This study discusses how the appropriate distribution and logistic information system of the railroad industry will be developed when the Korean railroad will be open toward northeast Asia area through South Korea and China/Russia in the rail-ferry project and/or the inter-Korean railroad connection project in the fnture. This study suggests that the Korea railroad industry should build the own efficient information system of railroad distribution and logistics in the notheast Asia area far both the extension of customer services and the competition with peripheral countries around the pacific.

Many countries are pursuing the policy of activation of the railway that are means of high-efficiency eco-friendly for a sustainable low-carbon green growth through railroads' logistics, the Korea government also aims to increase railroad logistics two or three times more than present railroad logistics. But there are problems to expand the terminal infrastructure that are the limitation of geographical conditions and huge costs. We are developing the simulation to analyze the result by changing the operation method of yard trailers, reach stackers and gates. This paper aim to analyze gate performance adopting RFID.

최근 철도수송 물동량은 점진적으로 줄어드는 추세이며, 특히 무개차의 수송량이 크게 줄어드는 경향을 보이고 있다. 무개차는 덮개가 없는 화차로서 용도에 따라서 일반 무개차, 호퍼차, 자갈차로 분류할 수 있으며, 이 중에서 일반 무개차를 가장 많이 보유하고 있다. 일반 무개차는 2001년 전체 화차수송횟수의 약 23.3%를 차지했지만 2010년에는 14.5%로 그 역할이 많이 축소되었다. 최근에는 일반 무개차를 컨테이너 수송 용도로도 활용하고 있으며, 벌크화물을 컨테이너차로 수송할 수 있는 다양한 용기가 개발되고 있어 장기적으로 일반 무개차의 수요는 줄어들 것으로 판단된다. 그러나 일반 무개차는 여전히 철도수송에서 벌크시멘트차, 컨테이너차 다음으로 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있으며, 장기적인 관점에서의 수요 감소에 대비한 운용 방안의 수립이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 일반 무개차의 효율성을 분석하고 향후 일반 무개차의 운용 방안 수립을 위한 방향을 제시하였다.

The growth of online market is accelerating due to the development of technology and the era of pandemic. In order to deliver the ordered product to customers courier service should be used. In addition, the courier logistics market is growing with the growth of the online market. With the growth of the logistics market, traffic and environmental problems are emerging as social issues. Logistics technology of urban community logistics courier terminal system utilizing vacant space in the city has been developed as a new alternative to environment and traffic problems by increasing logistics efficiency in the city area. In this study, we propose a concept of a system that performs operational concept definition and scenario analysis by applying model-based perspective analysis to urban community logistics courier terminal system under development. Through this study, we defined the operating concept of the urban community logistics courier terminal, which is the target of development, and defined the scenario for system operation by grasping the structure and function of the system and applied it to system development.

This study focuses on analyzing the potentiality of economic integration and the changes in logistics circumstances in Northeast Asia. So far as the changes in logistics circumstances in it, it is emphasized a complex transport system by sea and by land, according to the connection with the Railroad of South-North in Korean Peninsula and the Railroad of the Continent of Siberia. It first considers the propriety of economic integration among Korea, China and Japan in Northeast Asia. The first stage of the economic integration in Northeast Asia means it is started from contracting of FTA(Free Trade Agreement) which just agreed at the Summit Conference among Korea, China and Japan in ASEAN＋3(Korea China. Japan). At that time, the Summit Conference between the three countries have agreed to study on the propriety of FTA charging by own country's research organization. At first China has been hesitated to join with FTA in spite of high growth in his economy, because the time is not yet for it. After all, China also decided himself to participate to FTA together with Korea and Japan by reacted to the stimulus at the conference atmosphere between every country of ASEAN. The discussion on the changes in logistics circumstances also is needed to deal simultaneously with a situation in the economic integration in Northeast Asia. It is worthy to be paid our attention to the restoration of the Railroad of South-North in Korean Peninsula, which was disconnected for a long time from the dispute between South Korea and North Korea. Therefore, it needs to be investigated together with the movement of economic integration in Northeast Asia. The reaction on the restoration of the Railroad of South-North in Korean Peninsula is not only limited to the transport of trade cargo between South Korea and North Korea, but also it is reached to all of Northeast Asia, so far as to all of the area of Russia, Europe, and the other neighbor countries. Because this railroad is connected with the Railroad of the Continent of Siberia. The transport of trade cargo in Northeast Asia have been mostly depended upon the transport by sea until now. However, it would be divided into the transport by sea as well as by land from now. As its economic effect, the restoration of the Railroad of South-North in Korean Peninsula could be not only contributed to reduce the cost of logistics within South Korea and North Korea, but also within or without in Northeast Asia, Russia, and Europe. Consequently, it could be improved the power of international competitiveness of goods in Northeast Asia, according to the formation of a complex transport system together with the transport by sea and by land.

Railroad is considered a representative echo-friendly mode, but there are many civil complaints due to dusts arising in the process of bulk cargo transportation. The freight station which is handling coal are slowly decreasing because of civil complaints. Generally gondolas and hopper cars kinds of freight cars have a role to carry coal such as anthracite and bituminous coal. The railroad competitiveness in the field of bulk cargo transportation is diminishing because there are cost increase and dust emission in the process of transshipment. In this study, we analysed the logistics process of bulk cargo transportation in the point of railroad and we could draw the problems from the logistics process. The results could be used to study various alternatives to improve the process of coal transportation.

Recently, it is recognized as a high-cost and inefficient logistics system that increases traffic congestion and environmental problems due to an increase in traffic volume due to the activation of the online market. In order to solve inefficient problems such as unavoidable traffic congestion and environmental problems caused by the increase in traffic volume, it is necessary to develop a freight transport system technology using the existing urban railway infrastructure and freight-only urban railway. The urban subway logistics system is a logistics system that requires a combination of various technologies to solve the nationwide demand for urban logistics and road traffic problems. This paper recognized the existing traffic congestion and environmental pollution of road traffic as problems, and supplemented the contact point requirements presented above by identifying the sub-systems constituting the target system and supplementary points for each part-level contact point. In this study, as a complex system operated for one purpose by grafting various technologies, a plan is required to secure the reliability and safety of operation from various viewpoints. The results of this study can contribute to the initial configuration and basic data to solve the interface bottleneck of the urban subway logistics system to be promoted in the future.

본 연구는 국내 및 해외 국가의 철도물류 운영현황을 다양한 지표를 활용하여 비교 검토하여 국내 철도물류 경쟁력에 대한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 취득가능한 데이터들을 고려하여 국가간 비교가능한 검토항목과 철도물류회사간 비교가능한 검토항목으로 나누어 연구를 수행하였다. 국가별 화물열차 운행밀도, 화물 열차당 수송량, 화물의 평균 수송거리를 비교하였으며 철도화물회사별 단위수송당 매출액, 영업계수, 직원 1인당 매출액, 직원1인당 수송실적, 단위수송당 영업비용, 영업비용 중 인건비 비중 등을 비교검토 하였다. 분석 결과 우리나라는 다빈도 소량 수송을 하고 있는 상황으로 대량수송의 장점을 충분히 활용하고 있지 못하는 것으로 나타났으며 직원 1인당 수송실적 등 철도화물분야 생산성이 해외 철도화물회사 대비 낮은 것으로 분석되었다.

Recently, securing stable supply of fresh food is deemed as one of the important tasks. Accordingly, now the presence of cold chain along with the needs of a comfortable and healthy life is growing as the online market expands and the contactless industry grows, however, cold chain is being studied only in the aspect of ground and sea transportation. And, due to global warming and strengthening global environmental regulations, we believe that it is necessary to convert the existing road-centered logistics system into a railway-centered logistics system, a low-carbon transportation means. Therefore, in this paper we calculated the maximum energy required by the reefer container as a basic research necessary for constructing the low temperature distribution and cold chain based on the reefer container railway, and conducted a study on methods of supplying the reefer container power utilizing 1. tramline, 2. battery, 3. generator. The results of this paper can be utilized as a foundational study for building a cold chain based on a reefer container dedicated to freight trains in the future.

Purpose - This study investigated competitive counteractions necessary for continuous growth in a rapidly changing logistics environment in Northeast Asia. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - Using a time series analysis, the study first investigated Northeast Asian trade scale and volume by examining online and offline material from the Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries, Busan Port Authority, and other government agencies. A literature survey was done to investigate the state and prospect of the logistics environment in Northeast Asia including changes in freight volume at major ports in the three Northeast Asian countries. Result - The results of the study suggest using the Trans-Korean Railroad (TKR), as well as promoting the North Pole and South Pole routes, to compete against changes in trade volume and the logistics environment in Northeast Asia. A SWOT analysis was done to examine the effectiveness of these strategies. Conclusions - The findings indicate that the TKR impact, using the Busan Port connecting the Trans-China Railway (TCR), the Trans-Siberian (TSR), and the North Pole Route, may be uncertain in practice considering the uncertainty in international politics.
