The purpose of this study is clarify consumer problem on the basis of understanding consumer behavior, that is, to make explicit the effect of economic levels and educational background upon consumer consciousness and consumption behavior. The data in this study is from a survey in 1973 by means of a questionnaire of the opinions of 200 housewives of Seoul. The ${\chi}^2$(Chi-Squire) was applied for the statistical analysis of the data and following results were found. Generally consumers lack understanding of economic matters and satisfactory consciousness on matters of consumption life. And there is significant difference among the class on several matters. That is, the lower economic level and educational background are, the lower the understanding of economic matters and consciousness of satisfaction are. So the consumer education must be carried out for lower class of economic level and educational background. And in the present awakening of salers and makers is needed for consumers.

The height of pillow was investigated from the ergonomics standpoint. The main concern of this research was to investigated the appropriate height of the pillow in lying on one's side. The infestigation in this study was administered to a sample of forty men who were similar to Korean standard body-build. The experiment was conducted under the awakening state. The experimental method was performed using ; 1) Sensuous test 2)Electromyogram survey 3) X-ray observation Sensuous test was performed using both a plain wood board and a slope wood board by jack to objectify. RESULTS : 1) By sensuous test, the height of pillow for the most comfortable state turned up 9.4±1.1cm in lying on one's side. 2) By electromyogram survey and X-ray observation, the numerical value was substantially confirmed well-grounded physiologically and anatomically. Ihope this research will be useful to establishing the suitable height of pillow for Korean.

This paper examines the moral vagueness penetrating Heart of Darkness. It views that the inarticulate moral presentation in the book is caused by the way in which the author distracts Marlow throughout his journey to Congo and ultimately to Kurtz, and puts him in a distance from what the real Cong is. Also Conrad's peculiar narrative style leads the readers' view astray Marlow describes what he sees and delivers the impression he gains in the journey but all he gets seems to be merely hazy and nebulous the readers are left with suspicion about his reliability on what he conveys to them. The effect is, because of the meagre tangibility on what Marlow experiences, he does not seem to get a clear grip on his moral rumination on what Congo can emit and what Kurtz ended up with, which allows the novel to defy a moral absoluteness. The moral awakening Marlow has gone through remains obscure. The readers are simply invited to work out what Marlow is up to.

The purpose of this study were to analyze the character usage situation such as domestic and foreign character's type, expression method and items, and also to propose the character usage promotion strategies of future fashion brands to activate and merge the character business and fashion. Five brands are selected for this study. The future promotion strategies of the Fashion Brands with characters were as follows: 1) stimulating the customers to purchase by awakening the sweet reminisce, 2) promoting the reputation of the fashion company's brand, 3) gaining an opportunity to raise their sales amount by taking advantage of emotional marketing or experience marketing.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the process of overcoming professional burnout among clinical nurses. Methods: Data were collected from 12 clinical nurses through in-depth interviews about their actual experiences. The main question was "How do you describe your experience of the process of overcoming professional burnout?" Qualitative data from the field notes and transcribed notes were analyzed using the grounded theory methodology developed by Strauss & Corbin. Results: The core category of experience of the process of professional burnout among clinical nurses was identified as "Keeping a balance by awakening-relaxing-coexisting". The participants used six interactional strategies such as 'Confronting problems', 'Exposing problems', 'Laying the mind's burdens down', 'Taking a breather', 'Seeing from a different perspective', 'Accepting realities'. The results of overcoming process of professional burnout were 'Coexisting' and 'Revitalizing'. Conclusion: The results of this study provide useful information for designing supportive programs and policies to solve professional burnout in clinical nurses.

The World Health Organization(WHO) has reported the sleep disturbance as one of the adverse effects of noise. And the effect of combined noise sources on human have been investigated because community noises are seldom heard and are concurrent. Therefore, the effects of combined noise source and its S/N ratio on sleep disturbance were investigated; as a single noise source, road traffic noise was selected, and construction and movie noise were combined with road traffic noise. Tests for sleep disturbance were conducted in bedrooms and the effect on each subjects' sleep was evaluated by questionnaire. The results showed that the rate of awakening increased slightly only when the SPL of construction noise was 10 dB higher than that of road traffic noise. It was also found that the sleep disturbance was affected by the type of combined noise sources and its S/N ratio.

Standark polysomnograms, and questionnaires were measured using 4 subjects during simulated 150m heliox saturation dives. These measurements were performed on 4 pre-dive nights, 8 bottom nights, 6 decompression nights and post decompression nights. Sleep disturbances caused by frequent awakening were found throughout the dive period, but the disturbances were more intense on the second and fourth nights at the bottom and on the third and fourth nights of decompression. Stage 4 of sleep decreased every night at the bottom and from the first through third nights of decompression. The subjective self-evaluation of sleep was in agreement with the physiological variables. Complaints of subjective feeling of fatigue slightly increased throughout the dive period. It could be surmised that sleep disturbance or fatigue was not as significant under the 150m deep hyperbalic environment of He-O/ sub 2/ mixture, and therefore should be able to be coped with partially, through there moght be individual differences in adaptation.

Purpose : This study investigated the diurnal rhythm of cortisol in male and female adolescents. Methods : Salivary cortisol was examined in 52 normally developing subjects aged 13 to 14 years. Subjects provided saliva samples at 08:00h, 12:00h, 16:00h and 20:00h. Results : Males and females showed similar pattern of cortisol, which elevated cortisol in the morning and decreased in the evening. There were no differences of gender at 08:00h, 12;00h and 20:00h. There were also not difference between males and females using an area under the curve analysis. Conclusions : The same diurnal cortisol rhythm were found in male and female adolescents. Further research is needed to examine differences of gender in cortisol awakening response.

Environmental matters are one of key issues of today's world. At this point, advanced countries are proposing and planning various kinds of policies for sustainable communities. Space designers in those countries are more concerned with regeneration or slow development than development and innovation. As the new government of Korea was started in 2008, it announced 'design Korea project' as key agenda for national competitiveness. But it seems that they are focusing on development of new town than the concept of preservation or regeneration on which most advanced countries put their bases. In these regards, this research starts with the idea that environmental factor in space design is very important and it is directly connected with human survival. With this idea, the researching team created experimental space titled 'regeneration' as one of eco-friendly education program. The team aimed at building up or 'designing one man space-one to one ratio' in deserted place with recycled stuffs. With the idea of 'regeneration' in space, the researcher aims at awakening the sense of environment and putting it into practice in daily living.

Glycogen storage disease (GSD) is a group of inherited disorders, which result in the deficiency of enzymes involved in glycogen metabolism, leading to an accumulation of glycogen in various organs. Deficiency of amylo-1-6-glicosidase (debranching enzyme) causes glycogen storage disease type III (GSD III). The main problems that anesthesiologists face in patients with GSD III include hypoglycemia, muscle weakness, delayed awakening due to abnormal liver function, possible difficulty in airway, and cardiomyopathy. In the face of these difficulties, airway preparation and appropriate glucose monitoring and support during the fasting period are important. The doses of the drugs to be used should be calculated considering the increased volume of distribution and decreased metabolic activity of the liver. We present the case of a child with GSD IIIa who underwent dental prosedation under general anesthesia. She was also being prepared for liver transplantation. This case was additionally complicated by the patient's serious allergic reaction to eggs and milk.
