신제품 개발 프로세스에 대한 기획 역량이 신제품 개발성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of NPD (New Product Development) Process Planning Proficiencies on NPD Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 프로세스 기획 역량이 신제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 한다. 특히, 프로세스 기획 역량이 개별적인 프로젝트의 성과가 아닌 제품군 전체의 성과에 미치는 영향력을 검증하였다. 둘째, 개발 역량 간 상호작용이 신제품 개발 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 국내 103개 제조기업으로부터 수집한 설문응답 분석에 기초하였다. 제품군 개발은 크게 두 가지 유형의 프로젝트 (플랫폼 및 파생제품 개발)으로 구분된다. 본 연구에서는 두 가지 프로젝트 유형 중, 제품군 성공의 중심적인 역할을 수행하는 플랫폼 제품을 중심으로 분석하였다. 본 연구결과 제품군의 기술적 성과 및 상업적 성과 향상을 위해 우수한 프로세스 기획 역량이 필요함을 보여준다. 또한 기술개발 역량은 기술적 성과에 직접적으로 유효한 영향을 미치지는 않지만, 프로세스 기획 역량과 상호작용을 통해 기술적 성과 향상에 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다.

R&D 전문가를 위한 인력관리 : 박사급 인력을 중심으로 (Human Resource Management for R&D Professionals with Ph.D. degree)

  • This study examines the personal characteristics, organizational attitudes, technical performances, and reward preferences of R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree in large private companies in Korea. Based on survey data from 887 professionals in nine different R&D organizations, the following results are found; 1) R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree exhibit higher autonomy preference, need for achievement, self-efficacy, technical career orientation, and performance proficiency than other R&D professionals; 2) As their organizational tenure increases, performance proficiency and transfer career orientation increases but their socialized level of organizational goals and values does not change; 3) They produce more technical publications and exhibit more positive organizational attitude than other R&D professionals; 4) They are more likely to prefer job content, professional, and job security rewards. These empirical findings suggest several theoretical and practical implications for the management of R&D professionals with Ph.D. degree in the large Korean firms.

직업기초능력평가 문제해결능력 영역에 대한 마이스터고 및 특성화고 교사와 학생의 인식 (Perception of Teachers and Students in Meister and Specialized Vocational High School on Problem Solving Ability Domain of Test for Enhanced Employ ability & Upgraded Proficiency)

  • The purpose of this study was to inquiry of perception of Meister high school and specialized vocational high school' teachers and students on problem solving ability domain of test for enhanced employ ability & upgraded proficiency. Research subjects and region were teachers and sophomore students of each one of Meister high schools and specialized vocational high schools in Gyeongsangnamdo and Gwangju region. The questionnaire was composed of 4 research areas. Research areas were demographic characteristics, questions aspects, operational and enforcement aspects and side support for the development of test for enhanced employ ability & upgraded proficiency. Teachers questionnaire were composed of 15 items and students questionnaire were composed of 8 items. Further the research were interviewed research and targets were teachers and students of Meister high school and specialized vocational high school. The samples(N=719) of teachers and students were drawn from 2 high schools and collected data were analyzed with SPSS. The results were as follows. Perception of Meister high school students regarded more items of test for enhanced employ ability & upgraded proficiency as appropriate than specialized vocational high school students. Perception of Meister high school students regarded more CBT system as appropriate than specialized vocational high school students. Perception of specialized vocational high school teachers regarded more items of level of difficulty, degree of completion, validity than Meister high school teachers.

기업에서 요구하는 직무수행능력에 대한 델파이 분석 (A Delphi Survey of Corporate Needs for Technical Skills)

  • This study presents the results of a delphi survey which is intended to identify technical skills that corporations expect of employees. A total of 300 managers from different businesses took part in the survey. To obtain the delphi data, a questionnaire of expected technical skills developed on the basis of previous research was used. The obtained data were analyzed in terms of frequency and other descriptive statistics. Eleven technical skills emerged as important ones in the corporate environment. In order of importance, subjects listed communication skills, business capabilities, negotiation skills, problem-solving ability, organizational adaptation, ability to gather and analyze relevant information, practical computer literacy, self-management, creativity, and foreign language proficiency.

직접 측정한 인체치수의 기술적 오차 분석 (Analysis of Technical Error of Manual Measurements)

  • Highly precision body measurements represent basic data required by industry and researches who wish to utilize information about the human body. The proficiency and expertise of the measurers have a significant influence on the error and accuracy of data when various parts from multiple subjects' bodies are measured. Therefore, in order to measure accurate body measurements (when measuring bodies directly), it is necessary to conduct objective analyses on errors. This study calculated the Relative Technical Error of Measurement (%TEM) using data that measured each of 24 subjects and discussed errors and methods to reduce errors by conducting comparison analysis based on measured items and objects. The result of analysis indicated that the errors based on age and gender of the objects of measurement were minor; however, there were comparatively distinct differences in measured errors based on measured items. 'Right and left Shoulder Angle' for all measured subjects displayed the greatest errors and standard deviations. 'Height' dimension, Lateral Malleolus Height and Head Height had big errors; in addition, 'Circumference', Neck Base Circumference and Armscye Circumference also had big errors. More careful measurements of such items with big errors require additional educational plan such as a proposal for more objective and detailed measurement methods. Items with small errors but big standard deviations such as Waist Circumference, Calf Circumference, Minimum Leg Circumference, Chest Circumference, Hip Circumference and Waist Circumference confirmed that errors for them greatly decreased with repeated experiments and resultant measurers increased proficiency; consequently, repeated measuring experiments for these items greatly enhance accuracy.

The Implications of Content Schemata for Standardized Reading Tests

  • This article reports that a testee's content schemata have detrimental effects on the validity of standardized reading comprehension tests. in case that the reading passages constitute his prior background knowledge framed by regular academic pursuits focused on a major field of study. The empirical research findings on such a reliability issue have shown that the Korean subjects' familiarity with the content domain of the reading materials may substantially enhance their test performance, operated as unfair advantages over the other participants at the same level of English proficiency who do not possess technical knowledge closely related to the contents of the test passages. Based on these results, it may be argued that the reading text should be composed of maximally neutral contents to every testee to avoid the possible overlapping between a test-taker's content schemata and the content domain of the materials. Therefore, this article claims that the tenets of schema theory with its long-standing foundation on culturally predetermined content and formal schemata need to be expanded to cover professional knowledge structures, like those acquired by higher education, as the hard-wired framework of an individual's original culture-specific background knowledge.

A Study on the Effect of Patents, Technical White Papers, and Source Codes on the Financing Performance at Initial Coin Offerings

  • Purpose: The objective of this research was to investigate how blockchain ventures can optimize their wealth through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Drawing upon signal theory, this study examined the impact of technological capabilities on the performance of ICOs in blockchain ventures. Given the highly technical nature of companies involved in ICOs, the technical proficiency of venture companies can have a significant influence on the success of ICOs. Specifically, three potential indicators of technological capability - patents, white papers, and source code - were analyzed. Research design, data and methodology: To accomplish this, a database was constructed by coding the relevant variables from various sources for 514 companies that launched ICOs. This study conducted hierarchical regression analysis for the hypotheses test. Results: The results indicated that a blockchain venture with a patent had a positive effect on the performance of the ICO. Additionally, publishing source code had a positive impact on ICO performance. Conclusions: This study identifies crucial factors for ICO success, emphasizing the importance of technological capabilities. Companies should enhance these to boost investor confidence, transparency, and outcomes. This research offers valuable insights for businesses and policymakers in the evolving cryptocurrency market, aiming to maximize ICO performance and success.

폴리프로필렌 수지 중 카드뮴과 납 측정 숙련도시험 (Proficiency testing of cadmium and lead in polypropylene resin)

  • 최근의 전기전자제품 중 유해물질규제지침(RoHS)이나 폐전기전자제품 처리 지침(WEEE) 등의 각종 환경규제는 국제교역에 있어 실질적인 무역장벽으로 작용하고 있다. 한국표준과학연구원(KRISS)에서는 이와 같은 환경규제와 관련하여 국내시험연구기관 및 관련산업체실험실의 측정 신뢰성 확보를 위한 숙련도 시험을 실시하였다. 참여기관은 국내 전기전자 제품 및 자동차 관련 실험실 31개소이다. 숙련도시험용 시료는 pellet type 폴리프로필렌 소재 2 종이며, 측정대상원소는 유럽공동체의 RoHS 지침에서 규정하고 있는 6개 성분 중 카드뮴 (Cd)과 납 (Pb)이다. 시료는 2006년 9월 1일 각 참여실험실에 우편 송부하였으며 10월 10일까지 측정 결과를 접수하였다. 각 실험실의 측정 결과는 KRISS 기준값과의 비교, Robustic Z-score, Youden plot 등에 의해 비교 평가하고 전처리 방법에 따른 측정 결과도 비교 검토하였다. 전반적으로 기준값과의 10% 범위 내에서 일치되는 결과를 보고하였으나 일부 실험실은 심각한 bias를 보이고 있어 측정결과의 신뢰성 향상을 위한 품질보증 시스템을 갖추어야 할 필요가 있다.

이공계열 대학원생의 영어 논문 작성 실태 및 연구윤리에 관한 인식 조사: 서울대학교 사례를 중심으로 (An Analysis of Technical English Writing and Research Ethics of Graduate Students in Science and Engineering Colleges: The Case of Seoul National University)

  • 본 연구는 이공계열 대학원생들의 영어논문 작성 능력에 관한 실태를 조사하고 연구 윤리에 대한 인식을 조사하고자 수행되었다. 이공계열의 경우, 학위 논문을 비롯한 학술지 논문을 영어로 작성하는 것이 일반화된 환경에서 이공계열 대학원생들의 영어 논문 작성에 대한 경험과 준비 정도, 실태 및 연구 윤리와 표절에 대한 인식 정도를 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 이공계열 대학원생의 연구 윤리에 관한 인식이 매우 부족하여 이에 대한 교육이 시급히 강화되어야 함을 확인하였다. 특히 참고 문헌의 인용 범위에 관하여 정확히 모르고 있는 경우도 많아서 인용 범위와 방법에 대한 교육과 훈련이 요구된다. 본 연구 결과는 추후 이공계열 대학원생들의 영어논문 작성 능력을 향상시키기 위하여 학교에서 제공할 교육과정과 지원 방안을 모색하는데 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

경영정보학과 졸업자들에 대한 기업의 만족도 : C 대학에 대한 사례 연구 (Satisfaction of Firms with the MIS Department Graduates : The Case Study of C University)

  • This research surveys how much firms are satisfied with the graduates of the MIS Department of C University. The subjects of this research are the graduates of the department who are working as full time workers and their supervisors, coworkers and subordinate workers evaluate how much they are satisfactory regarding their ability and knowledge to do their jobs successfully. The subjects are classified into IS practitioners and non-IS practitioners based on the tasks they are currently taking charge of. The results show that the IT - related part of the curriculum of the department provides a relative advantage for non-IS practitioners and that the management-related part of the curriculum provides a relative advantage for IS practitioners. The results also show that the curriculum does not provide the graduates enough technical proficiency to develop a successful carrier as IS specialists.
