The aim of this report was to show the effects of acupotomy in patients with carpal tunnel syndrome. Four patients were treated with acupotomy twice. Visual analogue scale (VAS), Tinel's sign, Phalen's test, Boston carpal tunnel syndrome questionnaire (BCTQ), muscular strength test, and a cross-sectional area of median nerve was measured using ultrasound before and after treatment. In all 4 cases, the VAS score, BCTQ score and cross-sectional area of median nerve, all decreased and muscular strength test score increased. Tinel's sign and the Phalen's test changed from a positive to a negative in most cases. This report shows that acupotomy is an effective treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome. Further larger are needed to fully evaluate the beneficial effects of this treatment.

Background: In the present study to investigate the immediate effects of standing position of the trunk stabilization exercise on Guillain-Barre syndrome patient's balance and gait abilities were examined. Design: Case report and conducted as a single-blind. Methods: Standing position of trunk stabilization exercise was conducted for five Guillain-Barre syndrome patient's who met the selection criteria were recruited. The subjects were conducted conservative exercise and trunk stabilization exercise. Conservative exercise was implemented for thirty min, five times for 8 weeks, and trunk stabilization exercise was implemented for 15 min. The participants' balance was measured via force plate (COP), functional reach test (FRT), timed up and go test (TUG), gait was measured using the 10 m walk test, and 6 minute walk test. Results: After training, the change values of the balance and gait ability in the subjects were significantly greater than pre-test. participants showed significant improvements in COP, FRT, TUG, 10 m walk test and 6 minute walk test pre and post the training (p<0.05). Conclusions: standing position of the trunk stabilization exercise was effective on Guillain-Barre syndrome patient's balance (COP, FRT, TUG) and gait (10 m walk test and 6 minute walk test) abilities were examined.

This study is to report the effectivenes of Meridian-Test (M-test) in 2 cases on shoulder diseases. The M-test was applied to one patient diagnosed with as impingement syndrome and one patient diagnosed with tear of supraspinatus tendon. The changes in numeral rating scale and range of motion were identified to assess the progress of the treatment. After three times treatments, In example 1, the pain decreased from 6 to 0.5 and the range of flexion and abduction increased from $150^{\circ}$ to $180^{\circ}$. In example 2, the pain decreased from 6.5 to 1, and the range of shoulder flexion increased from $120^{\circ}$ to $170^{\circ}$, while the range of abduction increased from $90^{\circ}$ to $170^{\circ}$. Based on the above results, it would be effective to apply M-test to treat shoulder diseases in these two cases.

Objectives : The purpose of this case series was to investigate the effectiveness of Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang for headache. Methods : The case subjects were nine patients who were diagnosed as Taeumin from the Department of Sasang Constitutional Medicine. They were selected among outpatients who visited Sangji Oriental Medical Hospital with complaint of headache from October 2007 to January 2008 through chart reviews. They were treated with Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang without other treatments. Relative seriousness of headache was determined by Headache Impact $Test^{TM}$(HIT-$6^{TM}$) questionnaire. Results of before and after therapy were evaluated and scored using Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). The results were analyzed using statistical methods. such as Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, and Mann-Whitney U Test. Results : The study showed that the VAS score significantly decreased after treatment (P<0.05). Conclusions : In summary, this case report suggests that Chengsimyeonjatang-gamibang appears to be effective in the treatment of headache.

This paper alms to estimate the change point of the precipitation in Pusan area using the several statistical approaches. The data concerning rainfall are extracted from the annual climatological report and monthly weather report issued by the Korean Meteorological Administration. The average annual precipitation at Pusan is 1471.6 mm, with a standard deviation of 406.0 mm, less than the normal(1486.0 mm). The trend of the annual precipitation is continuously decreasing after 1991 as a change point. And the statistical tests such as t-test and Wilcoxon rank sum test reveals that the average annual precipitation of after 1991 is less than that of before 1991 at 10% significance level. And the mean gnu성 precipitation In Kyongnam districts is also continuously decreasing after 1991 same as Pusan.

We report 1 case about Mangeummunmu-tang gagambang that was used for a Taeeumin patient with diabetes mellitus. We treated a Taeeumin patient who was diagnosed with diabetes at another hospital two months ago. We considered his Sasang constitution as Taeeumin and prescribed Mangeummunmu-tang gagambang. The improvement of his diabetes was evaluated by improvement of his symptoms, results of blood sugar test, bone muscle mass, body fat, body fat rate of inbody test and the results of Blood test & urine test. The evaluation index of the patient's disease has all improved since treatment after Mangeummunmu-tang gagambang medication.

본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 아동체벌에 대한 태도, 아동 권리인식과 아동학대 신고의도와의 관계를 살펴보고, 아동학대 신고의도에 미치는 영향 요인을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 2023년 4월 1일부터 2023년 6월 30일까지였으며, 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 194명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 조사하였다. 자료분석은 IBM SPSS/WIN 26.0 프로그램을 사용하여 기술적 통계, independent-test와 ANOVA, Scheffe' test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, Multiple Regression analysis를 이용하였다. 본 연구결과 아동체벌에 대한 태도는 아동 권리인식과 아동학대 신고의도와 유의한 음의 상관관계가 나타났으며, 아동 권리인식은 아동학대 신고의도와 양의 상관관계가 나타났다. 아동학대 신고의도에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 아동체벌에 대한 태도와 아동학대 신고의도로 총 설명력은 19%였다. 따라서 아동학대 신고의무가 있는 예비 간호사로서 아동학대에 대한 민감성을 높이고 아동학대 신고의도를 향상시키기 위해 아동학대 사례를 경험할 수 있는 교육프로그램을 개발하는 것이 필요하다.

장요인대 염좌 환자 2명에게 전열침 치료를 시행하여 통증 강도가 증가하였지만 봉독약침 치료를 시행한 후 통증 강도와 요추 가동범위 및 이학적 검진상에서 호전되었음을 보고한다. 이와 같이 봉독약침에 의해 호전 될 수 있는, 염증성 병변을 내재하였거나 진행 될 가능성이 있는 환자에 대한 사전의 감별 진단에 대한 연구 및 전열침 치료의 효과 및 부작용에 대한 체계적인 연구가 추후에 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Objectives : The objective of this clinical case report is to describe an acupuncture treatment for dizziness after acoustic neuroma surgery. Methods : The patient was treated with acupuncture treatment for 4 months, 3 times per week. Duration for every treatment were 30 min by manual acupuncture with De Qi, which was designed to treat the dizziness and accompanied symptoms. Side-lying test was also used to evaluate dizziness and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HDRS) to evaluate depression. We evaluated the clinical result of the treatment by observing the patients symptoms. Results : After acupuncture treatments for 4 months, patient's Side-lying test reduced to 10 second, and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression reduced 4 points. Conclusions : The clinical case treatment report may suggest that the acupuncture treatment can be a meaningful option for the intractable dizziness after acoustic neuroma surgery, and also able to reduced depression scale.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report that patient diagnosed as drug-induced liver injury treated with herbal and western medicine improve liver function test. Methods : We treated the patient diagnosed as drug-induced liver injury caused by antibiotics with Hepatotonics and Cheonggan-tang Gagam(淸肝湯加減). Then, We followed up the result of liver function test. After the result of liver function test improved, we diagnosed the patient with Korean medical methods, and evaluated the symptom of Cerebral infarction and liver function test treating the patient with Jihwangumja (地黃飮子). Result : After our treatment, Liver function test and symptoms of Cerebral infarction result improved. Conclusion : Use of Western medicine with herbal medicine can improved liver function test of drug-induced liver injury effectively and herbal medicine do not disturb the liver function.
