  • The research for coatings is one of the most popular and active research in the polymer industry. For the coatings, electronics industry, medical and optical fields are growing more important. In particular, the trend is the increasing of the technical requirements for the performance and accuracy of the coatings by the development of automotive and electronic parts. In addition, the industry has a need of more intelligent and automated system in the industry is increasing by introduction of the IoT and big data analysis based on the environmental information and the context information. In this paper, we propose an optimization model for the design of experiments based coating formulation data objects using the Internet technologies and big data analytics. In this paper, the coating formulation was calculated based on the best data analysis is based on the experimental design, modify the operator with respect to the error caused based on the coating formulation used in the actual production site data and the corrected result data. Further optimization model to correct the reference value by leveraging big data analysis and Internet of things technology only existing coating formulation is applied as the reference data using a manufacturing environment and context information retrieval in color and quality, the most important factor in maintaining and was derived. Based on data obtained from an experiment and analysis is improving the accuracy of the combination data and making it possible to give a LOT shorter working hours per data. Also the data shortens the production time due to the reduction in the delivery time per treatment and It can contribute to cost reduction or the like defect rate reduced. Further, it is possible to obtain a standard data in the manufacturing process for the various models.

  • SQL is the most common language in data processing. Therefore, most of the colleges offer SQL in their curriculum. In this research, an auto scoring SQL test is proposed for the efficient results of SQL education. The system was treated with algorithms instead of using expensive DBMS(Data Base Management System) for automatic scoring, and satisfactory results were produced. For this system, the test question bank was established out of 'personnel management' and 'academic management'. It provides users with different sets of test each time. Scoring was done by dividing tables into two sections. The one that does not change the table(select) and the other that actually changes the table(update, insert, delete). In the case of a search, the answer and response were executed at first and then the results were compared and processed, the user's answers are evaluated by comparing the table with the correct answer. Modification, insertion, and deletion of table actually changes the data table, so data was restored by using ROLLBACK command. This system was implemented and tested 772 times on the 88 students in Computer Information Division of our college. The results of the implementation show that the average scoring time for a test consisting of 10 questions is 0.052 seconds, and the performance of this system is distinguished considering that multiple responses cannot be processed at the same time by a human grader, we want to develop a problem system that takes into account the difficulty of the problem into account near future.

  • In this paper, we propose pre-arrangement based task scheduling scheme to reduce MapReduce job processing time. If a task and data to be processed do not locate in same node, the data should be transmitted to node where the task is allocated on. In that case, a job processing time increases owing to data transmission time. To avoid that case, we schedule tasks into two steps. In the first step, tasks are sorted in the order of high data locality. In the second step, tasks are exchanged to improve their data localities based on a location information of data. In performance evaluation, we compare the proposed method based Hadoop with a default Hadoop on a small Hadoop cluster in term of the job processing time and the number of tasks sorted to node without data to be processed by them. The result shows that the proposed method lowers job processing time by around 18%. Also, we confirm that the number of tasks allocated to node without data to be processed by them decreases by around 25%.

  • The COVID-19 virus has generated major shockwaves in all spheres of human life since its outbreak. Maritime transport (both cargo and passenger) is one of the industries most heavily affected, yet over 80% of the world cargo is transported by sea. This study analyzes maritime port operational efficiencies before and after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to determine whether the pandemic has caused major differences in the operational efficiencies of many leading Asian maritime container ports via data envelopment analysis (DEA). The results of both the CCR and BCC models reveal that overall, efficiency during the COVID-19 pandemic has been higher than before the pandemic despite a few inefficiencies. This implies that the pandemic has so far not has major consequences for the operational efficiency of maritime ports. However, two ports (Busan and Guangzhou) should adjust the scale sizes and technical capacities of their operations to improve performance.

  • In this study, the microstructure and thermal conductivity correlation was investigated for concrete materials used in concrete thermal energy storage (CTES) among real-time energy storage devices. Graphite was used as admixture to increase the thermal conductivity performance of the CTES. Concrete specimens of 10% and 15% substitution of cement by mass with graphite, as well as ordinary portland cement (OPC) specimens were prepared, and the microstructural changes and effects on thermal conductivity were analyzed. Porosities of OPC and concrete with graphite were compared using micro-CT, and the microstructural characteristics were quantified using probability functions. Three-dimensional virtual specimens were constructed for thermal analysis, to confirm the effect of microstructural characteristics on thermal conductivity, and the results were compared with the measured conductivity obtained using the hot-disc method. To identify thermal conductivity of graphite for thermal analysis, solid phase conductivity was inversely determined based on simulation and experimental results, and the effect of graphite on thermal conductivity was analyzed.

  • This paper investigates the most recent status of multi-GNSS, including technical features, types of ranging signals provided, and satellite constellation. Furthermore, a series of multi-GNSS positioning experiments in SPP mode were carried out to assess the achievable accuracy and continuity with an application to various positioning scenarios. A week of GNSS measurements each in 2018 and 2019 was acquired from the national geographical information institute and processed. The results show that a single GNSS-based scenario often encounters positioning blockage in the harsh operational environment, while multi-constellation cases are able to remedy this situation. The accuracy of multi-GNSS with a combination of GPS and Galileo is superior to that of other GNSS compositions due to the larger SISRE (Signal In Space Ranging Errors) of GLONASS and Beidou. Due to the different characteristics of GNSS SISRE, an issue has been raised to optimally integrate satellite measurements to maximize accuracy of multi-GNSS positioning.

  • This case study introduces the process of developing the technology rating evaluation model for investment. The technology evaluation rating model for investment is a project that the Financial Services Commission and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy collaborated to expand the scope of technology finance from loan to investment. The technology evaluation model for investment was developed with the aim of predicting high growth companies. The model consists of a statistical model and an expert model. Here, statistical models were modeled by using logistic regression analysis. Expert models gathered opinions of experts and identified the weight of each evaluation item and set the model. The rating system of the model is composed of 10 grades. The distribution of the model was consistent with KTRS grade distribution. Interestingly, the emphasis is on technology and marketability. In the technology valuation grade model for the goddess, there is a considerable difference from the emphasis on managerial competence or business performance.

  • Korea's shipbuilding industry has led the world in the technical area over the last century. Despite this commendable performance, around 2,000 workers experience accidents almost every year with 40 being killed. This raises a question of whether the safety level of our shipbuilding industry, in particular the safety of workers, is actually at the world-class level. Accordingly, this research has analyzed several types of safety training currently provided in the field through investigating statistical data of serious accidents occurring from 2006 to 2015 in the domestic shipbuilding industry, analyzing its occurrence and causes, and conducting a survey targeting employees in the shipbuilding industry. Based on this, it has investigated problems of safety training in the shipbuilding industry and suggested improvements. First, it is essential to create a standard system for safety training in the shipbuilding industry to address problems of different kinds and levels of safety training provided by each shipyard and low quality of training, and operate more organized and systemized training. Second, safety training curriculum specializing in the shipbuilding industry should continue to be developed and standardized based on a standard system for safe training to prevent serious accidents and improve safety awareness of workers. Lastly, both employers and employees should actively provide and participate in safety training to secure safety of workers through preventing serious accidents and ultimately create safety-first culture in workplace.
