Configuration management plays a key role in systems engineering process for any project from earlier stage of development. It consists of five major activities, ie., configuration management planing, configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting and configuration verification and audit, and is essential to control system design, development and operation throughout entire life cycle of the system development. And it is directly associated with other part of systems engineering management process, ie., technical data management which provides traceability of important decisions and changes during development. In this paper, we describe how to apply CASE(Computer-aided Systems Engineering) tool-Cradle for the configuration management to achieve effectiveness of Technical Management process.

This study reviews the status and validity of seismic design criteria (SDC) for major facilities in Korea, which are composed of performance criteria and technical standard. Various facilities with different seismic design response spectra are analyzed to identify their seismic performance and necessity of eventual retrofit. The results are used to derive improvement directions of SDC. It is also concluded that the technical standard should be improved after the revision of the performance criteria.

This study purpose to investigate the information needs of researcher necessary for portal service development in the science and technical library analyze the present status of information service and present the fundamental data. We collected the question survey targeted to member of science and technical library and the statistics data about information service and analyzed it for study method. The result of this study indicates that researchers in science field use mostly their library Web homepage for obtaining necessary information and use meta search service frequently And they consented the necessity of Academic information co-ownership activity and intended to join this activity.

The customer premise facilities assume an important role in the telecommunication networks. The present technical standards for domestic customer cabling facilities are established with the multimedia environment reflected, but are insufficient for accommodation of multimedia services of the ultra high-speed information and communication networks In the present paper, the status of international standardization as well as technical standards in the U.S.A., Japan, other countries are reviewed and the domestic technical standard and emblem is investigated and analyzed in order to enhance customer cabling facilities in Korea. The problems with emblem are analyzed, and how to improve customer cabling telecommunication facilities is suggested based on the above.

This paper examines the relationship between working women's health status and working environment. The result of this study is that working women's health is effected on their working environment. The data used in the present study was collected from 7,091 organized women worker by survey conducted in 1987. The independent variables chosen for analysis were job classification, working condition, women workers' characteristics, job satisfaction and health management. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows; First, technical experts had higher health status than other jobs. Manufacturizing workers had lower health status than other jobs. Second, the women who were 20-24 years old, not married and started working at 19 and less year and worked during 3-5 years had lower health status than others. Third, the women who worked bad condition were not healthy. It was bad working condition that working hour was 11-12 per day and did not have holiday and monthly wage was 100,000-200,000 won. Fourth, the women who satisfied the job had higher health status than the women who dissatisfied the job. Fifth, it showed high health status that the women worked the place where health was well managed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of economic status on the difficulties of family life focusing on the mediating effects of family communication and family ties. A total of 386 people were surveyed, and data from 352 were used for the actual data analysis. For the analysis, technical statistical analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, and a Sobel test were conducted. The results were as follows.: First, the correlation analysis confirmed that there are statistically significant correlations among the economic status of households, family communication, family ties, and the difficulties of family life. Second, the economic status of households directly influences the difficulties of family by mediating family communication and family ties. This study identified that family communication and family ties affect the improvement of difficulties in family life. It suggests that improving economic status, promoting communication among family members, and strengthening family ties can help solve the difficulties of family life.

A public key certificate may be revoked before its validity period due to causes like the owner identification information change or the private key damage. Since a certificate has long valid time relatively, it is possible to become revoked during lifetime of certificate. The main technical issue in the public key infrastructure is how to handle the status of the certificate. We propose a simple mechanism for online certificate status validation that is suited to the financial network The characteristic of the proposed method is to broadcast certificate revocation information by using verifier list. The experimental results provide the same realtime as OCSP(Online Certificate Status Protocol). The proposed mechanism reduces the network load for certificate status validation in highly concentrated unbearable network.
