Allocation Model of Container Yard for Effectiveness of ATC Work in Automated Container Terminal

  • In this paper, we deal with an allocation model of vertical type container yard for minimizing the total ATC work time and the equivalence of ATC work´s load in each block on automated container terminal. Firstly, a layout of automated container terminal yard is shown. The characteristic of equipment which is operated in the terminal and basic assumption are given. Next, an allocation model which concerns with minimizing the total work time and the equivalence of work´s load is proposed for the effectiveness of ATC work in automated container terminal. Also, a weight values on critical function are suggested to adjust the critical values by evaluating the obtained allocation plan. 해양미생물 Streptomyces sp. M3로부터 alginate lyase의 클로닝 및 발현 (Cloning and Expression of Alginate Lyase from a Marine Bacterium, Streptomyces sp. M3)

  • 알긴산을 분해하기 위하여 갈조류로부터 분해활성이 있는 해양미생물을 분리하였다. 분리된 균주의 16S ribosomal DNA를 분석한 결과 이전에 보고했던 ALG-5 균주와 비슷한 Streptomyces sp.에 속하는 것으로 나타났다. 상동성이 있는 염기서열로 고안한 특이적인 primer로 PCR을 행함로서 Streptomyces sp. M3의 새로운 alginate lyase 유전자를 클로닝하였다. M3 alginate lyase의 예상 아미노산 서열에는 N-terminal 영역에 YXRSELREM 서열과 C-terimnal 영역에 YFKAGXYXQ 서열이 보존되어 있었다. M3 alginate lyase 단백질의 homology model은 Corynebacterium sp. ALY-1으로부터 얻은 단백질인 alyPG와 같이 $\beta$-jelly roll fold를 main domain으로 가지고 있음이 나타났다. M3 alginate lyase 유전자를 가지는 재조합 E. coli의 세포균질액은 polymannuronate block보다는 polyguluronate block에 대하여 높은 분해력을 가지고 있었다. 아미노산 서열 다중정열 및 homology modeling으로부터 얻은 결과는 M3 alginate lyase가 Family PL-7으로 분류될 수 있음을 말해 준다.

LSB를 이용한 Docking System 개발 (Development of docking system using laste slit beam)

  • The major movement block of the containers is range between apron and designation points on yard in container terminal. The yard tractor operated by human takes charge of it's movement in conventional container terminal. In unmanned container terminal, UCT(unmanned container transporter) has charge of the yard tractor's role and the navigation path is ordered from upper level control system. The unmanned container terminal facilities must have docking system that guided landing line to have high speed travelling and precision positioning in unmanned container terminal. The general method for docking uses the vision system with CCD camera, infra red, and laser. This paper describes the investigation for the developed docking method in view point of merit and demerit and introduces 속 result of developing the docking system with LSB(laser slit beam).

구성요소가 서로 종속인 네트워크시스템의 신뢰성모형과 계산알고리즘 (Reliability Modeling and Computational Algorithm of Network Systems with Dependent Components)

  • General measure in the reliability is the k-terminal reliability, which is the probability that the specified vertices are connected by the working edges. To compute the k-terminal reliability components are usually assumed to be statistically independent. In this study the modeling and analysis of the k-terminal reliability are investigated when dependency among components is considered. As the size of the network increases, the number of the joint probability parameter to represent the dependency among components is increasing exponentially. To avoid such a difficulty the structured-event-based-reliability model (SERM) is presented. This model uses the combination of the network topology (physical representation) and reliability block diagram (logical representation). This enables us to represent the dependency among components in a network form. Computational algorithms for the k-terminal reliability in SERM are based on the factoring algorithm Two features of the ractoring algorithm are the reliability preserving reduction and the privoting edge selection strategy. The pivoting edge selction strategy is modified by two different ways to tackle the replicated edges occuring in SERM. Two algorithms are presented according to each modified pivoting strategy and illustrated by numerical example.

A Simulation Model for Improving the Productivity of Container Handling in the Container Terminal

  • The productivity of container terminal is determined by its various operation methods. This paper aims at finding out the factors to enhance the productivity of container handling of quay crane, using simulation technique. Three levels of decision making in terminal operation, strategy, and tactics and operation are selected for defining parameters of simulation The result of the simulation and test shows that the significant factors to improve the productivity are the stack height of container, block dispersion and the distance in yard planning for shipment. Decision making in the operation level, however, is of significance in the mixed condition of strategic and tactical level. The result shows meaningful guidelines in decision making under strategic, tactical and operation level.

내장신경 차단후의 추적조사 (Follow-up Observation after Splanchnic Nerve Block)

  • One hundred among 320 patients who underwent splanchnic nerve block were evaluated retrospectively by telephone or letters. After splanchnic nerve block most of the patient experienced relatively good pain relief until death. The results were as follows 1) The duration of pain relief and survival time were well correlated. 2) The duration of survival time after the block was varied from 35 days to 240 days. These data suggest that the splanchnic nerve block is a satisfactory and reliable method for terminal cancer pain and results in a painless life until death.

모바일 오피스 서비스 지원을 위한 ADSRC 패킷 통신 시스템

  • In this paper, we introduce an ADSRC(hdvanced DSRC) OFDM packet communication system which has been developed by ETRI. The ADSRC system is targeted to provide high terminal mobility, high data rate and seamless service in roadside environment for mobile office services. We discuss the requirements of the ADSRC communication system for mobile office services, and the system design specification to meet them with regard to air interface. The ADSRC packet communication systems consist of the MAC processor block, the OFDM packet modem block and the RF block. The MAC processor block handles medium access control and the test. The OFDM packet modem transmits data packets at up to 24Mbps adaptively and recovers the data from RF block. We describe the ADSRC packet communication system architecture and the ADSRC system protocol.

MCCB 단자 접속부의 접촉불량에 의한 과열사고 방지기법에 관한 연구 (Research on Overheat Protection Techniques of Connection Parts of MCCB by Poor Contact)

  • 본 논문에서는 MCCB 및 단자대 접속부의 접촉불량에 의한 소손특성을 분석하였으며, 발열을 감지하여 화재를 예방할 수 있는 다양한 기법들을 제시하였다. 첫째로, 열전대를 사용하는 방법과 적외선 열화상기를 사용하여 접촉불량 등의 원인에 의해서 발열을 감지하는 방법을 분석하였다. 또한, 접촉불량 발생시 변색여부로 쉽게 이상유무 판단이 가능한 서모캡의 특성을 분석하였으며, 공간 등의 제약을 덜 받으면서 접속부위에 상시 설치하고 감시할 수 있는 방식인 향 캡슐과 향 검지기를 사용하여 과열을 감지하는 시스템의 원리 및 특징을 분석하였다. 마지막으로, 가융합금의 용융특성을 응용한 접촉불량 감지나사를 제작하여 단자대에 적용 및 실험하여 성능을 검증하였다. 상기 제시된 기법들을 적절히 적용된다면 MCCB 및 단자대등의 접속부의 접촉불량에 의한 전기화재 예방에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

작업 영역 구분을 이용한 컨테이너 터미널의 장치장 운영 전략 (Division of Work Regions for Operating the Yard in a Container Terminal)

  • 본 논문은 교행이 불가능한 두 대의 크레인이 설치된 수직 배치 장치장을 위한 크레인 작업 영역 구분 운영 방안을 제안한다. 일반적으로 수직 배치 장치장의 경우 블록의 양 끝단에서 차량에 컨테이너를 싣거나 내리며, 각 크레인은 교행이 불가능하기 때문에 각각 해측, 육측의 작업을 전담하여 처리한다. 이러한 상황에서 크레인이 차량으로부터 멀리 떨어진 컨테이너를 빈번하게 처리하게 되면, 크레인의 긴 이동 거리와 상대 크레인과의 간섭으로 인해 작업 효율이 떨어지게 된다. 이에 본 논문에서는 블록을 각 크레인의 전용 영역과 공유 영역으로 구분하고 상대방의 전용 작업 영역에 있는 컨테이너의 경우 상대 크레인이 공유 영역으로 옮긴 후 처리하게 함으로써, 크레인의 이동거리와 간섭을 최소화할 수 있도록 하였다. 시뮬레이션 시스템을 이용한 실험을 통해, 제안 방안이 작업 영역을 구분하지 않는 기존 방안에 비해 터미널의 생산성을 크게 향상 시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.
