  • Test devices can perform various functions, such as research on detection targets, sensors that detect detection targets, combined products containing sensors, and certification for the launch of combined products. However, the scope of use of test devices is limited because they perform only a single role or could only serve a particular purpose in the past. Therefore, studies on test devices that can perform various functions, such as research on detection targets, sensors that detect detection targets, combined products containing sensors, and certification for the release of combined products are necessary. Accordingly, this study proposes a test device that can increase the scope of use in the technical field of electric fires. In addition, we examine various outcomes of the proposed test device.

  • 항공기 엔진 지상 성능시험을 위한 15만 파운드 급 Test 설비를 구축하기 위해 Test Cell Type, Cell Flow, Cell Bypass Ratio, Approach Velocity, Cell Depression, Front Cell Distortion, Noise 및 Vibration 등의 주요 설계 목표를 설정 하였고, 설비 완공 후 최종 성능검사를 통해 목표 값을 충족하는 성능 데이터를 획득할 수 있었다.

소형 관통자의 콘크리트 표적 수직충돌 침투특성 연구 (A Study on Normal Penetration Characteristics of Small Projectiles in Concrete Targets)

  • After investigating the analytic model to predict penetration depth, we propose an analytical model which can be used in estimating the normal penetration characteristics of small projectiles, when they are impacted to the concrete targets with ordnance velocities. The major parameters of this model are nose factor of penetrator, compressive strength and density of targets, and impact velocity. We can predict accelerations, velocities, displacements of projectiles and applied forces by this proposed model. Estimated penetration depths were shown 5% error. We also verified the usefulness of the new method with laboratory impact test data.

이종센서 영상탐색기 시험평가를 위한 적외선 표적원 개발 (Development of Infrared Target for Dual-Sensor Imaging Seeker's Test and Evaluation in HILS System)

  • 본 논문에서는 대지, 대공 표적을 포착 추적할 수 있는 적외선 및 가시광 센서가 탑재된 이종센서 영상탐색기의 종합 성능시험을 위해 구축한 HILS(Hardware In-the-Loop Simulation) 시스템 내에 적외선 표적원을 제안한다. 이 통합시스템은 다양한 종류의 표적과 시나리오 기반 이동 표적의 궤적을 모사하기 위해 열원 및 광원을 출력하는 100개의 모듈로 구성하였다. 또한 표적에 대한 위치, 속도, 방향, 배경 클러터와 재밍 환경 등을 모사할 수 있다. 이종센서 영상탐색기의 시험평가를 위해 구축된 HILS 시스템의 전체 시스템 구성과 적외선 표적원의 설계 및 측정 결과를 제시한다. 향후에, 구축된 HILS 시스템에서 모의비행 시나리오 기반으로 동적 실시간 포착 추적에 대한 단일 또는 이종센서가 탑재된 이종센서 영상탐색기의 성능을 시험할 예정이다.

다수표적의 시각적 탐색을 위한 탐색능력 모델과 최적 탐색정지 시점 (Visual Search Models for Multiple Targets and Optimal Stopping Time)

  • Visual search in an unstructured search field is a fruitful research area for computational modeling. Search models that describe relationship between search time and probability of target detection have been used for prediction of human search performance and provision of ideal goals for search training. Until recently, however, most of models were focused on detecting a single target in a search field, although, in practice, a search field includes multiple targets and search models for multiple targets may differ from search models for a single target. This study proposed a random search model for multiple targets, generalizing a random search model for a single target which is the most typical search model. To test this model, human search data were collected and compared with the model. This model well predicted human performance in visual search for multiple targets. This paper also proposed how to determine optimal stopping time in multiple-target search.

A Fast Algorithm for Target Detection in High Spatial Resolution Imagery

  • Detection and identification of targets from remotely sensed imagery are of great interest for civilian and military application. This paper presents an algorithm for target detection in high spatial resolution imagery based on the spectral and the dimensional characteristics of the reference target. In this algorithm, the spectral and the dimensional information of the reference target is extracted automatically from the sample image of the reference target. Then in the entire image, the candidate target pixels are extracted based on the spectral characteristics of the reference target. Finally, groups of candidate pixels which form isolated spatial objects of similar size to that of the reference target are extracted as detected targets. The experimental test results showed that even though the algorithm detected spatial objects which has different shape as targets if the spectral and the dimensional characteristics are similar to that of the reference target, it could detect 97.5% of the targets in the image. Using hyperspectral image and utilizing the shape information are expected to increase the performance of the proposed algorithm.

윤활조건에 따른 Mo-Cu-N 코팅의 마모특성에 관한 연구 (Study of anti wear resistance of Mo-Cu-N coatings deposited by reactive magnetron sputtering process with single alloying target)

  • In this study, it has been tried to make the single Mo-Cu alloying targets with the Cu showing the best surface hardness that was determined by investigation on the coatings with the double target process. The single alloying targets were prepared by powder metallurgy methods such as mechanical alloying and spark plasma sintering. The nanocomposite coatings were prepared by reactive magnetron sputtering process with the single alloying targets in $Ar+N_2$ atmosphere. The microstructure changes of the Mo-Cu-N coatings with diverse Cu contents were investigated by using XRD, SEM and EDS. The mechanical properties of the coatings were evaluated by using nano-indentor, scratch test, and ball on disc methods. Especially, the coated samples were tested by using various lubricating oil to compare the property of anti wear-resistance. In this study, the nano-composite MoN-Cu coatings prepared using an alloying target was eventually compared with the coatings from the multiple targets.

The Effect of Postural Balance and Fall Efficacy on Bilateral Visual Feedback Training with Visual Targets in Stroke Patients

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of bilateral visual feedback training with visual targets on the postural balance and fall efficacy of stroke patients with hemiparesis. Methods: A total of 24 stroke patients with hemiparesis were randomly assigned to either a bilateral visual feedback training (BVFT, n=8) group, unilateral visual feedback training (UVFT, n=8) group, or a control group (n=8). The BVFT and UVFT groups performed weight-bearing training on the bilateral (less-affected and affected side) or unilateral side (affected side) with visual feedback using visual targets. The control group performed squat training without visual feedback using visual targets. The training program was conducted in the form of 3 sets a day, 3 times a week, for 4 weeks. The participants were evaluated using the Berg balance scale (BBS), lateral reaching test (LRT), timed up and go test (TUG), and the activities-specific balance confidence scale (ABC). Results: In the intra-group comparison after the intervention, the BVFT group showed a significant difference in the BBS, TUG, affected and less-affected side LRT, and ABC (p<0.05). The UVFT group showed a significant difference in the BBS and ABC (p<0.05). In the inter-group comparison after the intervention, the BVFT group showed significant improvements in their BBS, affected side LRT, and TUG, when compared to the control group (p<0.05). Conclusion: These findings show that bilateral visual feedback training with visual targets during bilateral weight-bearing exercises can improve the postural balance function in stroke patients.

신호처리 및 추적 알고리즘을 고려한 항공기탑재 레이다 거리 분해 성능 검증 (A Study of Range Resolving Performance for Airborne Radar Based on Signal Processing and Tracking Algorithm)

  • 레이다의 주요 성능 규격 중 하나인 거리 분해능은 동일한 속도 및 각도의 두 표적을 거리 상으로 분해할 수 있는 성능과 관련된 지표이다. 일반적으로 레이다 성능 규격에 정의된 분해능은 실제 두 표적 분해 관점이 아닌 송신 펄스 폭으로 정의된다. 송신 펄스 폭 수치는 설계 측면의 성능 규격일 뿐, 두 표적을 분해할 수 있는 최소 거리를 의미하는 것이 아니다. 본 논문에서는 송신 펄스폭과 레이다 알고리즘을 동시에 고려하여 동일한 속도 및 각도 정보를 가지는 두 신호가 거리 차이로 분해되어 개별 추적개시로 이어질 수 있는 최소 거리차이에 대해 분석한다. 분해능 이외의 다른 외부 간섭을 배제하기 위해 비콘(Beacon) 신호를 활용한 루프랩 (Roof-lab) 환경에서 지상시험을 수행하였고, 탐지 단계에서는 신호처리 알고리즘에 의해 개별 탐지 성능이 결정되고, 추적 형성 단계에서는 데이터 연관을 통한 중복성 검사 알고리즘에 의해 분해 성능이 결정되는 것을 확인하였다.
