  • In late 20th century, smart home market evolved in China, and absorbed best manpower and technology to commercialize the smart home equipment. Many foreign companies want to take possession of Chinese market, but not arrive at abundance yet. There has many reasons, but most important thing is ignoring the interaction between technical elements and spacial elements. in other words, ignoring the correlation between each industry. Korean smart home market evolved same period with Chinese, but it has balanced development in technic and application, so the commercialize and market arrived at poverty. In this study, survey the present situation of smart home about Korea and China, and compare the technical elements. In addition to analysis the interaction between smart spacial contents and technology. This study focused on the smart apartment, and analysis the strength and weakness in each country, and make theoretical basement for Korea to make certain about Chinese smart home market.

  • Recently the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Korea launched two new project delivery systems called "Best Value Contract (Design-Bid-Build)" and "Bridging Contract (Design-Build)" in October of 2007 by revising enforcement ordinances of "Act on Contracts to Which the State is a Party". These project delivery systems require the bidders to submit technical proposal adjusted to the project characteristics and objectives for selecting the contractor by evaluating technical proposals. This research aimed to suggest guideline to effectively operate the project delivery systems described above. To reach the goal of the research, the framework of the operation model was developed, which includes the four categories: the standard bidding process, the technical proposal requirements, the technical proposal evaluation criteria, and the award methods. The contents of the four categories above were fulfilled throughout conferring with the advisory experts. In particular, the award methods, which are the important decision-making factor in the perspective of the owner, consist of four types: Low Bid-Fully Qualified, Weighted Criteria, Adjusted Bid, and Adjusted Score. The quantitative features and application criteria of these four types of award methods were suggested throughout the simulation using the virtual case.

Effects of Simulation-based Training for Basic Life Support Utilizing Video-assisted Debriefing on Non-Technical and Technical Skills of Nursing Students (비디오 디브리핑을 이용한 기본소생술 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호학생의 비기술적 술기와 기술적 술기 수행능력에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of simulation-based training (SBT) for basic life support (BLS) utilizing video-assisted debriefing (VAD) about non-technical skills (NTSs) and technical skills (TSs). The goal of the proposed study is the evaluation of a teaching method about the correct application of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Methods: The study design was a control group pre- and post-test non-synchronized experimental design. The sample included twelve teams of 36 nursing students. Both the experimental and the control groups received the SBT for BLS. Only the experimental groups received VAD where as the control groups had a verbal debriefing. Raters who used checklists for TSs and NTSs evaluated both groups. Data were analyzed by the SPSS 20.0 using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), Mann-Whitney U test and Willcoxon signed rank test. Results: The experimental groups scored higher than the control groups in both TSs (p=.004) and the NTSs (p=.008). Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that NTSs are an important factor that lead CPR successfully, so VAD can be used as an efficient teaching-learning strategy in the SBT for BLS for nursing students and nurses.

  • The exchange of CAD (Computer Aided Design) models between different CAD systems and to downstream applications such as manufacturing has become very important to modem industry. One serious current issue is that the process cannot automatically import existing 3-D solid models in a variety of commercial CAD formats into the process without manually re-mastering the model in current standard including "SIEP AP(Application Protocol) 203 Edition 1" To fully integrate technical data from the design agency to the shop floor, design intent and validated 3D geometry of feature based parametric CAD model should be brought into the standardized processes. To overcome this limitation, AP203 Edition 2 (Ed.2) and its related STEP parts such as Part55, Part108, Part109, Part111 and Part112 are starting to be available to handle this problem. The features in Part111 are harmonized with the machining features available in AP224. This paper is focused on two mapping technologies: CAD to Part111 mapping and Pat111 to AP224 mapping including case studios and it will provide the guideline about what should be done next in the AP203 Ed.2 to AP224 mapping. The final goal of this project is to integrate technical data from CAD to AP224 based manufacturing information through AP203 Ed.2.

  • An application of the perturbation method to optimum structural design with random parameters is presented. It is formulated on the basis of the first-order stochastic finite element perturbation method. It also takes into full account the stress, displacement and eigenvalue constraints, together with the rates of change of the random variables. A method for calculating the sensitivity coefficients in regard to the governing equation and the first-order perturbed equation has been derived, by using a direct differentiation approach. A gradient-based nonlinear programming technique is used to solve the problem. The numerical results are specifically noted, where the stiffness parameter and external load are treated as random variables.

  • Advancements in the imaging and computing technology have opened the path to digital holography for non-destructive investigations of technical samples, material property measurement, vibration analysis, flow visualization and stress analysis in aerospace industry which has widened the application of digital holography in the above fields. In this paper, we demonstrate the non-destructive investigation and micro-structure measurement application of digital holography to the small particles and a biological sample. This paper gives a brief description of the digital holograms recorded with this system and illustratively demonstrated.

  • Korean traditional wedding ceremony was conducted with some regular procedure and there were used special Gyubang crafts for wedding ceremony. Nowadays there is common the western style wedding ceremony and then the use of wedding Gyubang crafts have being decreased. Purposes of this study are to investigate characteristics of and to propose some idea of preservation and application them in the life of today. The results are as follows; Wedding Gyubang crafts can be classified Bojagj(wrapping clothes), Jumeony(cloth bags), ornaments, items related to sewing and others. They were apt to be traditionality, symbolism and shamanism, and were superior in aesthetic sense, the effect of decoration and technical skill. So there was needed preservation them. Some way of preservation and applications them were suggested ; alternation in keeping with modern needs, use of ornament, alteration in present-day life, application their image to Korean cultural products, textile design and so on. Several works were developed by ways suggested and exhibited in order to arouse new understanding Wedding Gyubang Crafts to public.

  • According to the size of mobile applications has been expanded, the coupling of among mobile applications or servers also will be growing. The growth of mobile application's size means that predicting design for variability should be involved. If mobile application's change is occurred, application should be reinstalled totally. However this reinstallation can raise side-effects in case of high-coupling applications. Therefore, this paper proposes a technique of designing variability for mobile applications in android platform. Proposed technique is separated into selection technique and plug-in technique.

  • The RMS statistical approach has demonstrated its potential in developing pharmaceutical dosage forms and in improving tabletting performance. Using an optimized formula, the tabletting performances of vitamin C-90 such as compressibility, disintegration time, lubrication and friability are significantly enhanced when compared with the performance of a traditional test formula. More important, this method also enables us to serve our customers better. Any customized modification of a suggested formula or any technical problem related performance etc. can be readily resolved by simple examination of the models.

  • Fuel cell systems offer high energy efficiencies for transportation application. In addition, they can use alcohols and alternative fuels as the fuel, while producing little or no noxious emissions. Fuel cell-powered vehicles should be competitive in performance characteristics and in capital and maintenance costs with internal combustion engine vehicles. The objective of the present study is to design a fuel cell-powered passenger car to analyze technical feasibility.
