The Concept of Parking/Moving Vehicle Discrimination by Three-Line Scanner Imagery

  • In our contribution, the new idea of parking/moving discrimination is proposed by using Three Line Scanner Imagery. The framework of our study consists of three main stages: preprocessing, vehicle detection and parking/moving detection respectively. First two stages of framework have been done in our previous work. Parking/ Moving Discrimination algorithm have been developed by using generic vehicle characteristics and some principle of photogrammetry. By using detected vehicles from our previous work, stopping/moving vehicles are able to discriminate. Moving vehicle is detected by detecting generic moving vehicle in TLS, inter-band gap. Stopping vehicle is verified by 3 dimensional viewing of Stereoscopic measurement. Finally, the conceptual framework has been done and the result will been realized soon.

한국 전통복식에 투영된 좌우 개념 (The Concept of Right-and-Left in Korean Traditional Costume)

  • Underlying principles on the origin and establishment of the concept fo Right-and-Left (R-&-L) in Korean traditional costume is studied in this paper. Among Korean traditional costumes, ordinary and funeral costumes are considered in this study. Thed concept of R-&-L expanded into different elements of daily life among Korean people is also considered as a process of conceptual development : starting from astron-omy principle, then developed to pragmatism principle, and expanded to abstraction principle. No evidence on the case where the astro-omy principle was directly applied to was found in this study. In most cases, pragmatism and abstraction principles are observed as underly-ing principles. In ordinary costumes, pragmatism principle is the fundamental base for R-&-L through right-hand-use rule. Even though abstraction prin-ciple was found in some ordinary costumes, we believe that this was generated for adding more meanings in addition to the pragmatism principle. In funeral costumes, pragmatism principle was almost totally ignored unlike in ordinary costumes because the funeral rite was performed though formality with abstract thoughts. The abstraction principle was exercised with the form of simple-discrimination rule based on the dual system along with Yin-Yang related cultural rules such as‘Yang-left-and-Yin-right’or‘father-left-and-mother-right’. However, the case where‘left-male-and-right-female’rule is applied to was not found in this study.

Block-Ordered Layered Detector for MIMO-STBC Using Joint Eigen-Beamformers and Ad-Hoc Power Discrimination Scheme

  • Suitable for multi-input multi-output (MIMO) communications, the joint beamforming space-time block coding (JBSTBC) scheme is proposed for high-speed downlink transmission. The major functionality of the scheme entails space-time block encoder and joint transmit and receive eigen-beamformer (EBF) incorporating with block-ordered layered decoder (BOLD), and its operating principle is described in this paper. Within these functionalities, the joint EBFs will be utilized for decorrelating fading channels to cause an enhancement in the spatial diversity gain. Furthermore, to fortify the capability of layered successive interference cancellation (LSIC) in block-ordered layered decoding process, this paper will develop a simple ad-hoc transmit power discrimination scheme (TPDS) based on a particular power discrimination function (PDF). To confirm the superior behavior of the proposed JBSTBC scheme employing ad-hoc TPDS, computer simulations will be conducted under various channel conditions with the provision of detailed mathematical derivations for clarifying its functionality.

선박기인 온실가스 배출에 대한 IMO의 규제와 이행방향 (A Study on the IMO Regulations regarding GHG Emission from Ships and its Implementation)

  • 교토의정서에서 국제항해 선박의 온실가스 배출규제문제를 IMO에 위임하여 현재 IMO MEPC에서 논의중에 있다. 유엔해양법협약에 따라 모든 국가들은 해양환경보호를 위한 동등한 의무와 책임을 부담하여야 하며, 항만국은 입항하는 외국적 선박을 비차별적 원칙에 따라 통제하도록 하고 있다. 그러나 교토의정서의 기본협약인 기후변화협약은 온실가스 배출의 역사적 책임을 일부 선진국에 부과하는 차별적 공동책임을 기본원칙으로 내세우고 있기 때문에 IMO가 마련하고 있는 선박기인 온실가스 배출규제의 동등한 의무와 책임 원칙과 상반되는 양상을 보이고 있다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 기후변화협약의 발전과정과 기본원칙을 살펴보고 IMO의 선박기인 온실가스 배출규제 최근동향을 통하여 유엔해양법협약과 IMO의 규제에 있어 국제법상 제기될 수 있는 문제점을 검토하여 선박기인 온실가스 규제를 유엔해양법협약과 IMO 협약의 원칙에 따라 현실적으로 구현할 수 있는 이론적 기초와 함께 이행수단을 제공하고자 한다.

잔류자기와 I 결선에 의한 3상유도전동기 고정자 권선의 극성판별법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Polarity Discrimination Method of the Stator Windings for 3 Phase Induction Motors based on the Residual Magnetism and I Winding Connection)

  • When connecting 6 lead wires from stator windings to the terminals of 3 phase induction motors for Y or ${\triangle}$ connection, it is feared that the polarities of windings could be reversed each other if the wire tags are lost or erased, resulting in inadmissibly high current to motors in case of starting. To protect motors against such situations, some test procedures are necessary during wire connection which need to be easy ways to electricians without particular tools except a general multi-tester and with less time-consuming in the field. This study focuses on a test measure to satisfy these requirements which is able to provide them a convenient procedure for winding polarity discrimination considering the field condition. Here, the proposed measure utilizes the residual magnetism of the rotor and checks the indication of voltage or current at windings which are induced by the residual flux of rotor when rotating it by hands with 3 stator windings connected in the form of I connection. Principle characteristics and experiment results for this method are analyzed in the view of the effectiveness and applicability for the winding polarity discrimination.

안전계통에 이용되는 동시회로 (The Coincidence Circuit for the Safety Systems)

  • 원자로의 안전계통에 이용되는 2-out of-3 내시회로 및 파고선별기에 관해 인술하고 상세한 해석을 하였다. 1-out of-m 동시회로의 안전신뇌도 및 확사비상정지신뇌도에 관한 식을 유도하여 적정한 1의 값을 구하였다. 2-out of-3 동시유로는 펄스 합산 방법을 이용하여 설계하였으며 매우 간단한 원리로 동작한다. 파고선별기는 전 선렬영역에 걸쳐 좋은 직선성 및 threshold 안정도를 가진다. A 2-out of-3 coincidence circuit and a discriminator to be used in the safely systems in nuclear reactors are described and analyzed in detail. The expressions for the reliability and the spurious scram reiliability of 1·out of-m coincidence logic in general are derived and the optimum value of 1 is assessed. The coincidence circuit is designed by making use of the pulse-summing method and is very simple in principle. The discriminator has good linearity in in the whole discrimination range and good threshold stability.

석(舃)에 적용된 회차(繢次)와 수차(繡次)의 배색원칙 (Principles of Coloration for Hoecha and Sucha Applied to Seok)

  • This paper examines the way that the principles of coloration for Hoecha(繪次) and Sucha(繡次) were applied for shoe making in ancient China and Korea. Hoecha is the principle of drawing, and Sucha is the principle of embroidery. Hoecha and Sucha is the application principle of the five colors(五方色) from the five elements(五行: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth). Hoecha matchs a color with the opposite side color, and Sucha matchs a color with the beside color. A shoe consists of Sinul(body of shoe) and ornaments attached to it. According to the ratings of shoes, Hoecha and Sucha were differently applied for coloration of Sinul and its ornaments. In general, shoes were classified into Seok and Gu. For Seok, which was the high-ranked shoes, Hoecha was applied, while Sucha was applied to Gu, the low ranked shoe. As Hoecha was originally a principle of coloration for patterns on tops(jacket. 上衣), it was applied to the high ranked shoes i.e., Seok. Also, as Sucha was a principle of coloration for patterns on bottoms(skirt. 下裳), it was applied to the low ranked shoes i.e., Gu. Thus, black was decorated on red Seok, blue on white Seok, red on black Seok, yellow on hyeon(玄: a kind of black color) Seok, and white on blue Seok, all of which were applications of the principle of Hoecha. As the application of the principle of Hoecha to Seok was also done for red Seok for males and females in late Joseon, and red Seok for the crown prince in the period of the Korean Empire, black decorations were used for red Sinul. However, for blue Seok, worn by females in the period of the Korean Empire where Ming's systems prevailed, black decorations were used, which was an application of Sucha. Though there had been no discrimination between genders in the application of Hoecha and Sucha originally, the low ranked principle of coloration was applied to Seok for females.

  • 국가공무원법이 일반대학원 진학 공무원들과 법학전문대학원 진학 공무원들을 차별하는 것은 합리적 근거에 의한 차별이라 보여지지 않고, 관련 법령 및 규칙은 헌법 제11조의 평등원칙에 위배되는 것으로 생각한다. 국가공무원법 제71조 제2항 제3호 및 제72조 제6호와 공무원임용규칙 제90조는 '중앙인사관장기관의 장이 지정하는 연구기관이나 교육기관'에 진학하려는 공무원에게는 연수휴직제도를 이용할 수 있도록 규정하고 있으나, 법학전문대학원에 진학하고자 하는 공무원들에게는 이를 허용하지 않음으로 인하여 차별 취급하고 있는 것을 개선해야 한다. 따라서 야간 로스쿨 또는 생업에 종사하다가 입학할 수 있는 특별전형 제도를 활용하는 것이 바람직하다고 생각한다.

Pattern Recognition for Typification of Whiskies and Brandies in the Volatile Components using Gas Chromatographic Data

  • The volatile component analysis of 82 commercialized liquors(44 samples of single malt whisky, 20 samples of blended whisky and 18 samples of brandy) was carried out by gas chromatography after liquid-liquid extraction with dichloromethane. Pattern recognition techniques such as principle component analysis(PCA), cluster analysis(CA), linear discriminant analysis(LDA) and partial least square discriminant analysis(PLSDA) were applied for the discrimination of different liquor categories. Classification rules were validated by considering sensitivity and specificity of each class. Both techniques, LDA and PLSDA, gave 100% sensitivity and specificity for all of the categories. These results suggested that the common characteristics and identities as typification of whiskies and brandys was founded by using multivariate data analysis method.

  • 본 연구에서는 토목공사의 지반조사 등에 활발하게 적용되고 있는 각종 물리탐사 기법들의 원리 및 결과들을 개략적으로 기술하였다. 이와 함께 전기비저항 탐사, 탄성파 토모그래피, 텔레뷰어, 물리검층을 통한 석회암 공동 분포영역 규명과 전기비저항 탐사, 전자탐사, 전기비저항 토모그래피를 이용한 탄층 발달상태 규명에 대한 조사사례를 소개하였다.
