가중 다목적성을 고려한 구조물 응답 제어용 TMD의 RSM 기반 실용적 최적 설계 (RSM-based Practical Optimum Design of TMD for Control of Structural Response Considering Weighted Multiple Objectives)

  • 본 연구는 전산실험을 통해 중규모 건물에 설치한 수동형 TMD의 매개변수에 대한 가중 다목적 최적화 설계를 다루고 있다. MATLAB으로 수치 시뮬레이션 코드를 작성함으로써 지진하중에 대한 동적응답을 파악하였으며 중심합성계획법과 반응표면법으로 구성한 전산실험을 기반으로 하는 가중 다목적 최적화 기법을 적용하여 TMD의 최적 동조 매개변수를 찾고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 10층 건물을 대상으로 El Centro를 벤치마크 지진으로 가진하여 반응모델을 생성하고, AHP를 이용하여 반응변수 사이의 상대적 중요도를 산출한 후 가중다목적최적화 설계를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 방법으로 최적화된 매개변수를 가진 TMD는 지진 응답을 효과적으로 저감하였다. El Centro 지진이 작용하는 경우 RSM 기반 가중 다목적 최적설계방법으로 최적화한 TMD의 진동수 응답과 최상층 평균제곱변위는 비제진시보다 각각 31.6%와 82.3% 향상되었고, 모든 적용 지진에서 기존 설계법보다 동등 또는 이상의 성능을 가진 것으로 확인되었다.

  • 선체는 기본적으로 판부재들의 조합으로 구성되어 있으며 이들중 상당수는 유공판(Perforated plate)이다. 선체에 설치된 유공판으로서는 선체 상갑판 해치(하역시설로 사용), 선저부의 거더와 플로어(중량경감과 선박 건조 및 검사시 통로확보용), 다이어프램(중량경감 및 파이프 관통의 목적)둥이 있다. 이들 유공판에 하중이 작용하면 좌굴과 최종강도 특성이 크게 변화할 뿐만 아니라 수반되는 면내응력도 재 분포하게 되어 심각한 강도문제를 야기 시킬 수 있다. 실적선에서는 유공주위에 스티프너 보강을 통하여 취약한 좌굴강도 보완하고 있으며, 유공을 고려한 최적의 유공보강판 모델을 적용한 좌굴강도 및 최종강도를 파악할 필요성이 대두시 되고 있다. 이와 같은 측면에서 각 조선소에서는 각국 선급들이 제시하는 유공판의 좌굴설계식을 사용하여 강도계산을 하고 있으나 임의의 유공크기에 대찬 좌굴강도 및 최종강도 평가법을 찾기란 매우 어려운 일이다. 본 연구에서는 실선에서 사용중인 유공보강판의 모델을 조사하여 비선형유한요소법을 적용하여 면내 압축하중이 작용하는 경우에 대해서 유공의 크기와 웹 치수를 변화시켜가며, 최종강도 시리즈 해석을 수행하고 압축최종강도에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다.

산청지역에서 파종량 및 질소 시비량에 따른 호밀의 생육과 종실 수량 (Effects of Seeding Rate and Nitrogen Fertilizer Level on Growth and Seed Productivity of Rye Cultivar in Sancheong Province)

  • 국내에서 소비지역에 필요한 호밀 종자를 생산하기 위해 경남지역에 적합한 종자 채종기술을 개발하고자 2013~2015년까지 3개년에 걸쳐 경상남도 산청에서 시험을 실시하였다. 품종은 국내 육성종인 곡우호밀을 사용하였고, 시험구는 파종량 3수준(3, 5, 7 kg 10 a-1), 질소시비량 4수준(0, 3, 6, 9 kg 10 a-1)의 분할구배치법 3반복으로 하였으며, 생육특성과 종실 생산성을 평가하였다. 호밀 종자의 파종량을 3 kg 10 a-1로부터 7 kg 10 a-1로 증가시킴에 따라 설립중이 증가하고 임실률과 1 수립수가 감소하였지만 m2당수수가 증가하여 전체 수량이 증가하는 경향이었다. 그리고 유효경비율, 리터중, 1000립중이 다소 감소하였으나 수량에는 영향이 크지 않았다. 질소 시비량을 무비로부터 9 kg 10 a-1로 증가시킴에 따라 출수기가 늦어지고 도복이 다소 증가하지만, m2당수수와 1수립수가 많아져서 수량이 증가하였다. 그리고 호밀의 종실 수량은 파종량과 질소 시비량 간에 교호작용을 보이지 않았다. 호밀의 종실 수량, 파종용 종자 비용과 질소 과잉 시비에 따른 환경오염, 도복 등을 고려할 때 산청지역에서 호밀 종자생산을 위해 적합한 파종량은 5 kg 10 a-1, 질소 시비량은 3 kg 10 a-1로 추천되었다.

대퇴사두근 유연성 운동이 퇴행성 슬관절염 환자의 기능활동정도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Quadriceps Femoris Flexibility Exercise on the Functional Ability of the Patients with Degenerated Arthritis)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of quadriceps femoris flexibility exercise which would improve the degree of knee flexion range of motion, extension torque, and the activities of daily living (ADL) in elderly subjects with degenerative knee arthritis. Fourteen elderly patients (two men and twelve women) with degenerative knee arthritis participated and had a quadriceps femoris flexibility exercise intervention program in this study. The mean age of the patients was 70.00 years for men and 71.16 years for women. This study carried out the experimental study of one group pretest-posttest design, which evaluated the degree of knee flexion range of motion, extension torque, the ADL ability of the patients before and after applying the exercise intervention for five weeks. The results of this study are as follow: 1. The knee flexion ranges of motion of the patients were measured before and after the intervention and the ranges increased significantly both in the left and right knee flexion range of motion (p < 0.05). 2. The peak torque of the knee muscle, the peak torque/body weight, and average power of the patients showed significant increases in both in the left and right knee after applying the intervention (p < 0.05). 3. The intervention produced a significant reduction in pain of the patients (p < 0.05). Their functional activities of ADL improved significantly compared with before the intervention (p < 0.05). It has been shown that the quadriceps femoris flexibility exercise intervention program increased significantly the knee flexion range of motion, and extension torque, as well as an increase in performance of functional activities of ADL of the patients. Thus, the quadriceps femoris flexibility exercise should be considered as one of the therapeutic exercises for the elderly patients with degenerative knee arthritis applied.

무기계 바인더를 이용한 탄소저감형 흙포장의 성능평가 (Performance Evaluation of Carbon-Reducing Soil Pavement using Inorganic Binder)

  • PURPOSES : This study intends to develop an inorganic soil pavement material using industrial by-products and to evaluate its applicability as a road pavement material. METHODS : In this study, a compressive strength experiment was conducted based on the NaOH solution molarity and water glass content to understand the strength properties of the soil pavement material according to the mixing ratio of alkali activator. In addition, the strength characteristic of the inorganic soil pavement material was analyzed based on the binder content. The performance of the soil pavement was evaluated by conducing an accelerated pavement test and a falling weight deflectometer (FWD) test. RESULTS : As a result of the soil pavement material test based on the mixture ratio of alkali activator, it was identified that the activator that mixed a 10 M NaOH solution to water glass in a 5:5 ratio is appropriate. As a result of the inorganic soil pavement materials test based on the binder content, the strength development increased sharply when the amount of added binder was over 300 kg; this level of binder content satisfied 28 days of 18 MPa of compression strength, which is the standard for existing soil pavement design. According to the measured results of the FWD test, the dynamic k-value did not show a significant difference before or after the accelerated pavement testing. Furthermore, the effective modulus decreased by approximately 50%, compared with the initial effective modulus for pedestrian pavement. CONCLUSIONS : Based on these results, inorganic soil pavement can be applied by changing the mixture proportions according to the use of the pavement, and can be utilized as road pavement from light load roads to access roads.

RUMINAL ACID CONCENTRATIONS OF GOATS FED HAYS AND SILAGES PREPARED FROM ITALIAN RYEGRASS AND ITS PRESSED CAKE

  • From the same harvest of Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum, Lam.), hay(H), wilted silage(WS), pressed cake hay (PCH) and pressed cake silage (PCS) were prepared. These four preserved roughages were restrictedly fed to four goats attached with rumen fistula by $4{\times}4$ Latin square design to determine the effect of different physical and chemical properties of the roughages on the ruminal acid concentrations. Each goat was given a diet at 2% of the body weight daily in dry matter basis by separating into two equal portions. Half was given at 9 AM and the other half at 5 PM. Ruminal pH was reduced to around 5.5 within 30 minutes after feeding PCS and it was recovered above 6 in 1-2 hours after feeding. By feeding WS, ruminal pH was also reduced but never fell below 6. The two hays rather increased ruminal pH after feeding. The reduction of ruminal pH in the silage feedings was due to the high lactic acid content of the silages, because the highest ruminal lactic acid concentration was observed 30 minutes after feeding when the lowest ruminal pH was attained. While the ruminal VFA concentrations became the highest 1-2 hours after feeding. The ruminal acetic acid concentration fluctuated so much that no significant tendency was observed among the four dietary treatments. The ruminal propionic acid concentration was higher in feeding silages reflecting the initial high lactic acid concentration. As the result, acetic/propionic acid ratio was lower in the silage feedings than in hay feedings. Higher ruminal butyric acid concentration was observed in WS than in others.

트럭 Deck Floor Board의 강도향상을 위한 목분복합재의 기계적특성 분석 (Analysis of Mechanical Properties of Wood Flours Composites to Improve the Strength of Truck Deck Floor Boards)

  • The deck floor of a the cargo truck becomesis damaged and aged due to the continuous loading of the loading cargo and external environmental factors. Floor boards made of wood and metal are often used. In the case of wood, the cost is high due to the use of imported wood, and the strength is easily deterioratesd due to environmental factors. In the case of metal materials, the durability is higher than that of wood, but problems are raised due to the effect of major factors that hinder the weight reduction, and the effects of corrosion. In order to replace this stucturestructural design, this study proposed a wood fiber composite using natural raw materials. Woody composites are being used as environmentally and friendly exterior materials with the combined advantages of plastic, and wood,; low cost and low density. However, due to the nature of the woody composites, the properties are differentdiffer depending on the contents of the matrix, reinforcing agent, additives, compatibilizer, etc. In this study, we investigate these problems through analysis of the microstructure and mechanical properties according to proper content and injection molding conditions. As a result, it is considered that the wood deck composite can replaced the current Deck Floor Boardreplace current deck floor boards through continuous continued research and results of this study.

스패어 타이어 웰 부에 설치되는 Type 4 복합재료 압력용기 설계 및 구조해석 (Design and Structural Analysis of Type 4 Composite Pressure Vessel Fitted in Spare Tire Well)

  • Composite pressure vessels made through filament winding are widely used in various fields. Numerous studies regarding composite pressure vessels have been conducted in the automotive industry to improve the space efficiency of trunks as well as the fuel efficiency. Compared with steel liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) vessels used in the conventional LPG vehicles, the use of type 4 composite pressure vessels has advantages in terms of reduction of the weight of vehicles. This study focused on development of type 4 composite pressure vessels that can be installed in the spare tire well. Those type 4 composite pressure vessels are designed with torispherical dome shapes instead of geodecis dome shapes because of the space limitation. To reduce deformation due to the stresses in the axial direction of the vessels, thereby securing the safety of the container, the reinforcing bar concept was applied. A structural analysis software, ABAQUS, confirmed the effect of the reinforcing bar on the axial deformation through the type 4 composite pressure vessel. As a result, the final winding angle of the composite layer was analyzed by applying $26^{\circ}/28^{\circ}/26^{\circ}/28^{\circ}/26^{\circ}/88^{\circ}$ The tensile stress was 939.2 MPa and the compressive stress was 249.3 MPa.

GFRP를 이용한 경량합성바닥의 휨성능에 대한 실험적 평가 (An Experimental Evaluation on Flexural Performance of Light-Weight Void Composite Floor using GFRP)

  • 최근 타워형 아파트구조에 많이 사용되고 있는 무량판 구조시스템을 대신해 층고절감 및 장스팬 구현 그리고 내화성능향상을 목적으로 GFRP를 이용한 경량합성바닥을 개발하였다. GFRP를 이용한 경량합성바닥은 웨브에 개구부를 가지는 비대칭 강재보 하부에 GFRP를 부착하고 슬래브에 경량체를 삽입한 중공합성바닥이다. 이에 개발된 합성바닥의 휨성능을 평가하기 위해 GFRP, 중공률, 웨브의 개구부 등을 변수로 실대 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 GFRP를 이용한 합성보 실험체는 기준 실험체에 비해 휨내력 및 강성 측면에서 10% 높은 성능을 나타냈으며, 구조물이 항복할 때까지 완전합성거동하였다. 항복 이후 웨브개구부 주변의 응력집중현상에 의해 연성이 감소하는 현상이 나타났으며, 최대내력점까지 미끄러짐의 발생은 미소하였다. 내력설계 측면에서는 안전율을 고려해 해석값의 85%를 설계내력으로 평가하는 것이 타당한 것으로 나타났다.

로터리 스웨이징 공정의 점진성형에 의한 중공 드라이브샤프트의 진동모드 및 내구특성 (Vibration Mode and Durability Characteristics of Automotive IDS using Rotary Swaging Process for Incremental Forming)

  • Rotary swaging is one of the incremental forming process which is a chipless process using the reduction of cross-sections of bars, tubes and wires. The TDS(Tube Drive Shaft) of monobloc used in automotive has been developed by the rotary swaging process. The mechanical characteristics of swaged parts such as the hardness, thickness and roughness are also estimated to conduct experimental analyses of rotary swaging process with the materials of 34Mn5 Furthermore the change in the vibration mode of TDS due to design parameters, which are the tube length, diameter and thickness, has been investigated and analysed. The weight of the TDS product is smaller by about $12.8\%$ than that of SDS with the same performance. It could be evidently found that the TDS is designed to be much lighter than SDS (Solid Drive Shaft). This advantage might give some possibility to improve the NVH (Noise-Vibration-Harshness) characteristics. A maximum torque and a total number of torsional repetitions for the TDS is checked and measured to know the torsional intensity and fatigue strength through the static torsion test and torsional durability test, respectively. A total number of the torsional repetitions up to the fracture for the TDS is greater than 250,000 times.
