To verify the 2D or 3D positioning accuracy of a multi-axes stage is not easy, particularly, in the case the moving path of the stage is not linear. This paper is a study on a measuring method for the curved path accurately. A machine vision technique is used to trace the moving path of two-axes stage. To improve the accuracy of machine vision, a zoom lens is used for the 2D micro moving path. The accuracy of this method depends of the CCD resolution and array align accuracy with the zoom lens system. Also, a further study for software algorithm is required to increase the tracing speed. This technique will be useful to trace a small object in the 2D micro path in real-time accurately.
This paper investigates the implementation and flight test of realtime vision guided autopilot system based on virtual instrumentation platform. A graphical design process via virtual instrumentation platform is fully used for the image processing, communication between systems, vehicle dynamics control, and vision coupled guidance algorithms. A significatnt ojective of the algorithm is to achieve an environment robust autopilot despite wind and an irregular image acquisition condition. For a robust vision guided path tracking and hovering performance, the flight path guidance logic is combined in a multi conditional basis with the position estimation algorithm coupled with the vehicle attitude dynamics. An onboard flight test equipped with the developed realtime vision guided autopilot system is done using the rotary UAV system with full attitude control capability. Outdoor flight test demonstrated that the designed vision guided autopilot system succeeded in UAV's hovering on top of ground target within about several meters under geenral windy environment.
Several tests are performed to evaluate road booming noise. Baseline test delivers the information of road noise characteristics. Coupling effect between structure and acoustics is obtained from the mode shapes and the natural frequencies by the modal test. Equivalent stiffness at joint areas between chassis and car-body system can be determined by the input point inertance test. Noise sensitivity of body mounting point of a chassis part can be obtained from the noise transfer function test with input point inertance test. Operational deflection shape makes us analyze the actual vibration modes of the chassis system under actual leading and find noise sources very easily. Finally, the transfer path analysis is used to Identify noise Paths through the chassis system. The objectives and the procedures of the tests are described in this Paper Also, the guideline for efficient road noise evaluation test can be found.
This paper proposes a new method called the path-history coverage to generate a test suite to test the state transition behavior of the robot SW component. The proposed method generate a test suite which includes abnormal state transitions based on FSM of target component. Especially the proposed method covers the disadvantage of the mutation test method that the size of the test suite is explosively increasing. Examples including OPRoS Component[1] show the validity of the proposed method.
This research suggests the development of simulator for a Simulation Test of a moving object's path generation and following. There are many kinds of moving objects in weapon systems, such as vehicles, missiles, robots and so on. So need tests of moving simulations during development process of weapon systems. To simulate a moving object, need an flexible path. So this report suggests a $B\acute{e}zier$ curve algorithm for generation of smooth curve path. And when new developments of weapon systems are started, many kinds of simulators are created. But, these simulators are not reused in other project because there are different kinds of development environment. So need to allow users to add specific features, And this report suggests using Dynamic Link Library(DLL).
Objectives: The purpose of the present study was to compare the mean preparation times and frequency with which Reciproc and Reciproc Blue instruments reached the full working length in mandibular molars, with or without glide path preparation. Materials and Methods: Previously untreated mesiobuccal and mesiolingual canals with completely formed apices were randomly divided into 6 groups (n = 50) depending on the usage of Reciproc (RC; VDW), Reciproc Blue (RC Blue; VDW), C-Pilot (CP; VDW), and R-Pilot (RP; VDW) files: RC, RC Blue, RC + C-Pilot (RC-CP), RC-Blue + C-Pilot (RC Blue-CP), RC+R-Pilot (RC-RP), and RC Blue + R-Pilot (RC Blue-RP). A glide path was prepared using the hand-operated C-Pilot or the machine-operated R-Pilot instruments, respectively. The ${\chi}^2$ test, analysis of variance, and the Tukey post hoc test were used for statistical comparisons. Results: No statistically significant differences were observed in the distribution of the frequency of reaching the full working length in the RC (94%), RC Blue (88%), RC-CP (94%), RC Blue-CP (90%), RC-RP (96%), and RC Blue-RP (92%) groups (p > 0.05). Conclusions: Preparation of a glide path did not have a significant effect on reaching the full working length using these systems.
The current design equations for predicting the torsional capacity of RC members underestimate the torsional strength of under-reinforced members and overestimate the torsional strength of over-reinforced members. This is because the design equations consider only the yield strength of torsional reinforcement and the cross-sectional properties of members in determining the torsional capacity. This paper presents an analytical model to predict the thickness of shear flow path in RC beams subjected to pure torsion. The analytical model assumes that torsional reinforcement resists torsional moment with a sufficient deformation capacity until concrete fails by crushing. The ACI 318 code is modified by applying analytical results from the proposed model such as the average stress of torsional reinforcement and the effective gross area enclosed by the shear flow path. Comparison of the calculated and observed torsional strengths of existing 129 test beams showed good agreement. Two design variables related to the compressive strength of concrete in the proposed model are approximated for design application. The accuracy of the ACI 318 code for the over-reinforced test beams improved somewhat with the use of the approximations for the average stresses of reinforcements and the effective gross area enclosed by the shear flow path.

With the rapid development of urban traffic system and fast increasing of vehicle numbers, the traditional centralized ways to generate the source-destination shortest path in terms of travel time(the optimal path) encounter several problems, such as high server pressure, low query efficiency, roads state without in-time updating. With the widespread use of smart cameras in the urban traffic and surveillance system, this paper maps the optimal path finding problem in the dynamic road network to the shortest routing problem in the smart camera networks. The proposed distributed optimal path generation algorithm employs the delay routing and caching mechanism. Real-time route update is also presented to adapt to the dynamic road network. The test result shows that this algorithm has advantages in both query time and query packet numbers.
