  • Test devices can perform various functions, such as research on detection targets, sensors that detect detection targets, combined products containing sensors, and certification for the launch of combined products. However, the scope of use of test devices is limited because they perform only a single role or could only serve a particular purpose in the past. Therefore, studies on test devices that can perform various functions, such as research on detection targets, sensors that detect detection targets, combined products containing sensors, and certification for the release of combined products are necessary. Accordingly, this study proposes a test device that can increase the scope of use in the technical field of electric fires. In addition, we examine various outcomes of the proposed test device.

패키지 반도체소자의 ESD 손상에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation of the Electrostatic Discharge(ESD) Damage in Packaged Semiconductor Devices)

  • As the use of automatic handling equipment for sensitive semiconductor devices is rapidly increased, manufacturers of electronic components and equipments need to be more alert to the problem of electrostatic discharges(ESD). In order to analyze damage characteristics of semiconductor device damaged by ESD, this study adopts a new charged-device model(CDM), field-induced charged model(FCDM) simulator that is suitable for rapid, routine testing of semiconductor devices and provides a fast and inexpensive test that faithfully represents ESD hazards in plants. High voltage applied to the device under test is raised by the field of non-contacting electrodes in the FCDM simulator, which avoids premature device stressing and permits a faster test cycle. Discharge current and time are measured and calculated. The characteristics of electrostatic attenuation of domestic semiconductor devices are investigated to evaluate the ESD phenomena in the semiconductors. Also, the field charging mechanism, the device thresholds and failure modes are investigated and analyzed. The damaged devices obtained in the simulator are analyzed and evaluated by SEM. The results obtained in this paper can be used to prevent semiconductor devices form ESD hazards and be a foundation of research area and industry relevant to ESD phenomena.

Design and Fabrication of Test Equipment for mass production of Automatic Test Equipment(ATE)

  • In this paper, we proposed the test equipment that can perform separate performance tests to mass-produce the Automatic Test Equipment. Until now, the performance test of the ATE has been performed after it has been assembled perfectly. It is possible to perform the performance test only when the external device manufacturing and setting of measurement resources and the internal wiring work have been completed. So we have been studying test equipment that separately tested the switching devices that played a key role in the performance of the ATE. To build the test equipment, we reviewed the circuit card assemblies that make up the switching devices. We designed a test equipment that satisfies the performance test and apply the completed test equipment to the actual production process to analyze whether it was effective in improving the time and workability of the performance test. The test equipment has the advantage that it can be used universally in the mass production process of ATE with the same type of switching device.

  • 전세계적으로 재난에 의한 피해가 급증하면서 인명피해를 줄이기 위한 장비에 대한 기술 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 소방안전 및 119구조 구급기술연구개발사업의 지원으로 "인명구조용 소방대원 근력지원장치 개발(2015 ~ 2018)" 과제를 통하여 재난환경 및 재난 대응 시나리오를 고려한 리프팅 성능(양중하중 100 kg 이상, 양중높이 1 m 이상, 양중거리 60 cm 이상, 양중속도 0.2 m/s 이상)을 만족하는 장비를 개발 중에 있다. 본 연구는 장치의 유용성을 판단하기 위해 양중성능 및 내환경 시험법을 제안하였고, 양중성능시험의 동역학 해석을 통해 근력지원장치의 상세사양을 분석 및 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 제안한 시험 방법은 근력지원장치의 안정적인 성능 구현여부를 평가하는데 실용적으로 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

탑재비행시험용 POD 무선 점검 시스템 개발 및 검증 (Development and Verification of Wireless Check-up System of POD for Captive Flight Test)

  • In this paper, we studied a method of wirelessly checking up the POD for captive flight tests which is performed during the development of guided weapons systems. The wireless power transfer module, the power distribution device, and the battery pack were designed to wirelessly power the captive flight test POD, and the communication device was designed to enable wireless communication between the POD and the check-up device. The communication device was designed to enable WiFi, IR communication, and laser diode communication, so that various communication methods could be tested. Through the performance test, it was confirmed that power was stably supplied to the captive flight test POD, and the wireless communication performance was verified by measuring the delay time and error rate. As a result, by using our system the POD check-up for the captive flight test was performed wirelessly and the data of the captive equipment could be obtained effectively.

고속 비행체의 비행궤적별 유로개방장치 동역학 해석 (Dynamic Analysis of a Flow Passage Opening Device in Flight Profile of a High-speed Vehicle)

  • 가속도추종 유로개방장치는 고속 비행체의 가압식 연료탱크에서 연료가 쏠림현상으로 인해 단절되는 것을 막아 연속적으로 흐르게 한다. 기개발된 이 유로개방장치를 실제 고속으로 시험하는 것은 까다로운 시험조건과 비용문제로 많은 어려움이 따른다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 저속 항공기에 탑재해 기본적인 역중력 시험(Negative-g test)을 수행하고 RecurDyn으로 해석한 결과와 비교하였다. 그리고 고속비행체의 비행궤적에 따른 유로개방장치의 동역학적 거동을 RecurDyn으로 알아보았다.

400 km/h급 고속철도의 소음저감을 위해 방음벽 상부에 설치하는 소음저감장치 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of a Noise Reduction Device Installed at the Top of Noise Barrier for the 400 km/h Class High-speed Railroad)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a noise reduction device installed at the top of noise barrier for further decreasing of noise level of 400 km/h class high-speed railroad. For this, the frequency spectrum of 400 km/h class high-speed railroad was analyzed through the field noise test, and the tuning frequency was determined to design a noise reduction device. The noise reduction device was designed to have noise reduction performance of at least 3 dB(A) using the prediction method(2D BEM) and through the laboratory test with the prototype. Finally, the outdoor test showed that this device could decrease noise level of 400 km/h class high-speed railroad even more than 3 dB(A).

원 스테이션 파스너 자동포장기 개발(II) : 제작 및 성능검증 (Development of Automatic Packing System of One Station for Fasteners(II) : Packing System Manufacture and Performance Test)

  • In general, the purpose of packaging fasteners is a series of management activities to maintain the condition at the time of production until they get delivered to the end user. An automatic packing system for fasteners is consisted of bucket conveyor, slide feeder, vision inspection system, box-magazine conveyor system and automatic packing machine. Also, the automatic packing machine is consisted of six modules including charging device, clamping/opening device, sealing/cutting device, feeding/air-shower device, supplying/adjusting device and device frame, etc. In this paper, we proposed an automatic packing mechanism of the one station concept for packing work of fastener objects where the continuous batch work is performed in a finite space. The proposed one-station packing mechanism has been optimized through mechanical, dynamical, structural and fluid analyses. And it had been manufactured as the prototype of automatic packing machine. The field test for validation of performance was performed directly at the production line of bolt and screw. In the field test, this packing machine showed an efficiency of about 4.5 times the manual operation. It also showed 30% reduction in the consumption of packing materials compared to the manual operation. This automatic packing machine for fastener objects will be commercialized soon.

  • This paper concerns on developing a multi-purpose test device for measuring mechanical properties of shoes. The device was modified from a commercial robot manipulator, with which impact, bending, and pronation tests were suggested to evaluate performances of shoes. From several experiments, the developed device could produce repetitive and consistent results corresponding to the different material of shoes. In the shoe industry, it is expected that the device could contribute to developing a better shoe for comfort of costumers.

발사 후 은닉형 배꼽연결기 분리장치에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hidden Type Separation Device for Missile Umbilical Connector)

  • After the missile is launched, the umbilical connector should be separated from it without any physical interference. The umbilical separation device, for this purpose, was developed by means of new concept. Using the investigation of various methods to separate the umbilical connector, a suitable method was selected and a corresponding device was designed and manufactured. To ensure the performance of the developed device, numerical analysis and performance test were conducted and correction was followed. The umbilical separation device was applied to real system operation test and its operation performance was tested. In consequence, several problems were founded, however, good results were generally obtained.
