절연막을 이용한 단면 표면조직화 결정질 실리콘 태양전지 (The Single-Side Textured Crystalline Silicon Solar Cell Using Dielectric Coating Layer)

  • Many researches have been carried out to improve light absorption in the crystalline silicon solar cell fabrication. The rear reflection is applied to increase the path length of light, resulting in the light absorption enhancement and thus the efficiency improvement mainly due to increase in short circuit current. In this paper, we manufactured the silicon solar cell using the mono crystalline silicon wafers with $156{\times}156mm^2$, 0.5~3.0 ${\Omega}{\cdot}cm$ of resistivity and p-type. After saw damage removal, the dielectric film ($SiN_x$)on the back surface was deposited, followed by surface texturing in the KOH solution. It resulted in single-side texturing wafer. Then the dielectric film was removed in the HF solution. The silicon wafers were doped with phosphorus by $POCl_3$ with the sheet resistance 50 ${\Omega}/{\Box}$ and then the silicon nitride was deposited on the front surface by the PECVD with 80nm thickness. The electrodes were formed by screen-printing with Ag and Al paste for front and back surface, respectively. The reflectance and transmittance for the single-sided and double-sided textured wafers were compared. The double-sided textured wafer showed higher reflectance and lower transmittance at the long wavelength region, compared to single-sided. The completed crystalline silicon solar cells with different back surface texture showed the conversion efficiency of 17.4% for the single sided and 17.3% for the double sided. The efficiency improvement with single-sided textured solar cell resulted from reflectance increase on back surface and light absorption enhancement.

채널 강조와 공간 강조의 결합을 이용한 딥 러닝 기반의 초해상도 방법 (Deep Learning-based Super Resolution Method Using Combination of Channel Attention and Spatial Attention)

  • 본 논문은 채널 강조(Channel Attentin)와 공간 강조(Spatial Attention) 방법을 결합한 딥 러닝 기반의 초해상도 방법을 제안하였다. 초해상도 과정에서 질감, 특징과 같은 주변 픽셀의 변화량이 큰 고주파 성분의 복원이 중요하다. 채널 강조와 공간 강조를 결합한 특징 강조를 이용한 초해상도 방법을 제안하였다. 기존의 CNN(Convolutional Neural Network) 기반의 초해상도 방법은 깊은 네트워크의 학습이 어려우며, 고주파 성분의 강조가 부족하여 윤곽선이 흐려지거나 왜곡이 발생한다. 문제를 해결하기 위해 스킵-커넥션(Skip Connection)을 적용한 채널 강조와 공간 강조를 결합한 강조 블록과 잔차 블록(Residual Block)을 사용하였다. 방법으로 추출한 강조된 특징 맵을 부-픽셀 컨볼루션(Sub-pixel Convolution)을 통해 특징맵을 확장하여 초해상도를 진행하였다. 이를 통해 기존의 SRCNN과 비교하여 약 PSNR는 5%, SSIM은 3% 향상되었으며 VDSR과 비교를 통해 약 PSNR는 2%, SSIM은 1% 향상된 결과를 보였다.

  • Purpose of this study is to develop fashion design with greater added value and to seek the expandability of its expression domain by applying special computer code and tape embroidery machine capable of creating more special and fancier fashion to the development of fashion design by focusing on the fashion decorations that are becoming increasingly more computer systematized. For this purpose, expression techniques and effects of computer embroidery machine code and tape trimming decoration techniques, and cases of modern fashion design are examined. Major images are then deduced to designing and production of actual 6 creative pieces equipped with creativity and commercial value by applying such images deduced. As the results, it is not only possible to develop highly value added fashion design by utilizing mixed computer embroidery machine code and tape trimming decoration technique but also to produce countlessly new and unique surfaces by inducing changes in diversified pattern expressions, thickness of cord thread, and width, color and texture of material, etc. of the tape. This can maximize the expression domain of design, and fulfill the fashion desires of consumers wanting modern enhancement of quality and individualization. If multilateral attempts and studies for the aforementioned purposes can be expanded continuously, it is deemed possible to broaden the range of expression techniques in fashion design and, moreover, to make contribution towards enhancement of competitiveness of fashion industry.

Quality Enhancement of Frozen Chicken Meat Marinated with Phosphate Alternatives

  • The effects of phosphate alternatives on meat quality in marinated chicken were investigated with the application of chilling and freezing. Breast muscles were injected with solution of the green weight containing 1.5% NaCl and 2% sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) or phosphate alternatives. Treatment variables consisted of no phosphate [control (-)], 0.3% sodium tripolyphosphate [control (+)], 0.3% prune juice (PJ), 0.3% oyster shell, 0.3% nano-oyster shell, and 0.3% yeast and lemon extract (YLE) powder. One-third of the meat samples were stored at 4℃ for 1 d, and the rest of the meats were kept at -18℃ for 7 d. In chilled meat, a lower drip loss was noted for control (+) and YLE, whereas higher cooking yield in YLE compared to all tested groups. Compared with control (+), the other treatments except PJ showed higher pH, water holding capacity, moisture content, lower thawing and cooking loss, and shear force. Natural phosphate alternatives except for PJ, improved the CIE L* compared to control (-), and upregulated total protein solubility. However, phosphate alternatives showed similar or higher oxidative stability and impedance measurement compared to control (+), and an extensive effect on myofibrillar fragmentation index. A limited effect was observed for C*, h°, and free amino acids in treated meat. Eventually, the texture profile attributes in cooked of phosphate alternatives improved except for PJ. The results indicate the high potential use of natural additives could be promising and effective methods for replacing synthetic phosphate in chilled and frozen chicken with quality enhancement.

High Work Function of AZO Fhin Films as Insertion Layer between TCO and p-layer and Its Application of Solar Cells

  • We report high work function Aluminum doped zinc oxide (AZO) films as insertion layer as a function of O2 flow rate between transparent conducting oxides (TCO) and hydrogenated amorphous silicon oxide (a-SiOx:H) layer to improve open circuit voltage (Voc) and fill factor (FF) for high efficiency thin film solar cell. However, amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cells exhibit poor fill factors due to a Schottky barrier like impedance at the interface between a-SiOx:H windows and TCO. The impedance is caused by an increasing mismatch between the work function of TCO and that of p-type a-SiOx:H. In this study, we report on the silicon thin film solar cell by using as insertion layer of O2 reactive AZO films between TCO and p-type a-SiOx:H. Significant efficiency enhancement was demonstrated by using high work-function layers (4.95 eV at O2=2 sccm) for engineering the work function at the key interfaces to raise FF as well as Voc. Therefore, we can be obtained the conversion efficiency of 7 % at 13mA/cm2 of the current density (Jsc) and 63.35 % of FF.

Resolution-independent Up-sampling for Depth Map Using Fractal Transforms

  • Due to the limitation of the bandwidth resource and capture resolution of depth cameras, low resolution depth maps should be up-sampled to high resolution so that they can correspond to their texture images. In this paper, a novel depth map up-sampling algorithm is proposed by exploiting the fractal internal self-referential feature. Fractal parameters which are extracted from a depth map, describe the internal self-referential feature of the depth map, do not introduce inherent scale and just retain the relational information of the depth map, i.e., fractal transforms provide a resolution-independent description for depth maps and could up-sample depth maps to an arbitrary high resolution. Then, an enhancement method is also proposed to further improve the performance of the up-sampled depth map. The experimental results demonstrate that better quality of synthesized views is achieved both on objective and subjective performance. Most important of all, arbitrary resolution depth maps can be obtained with the aid of the proposed scheme.

건물 그림자와 폐색 보정을 통한 고해상도 위성영상의 분류정확도 향상 (High resolution satellite image classification enhancement using restortation of buildin shadow and occlusion)

  • 고해상도 위성영상의 분류 기술은 최근 가장 활발히 연구되고 있는 분야 중 하나로 텍스쳐(texture), NDVI, PCA 영상 등 다양한 전처리 정보들을 추출하고 이를 멀티스펙트럴 밴드와 조합하여 분류 정확도를 높이는 기술을 개발하는 연구들이 주를 이루고 있다. 고해상도 위성영상에서 건물의 그림자와 옆벽면의 폐색 지역은 개체 추출 및 분류를 방해하는 주된 요인이 되며, 다양한 형태와 분광특성을 갖는 개개의 건물은 자동 분류 과정을 통해 제대로 식별되지 않는다는 한계를 갖는다. 이에 본 연구에서는 KOMPSAT-2 단영상으로부터 효율적으로 건물 정보 및 토지피복을 분류하기 위하여, 추출된 건물 정보를 바탕으로 건물의 그림자와 폐색지역을 보정한 후 비건물 지역에 대한 분류를 수행하여 분류 정확도를 높이고자 하였다. 우선 삼각벡터구조 기반의 반자동 인터페이스를 이용하여 건물의 3차원 모델 및 그림자 영역을 추출하고 이로부터 추출된 그림자 영역을 효과적으로 보정하기 위해 반복 선형회귀 연산을 이용한 그림자 보정을 수행한 후 inpainting 기법을 건물 폐색영역 복원에 적용하여 영상의 품질을 향상시켰다. 이러한 과정을 통해 도심 지역의 영상 분석에 있어 가장 큰 오차를 일으키는 인공물의 그림자와 폐색에 의한 오차를 최소화한 후 분류에 적용하여 이를 보정 전 영상을 이용한 분류 결과와 비교하였다.

Effect of NaCl, Gum Arabic and Microbial Transglutaminase on the Gel and Emulsion Characteristics of Porcine Myofibrillar Proteins

  • This study investigated the effect of gum arabic (GA) combined with microbial transglutaminase (TG) on the functional properties of porcine myofibrillar protein (MP). As an indicator of functional property, heat-set gel and emulsion characteristics of MP treated with GA and/or TG were explored under varying NaCl concentrations (0.1-0.6 M). The GA improved thermal gelling ability of MP during thermal processing and after cooling, and concomitantly added TG assisted the formation of viscoelastic MP gel formation. Meanwhile, the addition of GA decreased cooking yield of MP gel at 0.6 M NaCl concentration, and the yield was further decreased by TG addition, mainly attributed by enhancement of protein-protein interactions. Emulsion characteristics indicated that GA had emulsifying ability and the addition of GA increased the emulsification activity index (EAI) of MP-stabilized emulsion. However, GA showed a negative effect on emulsion stability, particularly great drop in the emulsion stability index (ESI) was found in GA treatment at 0.6 M NaCl. Consequently, the results indicated that GA had a potential advantage to form a viscoelastic MP gel. For the practical aspect, the application of GA in meat processing had to be limited to the purposes of texture enhancer such as restructured products, but not low-salt products and emulsion-type meat products.

강소성변형된 미세립 AM60 마그네슘 합금의 피로거동 (Fatigue Behavior of Fine Grained AM60 Magnesium Alloy Produced by Severe Plastic Deformation)

  • The fatigue behavior of AM60 magnesium alloy produced by equal channel angular pressing(ECAP) process was investigated through fatigue lifetime and fatigue crack propagation rate tests. The grain structure of the material was refined from 19.2 ${\mu}m$ to 2.3 ${\mu}m$ after 6 passes of ECAP at 493 K. The yield strength(YS) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS) increase after two passes but decrease with further pressing, although the grain size becomes finer with increasing pass number. The softening effect due to texture anisotropy overwhelmed the strengthening effect due to grain refinement after 2 passes. A large enhancement in fatigue strength was achieved after two ECAP passes. The current finding suggests that two passed material is better than the multi-passed material in view of the static strength and fatigue performance.

Detecting colorectal lesions with image-enhanced endoscopy: an updated review from clinical trials

  • Colonoscopy plays an important role in reducing the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer by detecting adenomas and other precancerous lesions. Image-enhanced endoscopy (IEE) increases lesion visibility by enhancing the microstructure, blood vessels, and mucosal surface color, resulting in the detection of colorectal lesions. In recent years, various IEE techniques have been used in clinical practice, each with its unique characteristics. Numerous studies have reported the effectiveness of IEE in the detection of colorectal lesions. IEEs can be divided into two broad categories according to the nature of the image: images constructed using narrow-band wavelength light, such as narrow-band imaging and blue laser imaging/blue light imaging, or color images based on white light, such as linked color imaging, texture and color enhancement imaging, and i-scan. Conversely, artificial intelligence (AI) systems, such as computer-aided diagnosis systems, have recently been developed to assist endoscopists in detecting colorectal lesions during colonoscopy. To gain a better understanding of the features of each IEE, this review presents the effectiveness of each type of IEE and their combination with AI for colorectal lesion detection by referencing the latest research data.
