The various types of improper usages in the process of delivering social services have been increasingly paid to attention in South Korea. This study, relying on empirical data about the various improper behaviors, explore whether the audit activity can reduce the degree of the improper behavior. In order to estimate the impact of the audit, we use the DID(Difference in difference) method, comparing the experimental group with the audit treatment and the control group without it. We control for size(the number of Service personnel and user), types of social service (elderly, disabled, etc.), organizational forms(profit, non-profit), region(metropolitan areas, small-medium cities, rural areas), and the number times of audit (1, 2, and 3 number). Our empirical results show that the audit decreased the ratio of payment violation by about 4.02 percent, the number of violations from providers' improper payment by approximately 5.07 and the number of violations from users' improper payment by approximately 9.59. Further research is required to explore why and how the audit can decrease the improper usage in social service with rigorous theoretical models.

With the rising numbers of elderly and disabled people, the demand for welfare services using a robotic system and not involving human effort is likewise increasing. This study deals with a mobile-robot system combined with a BWS (Body Weight Support) system for gait rehabilitation. The BWS system is designed via the kinematic analysis of the robot's body-lifting characteristics and of the walking guide system that controls the total rehabilitation system integrated in the mobile robot. This mobile platform is operated by utilizing the AGV (Autonomous Guided Vehicle) driving algorithm. Especially, the method that integrates geometric path tracking and obstacle avoidance for a nonholonomic mobile robot is applied so that the system can be operated in an area where the elderly users are expected to be situated, such as in a public hospital or a rehabilitation center. The mobile robot follows the path by moving through the turning radius supplied by the pure-pursuit method which is one of the existing geometric path-tracking methods. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through the real experiments those are conducted for path tracking with static- and dynamic-obstacle avoidance. Finally, through the EMG (Electromyography) signal measurement of the subject, the performance of the proposed system in a real operation condition is evaluated.

In Korea, the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) has been introduced. For secure information transmission and identification, the electronic signature authorization system of a certificate-based is built, and then the service provide.The certificate is stored in location what users can easily access and copy. Thus, there is a risk that can be stolen by malware or web account hacking. In addition, private key passwords can be exposed by the logging tool, after keyboard security features are disabled. Each of these security weaknesses is a potential conduit for identity theft, property/asset theft, and theft of the actual certificates. The present study proposes a method to prevent the private key file access illegally. When a certificate is stored, the private key is encrypted by the dependent element of the device, and it is stored securely. If private key leakage occurs, the retrieved key could not be used on other devices.

This study is to reveal the effects affecting mother' coping resources on caring stress of mothers caring for adult children with developmental disabilities. The research data was collected from the service users recruited from two disability organizations and the disabled community welfare centers in South Korea. The survey was limited to mothers caring for adult children with developmental disabilities over the age of 18. The samples of the study consisted of 119 mothers. The data were analysed through SPSS statistical program. It was used for the analysis method of Frequency analysis, T-test, ANOVA and Step wise regression. Analysis results are as follows: the family support and friend support of social coping resources is affecting in caring stress of mothers. Also, the mothers who is working are more caring stress than unemployed mothers and the mothers who is between 50age and 54age are more caring stress than the mothers of under 49 age. Based on these results, I proposed the idea of several programs for social work practice for community welfare centers based on the results.
