Today, many manufacturing companies realize that collaboration is crucial for their survival. Especially, in the perspective of quality, the importance of collaboration is emphasized because economic loss increases exponentially while defective parts go through the process in supply chain. However, the manufacturing companies are facing two main difficulties in implementing collaborative relationships with their suppliers. First, it is difficult for the suppliers to produce reliable products due to their obsolete facilities. The problem gets worse for second- or third-tire vendors. Second, the companies experience the lack of universally understandable set of terminology and effective methodologies for knowledge representation. Ontology is one of the best approaches to expressing and processing a domain knowledge. In this paper, we propose the manufacturing ontology-based quality prediction framework to represent and share the knowledge of industrial environment and to predict product quality in manufacturing processes. In addition, we develop the ontology-based quality prediction system based on the proposed framework. We carried out a series of experiments for an injection molding process at an automotive part supplier. The experimental results demonstrated that the proposed framework and system can be successfully applicable in manufacturing industry.

국방분야에서는 국방용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 효율적인 업무 연계 및 표준화된 국방 용어 유통 체계를 정립하는데 노력하고 있다. 국방기술품질원에서도 국방 과학기술 분야의 전문용어 사전 발간을 통해 각군의 과학기술 용어를 표준화함으로써 업무 연계 및 효율성 제고에 노력하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전문용어 사전 구축 표준화 프로세스를 준용해서 국방 과학기술 전문용어 사전의 후보 용어 선정부터 정제, 시소러스 구축, 검수에 이르는 전주기 과정에 대한 실제 구축 내용을 기술하고 있다. 또한 전문용어 사전의 효율적 구축 및 관리를 위해 개발된 워크벤치의 기능을 중심으로 용어 선정, 정보 입력, 관리 기능을 기술하고 한다.

Gastrointestinal side effects including nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, oral mucositis and colitis, and hepatotoxicity are common occurrence during chemotherapy. Often they result in unplanned admission and interruption of scheduled therapy. Additionally they have a negative influence on patient's therapeutic outcome and quality of life. The assessment of gastrointestinal side effects is dependent on clinician assignment of a grade established by the National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events. Continued interest of gastrointestinal side effects has allowed identifying patients at higher risk and providing effective treatments to relieve painful symptom. Finally, proper prevention and management of chemotherapy-induced gastrointestinal side effects will be needed to improve patient's survival and quality of life.

The National Science and Technology Standard Classification System is established and operated for the purpose of efficiently managing science and technology related information, manpower, and R&D projects. The revision cycle for the classification system is five years, and 2022 is the first year of the next revision procedures. The main purpose of the next revision is to turn the third level categories into the keywords in the current classification system. It is to solve the problems about not reflecting the latest terms, and the difficulty in linking with the relevant other classifications caused by the rigid structure of the current classification system. In this study, the method was proposed by changing the existing classification system into the term management system as to improve the quality and usability of keywords related with the current third level categories. For this method, SKOS, the international standard terminology management system, and ISO/IEC 11179 standards were offered as basic models. In addition, the related metadata standards used in overseas scientific and technological glossaries were investigated, and compared with the current National Science and Technology Standard Classification System. And then essential metadata elements from the terminology management as point of view was derived. As a result, 11 standard metadata elements that can be immediately modified and applied in the current system were recommended, and five elements that can be applied after the revision of the classification system were offered.

We have recently witnessed many of global companies did not successfully adapt themselves to local markets, and finally exited the markets experiencing failures. The purpose of this study is to suggest practical glocalization strategies for global e-service companies to run their respective businesses in local markets with success. Glocalization is a terminology blending globalization and localization, meaning that global companies adapt themselves to local cultures, environment, languages, laws and regulations so as to survive and prosper in those markets while maintaining high quality of standards and processes they originally have for global competitive edge. Examining success stories as well as failure ones of global e-service companies having entered Asian markets, we provide marketing mix strategy for successful glocalization, and suggest some guidelines for prospective e-service companies wishing to enter local markets with different cultures and languages to fit themselves to new environments.

본 연구는 국방규격서의 전문어, 오용어, 어문규정 및 순화어 미(未)준수 어휘를 추출, 정의 또는 순화어로 정제하는 맵핑구조를 제시, 민 군규격용어 표준화를 위한 정보업무 로드맵을 구축하여 민간용어와의 호환성 및 일관성을 유지할 수 있는 지원체계를 연구하였다. 대상 규격용어는 KS용어표준 원칙을 기본으로 한 신뢰도 평가와 텍스트 마이닝 (text mining)빈도분석을 이용하여 선정하였으며, 시소러스(thesaurus) 체계를 삽입, 개념기반 서비스의 확장성을 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 산출된 규격용어 DB는 민간 및 국방 관련분야의 용어표준관리 정보체계에 검색 및 용어설명에 활용될 수 있다.

Purpose: To Provide 3 main principles that needs to be changed for clinical practice and suggest the frame of clinical practice in accordance with the change of generation. Methods: We reviewed literatures related with Clinical Practice. Results: The purpose of physical therapy is to maintain the client's motor and functional ability and enhance the quality of lifestyle. To carry out the principles of clinical practice effectively all the physical therapist must be able to comprehend as follows. First, physical therapy can be different generation by generation. Second, technical terminology must be used when communicate. Third, There are certain ways of process in physical therapy. Conclusion: Physical therapist that is heath care professional occupation in health related, is in need of constant endeavor. Also physical therapist must train oneself self-directed learning.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristics and brewing methods of Danyangju, which is one of the traditional single brewed rice liquors using Korean ancient literatures publishes from the 1400's to 1600's. Total 32 Danyangju products and 55 brewing methods were found by reviewing the ancient literatures. Danyangju products could be classified into four groups depending on type of grain used: 1) 13 Danyangju products with non-glutinous rice, 2) 14 products with waxy rice, 3) 4 products with mixture of waxy and nonwaxy rice, and 4) 2 products with barley. In this paper, not only ingredients, formula and utensils needed for preparation of Danyangju, but also brewing characteristics and terminology were reviewed. The findings on Danyangju in this study would be useful to improve the brewing methods and quality of Korean traditional liquors.

Amid the worldwide increase in spinal surgery rates, a significant proportion of patients continue to experience refractory chronic pain, resulting in reduced quality of life and escalated healthcare demands. Failed back surgery syndrome (FBSS) is a clinical condition characterized by persistent or recurrent pain after one or more spinal surgeries. The diverse characteristics and stigmatizing descriptions of FBSS necessitate a reevaluation of its nomenclature to reflect its complexity more accurately. Accurate identification of the cause of FBSS is hampered by the complex nature of the syndrome and limitations of current diagnostic labels. Management requires a multidisciplinary approach that may include pharmacological treatment, physical therapy, psychological support, and interventional procedures, emphasizing realistic goal-setting and patient education. Further research is needed to increase our understanding, improve diagnostic accuracy, and develop more effective management strategies.
