The Causal Relationship between Telecommunications Standardization Investment and Economic Growth (정보통신 표준화 투자와 경제성장간의 인과관계 분석)

  • We examine the causal relationship between telecommunication standardization investment and the sale of telecommunication industry by using Granger causality model. Statistically, we show that telecommunication standardization investment precedes the sale of telecommunication industry. As a result we suggest that the investment on telecommunication standardization should be proceed to promote the sale of telecommunication industry.

In the scope and method of this study there must invalve following two items: 1) the first item is about the telecommunication Network System. 2) the second item is about the telecommunication network policy in future. The results of study is as follow: 1) an establishment of middle-long range planning for the telecommunication network 2) an establishment of the organization of society for system telecommunication network.

  • This paper proposes the selection model of the telecommunication company using an analytical hierarchy technique. When selecting a telecommunication company, consumers conflict the difficulty in decision-making because there are many competitive and complementary factors of telecommunication companies. To select an optimum telecommunication company, consumers need to consider a number of different quantitative and qualitative factors such as fare, various services, additional function and so on. In this study, we develop the method for selecting the telecommunication company considering various factors to help consumers' decision-making for their benefits.

  • 본 논문에서는 상명대학교 통신망 구성과 그 현황 자료를 수집하여 분석하였고, 통신망 트래픽 측정 분석도구를 이용하여 통신망의 트래픽 흐름과 각 장비들의 동작방식과 성능을 측정하였다. 수강신청기간에 트래픽 흐름과 부하량에 대해 성능평가를 하였으며, 몇몇의 장비들을 추가/변경하여 트래픽을 분산시키는 방안을 제안하여 효율적인 통신망 설계 방안을 제시하였다.

  • Electronic and telecommunication industries are constantly trying to develop compact components having high power density. Therefore, a proper heat dissipation method is very important to allow reliable operation of the telecommunication equipment. In this study, a hybrid refrigeration system for a telecommunication equipment room was designed to save energy consumption and improve reliability of the compressor In addition, the performance of the hybrid refrigeration system was measured with a variation of outdoor load. The designed hybrid refrigeration system for the telecommunication equipment shelter saved the energy approximately 50%e at the mode switch temperature of $8.3^{\circ}C$.

  • The education system is the communication field should be based on the characteristics of communication science and the function of manpower. However, the current education system at the level of college is insufficient and irrational to meet the requirements of the telecommunication field in our country. The main reasons are as follows: 1. Misunderstanding the characteristics of communication science. 2. Indiscretion of the categories of communication manpower due to lack of coordination between academic circles and communication industrial field. Telecommunication function could be performed only by combining the engineering and the suitable operational control. The communication engineering is similar to the electronic engineering, but the former should follow the miscellaneous international protocol and the domestic regulations, being only a means for the telecommunication function. In order to improve the education system of communiation, we aim to identify the principle of communication science, orthodoxy of the education, the categories of communication industrial field and manpower. The present system has been formed on the basis of ignoring the attributes of manpower and historical background of communication science. Therefore, this paper proposes to set up new departmental organizations for educating communication manpower as the following: In addition, this paper proposes a new curriculum model of the above twodept, and we believe that it well turn out more scientific, effective and reasonable education for the communication science. 1. Modification of the present formation, designated Electronic Communication Department. 2. New formation model: A. The best future model such as establishing ad independent telecommunication college which is composed of : Dept. of Radiocommunication Dept. of Telecommunication Enginnering Dept. of Communication Industrial management Dept. of Transmission Engineering Dept. of Telecommunication Law B. An immediately practicable proposal model instead of the existin Dept.. which is composed of the first two Dept. of the above five Dept. In addition, this paper proposes a new curriculum model of the above two dept. and we believe that it will turn out the education for the communication science to be more scientific, effective and reasonable.
