  • I'm going to endow with any characters to the mixed history of Korean Contemporary Architecture, and rearrange the relations between motive of transfer and the ideology which is concluded in expression through considering the transitional period which is based on the modernity, tradition and additional area such as ideology, politics, technology, literature, sculpture and painting etc. This abstract explain only characters of revivalism in Korean Contemporary Architecture. Revivalism have some complexed nationalistic leanings. Our transitional succession returned to revivalism that is limitted by its form. Of course, that is dued to complexed operating such as the Ideal Nationalism against the severance of our culture which had been done by Japan, the Superior Nationalism which is developed by antagonism of our own ideology was dued to dividing into sections of our own country, and the Resistant Nationalism against foreign culture.

  • With the extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography, the performance limit of chemically amplified resists has recently been extended to 16- and 11-nm nodes. However, the line edge roughness (LER) and the line width roughness (LWR) are not reduced automatically with this performance extension. In this paper, to investigate the impacts of the EUVL mask and the EUVL exposure process on LER, EUVL is modeled using multilayer-thin-film theory for the mask structure and the Monte Carlo (MC) method for the exposure process. Simulation results demonstrate how LERs of the mask transfer to the resist and the exposure process develops the resist LERs.

  • The stress path characteristics of surrounding rock in the formation of gob were analysed and the unloading was solved. Taking Chengchao Iron Mine as the engineering background, the model for analysing the instability of deep gob was established based on the mechanism of stress relief in deep mining. The energy evolution law was investigated by introducing the local energy release rate index (LERR), and the energy criterion of instability of surrounding rock was established based on the cusp catastrophe theory. The results showed that the evolution equation of the local energy release energy of the surrounding rock was quartic function with one unknown and the release rate increased gradually during the mining. The calculation results showed that the gob was stable. The LERR per unit volume of the bottom structure was relatively smaller, which mean the stability was better. The LERR distribution showed that there was main energy release in the horizontal direction and energy concentration in the vertical direction which meet the characteristics of deep mining. In summary, this model could effectively calculate the stability of surrounding rock in the formation of gob. The LERR could reflect the dynamic process of energy release, transfer and dissipation which provided an important reference for the study of the stability of deep mined out area.

  • The Separation of two amino acids, phenylalanine and tryptophan, was carried out using laboratory simulated moving bed (SMB) chromatography. The SMB process consisted of four zones, with each zone having 2 columns. The triangle theory was used to obtain the operating conditions for the SMB. The mass transfer coefficients of the two amino acids were obtained from the best-fit values by comparing simulated and experimental pulse data. The competitive adsorption isotherms of the two amino acids were obtained by single and binary frontal analyses, taking into consideration the competition between the two components. A competitive Langmuir isotherm, obtained from single-component frontal chromatography, was used in the first run, and the isotherm from binary frontal chromatography in the second, with the flow rate of zone 1 modified to improve the purity. Compared to the first and second runs, the competitive Langmuir isotherm from the binary frontal chromatography Showed good agreement with the experimental results. Also, adjusting the flow rate in zone 1 increased the purity of the products. The purities of the phenylalanine in the raffinate and the tryptophan in the extract were 99.84 and $99.99\%$, respectively.

  • As research management is growing in importance for research organizations, their disciplinary structures need to be interpreted. However, it is not only difficult but ambiguous to detect causal relations between subjects because diverse disciplines interacting with each other lead the development of organizational research. Therefore, this article summarizes the major concepts and results recently achieved in the related fields such as research management, bibliographic analysis, information theory, and networks to characterize organizational knowledge structures. Relevant analytical methods obtained from the literature can be applied to empirical situations. Predictive causal relations can be measured using an information theoretic indicator on a series of organizational research portfolios identified from bibliographic information. A network approach would be suitable to manage organizational research effort from a holistic view. Knowledge structures of the Government-funded Research Institutes in Korea are explored experimentally.

  • As mentioned on the paper, this study does not tackle the issue of contention about different media mix. It rather analyzes the capability and intensity of new media created through the correlation of different media, and researches the intermediality relationship among media to create new type of fine quality media. Along with the development of digital technology, the intermediality relationship among painting, video media such as movie and animation has become active. Also, as the study examined, the mix of 'painting and movie', 'movie, animation, game' has blurred the boundary, and formed a mutual inevitable relationship. Thus, this study examined the transfer of media and correlation based on intermediality relationship insisted by Rajewski and Deleuze's theory. Deleuze's theory explains the relationship of being which analyzed the variation of media. As for the intermediality relationship of media, the study examined process of media combining and converting based on 3 types of category of Rajewski, "media combination, media conversion, intermedial relationship matching".

  • Inter-Korean Cooperation in Science and Technology will contribute to building the trust between S.K and N.K as a leading factor and cut down the cost of unification by diminishing the technology lag and the gap of economic level. This study has shown that we can increase the productivity of unified Korea Innovation system if we systematically analyse the present condition of the Inter-Korean Cooperation and promote Inter-Korean Cooperation. In this study, the author analyses the present condition of the Inter-Korean Cooperation with integrated framework of three aspects to clear up the policy of Inter-Korean Cooperation. First, in the national aspect, we make use of the notion of international cooperation and multilateral mechanism of an international organization. Thereafter, we make out the alternatives in the aspects of international relationship and legal and institutional view Second, in the unification aspect, we consider the Inter-Korean Cooperation by the notion of national innovation system. Thereafter, we make out the alternative in the aspect of a phase-dependent approach. Finally, in technology aspect, we consider the Inter-Korean Cooperation by the notion of technology gap, the framework of technology transfer, and technology dependency theory. As a conclusion, through this study, the author have tried to integrate the various theoretical backgrounds. As a result, the author could analyse the present condition of ter-Korean Cooperation in Science and Technology and team a good lesson from it; Therefore, we can use it as a means of evaluation on a cooperation program and prediction for the future status of cooperation.

  • $CO_2$ adsorption on mineral sorbents has a potential to sequester $CO_2$. This study used a density functional theory (DFT) study of $CO_2$ adsorption on barium oxide (BaO) in the presence of $H_2O$ to determine the role of $H_2O$ on the $CO_2$ adsorption properties on the ($2{\times}2$; $11.05\;{\AA}{\times}11.05\;{\AA}$) BaO (100) surface because BaO shows a high reactivity for $CO_2$ adsorption and the gas mixture of power plants generally contains $CO_2$ and $H_2O$. We investigated the adsorption properties (e.g., adsorption energies and geometries) of a single $CO_2$ molecule, a single $H_2O$ molecule on the surface to achieve molecular structures and molecular reaction mechanisms. In order to evaluate the coordinative effect of $H_2O$ molecules, this study also carried out the adsorption of a pair of $H_2O$ molecules, which was strongly bounded to neighboring (-1.91 eV) oxygen sites and distant sites (-1.86 eV), and two molecules ($CO_2$ and $H_2O$), which were also firmly bounded to neighboring sites (-2.32 eV) and distant sites (-2.23 eV). The quantum mechanical calculations show that $H_2O$ molecule does not influence on the chemisorption of $CO_2$ on the BaO surface, producing a stable carbonate due to the strong interaction between the $CO_2$ molecule and the BaO surface, resulting from the high charge transfer (-0.76 e).

  • The high temperature deformation behavior of SiCp/2124Al composite and 2124Al alloy was investigated by hot compression test in a temperature ranged $400~475^{\circ}C$ over a strain rate ranged $10^{-3}~1s^{-1}$. The billets of 2124Al alloy and SiCp/2124Al composite were fabricated by vacuum hot pressing process. The stress-strain curve during high temperature deformation exhibited a peak stress, and then the flow stress decreased gradually into a steady state stress with increasing the strain. It was found that the flow-softening behavior was attributed to the dynamic recovery, local dynamic recrystallization and dynamic precipitation during the deformation. The precipitation phases were identified as S' and S by TEM diffraction pattern. Base on the TEM inspection, the relationship between the Z-H parameter and subgrain size was found based on the experiment data. The dependence of flow stress on temperature and strain rate could be formulated well by a hyperbolic-sinusoidal relationship using the Zener-Hollomon parameter.

  • The infrared reflection coatings with pigment can be used to protect the surfaces of combustible materials exposed to fire. To obtain high reflectivities in the infrared range (0.5-10.mu.m) important to fire, several dielectric pigments, such as titanium dioxide, iron oxide, and silicon, can be synthesized to polymer coatings. The theoretical analysis shows that the coating design with particles diameter in the 1.5 to 2.5.mu.m range and volume fraction in the 0.1 to 0.2 range is estimated to be optimal. In the analysis of the radiation, the dependent scattering, absorption by polymeric binder, and the internal interface reflection are considered. In addition, the temperature distribution in the semi-transparent coating layer and an opaque substrate (PMMA) is also presented.
