  • This paper develops a model of customer satisfaction in the mobile telecommunication services. We examine the relationships among customers'overall satisfaction and underlying dimensions; perceived service quality, service value, and brand image. Variables related to customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction are derived from customer critical incidence survey. The model is estimated with multi-variate data analysis. Results indicate that the (1) technical service quality is the main driver of customer overall satisfaction, (2) some peripheral services are rapidly evolving into the core services of mobile telecommunications, and (3) the current policy of service providers does not focus on customer satisfaction but on establishing churning barrier by increasing switching costs.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the factors influencing the allergic rhinitis patients' satisfaction with laser surgery. The data were collected by telephone interviews with 211 patients who visited I university hospital. The statistical methods used for the analysis were factor analysis, reliability test, and hierarchical multiple regression. We find that satisfaction level is a function of not only the surgery outcome but also the socio-psychological experience during treatment. With the improvement in nasal allergic condition, patients were more likely to be satisfied with medical services. And patients who had positive experience with physicians and facilities reported higher satisfaction level. While the surgery outcome explained 68% of the variation of satisfaction level, socio-psychological experience explained 23% of it. This result clearly shows that physicians need to pay attention to the socio-psychological aspect as well as the technical aspect of medical services.

  • Background: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate efficacy and patient satisfaction of acupuncture or Chuna therapy for back pain. Methods: Amongst all the patients with back pain who had been treated at Sun-cheon korean medicine hospital, Dong-shin university, only patients that had received either acupuncture or Chuna manual therapy between September 1 and October 31, 2017 were selected and their medical charts retrospectively analyzed. A questionnaire was used in the investigation that consisted of a numeric rating scale (NRS), the Oswestry low-back pain disability index (ODI), general, emotional, conversational, and technical satisfaction. The questionnaire was completed before treatment and at weekly intervals (approximately). Treatment efficacy was analyzed using the first and last questionnaires. The last questionnaire was also used to establish patient satisfaction. The data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows version 21.0. Results: The NRS, Current degree of pain (ODI-1), and total ODI were significantly decreased in both the acupuncture and Chuna groups. The differences in NRS, ODI-1, and total ODI changes between treatment groups were not significant. There were no statistically significant differences between the acupuncture and Chuna groups in terms of general, emotional, conversational, and technical satisfaction. Conclusion: Acupuncture treatment significantly reduces NRS and ODI in patients who have back pain without structural transformation, and Chuna therapy significantly reduces NRS and ODI-1 in patients who have back pain with structural transformation. These results indicate that further studies should be conducted in more patients and over a longer period.

This paper develops the model for explaining the factors affecting the use of web contents as a mode for studying Electronic subject. Based on data collected from a questionnaire survey from the students who studied the Electronic subject using web contents, a following conclusion is provided: the perceived usefulness, ease of use and the playfulness significantly affect the level of satisfaction, but the design of contents, image, quality, attitude as well as self-efficacy only indirectly affect the satisfaction level. • The purpose of this study is to call attention to the consensus of stakeholders of corporate e-Learning system for the sake of its success. We identified the critical success factors(contents, technical features, management, and organizational support) as major components of corporate e-Learning systems and questioned whether stakeholders' consensus on the importance of these components facilitates the successful implementation of these components. We also questioned whether the influence of these components on user satisfaction could be moderated by contextual factors. Based on empirical testing of 18 e-Learning user companies, we verified that the consensus of stakeholders regarding the importance of content, technological features, and organizational support has a positive influence on the perceived quality of these factors in their e-Learning systems, which in turn is positively related to user satisfaction. The learning subjects and learning style did significantly moderate the influences of these perceived qualities on user satisfaction.
