This study was performed to obtain the basic data which can be applied to use of foaming mortars. The results obtained were summarized as follows ; 1. The lowest water-cement ratios were shown at the mixing ratio of 1 : 1. But, it was gradually increased in poorer mixing ratio and decreased in more addition of foaming agent. The water-cement ratios were decreased up to 1.6-53.1% by mix-foaming type and 4.4-24.1% by pre-foamed type than cement mortar. 2. The highest bulk densities were shown at the mixing ratio of 1 : 1. But, it was gradually decreased in poorer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. The decreasing rates of bulk densities were increased in richer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. 3. The bulk densities were decreased up to 38.8-55.9% by mix-foaming type and 9.7-23.6% by pre-foamed type than cement mortar. 4. The lowest absorption rates were shown at the mixing ratio of 1 : 1. But, it was gradually increased in poorer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. The increasing rates of absorption rates were increased in richer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. 5. Absorption rates when immersed in 72hours were shown up to 3.41-5.85 times greater by mix-foaming type and 1.05-1.55 times greater by pre-foamed type than those of cement mortar. it was significantly higher at the early stage of immersed time than cement mortar. 6. The highest strengths were shown at the mixing ratio of 1 : 1. But, it was gradually decreased in poorer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. The decreasing rates of strengths were increased in poorer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. 7. The strengths were decreased up to 77.0-92.8% by mix-foaming type and 36.7-74.4% by pre-foamed type than cement mortar. 8. The lowest air contents were shown at the mixing ratio of 1 : 1. But, it was gradually increased in poorer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. The increasing rates of air contents were increased in richer mixing ratio and more addition of foaming agent. 9. Air contents were shown up to 26.0-63.8 times greater by mix-foaming type and 5.8-17.7 times greater by pre-foamed type than those of cement mortar. 10. The correlations between bulk density, absorption rate, compressive strength and air content were highly significant. The multiple regression equations of bulk density, absorption rate, compressive strength, tensile strength, bending strength and air content were computed depending on a function of mixing ratio and addition of foaming agent. They were generally highly significant.
Statement of problems: Self-etch adhesives exhibit some clinical benefits such as ease of manipulation and reduced technique-sensitivity. Nevertheless, some concern remains regarding the bonding effectiveness of self-etch adhesives to enamel, in particular when so-called 'mild' self-etch adhesives are employed. This study compared the microtensile bond strengths to ground enamel of the two-step self-etch adhesive Clearfil SE Bond (Kuraray) to the three-step etch-and- rinse adhesive Scotchbond Multi-Purpose (3M ESPE) and the one-step self-etch adhesive iBond (Heraeus Kulzer). Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a preceding phosphoric acid conditioning step on the bonding effectiveness of a two-step self-etch adhesive to ground enamel. Material and methods: The two-step self-etch adhesive Clearfil SE Bond non-etch group, Clearfil SE Bond etch group with prior 35% phosphoric acid etching, and the one-step self-etch adhesive iBond group were used as experimental groups. The three-step etch-and-rinse adhesive Scotchbond Multi-Purpose was used as a control group. The facial surfaces of bovine incisors were divided in four equal parts cruciformly, and randomly distributed into each group. The facial surface of each incisor was ground with 800-grit silicon carbide paper. Each adhesive group was applied according to the manufacturer's instructions to ground enamel, after which the surface was built up using Light-Core (Bisco). After storage in distilled water at

Weight loss in steaming for W.L. at
Drilling position is one of the most important factors affecting on the blasting effects. There has been many reports on several blasting factors of burn-cut by Messrs. Brown and Cook, but in this study the author tried to compare drilling positions of burn-cut to pyramid-cut, and also to correlate burn-cut effects of drilling patterns, not being dealt by Prof. Ito in his theory, which emphasized on dynamical stress analysis between explosion and free face. According to former theories, there break out additional tensile stress reflected at the free face supplemented to primary compressive stress on the blasting with one-free-face. But with these experimented new drilling patterns of burn-cut, more free faces and nearer distance of each drilling holes make blasting effects greater than any other methods. To promote the above explosive effect rationary, it has to be considered two important categories under-mentioned. First, unloaded hole in the key holes should be drilled in wider diameter possibly so that it breaks out greater stress relief. Second, key holes possibly should have closer distances each other to result clean blasting. These two important factors derived from experiments with, theories of that the larger the dia of the unloaded hole, it can be allowed wider secondary free faces and closes distances of each holes make more developed stress relief, between loaded and unloaded holes. It was suggested that most ideal distance between holes is about 4 clearance in U. S. A., but the author, according to the experiments, it results that the less distance allow, the more effective blasting with increased broken rock volume and longer drifted length can be accomplished. Developed large hole burn-cut method aimed to increase drifting length technically under the above considerations, and progressive success resulted to achieve maximum 7 blasting cycles per day with 3.1m drifting length per cycle. This achievement originated high-speed-drifting works, and it was also proven that application of Metallic AN-FO on large hole burn-cut method overcomes resistance of one-free-face. AN-FO which was favored with low price and safety handling is the mixture of the fertilizer or industrial Ammonium-Nitrate and fuel oil, and it is also experienced that it shows insensible property before the initiation, but once it is initiated by the booster, it has equal explosive power of Ammonium Nitrate Explosives (ANE). There was many reports about AN-FO. On AN-FO mixing ratio, according to these experiments, prowdered AN-FO, 93.5 : 6.5 and prilled AN-FO 94 : 6, are the best ratios. Detonation, shock, and friction sensities are all more insensitive than any other explosives. Residual gas is not toxic, too. On initation and propagation of the detonation test, prilled AN-FO is more effective than powered AN-FO. AN-FO has the best explosion power at 7 days elapsed after it has mixed. While AN-FO was used at open pit in past years prior to other conditions, the author developed new improved explosives, Metallic AN-FO and Underwater explosive, based on the experiments of these fundmental characteristics by study on its usage utilizing AN-FO. Metallic AN-FO is the mixture of AN-FO and Al, Fe-Si powder, and Underwater explosive is made from usual explosive and AN-FO. The explanations about them are described in the other paper. In this study, it is confirmed that the blasting effects of utilizing AN-FO explosives are very good.
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70
