기술기반 창업 활성화를 위한 이공계 창업교육에 관한 연구 (A Study of Entrepreneurship Education of University in Science and Engineering for Vitalization of Technology-based Startup)

  • Entrepreneurship has been considered as an engine to lead economy, which has been resulting in a focus on entrepreneurship education to promote entrepreneurship. This paper focuses on science and engineering students, and analyzes the relationship between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship level. The response results of 950 students (34 universities) were as follows. First, the entrepreneurship level of science and engineering students are a little high but not as significant more than non-science and engineering. Second, science and engineering students have an impact on the level of entrepreneurship about entrepreneurship courses. Third, entrepreneurship courses and clubs have an effect on entrepreneurship level. As a conclusion, we have to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education, recognize startup as a credit, and build up entrepreneurship education ecosystem through the local area network.

  • 기존의 창업교육은 창업단계에 따라 창업을 위한 교과목 선정과 커리큘럼 중심의 연구를 수행하여 왔다. 하지만 창업교육을 시행함에 있어 국내 창업교육은 이론중심으로 진행되며, 현실기반의 내용이 부족하다. 기술, 경영, 법률 등은 창업에 필수적인 요소들로서 이들을 통합하여 교육할 수 있는 학제적 접근방법이 부족한 현실이다. 본 연구는 이러한 창업교육의 한계를 외국의 창업프로그램 사례(TI:GER)를 통하여 국내 환경에 적용하여 대학원 수준의 학제적 프로그램 설계를 제언하여 해결방안을 모색하는데 있다. 창업대학원, 법학전문대학원, 공대 및 자연대 대학원간 개별 대학원의 전공특성을 융합하여 HUMANE 이라는 하나의 프로그램으로 구성하여 운영, 이러한 학제적인 프로그램을 운영하여 새로운 방식의 창업교육 모델을 제시해보고자 한다.

  • The outcomes of entrepreneurship studies have been tried to help the entrepreneurs in start-up stages, but the outcomes of the entrepreneurship research are not fully utilized to guide the activities of the entrepreneurs in start-up businesses. To utilize the outcomes of entrepreneurship research for helping entrepreneurs effectively, an entrepreneurship ontology, a systemized specification of the knowledge in the entrepreneurship research, has to be established, Based on the entrepreneurship ontology, the knowledge of entrepreneurial processes can be illustrated, and a diagnosis and coaching system for the entrepreneurs can be built effectively. To establish an entrepreneurship ontology, this study investigates the intellectual structure of entrepreneurship studies by analyzing the contents of top journals in entrepreneurship field, and identifies the relationship among the key concepts through bibliometric analyses based on entrepreneurship corpus, This study suggests a method of establishing entrepreneurship ontology and utilization of the ontology. Through utilization of the entrepreneurship ontology, it is expected to explain the entrepreneurial processes effectively and to improve the rate of business success.

The Activation of University Entrepreneurship Education for Market Distribution: Implication for the Developing Countries

  • Purpose: The importance of entrepreneurship education is increasing as interest in entrepreneurship is increasing around the world. In addition to the US and Europe, which operate advanced entrepreneurship education programs, Korea is also investing a lot of government resources for university centered entrepreneurship education. On the other hand, developing countries, which have high interest in Korea's economic development, are also trying to benchmark this Korean university entrepreneurship education. Research design, data and methodology: This study systematizes experiences such as training on entrepreneurship, science park management, and policy consulting for science, technology parks, and universities in developing countries. Through this, the needs of the relevant countries are analyzed based on the results of previous research, related theories, and policies. Results: As a result of the analysis, four key elements were derived for the establishment of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship ecosystem in developing countries. In addition, the details that these elements can be used in the university entrepreneurship ecosystem are presented in the form of tasks in stages. Conclusions: This study presents factors, including entrepreneurship-based leadership and human resources, structure and program, domestic and international network, and budget as a plan for revitalizing entrepreneurship education in developing countries.

  • This study was conducted to empirically verify the effect of the technological entrepreneurship, network capability and technological innovation capability on the innovative performance of technology-based start-ups with the aim of determining the success factors of technology-based start-ups by defining the success of technology-based start-ups as the innovative performance through technology innovation activities. For the significance of this study, it suggested the importance of technology innovation as a survival strategy of technology-based start-ups, verified the dimensions, relationship and roles of technological entrepreneurship, network capability and technology innovation capability, thereby proving the theoretical expansion. This study has determined the success factors of technology-based start-ups and thereby suggested the strategic directions for enhancing the competitiveness of technology-based start-ups.

  • Digital technology has become a new economic and social force, reshaping traditional business models, strategies, structures, and processes. This is a challenge for human capital to develop continuously in this dynamic era; one of the solutions is digital entrepreneurship. Digital entrepreneurship focuses on creating new ventures and transforming existing businesses by developing novel digital technologies or novel usage. Further, digital technology has also enabled the growth of the sharing economy, linking owners and users, and disrupting the previous dualism of businesses and customers. This paper provides a novel contribution regarding the emerging concept of Digital Entrepreneurship. Based on a qualitative literature review and interview with university staff, lecturers, and students in four large public and private universities in West Java and DIY Province, an interpretative framework for Digital Entrepreneurship has been proposed, which comprises of the following components: motivation (the rationale for the adoption of digital technology for academic entrepreneurship), stakeholders (the stakeholders involved through digital technology to achieve the academic entrepreneurship goal), process (the processes of academic entrepreneurship supported by digital technologies), and business form (the emerging forms of digital academic entrepreneurship). This research also shows several alternative government policies to improve digital entrepreneurship in the academic environment.

창업교육을 위한 프로그램 개발과제 (Program Development for Entrepreneurship Education)

  • 창업교육에 대한 관심이 늘고 있다. 대학원만이 아니라 대학교육에도 정부는 창업교육을 강화하도록 요구하고 있다. 하지만 대학의 창업교육은 교양수준이거나 경영학의 틀을 크게 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 또한 창업 중심의 대학원 교육도 기능별 중심의 교육으로 진행되어 과목간의 상호연계가 부족한 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 학부와 대학원의 창업교육 현황을 살피고, 해외대학의 사례분석을 통해 창업교육 방향을 제안하고 있다. 특히 프로세스 중심의 교육을 하고 있는 대학을 중심으로 알고리즘 기반의 창업교육 방향을 제시하고 있다. 마지막으로 기술-제품-시장의 틀을 기반으로한 기술창업사업화(TEC) 프로그램의 도입과 확산을 제안하고 있다.

지역연계 대학창업교육 방향 연구 (A Study on the Direction of Entrepreneurship Education in Universities linked to Community)

  • 시대의 흐름에 따라 창업자본주의(Entrepreneurial Aapitalism)의 경향을 보이고 있는 현대사회에서 혁신적인 아이디어와 도전정신을 바탕으로 글로벌 진출을 도모하는 소규모 기업 또는 개인 창업자의 역동적인 창업활동은 창업생태계(Entrepreneurial Ecosystem)에서 새로운 성장 동력 창출로 이어진다. 이에 따라 우리나라 정부에서도 대학 창업을 촉진하기 위한 노력으로 '대학창업교육 5개년 계획(2013-2017)'과 '2015년도 정부 창업지원 효율화 방안', 그리고 '산학협력 활성화 5개년 기본계획(2016-2020)'등을 발표하였고, 대학과 연구소 등에서도 창업 활성화에 대한 많은 노력을 기울이고 있지만 여전히 현실적인 한계가 존재한다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위한 방안으로 본 연구에서는 대학 창업교육의 체계화를 목적으로 변화하는 대학의 역할과 클러스터(cluster), 그리고 창업교육에 대한 이론을 고찰한다. 또한, 미국 혁신대학의 대표적 사례를 중심으로 창의적인 대학 문화의 요인을 살펴보고, '창업 성공'과는 다른 '성공적인 창업'을 목적으로 클러스터 관점의 창업교육에 대한 개념적 프레임워크를 제시하고자 한다. 대학 기술기반의 창업 활성화를 위한 통합적 창업교육 플랫폼 구축의 기조(基調)가 되는 클러스터 관점의 창업교육에 대한 개념적 프레임워크는 관련 이론과 사례를 바탕으로 창의적 문화 구축과 효과적인 혁신 창출에 필요한 인재, 기술, 관용이라는 세 가지 요소의 역할이 중심이 되어 창업교육에 수반되어야 할 지역의 창업자원, 창업정책, 그리고 리더십의 클러스터링을 강조하고 있다.

  • As the need for entrepreneurship to create new values and innovate in the rapidly changing social environment is emerging, education for entrepreneurial is emerging in university education. The purpose of this study is to understand the current status of entrepreneurship education and to derive the priority of education based on actual indicators of importance-performance. For this study, we surveyed 227 female college students in E Woman's University by using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method for entrepreneurship factors. The result showed that the means of importance of all factors and sub-factors of entrepreneurship were higher than the means of performance of them, and the difference was statistically significant except for the determination. In addition, the results of the IPA matrix analysis showed that the factors that needed urgent improvement in self-confidence, future-orientation, active/innovative activities, and proactivity. Based on the results of this study, the implications of the development of entrepreneurship curriculum for college students in engineering field were discussed. This study is meaningful that it provided practical basic information of curriculum design leading to the manifestation of entrepreneurship of women in engineering field by analyzing entrepreneurship of female engineering students and deriving priority factors of educational treatment.

Nonlinear Relationship Between Technological Entrepreneurship and National Competitiveness: The Moderation Effect of Innovation-driven Economy

  • 이 연구는 국가경쟁력을 향상시키는 조건으로서 기술창업의 역할에 대해 분석한다. 기업가의 지식확산이론(Knowledge Spillover Theory of Entrepreneurship)을 기반으로, 국가 내 기술기반 창업의 비중이 국가경쟁력을 높이는 데 어떠한 영향을 주는지 분석한다. 또한 국가경제개발 단계 측면에서 혁신주도형경제(Innovation-driven economy)에 해당되는 경우 국가경쟁력에 미치는 기술창업의 영향력이 어떻게 조절되는지 살펴본다. 2011년부터 2014년까지 83개 국가의 기술창업, 국가경쟁력지수, 경제개발단계 등의 데이터를 기반으로 분석한 결과, 국가 내 기술창업비율은 국가경쟁력과 U자형 관계를 가진다는 점을 확인했다. 또한 국가 발전단계 상 혁신주도형경제에 해당되는 국가의 경우 이 관계는 강화되는 방향으로 조절되는 점을 확인했다. 이 연구는 기술 기반의 창업 비율이 증가할수록 국가경쟁력에 무조건 긍정적 영향을 미치지 않으며 상황과 조건이 잘 맞아야 함을 강조한다.
