와 뤼트케(Alf Lüdtke), 하부정치에 통찰력을 제공한 스콧(James C. Scot)의 견해를 검토하였다. 전주 시민들의 활동을 관찰할 수 있는 일상사 연구의 관점과 방법을 찾기 위해서였다. 이를 토대로, 둘째, 《혼불》 모임의 경험을 살폈다. 코비드(Covid)19와 대결하는 시기에 이루어진 《혼불》 읽기는 강렬한 지역성과 연관되어 시작했다. '지역이 낳은 위대한 작가'에 대한 비판이 불편했던 마음을 내려놓으면서, 회원들의 비판의식은 《혼불》 3권 이후 드러나고 6권 이후 두드러졌다. 특정한 형태의 공감(상심, Betroffenheit)에 고착되기보다 역동성을 택하는 시민들의 자기의식(고집, 아집, Eigensinn)의 성격을 보여주는 것으로 보였다. 지역사의 서술과 연구에서 맞닥뜨릴 난점이자 희망을 동시에 보여주었다고 생각한다. 셋째, 공유지를 주제로 모인 시민들을 관찰하였다. 이 모임은 전주 지역 시민들의 하부정치(infra-politics) 역량의 실제와 축적 과정을 보여주었다. 공유지 읽기는 《혼불》에 비해 지역 시민으로서의 '마음 고생'을 겪지 않았다. 그보다 사유 재산의 이데올로기 속에서 살면서도, 모임이 진행됨에 따라 공유지에 대한 인식이 정교해지고 주체적으로 이슈와 논의를 서로 공유하였고, 그 실천과 문제의식을 통해 풍부한 은닉 대본(hidden transcript)을 축적해갔다. 현대의 일상은 자본주의 시대와 떼어서 생각하기 어렵다. 더 근본적으로 인간이 즐기거나 고통을 당하는 것은 일상 속에서, 지금 여기에서이다. 모든 역사는 지금 여기 있는 내 몸을 거친다. 이것이 일상사의 보편성이다. 일상을 살면서 동시에 비판의 거리를 유지하는 것은 일상사를 만드는 시민의 역량에 달려 있다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The correlation between glucose concentration and parameters was the best at 610nm. 30535 T00401030535 ^x Radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumors were grown on the flanks of C3H mice. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. And the surface charge density (or the number of ionizable functional groups) of the microspheres synthesized by "two stage shot growth method" was 6~13 times higher than that of the microspheres synthesized by conventional seeded batch copolymerization. As a previous step for biomedical application, adsorption experiments of bovine albumin on microspheres were carried out under various conditions. The maximum adsorbed amount was obtained in the neighborhood of pH 4.5. Isoelectric point of bovine albumin is pH 5.0, so experimental result shows that it shifted to acid area. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. To use as the structural matrix of the composite, collagen was purified from human umbilical cord. The obtained collagen was treated by pepsin to remove telopeptides, and finally, the immune-free atelocollagen was produced: The cross linked atelocollagen was highly resistant to the collagenase induced collagenolysis. We propose a simple adaptive algorithm to increase capability of noise cancelation in QRS complex detection with two stage adaptive filter.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer.
