A novel self-reference sense amplifier with parallel reading during writing operation is proposed. Read access time is improved compared to conventional self-reference scheme with fast operation speed by reducing operation steps to 1 for read operation cycle using parallel reading scheme, while large sense margin competitive to conventional destructive scheme is obtained by using self-reference scheme. The simulation was performed using standard $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. The proposed self-reference sense amplifier improved not only the operation speed of less than 20 ns which is comparable to non-destructive sense amplifier, but also sense margin over 150 mV which is larger than conventional sensing schemes. The proposed scheme is expected to be very helpful for engineers for developing MRAM technology.

The relation between HPA (High Power Amplifier) and COMS (Communication Ocean Meteorological Satellite) multi-carrier is analyzed in this paper. MODAC (Meteorological and Ocean Data Application Center) has a primary mission to transmit processed data, HRIT (High Rate Information Transmission) and LRIT (Low Rate Information Transmission), which is normalized and calibrated by pre-processing. It is also replaced with the SOC (Satellite Operation Center) in emergency case and can transmit the command and ranging tones for operation of COMS. From the result of simulation with modelled HPA, it is found that the multi-carrier in one HPA can give rise to an inter-modulation which makes harmonic and spurious elements increase in-band. Under the environment of these increased parasitic elements, the degradation of multi-carrier's quality is estimated from the ratio of the amount of noise to total output power of HPA.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify nurses' duties and tasks for job analysis of the nurses in the operating room. Methods: This study was descriptive investigation research using the 3-point likert scale questionnaires and the level of importance, difficulty and the frequency of each duty and task were analyzed. Data were collected by 422 OR nurses from 57 hospitals. Results: Job of OR nurses included 13 duties and 105 tasks. The 13 duties were 'management of operative patient' 'assistive work for operation' 'supportive work for operation' 'infection control in OR' 'management of equipments and instruments for operation' 'administrating medicine for operation' 'supplies management for operation' 'safety management for operation' 'environmental management for operating room' 'administrative work for operation' 'education for operating room personnel' 'development of operation procedure books' and 'elf development of OR personnel' Conclusion: This study identified duties and tasks performed by OR nurses. Based on these results, the importance, frequency, and difficulty in this study will provide research evidence for developing training programs for OR nurses.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the method of using coraco-clavicular (C-C) sling with modified Phemister operation by postoperative clinical results, radiologic analysis and complications. Materials and Methods: 33 patients of acromioclavicular joint dislocation were included in this study. Thirteen patients were treated with simple C-C sling method and twenty patients were treated with modified Phemister operation. The assesment of clinical and radiological evaluation were performed and the final results were examined by using the Weitzman's classification. Results: In the final result of C-C sling method group, forward elevation $161^{\circ}$, external rotation $70^{\circ}$, internal rotation T8 level, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) 83.3 points were checked. In modified Phemister operation group, forward elevation $155^{\circ}$, external rotation $67^{\circ}$, internal rotation T6 level, VAS 83.8 points were checked. In coracoclavicular distance of C-C sling method group, pre-operation 12.82 mm and last follow up 8.37 mm were checked. In modified Phemister operation group, pre-operation 12.8 mm and last follow up 7.7 mm were checked. In functional evaluation by the Weitzman criteria, C-C sling group had excellent 8, good 1, fair 1 and modified Phemister group had excellent 13, good 4, fair 3. Conclusion: C-C sling method would be the better than the Modified Phemister operation because of short operation time and smaller skin incision.

The COMS, Korea's first geostationary multipurpose satellite program will accommodate 3 kind of payloads; Ka-Band communication transponder, GOCI (Geostationary Ocean Color Imager), and MI (Meteorological Imager). MI raw data will be transferred to ground station via L-band link. The ground station will perform image data processing for raw data, generate them into the LRIT/HRIT format, the user dissemination data recommended by the CGMS. The LRIT/HRIT are disseminated via satellite to user stations. This paper shows the COMS LRIT data generation procedure based on COMS LRIT specification and its verification results using the LRIT user station.

This paper analyzes on LHGS (LRIT/HRIT Generation Subsystem) processing timeline for COMS LHGS design. The LHGS shall transmit LRIT/HRIT (Low Rate Information Transmission/ High Rate Information Transmission) data to the users within 15 minutes after the end of the image acquisition. So, this paper performs experiment using MTSAT-1R LRIT/HRIT (11 days) and calculates minimum LHGS processing time. Only HRIT FD (Full Disk) image is considered in this paper because data size of HRIT FD image is the largest. As a result of experiment, COMS LHGS should be able to receive MI Level 1B product within 157 seconds at least.

Background : The necessity of unify and standardize codes used at hospital has been emphasized since OCS (Order Communicating System) was adopted. Therefore, the purpose of this study were to standardize operation code by continuous training of the ICD-9-CM code that is used as standard code in OCS program at operating room. Method : In 400 operation data, operation code entered in OCS program at operating room was compared to operation name recorded in medical record. In addition, a matching rate between input data of operation code by medical record department and computing input data of operation code in 3,710 cases was compared for each department. User operation name and operation code were matched and major diagnosis by operation department and operation name were also matched. Results : User operation name was reflected in operation classification code in detail, and operation code entered on user was registered. Input rate and matching rate of operation code were gradually improved after improvement activity. In particular, a matching rate was high at ophthalmology where operation name is segmented. Plastic surgery and orthopedics with a lot of emergency operation and comprehensive operation name show low input rates. Conclusions : As the medical field makes progress in computerlization, awareness of information exchange and sharing becomes higher. Among codes to classified medical institution, codes related to surgical operation are all different by user of hospital and department. Computerlization and standardization is essential. And when efforts of standardization continue in alliance with individual hospital and institution, initiative of preparing medical policy data at a national level will be accelerated.

The drought risk has been increasing recently due to climate change causing the extreme climate to be more frequent. In order to supply agricultural water stably under drought, it is necessary to operate an agricultural reservoir in response to drought. To this end, it is crucial to establish appropriate drought response operation rules considering weather conditions and reservoir status. In the reservoir operation simulation, the supply amount differs from the actual reservoir supply for many reasons, including maintaining water levels for supply and accommodating farmers' requests. So, for a more realistic reservoir operation simulation, it is necessary to reflect the reservoir operation rules of the actual water management site. Therefore, in this study, through a survey, the standards for limitation of agricultural water supply applied to agricultural reservoirs in Korea were investigated, and the criteria for drought response reservoir operation (DRO) were established based on the survey. Then, the DRO was applied to the irrigation period for nine subject reservoirs. The applicability was evaluated by comparing the DRO result to the operation result of HOMWRS (Hydrological Operation Model for Water Resources System). The reservoir drought index, storage rate, and daily supply were compared for evaluation. From the result, DRO showed more stable operation results in most cases against drought as it has fewer days of water supply limitation and a somewhat reservoir storage rate which can be utilized for prolonged drought.

The Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES) 9, which is currently located at 155°E geostationary orbits, has transmitted earth observation data acquired by imager to CDA at NOAA. After the acquisition on ground, observation data are corrected on ground and re-transmitted to GOES-9 for the dissemination to users. In this paper, the procedure and result from raw data acquisition and pre-processing for earth observation imagery retrieval from GOES-9 Raw data acquired in Korea at May 2005 are introduced.
