재하가열시험에 의한 무내화피복 콘크리트충전 각형강관기둥의 내화성능평가 (Evaluation of Fire Resistance of Unprotected Concrete-filled Rectangular Steel Tubular Columns under Axial Loading)

  • 본 연구에서는 표준화재에 노출된 무피복 콘크리트충전강관(CFT)기둥의 내화성능 및 거동 특성을 파악하고자 화재실험 및 수치해석 연구를 수행하였다. 실험변수로는 기둥높이, 하중비, 단면크기를 고려하였고, 이들이 CFT 기둥의 내화성능에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 단면내 온도변화 및 축변형을 분석하였다. 실험결과 모든 실험체의 강관에서 국부좌굴이 발생, 콘크리트로 하중전이가 일어났고, 이후 콘크리트 압괴로 이어졌다. 이는 CFT 기둥의 전체 휨좌굴과 함께 국부좌굴이 내화설계의 주요 변수로 고려되어야 함을 시사한다. 하중비가 증가할수록 콘크리트저항구간이 줄어들면서 전체적인 내화시간이 감소하였다. 강재한계온도에 근거한 합성부재의 내화성능평가는 실제 하중지지력에 의한 내화시간에 비해 다소 보수적임을 확인하였고, 기존 연구자들의 제안식에 의한 성능예측결과도 실제 내화성능과 비교해볼때 개선의 여지가 있었다. 화재시 CFT 기둥의 내화성능을 예측하기 위하여 유한요소해석을 수행하였고, 실험결과와 비교할 때 신뢰성 있는 예측값을 나타냄을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 실린더 내부가 경사가능재료로 코팅된 두꺼운 벽을 가진 실린더의 겉보기 파괴인성치를 해석한 것이다. 실린더는 내부로부터 반경방향의 단일 모서리 균열이 내재되어 있으며, 균열면과 내면에는 내압을 받고 있는 것으로 가정하였다. 소결온도로부터 냉각 결과 균일한 열팽창계수로 인해 실린더에는 비적합 고유스트레인이 생성되었다. 기존의 연구에서 소개된 응력확대계수 평가법에 기초해 겉보기 파괴인성치를 계산하였다. 본 연구에서는 TiC/$Al_{2}O_{3}$ FGM 코팅된 실린더를 사용하였고 겉보기 파괴인성치의 수치적인 결과를 도식화하였다. 재료분포프로파일, 실린더 벽 두께, 적용온도와 코팅두께등이 겉보기 파괴인치에 미치는 영향이 상세히 조사되었으며, 이러한 모든 인자는 실린더의 겉보기 파괴인성치를 조절하는데 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

관정 시멘팅 재료의 물리역학물성 및 시멘트층의 안정성 분석 (Physical and Mechanical Properties of Cements for Borehole and Stability Analysis of Cement Sheath)

  • 관정의 시멘팅 재료로 사용될 수 있는 두 시멘트 물질(KS-1 보통 포틀랜드, Class G)의 물/고체(고체=시멘트) 중량비와 첨가제인 비산재의 부피함량 변화에 따른 이들 물질들의 물리역학적 물성 변화를 파악하기 위해 실내물리역학실험을 실시하였다. KS-1 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트의 경우 물/고체(고체=시멘트) 중량비를 변화시키며, Class G 시멘트의 경우 물/고체(고체=비산재+시멘트)을 고정한 채 비산재:시멘트의 부피비를 변화시키며 시료를 제작하였다. KS-1 보통 포틀랜드 시멘트의 경우 물/고체 중량비가 증가할수록, Class G 시멘트의 경우 비산재의 함량이 증가할수록, 공극률 증가, 밀도감소, 음파속도(P, S파) 감소. 탄성상수(영율, 포아송비) 감소, 압축 및 인장강도 저하, 열전도도 감소, 비열 증가의 경향을 보였다. 또한 구속압(σ3)의 증가와 비산재 함량의 증가는 재료의 소성파괴거동을 초래하였다. 이 실내실험결과를 이용하여, 여러 주입공 페라미터(케이싱, 시멘트층의 두께, 주입압, 주입공 경사방향 및 경사각, 주입공 심도)등을 변화 시키면서, 시멘트층의 안정성 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 낮은 주입압과 경사정 혹은 수평정에서는 시멘트층이 안정하였으나, 다른 조건에서는 시멘트층에서 주로 인장파괴가 관찰 되었다.

SiOG 공정을 이용한 고 신뢰성 MEMS 자이로스코프 (A High Yield Rate MEMS Gyroscope with a Packaged SiOG Process)

  • MEMS에서 제조 공정 오차 및 외부 응력은 진동형 자이로스코프와 같은 MEMS 소자의 제조 수율에 많은 영향을 미친다. 특히 비연성 진동형 자이로스코프의 경우 감지모드와 구동모드의 주파수 차의 특성은 수율에 직접적인 영향을 미친다. SOI (Silicon-On-Insulator) 공정 및 양극접합 공정으로 패키징된 자이로스코프의 경우, 노칭현상으로 인하여 구조물이 불균일하게 가공되며, 동시에 열팽창계수 차로 인하여 접합된 기판에 큰 휨이 발생한다. 그 결과주파수 차의 분포가 커지고, 동시에 수율은 저하되었다. 이를 개선하기 위하여 SiOG (Silicon On Glass) 기술을 적용하였다. SiOG 공정에서는 접합 후에 기판의 휨을 최소화 하기 위하여 1장의 실리콘 기관과 2장의 유리 기판을 사용하였으며, 노칭을 방지하기 위하여 금속 박막을 사용하였다. 그 결과 노칭 현상이 방지되었으며, 기판의 휨도 감소하였다. 또한 주파수 차의 분포도 매우 균일하게 되었으며, 주파수 차의 편차 또한 개선이 되었다. 그 결과 높은 수율 및 보다 강건한 MEMS 자이로스코프를 개발할 수 있었다.

Al어선 선체용접부의 신형상 개발 및 적용 가능성 검토 (The examination of application possibility and development of new welding joint shape for aluminum alloy)

  • 어선 제작시 어선의 고속화 및 어로작업 등에 의한 내구성을 향상시키기 위해 선각재질이 가볍고, 강도, 화재 및 해수의 부식 등에 뛰어난 재료의 사용이 요구되어지고 있다. 이러한 어선으로서는 크게 FRP어선과 Al어선으로 대별할 수 있다. 그러나 FRP어선은 가볍고 강도는 우수하나 인화성이 높아서 열에 매우 약하고 선박 제작 과정에 있어 인체에 해로운 유해성분이 발생할 뿐만 아니라, 폐선의 경우 산업폐기물로써 환경 오염에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 그런 반면에, Al어선은 FRP어선의 단점을 보완할 수 있는 재료로써, 고강도 및 경량화의 효과를 낼 수 있고, FRP어선보다 인화성이 낮아서 열에 강하고, 내구성이 높아 해수의 부식방지에 뛰어나므로 Al 어선의 개발이 시급한 실정이다. 그러나, 알루미늄 합금은 용접성이 좋지 않고 용접변형 및 균열이 발생하고, 건조 비용이 비싸다는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 Al 합금 접합시의 문제점 해결방안으로 용접이음부의 새로운 형상을 개발하고 개발한 신형상에 대한 역학적 거동을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 먼저 평판 이론을 이용하여 구조부재를 단순화하여 평판, 보강판, 신형상에 대하여 해석함으로써 강도를 비교 검토하고, 이러한 결과를 토대로 자체 개발된 용접열전도 및 용접열응력 수치해석 프로그램을 사용하여 평판과 신형상의 온도분포, 용접잔류응력, 인장, 압축시의 강도를 수치시뮬레이션을 통하여 비교, 검토하였다. 또한, 인장 시험편을 제작하여 실험을 통하여 강도를 비교함으로써 신형상에 대한 적용 가능성 및 역학적 우수성을 입증하고자 하였다.

터보 컴프레셔용 복합재료 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링의 오일 공급 중단 상황에서의 내구성 연구 (Study on the Durability of Composite Tilting Pad Journal Bearing for Turbo Compressor System under Oil-cut Situation)

  • 터보/컴프레셔(Turbo compressor)용 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링(Tilting pad journal bearing)은 고속, 고하중의 주축(Rotor)을 지지하는 역할을 하며, 화이트 메탈(White metal)이 대표적인 소재로 널리 사용되어왔다. 그러나 예기치 않은 윤활유 공급 중단 상황(Oil cut situation) 또는 베어링과 주축 사이에 유막(Oil film)이 제대로 형성되지 않을 경우, 기존의 화이트 메탈 베어링은 융착(Seizure) 현상에 의해 바로 정지하게 되고 주축에 심각한 손상을 유발한다. 이러한 융착 문제를 해결하기 위해 기존의 화이트 메탈에 비해 높은 비강성, 비강도 그리고 뛰어난 마찰 특성(Tribological characteristic)을 가지는 탄소섬유 강화 복합재료(Carbon fiber reinforced composite)가 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링에 사용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 고 내열성 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재료 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링의 오일공급 중단 상황에서의 내구성에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 이를 위해 상온 및 오일공급 중단상황의 고온에서 인장, 압축, 전단 등의 기초적인 복합재료 물성 실험을 진행하였고, 복합재료 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링에 있어 가장 중요한 물성인 층간 계면 강도를 측정하기 위해 Short Beam Shear 실험을 진행 하였다. 오일 공급 중단 상황에서 복합재료 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링의 파손(Failure) 가능성을 알아보기 위해 유한 요소 해석(Finite element analysis)을 진행함으로써 베어링 표면에 가해지는 최대 응력을 도출하였고, 해석 결과와 물성 시험으로부터 측정된 강도 값을 이용하여 Tsai-Wu Failure index를 계산하였다. 해석 결과를 검증하기 위해 산업용 테스트 벤치를 이용하여 탄소섬유/에폭시 복합재료로 제조된 틸팅 패드 저널 베어링의 오일 공급 중단 실험을 진행하였다.

포식성 유입주의 어류에 대한 서식처 적합도 평가 (Predicting Habitat Suitability of Carnivorous Alert Alien Freshwater Fish)

  • 전세계적으로 외래생물의 침입이 생물다양성을 위협하는 것으로 보고되며, 국내외로 외래생물의 유입에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 우리나라 환경부에서는 유입주의 생물 지정을 통해 국내에 유입되었을 때 생태계 피해가 유발될 수 있는 잠재적 외래생물을 관리하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 유입주의 생물로 지정된 포식성 어류인 북방민물꼬치고기 (Esox lucius)와 호주민물대구 (Maccullochella peelii)의 잠재 서식처를 전국 단위로 예측하였다. 서식처 적합도 평가를 위해 EHSM (Ecological Habitat Suitability Model)을 사용하였고, 수온 자료를 입력하여 생리적 서식처 적합도 지수 (Physiological Habitat Suitability; PHS)를 산출하였다. 예측 결과, 두 어류의 PHS는 고온 또는 저온 스트레스의 영향을 크게 받았으며, 이로 인해 서식처 적합도의 지역적 편향이 나타났다. 북방민물꼬치고기는 위도가 높은 한강과 금강 유역을 선호할 것으로 예측되었고, 호주민물대구는 대도시 지역을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 외래어류의 침입 양상이 온도에 대한 선호도의 차이로 인해 상이할 것으로 예상할 수 있다. 향후, 모델의 예측력 향상을 위해 후속 연구가 필요하고, 지속가능한 대책 수립을 위해 기후변화 시나리오를 적용한 미래 예측 연구가 필요하다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. We have used an IBM 486 compatible PC with 16MB main memory, 210 MB hard disk drive, 9 RS-232C port and 24 pin dot printer. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. To use as the structural matrix of the composite, collagen was purified from human umbilical cord. The obtained collagen was treated by pepsin to remove telopeptides, and finally, the immune-free atelocollagen was produced: The cross linked atelocollagen was highly resistant to the collagenase induced collagenolysis. We propose a simple adaptive algorithm to increase capability of noise cancelation in QRS complex detection with two stage adaptive filter.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
