  • 본 연구에서는 일반적인 평벨트 구동의 Eytelwein식을 이용하여 가공물이 풀리와 풀리사이의 벨트에서 연삭되는 벨트 접촉식 연삭에서 벨트 장력분포를 이론 및 실험적으로 구하고 벨트와 풀리사이의 내접촉 특성을 밝혀 벨트 연삭장치의 효율 개선을 위한 설계자료를 구하고자 하였다.

  • Proper amount of entrained air and nip force should be also considered to minimize ballooning phenomenon since tight contact between a roller and web is required. In this paper, various web materials, PET(Polyester) and OPP(Oriented Poly Propylene) have been selected and investigated to satisfy high-speed printing requirement. Several web speeds, web tensions, and temperature conditions are imposed on each web materials and the pressure and gap profiles as well as nip force have been calculated. Increase of both the winding roller radius and the incoming wrap angle is considered under proper taper tension at 500 m/min of rewinding roller. By solving coupled Reynolds equation and web deflection equation simultaneously, the fluid-structure interaction process has been developed and is applied to the rewinding roller to investigate the ballooning phenomenon which causes guiding problems in high-speed printing performance conditions. By adjusting the linear taper tension, stress distribution between rewinding webs can be remarkably reduced and stable pressure and gap profile with ignorable ballooning phenomenon have been found.

Wetting Balance Test를 이용한 솔더의 젖음성 분석 (Wettability Analysis of Solders using Wetting Balance Test)

  • Recently, there has been a continuous researches on solders having sophisticated and improved performance due to demand for high-density and miniaturization of electronics, and development of solder for automotive electronics which can be used in harsh environment. When developing a new solder alloy, there is a wettability of solder on substrate for things to consider, and the wetting balance test is one of the methods for measuring that one. In this paper, the wetting balance test is introduced, and the calculus of the surface tension of solder and the contact angle between solder and substrate using wetting curve obtained is introduced too. In detail, the principle and test method of the wetting balance test, the introduction of the parameters with important meaning in the wetting curve, the method of calculating the contact angle as well as the surface tension of the solder using the shape of the solder meniscus.

비불소계 폴리스테아릴메타크릴레이트 발수제의 합성과 발수특성 (Synthesis of Non-fluorinated Polystearyl methacrylate Water Repellent and Its Properties on Textile Fibers)

  • A non-fluorinated polystearyl methacrylate water repellent was synthesized by emulsion polymerization. The number and weight averaged molecular weights were obtained at around 137,277 and 237,754g/mole. The melting point was observed at $32^{\circ}C$. The contact angle of water droplet on fabrics treated with the water repellent was $140{\sim}145^{\circ}$ for cotton and polyester, and $125{\sim}130^{\circ}$ for wool and nylon. Since the critical surface tension was estimated at 20.7mN/m, even though relatively not so strong as fluorinated water repellent, it is considered to be used as a good water repellent practically.

  • The main purmose of this study is to establish the corelatione between the ink receptivity and the surface 초\ulcorner岺\ulcornerparamenters in the presence of the dampening solution in the Lithographic Printing. The surface chemical parametere are calculated from the components (dispersion part and polar part) of which the surface tension of various surfaces acd ink are estimated from the contact angle The conclusions are; 1) the receptivity of ink depends on the value of polar part of surface tension, ; and ink, ;and decreases as the value of and increase, 2) the adherence of ink depends on the value of ink and dampening solution, and decreases as the value of dampening solution, decreases on the image area.

  • Flat specimens of polycrystal Ni-base superalloy with U-shape notch on both sides were laser cladded by injection of IN738LC powder onto surface. The quality of cladding was investigated by microstructural analysis and high temperature tension test, creep test at 950$^{\circ}C$. Effects of heat treahnent and the angle between the tension axis and the direction of weldment were also investigated.

보강 섬유의 배향각에 대한 확률밀도함수를 고려한 ECC내의 섬유 가교 모델 (Fiber Bridging Model Considering Probability Density Function of Fiber Inclined Angle in Engineered Cementitious Composites)

  • 섬유 가교 곡선은 섬유보강 시멘트 복합체의 인장 거동을 예측하고 분석하는데 중요한 요인이다. 이 연구의 목적은 ECC에서 섬유 배향각의 분포와 섬유 개수를 정량적으로 고려할 수 있는 섬유 가교 모델을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 먼저 섬유 배향각과 섬유 개수를 정량적으로 고려할 수 있는 섬유 가교 모델을 유도하였다. 섬유 배향각과 섬유 개수는 이미지 프로세싱 기법을 사용하여 계측하였다. 이미지 분석을 통하여 계측한 섬유 배향각에 대한 확률밀도함수와 섬유 개수는 섬유 배향각을 2차원이나 3차원에 무작위로 분포된 것으로 가정하는 것과 큰 차이를 보였다. 이는 타설방법이나 유동흐름에 따라 섬유 분포 특성이 영향을 받기 때문으로, 모델의 검증을 위해 정확한 섬유분포 특성을 파악할 필요가 있다. 따라서 이미지 프로세싱 방법으로 계측한 섬유 분포 특성을 근간으로 보강섬유의 배향각과 단면 내 섬유 개수를 고려하여 얻은 섬유 가교 곡선으로 1축 인장 거동을 모사하였다. 모사한 1축 인장 거동은 실험 결과와 유사하게 다중 균열과 변형률 경화 거동을 보이는 등 1축 인장 거동을 정확히 나타낼 수 있는 것으로 검증되었다.

  • The K-R design curve is an engineering method of linear-elastic fracture analysis under plane-stress loading conditions. By the way, linear-elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) is valid only as long as nonlinear material deformation is confined to a small region surrounding the crack tip. Like general steels, it is virtually impossible to characterize the fracture behavior with LEFM, in many materials. Critical values of J contour integral or crack tip opening displacement (CTOD) give nearly size independent measures of fracture toughness, even for relatively large amounts of crack tip plasticity. Furthermore, the crack tip opening displacement is the only parameter that can be directly measured in the fracture test. On the other. the crack tip opening angle (CTOA) test is similar to CTOD experimentally. Moreover, the test is easier to measure the fracture toughness than other method. The shape of the CTOA curve depends on material fracture behavior and, on the opening configuration of the cracked structure. CTOA parameter describes crack tip conditions in elastic-plastic materials, and it can be used as a fracture criterion effectively. In this paper, CTOA test is performed for steel JS-SS400 hot-rolled thin plates under plane-stress loading conditions. Special experimental apparatuses are used to prevent specimens from buckling and to measure crack tip opening angle for thin compact tension (CT) specimens.

디젤-가솔린 혼합연료의 혼합안정성 및 거시적인 분무 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Mixing Stability and Macroscopic Spray Characteristics of Diesel-gasoline Blended Fuels)

  • The study is to investigate the mixing stability, fuel properties, and macroscopic spray characteristics of diesel-gasoline blended fuels in a common-rail injection system of a diesel engine. The test fuels were mixed diesel with gasoline fuel, which were based volume fraction of gasoline from 0 to 100% in 20% intervals. In order to analyze the blended effect of gasoline to diesel fuel, the properties of test fuels such as density, viscosity, and surface tension were measured. In addition, the spray behavior characteristics were studied by investigating the spray tip penetration and spray angle using a spray images through a spray visualization system. It was revealed that the density, kinematic viscosity and surface tension of diesel-gasoline blending fuels were decreased with the increase of gasoline fuel. The injection quantity of test fuels were almost similar level at short energizing duration condition. On the other hand, the increase of energizing duration shows the decrease of injection quantity compared to short energizing duration. The test blending fuels have similar growth in Spray tip penetration and Spray cone angle.
