특허분석에 의한 수전해 수소제조 기술동향 (Technology Trend for Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Production by the Patent Analysis)

  • There are several methods for the hydrogen production such as steam reforming of natural gas, photocatalytic method, biological method, electrolysis and thermochemical method, etc. These days it has been widely studying for the hydrogen production method having low hydrogen production cost and high efficiency. In this paper, patents in the hydrogen production by water electrolysis were gathered and analyzed. The search range was limited in the open patents of USA(US), European Union(EP), Japan(JP), and Korea(KR) from 1996 to 2005. Patents were gathered by using key-words searching and filtered by filtering criteria. The trends of the patents was analyzed by the years, countries, companies, and technologies.

Patents were gathered by using key-words searching and filtered by filtering criteria. The patent application trend was analyzed by the years, countries, companies, and technologies.

결과분석을 이용한 MEK-PO 제조공장의 폭발사고 사례연구 (A Case Study of Explosion Accident at MEK-PO Factory using Consequence Analysis)

  • In this case study, results of the explosion accident at MEK-PO factory were analysed by using the consequence analysis of quantitative hazard assessment and the explosion energy, the burst pressure of vessel, and overpressures at the explosion center and at 300m distance from the explosion center were estimated, respectively. As a result, we found that a cause of accident was the runaway reaction of product(MEK-PO) because of the molecular expansion in vessel and that the possibility of the runaway reaction was classified the mechanical failure(the obstacle of refrigerator or the shutdown valve), design error, and operating error by lack of thermochemical knowledge. Also, the evasive action to prevent accident was suggested.

  • $Ni^{2+}-Faujasite$의 열화학적 안정성을 시차열분석(DTA), 열중량분석(TGA), X선 회절분석(XRD) 및 양자화학적 계산을 통해 고찰하였다. $Ni^{2+}-Faujasite$의 탈수현상은 373-773 K의 온도 구간에서 나타났다. 골격내 T자리를 표현하는 분자모델을 설정하여 전체 에너지와 Wiberg 결합차수를 CNDO/2 분자궤도법을 통해 계산하였다. 계산된 결과는 제올라이트의 결정성 감소가 골격내 Al-O결합의 약화에 직접적으로 연관되어 있음을 나타내었다.

  • A numerical analysis is performed to predict the thermal response and ablation rate for charring or non-charring material which is designed to be used as thermal protection system (TPS). The numerical program composed of in-depth energy balance equation and the aerotherm chemical equilibrium (ACE) program. The ACE program calculates various thermochemical state from ablation products. The developed numerical program is verified by comparing the reported results from literature. The sensitivity tests for input parameters are performed. The thermal behavior of ablating material is mainly affected by density of ablating material, convective heat transfer coefficient and recovery enthalpy of flow field.

  • The magnetic Nd-Fe-B powders were prepared by a thermochemical method, consisting of the processes of spray-drying, debinding, milling, H$_2$-reduction, Ca-reduction, and washing. The optimum process conditions were studied by microstructural and thermal analysis. The resultant Nd-Fe-B powder was spherical with the size of 1 ${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$. Effects of the process parameters of each step on the microstructure of the powders were investigated, and their magnetic properties were evaluated.

  • A stable intercalation complex was formed by adsorption of alcanol (ROH, R; $C_{10}H_2$, $C_{12}H_{25}$, $C_{14}H_{29}$) on the surfaces of Yongil bentonite in which the interlayer cation had been exchanged by n-decylammonium ion $(C_{10}H_{21}NH_3^+)$ The layer charge density calculated from the increaments of basal spacings was 0.34 per unit chemical formula. Thermochemical properties of synthesized $C_{10}H_{21}NH_3^+$ montmorillonite were studied by means of DSC, TGA, DTG, Thermal analysis showed two steps of desoption behavior of $C_{10}H_{21}NH_3^+$ ion namely nonyl $(CH_3(CH_2)_8$ decomposition reaction of 40$0^{\circ}C$ and methyleneammonium decomposition reaction of 78$0^{\circ}C$ The activation energy of nonyl decomposition reaction of $C_{10}H_{21}NH_3^+$ -montmorillonite respectively.

  • In this study, we adopt the point symmetric Gauss-Seidel relaxation algorithm to obtain the steady state solution of the Navier-Stokes equations for the thermal and chemical nonequilibrium flow of air. All of the inviscid, viscous flux Jacobians and thermochemical source Jacobians are included in the implicit part Numerical simulation is performed for the thermal and chemical nonequilibrium flow over blunt body and computational results are presented. The convergence history and CPU time of the present computation are compared with the LU-SGS scheme which employs the approximate Jacobians.

  • The effect of nose radius on aerodynamic heating are investigated by using the Wavier-Stokes code extended to thermochemical nonequilibrium airflow. A spherical blunt body, whose radius varies from 0.003048 m to 0.6096 m, flying at Mach 25 at an altitude of 53.34 km is considered. Comparison of heat flux at stagnation point with the solution of Viscous Shock Layer and Fay-Riddell are made. Obtained result reveals that the flow chemistry for very small radius is nearly frozen, and therefore the contribution of heat flux due to chemical diffusion is smaller than that of translational energy. As the radius becomes larger, the portion of diffusion heat flux becomes greater than translational heat flux and approaches to a constant value.
