전기화재는 다양한 원인에 의해 발생하고 있으며 최근에는 복합적인 원인에 의해 발생하기 때문에 전기적, 열적, 기계적, 환경적 영향에 의한 제품의 열화특성과 발열 메커니즘 등 체계적인 연구와 분석을 통한 과학적이고 합리적인 안전설계애안 제시를 위한 연구가 절실히 요구되고 있는 실정이다. 재해로 인한 인적 물적 손실은 국가와 기업의 대외 신뢰도 하락을 가져오고 있으며 제품 안전에 대한 수요는 무한 경쟁에 따른 규제완화의 이유로 증가하고 있다. 기업의 이미지를 증진시키고 국제적 경쟁력을 강화시키기 위해 제품에 대한 안전 설계는 반드시 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사용량이 점차 증가하고 있는 에어컨에서 전기화재가 발생한 사례와 원인 및 재현실험을 통해 안전설계에 대한 제시를 위해 수행 하였으며 화재 예방대책 등의 기초 자료로 할용 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

The paper compares the statutory requirements for the design mid construction of primary schools in Korea and Scotland with respect to fire safety and examines the attitudes to, and the behavior in, evacuation scenarios of Primary school Pupils in both countries. The key behavioral issues examined are the effectiveness of fire safety training, the level of teacher dependency, the effect of spatial organization and gender differences both within and between Korea and Scotland.

This study describes the behavior and failure probability of basic structural member in case of fire for the research of safety assessment on onshore structure. Fire safety assessment can be done by comparing fire resistance of members with fire severity of heat load For more Practical applications, the commercial structural analysis program is linked with the in-house code and gets the limiting temperature by analyzing structural strength of member with elasto-plastic analysis and large deflection analysis. AFOSM method is utilized to obtain the failure probability against the fire. The examples of rather simple structures such as beams and plates are applied to explain and verify the procedure of fire safety assessment.

Our research group, which was organized by the South Korean and Japanese researchers, have carried out research about natural disaster in our regional heritage villages derived from the concept of ICT(information communication technology)-based DPD(disaster prevention design). In this research, we performed simulation analysis on the fire safety diagnosis in Asan-Oeam folk and JeonjuHanok village for developing our research of ICT-based PBD. In order to do this, we used fire simulation program which was developed by BRI(Building Research Institute) of Japan. Based on the results of fire simulation of Asan-Oeam folk and JeonjuHanokvillage, we can demonstrated that the fire which broken out inregional heritage folk village will be easily expanded to adjacent houses, because the house which are built with wood structure.

A comparative study on the prevention regulation of historical heritage between Korea and Japan. Every years fire accident to historical building is increasing such as Daewoongjun, Naksansa, Namdaemun and so on. The aim of this comparative study is to investigate and compare the prevention regulation in the side of fire safety of historical building between Korea and Japan. This study focus on the background of development and exchange of Fire safety law in Japan because of same condition, building material and prevention regulation.

Korean apartment buildings have been manhattanized and enlarged, but it caused increase of fire accidents. Fire accidents such as Uijeongbu apartment fire(2015), and Ssangmoon apartment fire(2016) caused many deads because of a lack of emergency exit route awareness. Follow to advanced research, conducted suervey on fire safety awareness. On this study, it will present the basic data based on the result of the survey to secure the life.

해마다 반복적으로 인적 물적 피해를 유발하여 사회 안전에 큰 영향을 미치는 산업재해, 교통사고, 화재, 범죄 등의 항목을 4대 사회안전지표로 선정하여 2003년 이후 시계열에 따른 변화 추이를 분석하였다. 2003년을 기준으로 산업재해가 27.8% 감소하여 가장 두드러지게 개선된 것으로 확인되었으며, 교통사고와 범죄자표는 12% 정도 저감된 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 화재의 경우 2006년 이후 국가화재분류체계가 바뀌면서 경미한 생활 화재도 발생건수에 포함되도록 변경되어 기준년도 대비 40% 화재안전지수가 증가한 것으로 나타났다.

Reliability of fire protection systems is often discussed, written about, and even put into codes and standards. However, reliability is seldom considered for the fire protection system as a whole. Why does this happen and why should the designer consider the system as a whole\ulcorner Existing codes and standards incorporate the concept of reliability usually In the form of key component redundancy for some parts of a system. The "Fire Safety Concepts Tree" presented in the National Fire Protection Association Guide 550, Guide to the Fire Safety Concepts Tree, provides a starting point for considering the performance of a water based fire suppression system. Considering fire protection objectives for water based fire suppression systems, means of evaluating system reliability can be developed. This development requires identification of system components that are significant to the overall system reliability.

Most truck fires breaking out on the expressway are directly damaged by fire destruction of truck and freight and many of them cause indirect damage such as serious traffic holdups. This study analyzed the fire causes and their liability of the 25-ton truck fire breaking out during expressway driving. This truck fire was caused by manufacturing defect of return spring of a braking system. The fire liability rested with a maker(manufacturer) rather than a truck owner or a driver and the maker also bore fire liability based on the Product Liability Law.
