애견 더미 개발 (Development of Pet Dog's Dummy)

  • The purpose of this study is to make an ideal dummy for adult Maltese with proper investigation of its character and direct measurement of dog body-shape. The results of the study are as follows; First, there were 6 factors to affect the characteristics of Maltese body in the analysis, which are size of body, leg shape, chest shape, leg thickness, body length, length between fore-legs. In the cluster analysis with the 6 factors there were two types of Maltese body. Type 1 has body characteristics with large body, thick leg, and small distance between front legs. Type 2 has average size of all factors including body size, leg thickness, and length between fore-legs. Second, type 2 was selected as a representative one to make a dummy reflected body shape of characteristics because it took 67.71% from entire considered factors and has average value in the measured size. The first dummy pattern was planned by copying the surface area of the representative body shape with the method of surgical tape. A dummy of single body with trunk and legs was made using 30's cotton cloth, polyester inside batting, compressed form PVC and metallic wire on the joint of trunk and legs to support dummy shape. The second pattern was made by correcting size difference of the pattern and adding the pattern of neck covering plate, metal magnetic button was inserted on the center of joint area of trunk and legs to make detachable legs for easy slip on and off the pet's wear.

후판의 Drill가공에 있어서 Burr의 생성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Burr Formation in Drilling a Thick Plate)

  • The burr worsens the accuracy of a workpiece and decreases a lot of pro- ductivity because it takes so much time and efforts to remove it. In this paper, the height, thickness and size of a drilling burr were derived from the drilling variables of drill diameter, chisel edge angle, web rate =($\Frac{2{\times}\;web\;thickness}{drill\;dia}$) and yielding stress of the workpiece as wel as feed, point angle and helix angle. The theoretical and experimental values of drilling thrust, torque and burr size of the testpiece were analyzed with the method of numerical analysis in a standard drilling condition. The order of choosing the drilling variables for the purpose of controlling the burr size was dealt in this paper with burr forming ratio. The results are as follows: (1) The drill diameter forms 42 percents feed 25 percents point angle 23 percents and web rate, chisel edge angle and gelix angle 5 percents of the partial differential slope of drilling thrust within the usual available ranges of drilling variables. (2) The drill diameter forms 55 percents feed 26 percents web rate 9 percents and chisel edge angle, point angle and helix angle 10 percents of the par- tial differential slope of drilling torque in the usual available ranges of drilling variables. (3) About 70 percents of the burr size can be controlled by feed, 29 percents by web rate in the case of a fixed diameter. It is recommended drilling10 variables to be chosen in the order of feed, web rate, drill diameter, point angle, chisel edge angle and helix angle so as to control the burr size effectively.

  • 최근 건설되는 강교량은 지간의 장대화 및 교량으로서의 기능은 물론이고 외적 조형미, 유지관리, 공사기간과 수명주기 비용 등을고려한 구조적 단순함을 요한다. 이러한 요구를 충족시키기 위해 극후판이나 TMCP 강과 같은 고성능 강의 사용이 요구된다. TMCP (Thermo-Mechanical Control Proces)법에 의해 제조되는 TMCP 강은 탄소당량이 적고, 조직이 미세하며, 강도 및 인성이 좋다. 최근에는 인장강도 60MPa급의 고강도 TMCP 강인 SM570-TMC 강이 개발되어 토목구조물에 일부 적용되고 있으며, 점차 그 영역을 확장하려는 추세에 있다. 하지만 이러한 고강도 TMCP 강을 강구조물에 적용하기 위해서는 그 재료적 특성뿐만 아니라 용접 시 발생하는 접합부의 역학적 특징을 명확히 할 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 고온인장실험을 통해서 SM570-TMC 강의 고온시의 기 계적 특성을 조사하였고, 이를 잔류응력 특징을 명확히 하였다.

  • 율리신-이바노브 항복 조건을 이용하여 4절점 순수변위 준적합 쉘요소의 정식화를 제안하였다. 기하강성 행렬은 그린 변형률 텐서를 이용하여 휨변형률 및 전단변형률도 기하강성행렬에 고려되었다. 그 결과 접선강성행렬의 해석적인 적분으로 비선형 해석시 매우 효율적으로 계산이 되고 있다. 이 정식은 변형률 경화의 이바노브-유리신 항복조건을 이용하여 재료 비선형 해석시에도 쉽게 적분이 된다. 즉 두께 방향의 적층 적분을 하지 않는 율리신-이바노브의 정식은 대규모의 쉘 구조에도 계산상 아주 적합하다. 검증된 수치 예제에서 만족스러운 결과를 보여주고 있다.

Ten Years of Results of Modified Frontalis Muscle Transfer for the Correction of Blepharoptosis

  • Background Conventional frontalis transfer may cause a range of complications. In order to overcome complications, we made modifications to the surgical technique, and compared the outcomes of patients who underwent conventional frontalis transfer with those of patients who underwent modified frontalis transfer. Methods We conducted a retrospective study of 48 patients (78 eyes) who underwent conventional frontalis transfer between 1991 and 2003 (group A) and 67 patients (107 eyes) who underwent modified frontalis transfer between 2004 and 2014 (group B). The frontalis transfer procedures were modified conform to the following principles. The tip of the frontalis muscle flap included soft tissue that was as thick as possible and the soft tissue on the tarsal plate was removed to the greatest extent possible. A double fold was created in cases of unilateral ptosis. In order to evaluate the objective effects of modification, preoperative and postoperative values of the marginal distance reflex 1 (MRD1), the corneal exposure area, and the decrease in eyebrow height were compared between the two groups. Results In group A, patients showed an improvement of 1.19 mm in the MRD1, a 6.31% improvement in the corneal exposure area, and a 7.82 mm decrease in eyebrow height. In group B, patients showed an improvement of 2.17 mm in the MRD1, an 8.39% improvement in the corneal exposure area, and an 11.54 mm decrease in eyebrow height. The improvements in group B were significantly greater than those in group A. Conclusions Modified frontalis transfer showed better results than the conventional procedure and provided satisfactory outcomes.

단순만곡형과 슈퍼-V형 전개판의 유체역학적 성능에 관한 모형실험 (A Model Experiment on the Hydrodynamic Characteristics of the Simple Camber and the Super-V Otter Board)

  • 단순만곡형과 Super-V형 전개판의 성능을 비교하기 위하여 모형실험을 실시하였다. 모형전개판은 두께 1mm되는 철판으로써 제작하였으며, 단순만곡형은 만곡도 $12\%$, 평면투영면적 $432cm^2$되게, Super V형은 횡단면의 양곡도가 어디서나 $12\%$되고 평면 투영면적은 $436cm^2$되게 하였다. 실험은 측정의 결과, 단순만곡형은 최대 유교진행각도가 $25^{\circ}$이고, 그 때의 전개력계수는 1.47, 항력계수는 0.42이며, Super-V형은 그것이 각각 $20^{\circ},\;1.40,\;0.40$으로서 유체역학적성능은 단순만곡형이 다소 우수하다고 판단된다.

  • East Parts of Bangladesh have been benifited by low cost energy generated by domestic natural gas but West parts where energy generated by imported fuel. Bangladesh Government authority has very much concerned to transmit the low cost electricity to the West from the East for past several years. To solve such concerns, cross-country 230kv double circuits Power transmission line was proposed, however there was a big obstacle for the realization of this line to cross the Jamuna river which has 12 km long width with a deep muddy river bed. A consultant engineering firm named Merz-Mclellan anyway finalized this plan and a world-wide bid was announced on June 31, 1979. Due to the expected difficulty to construct the towers on sea like area, only three construction groups have participated. including a Korean joint venture organization of Samsung-Korean Developement corporation-Kolon Electric Machinery company. After 3 months bid evaluation, contract was awarded to Korean Consosium and KEM Co was in charge of designing steel towers with anchor bolts and base plates beside to electrical engineering field. Then KEM Co have faced and over-comed many unenpected technical difficulties such as forced eccentricity joint on base plate, distorsion issue of 60mm thick plates welding, threading anchor bolts, tad heat treatment of some anchor bolts, disagreement from Consultant Engineer on multiplying factor of leg stresses for 45$^{\circ}$ wind and on reducing O.L.F for wind loads on cables for such 1220km long spans. After spending two years long period for designing and engineering towers, base plates, and anchor bolts, first shipment of tower was finally realized on Nov. 8, 1981 and on the other hand KDD has proceeded concrete caisson work on schedule at Jamuna river site and expected to complete tower erection and stringing of cables within this year of 1982 which was original completion target.

지그재그 모델에 의한 복합샌드위치평판의 해석 (Analysis of Sandwich Plates with Composite Facings based on Zig-Zag Models)

  • 본 연구는 지그재그모델에 근거하여 두꺼운 금속, 폴리머 복합재료 면재의 전단변형 효과를 고려해서 샌드위치평판의 휨해석 지배방정식을 유도하였으며, 판의 네 변은 단순지지 되어 있다고 가정하였다. 역대칭 적층면재의 화이버 각도와 면재의 적층수를 변화시켜가며 휨해석의 결과를 나타내었다. 해석방법의 정확성을 위해 일반 적층판이론의 값과 비교를 하여 검증을 하였다. 그 결과 적층판이론으로 구한 값보다 처짐에 있어서 더 큰 값을 나타냄을 알 수 있었는데, 그 이유로는 본 해석방법이 면재, 심재 모두 휨강성과 전단변형을 고려하였기 때문이라 사료된다. 강재, 폴리머 복합면재를 갖는 샌드위치평판을 설계할 때 제시된 정보를 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.

Babesia gibsoni의 적혈구내 배양법과 진단법 개발에 관한 연구 2. Babesia gibsoni의 적혈구내 배양 (Intraerythrocytic culture and development of serological diagnostic tests of Babesia gibsoni 2. Intraeryrhrocytic culture of Babesia gibsoni by microaerophilous stationary phase(MASP))

  • This study was conducted to isolate the protozoan parasite Babesia gibsoni by intraerythrocytic culture method of micoraerophilous stationary phase(MASP) and evaluate the possibility of application for the detection of B gibsoni in canine babesiosis. Also, indirect fluorescent antibody test(IFAT) and thick blood smear(giemsa stain), direct light microscopy (DLM), as control diagnostic tests, were conducted to compare diagnostic effects between MASP, IFAT and DLM. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows. The protozoan parasite B gibsoni multiplied in 24-well polystyrene plate containing 1.2ml of canine red blood cell suspension in RPMI 1640 medium(pH 7.0) which is contained 20~40% normal canine serum(NCS) under the MASP condition of 5% $CO_2$ and 95% air at $37^{\circ}C$ incubator. Under the above MASP culturing system the percentage of parasitized erythrocytes(PPE) after incubation for 9 days reached the peak. The levels of PPE in MASP culture were shown more higher by exchanging the medium at 24 hour intervals. The parasite were purely isolated from MASP culture of canine red blood cells collected from dogs(pit bullterrier) infected with B gibsoni naturally. Among the total of 83 heads of pit bullterrier blood samples the positive rate was 32 heads(38.5%) in DLM, 45 heads(54.2%) in IFAT and 42 heads(50.6) in MASP culture. In negative cases of IFAT and DLM the isolation rates of B gibsoni by MASP culture were 16 heads(42.1%) of 38 heads and 16 heads(28.6%)% of 56 heads, respectively. From this study it was suggested that MASP culture method by RPMI 1640 medium was a reliable and useful diagnostic test for the diagnosis of B gibsoni infections in canine babesiosis.

유연하고 얇은 알루미늄 포일을 사용한 다공성 알루미나 막 제작 (Fabrication of Porous Aluminum Oxide Using Flexible Thin Aluminum Foils)

  • 유연하고 얇은 0.025 mm와 0.2 mm의 두께를 지닌 알루미늄 포일을 사용하여 다공성 알루미나 막을 제작하였다. 알루미늄 포일들은 에탄올/과염소산 용액에서 전해연마하여 표면처리를 하였으며, 0.3 M의 옥살산 용액 안에서 양극산화 시켰다. 양극산학 시용액의 온도는 $9^{\circ}C$로 유지시켰으며, 전극에 가해주는 전압을 0.4와 40 V 사이에서 변화시킨 후, 형성된 알루미나 막의 표면을 주사전자현미경으로 관찰하였다. 관찰 결과, 장시간의 양극 산화 시 사용되는 전압의 크기가 1 V 이상일 경우 강한 전기분해 반응으로 인해 생성된 산화막 표면이 파괴되어 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 반면 1 V 이하로 처리할 경우, 장시간에 걸쳐 안정적으로 양극산화시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이 실험을 통해 얇은 알루미늄 포일의 경우 두꺼운 알루미늄 판과 달리 장시간의 양극산화를 통해 다공성 알루미나 막을 형성하기 위해선 1 V 이하의 낮은 전압이 요구되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
