자동차용 엔진 마운트의 피로거동에 관한 연구 (Fatigue Characteristics of Engine Rubber Mount for Automotive)

  • In this study, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) was used to decide three kinds of material property of vibration proof rubber with the unique characteristic of non-linear and large deformation. As well, three types of hardness (Hs 50, 55, 60) were compared with the result of fatigue tests, fatigue life was able to be predicted. The request for fatigue life becomes strict more and more as increasing stress under conditions like a compaction, high load and high temperature for parts because it is main characteristics of rubber mount for automotive. Regarding to the fatigue life under dynamic deformation condition, it can be predicted as checking forced deformation extends and its frequency and its strain-life curve. As for material property tests of uniaxial tension test, uniaxial compression test, pure shear test, Ogden model was used for FEA by observing relations between stress and strain's rate as curve fitting. As a result of FEA, fatigue life for rubber mount was predicted and accorded well with the experimental data of fatigue test with hourglass specimens. In addition, its property of the predictable fatigue life method suggested in this study was accorded well with the experimental data by comparing the predicted fatigue life of FEA with the result of fatigue test for rubber component of engine rubber mount.

FBG센서를 이용한 다경간 강재 보 구조물의 안전성 모니터링을 위한 변형률 분포 추정 기법 (Estimation Method of Strain Distribution for Safety Monitoring of Multi-span Steel Beam Using FBG Sensor)

  • 본 연구에서는 불특정 분포하중에 대한 다경간 연속 보 구조물의 변형률 분포를 추정하는 기법을 제시하였다. 본 추정 기법은 해석적 방법이 아닌 계측한 변형률 데이터로부터 최소제곱법을 이용한 커브 피팅을 통해 변형률 분포를 추정하였다. 제시한 다경간 보 연속 구조물의 변형률 추정 기법은 멀티플렉싱이 가능한 FBG센서를 이용하여 다경간 연속 강재 보 정적 가력 실험을 통해 검증하였다. 실험을 통해서 분포 하중과 집중하중에 의한 변형률 분포의 추정 정확성 및 변형률 추정에 사용되는 계측점 수에 따른 추정 오차에 대한 검토를 수행하였다. 5.89 (하중 step1), 6.26% (하중 step2) 오차로 최대 변형률 지점에서의 변형률을 추정할 수 있었다. 추정을 위한 변형률 계측 센서 수를 감소시킨 경우 오차가 증가 (0.26~0.37%)하는 것 또한, 확인할 수 있었다. 회귀분석적 기법을 통해 다경간 보의 변형률 분포를 추정함으로써 특정 형상의 분포 하중에 대해서만 적용이 가능한 해석적 변형률 추정 기법의 한계를 넘어 불특정 분포 하중에 대한 변형률 분포 추정이 가능해졌고 추정 변형률 분포를 통해 최대변형률 발생 위치까지 확인할 수 있게 되었다.

  • Thermal humidity characteristics were considered theoretically and experimentally. A Simply well-fitted correlation of a saturated vapor pressure-temperature curve of water was introduced based on Antoine equation to make theoretical prediction of relative humidity according to temperature variation. Characteristics of dew point were also examined theoretically and its relation with temperature and humidity was evaluated. The exact mass of water vapor in a specified humidity and temperature condition was estimated to provide useful insight into the idea about how much amount of water corresponds to a specified humidity and temperature condition in a confined system. A simple but well-fitting model of dehumidification process was introduced to anticipate the trend of relative humidity level during GN2(gaseous nitrogen) purge process in a humidity chamber. Well-suitedness of this model was also verified by comparison with experimental data. The overall appearance and specification of two thermal humidity chambers were introduced which were used to perform various thermal humidity tests in order to yield useful data necessary to support validity of theoretical models.

Mechanical behavior of stud shear connectors embedded in HFRC

  • Hybrid-fiber reinforced concrete (HFRC) may provide much higher tensile and flexural strengths, tensile ductility, and flexural toughness than normal concrete (NC). HFRC slab has outstanding advantages for use as a composite bridge potential deck slab owing to higher tensile strength, ductility and crack resistance. However, there is little information on shear connector associated with HFRC slabs. To investigate the mechanical behavior of the stud shear connectors embedded in HFRC slab, 14 push-out tests (five batches) in HFRC and NC were conducted. It was found that the stud shear connector embedded in HFRC had a better ductility, higher stiffness and a slightly larger shear bearing capacity than those in NC. The experimentally obtained ultimate resistances of the stud shear connectors were also compared against the equations provided by GB50017 2003, ACI 318-112011, AISC 2011, AASHTO LRFD 2010, PCI 2004, and EN 1994-1-1 (2004), and an empirical equation to predict the ultimate shear connector resistance considering the effect of the HFRC slabs was proposed and validated by the experimental data. Curve fitting was performed to find fitting parameters for all tested specimens and idealized load-slip models were obtained for the specimens with HFRC slabs.

주행 시험 데이터를 이용한 저가형 차량시물레이터의 조향감 재현 장치 구현 (Development of A Haptic Steering System for a Low Cost Vehicle Simulator using Proving Ground Test Data)

  • A haptic steering system which reflects steering reaction torque has been developed for a fixed base vehicle simulator. The haptic steering system consists of a steering effort sensor, MR-clutch, AC servo motor and controller. In order to generate realistic steering torque feel to driver and at the same time to meet real-time simulation requirement, 3D torque map is constructed by experimental data and torque generation algorithm using the torque map has been also developed. 3D torque map is constructed using curve fitting and interpolation of the measured values of the steering angle, velocity and steering torque from actual slalom test on the proving ground. In order to carry out performance test of the developed haptic steering system, a fixed based vehicle simulator is constructed by integrating real time vehicle dynamics module, VR-video/audio module, and the haptic steering system. Steering torque and steering angle curves have been obtained from virtual testing in the vehicle simulator and performance of the haptic steering system has been evaluated.

고온고습 시험을 이용한 실리콘 태양전지 모듈의 수명 예측 연구 (A study of lifetime prediction of PV module using damp heat test)

  • To analyze the phenomenon of corrosion in the PV module, we experimented damp heat test at $85^{\circ}C$/85% relative humidity(RH) and $65^{\circ}C$/85% RH for 2,000 hours, respectively. We used 30 mini-modules designed of 6inch one cell. Despite of 2,000 hours test, measured $P_{max}$ is not reached failure which is defined less than 80% compared to initial $P_{max}$. Therefore, we calculate proper curve fitting over 2,000 hours. Data less than 80% $P_{max}$ is found and B10 lifetime is calculated by the number of failure specimens and weibull distribution. Using B10 lifetime that the point of failure rate 10% and Peck's model, the predictable equation of lifetime was derived under temperature and humidity condition.

  • 일반적으로 다져진 도로기초 지반재료의 장기적인 강도나 배수 거동 평가시 불포화상태를 고려하지 않고 있다. 그래서 보조기층과 노상토와 같은 도로하부 기초에서의 불포화상태와 이력현상을 고려하는 것은 현실적이다. 따라서 보다 정량적인 불포화 지반의 평가를 위하여 흡수력과 함수특성을 평가하기 위한 적절한 장비, 재료모델, 그리고 투수계수에 대한 평가가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 거동을 알아보기 위해서는 흙-수분 관계인 재료의 함수특성곡선 측정 자료를 통하여 불포화 투수계수를 추정하고 이를 통하여 국내 대표적인 입상재료에 대한 불포화상태에서의 수분의 이동에 대한 관찰 및 분석을 수행하였다.

  • 이 논문에서는 앞서 수행된 국내의 화강풍화토의 실험 결과를 토대로 하여 화강풍화토의 함수특성곡선을 합리적으로 예측하기 위한 방법이 제안되었다. 이 방법은 인공신경망기법을 이용해서 Fredlund와 Xing의 함수특성곡선식의 계수들을 추정하도록 제안되었다. 이러한 계수들을 추정하기 위한 신경망 모델의 입력 자료로는 실험결과에서 함수특성곡선의 계수에 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인된 입도분포곡선, 다짐함수비, 그리고 간극비가 사용되었다. Fredlund 와 Xing의 함수특성곡선식의 계수를 구하기 위해 본 연구에서 제안된 신경망 모델은 신뢰성 있는 예측결과를 보였으며 그 예측결과의 정확도가 이전의 다른 방법들에 비해 높게 나타났다.

차체의 변형상과 변형정도에 의한 자동차 충돌상황의 재구성 (Collision Configurations Reconstruction Using Deformation Shape and Deformation Severity of Car Body)

  • Collision accident reconstruction algorithm are developed based on the deformation shape and severity of a car body. At first, the body stiffness equation representing the force-deformation relationship is derived using finite element analysis for head on collision of two cars. The database of deformation shapes and energies is constructed for five different collision configurations; each configuration contains three velocity conditions. Deformation shapes are obtained using a curve fitting method and result in cubic polynomials. Deformation energies are calculated using a stiffness equation and deformation data. Three algorithms are developed to reconstruct collision configuration compared with constructed database. The developed algorithms show reasonably good performance to find collisions conditions for some test problems.

  • This paper is an experimental study on the performance characteristic with a variation of capillary diameter and length. The performance characteristic of a refrigeration system is predicted that it is occurring changes of flow pattern and pressure drop in a capillary tube because of reduction of capillary diameter 0.74 to 0.6 mm. The difference between experimental results and analytical results is mainly caused by values of friction factor for using to calculate pressure drop through a small diameter capillary tube under 0.74mm. The experimental equation is derived from capillary tube test data using curve fitting method.
