Pyrgotidae is a small acalyptrate family including about 370 species worldwide and little attention has been given to their systematics until recently. Latest changes in taxonomic status of some of the Korean species made this review inevitable. In the present study, the Korean pyrgotid species are reviewed with discussion of their taxonomic status. We also provide a revised key to all 14 Korean species (seven Adapsilia, three Eupyrgota, two Parageloemyia, one Porpomastix, and one Tephritopyrgota species) supplemented by digital images to facilitate accurate identification.

한국산 꾹저구속 (Genus Gymnogoius, 국명신청) 어류의 정확한 학명 사용을 위하여 우리나라의 주요 하천과 연안의 기수역에서 채집된 표본을 대상으로 이들의 외부형태 형질을 분석하여 분류학적으로 재검토하였다. 조사 결과 한국산 꾹저구속 어류는 날망둑 G. breunigii (Steindachner), 살망둑 G. heptacanthus (Hilgendorf), 왜꾹저구 G. macrognathos (Bleeker), 얼룩망둑 G. mororanus (Jordan and Snyder), 무늬꾹저구 G. opperiens Stevenson, 검정꾹저구 G. petschiliensis (Rendahl), 꾹저구 G. urotaenia (Hilgendorf)의 7종으로 분류되었다. 아울러 한국산 꾹저구속 어류 7종에 대한 분포 및 주요 계수 계측형질과 형태적 특정을 기재하고 각 종에 대한 새로운 분류 검색표을 제시하였다.

A taxonomic review of the Korean Lycocerus (Cantharidae, Coleoptera) was presented. Through this study, total of four species were found from Korea including a species new to Korea, Lycocerus striatus. We newly provided a key to the Korean Lycocerus species and the distributional map on each species in this study.

As a result of a taxonomic review of the tachinid genus Trigonospila Porkorny in Korea, we recognized two species: T. ludio (Zetterstedt) and T. transvittata (Pandell$\acute{e}$). The former species is reported for the first time in Korea. We here provide a key to the Korean species, redescriptions, photographs and illustrations.

Lynceid conchostracans of the order Laevicaudata in East Asia are reviewed. Validity of the three older species, Lynceus mandsuricus Daday, Lynceus biformis (Ishikawa), and Lynceus dauricus Thiele, is examined and discussed. Two species among them were acknowledged but L. dauricus was synonymized to L. biformis and redescribed and illustrated in the present paper, based on the materials collected from the rice-fields at 15 localities in Korea.

A taxonomic review of the genus Mocyta Mulsant & Rey in Korea is presented. The genus is represented in Korea by three species including Mocyta jani Lee & Ahn, sp. nov. and M. vivida (Sharp), comb. nov. A key to Korean species, descriptions, habitus photographs and illustrations of the diagnostic characters are provided.

쏨뱅이아목 (Scorpaenoidei) 어류에 속하는 꼼치과 (Liparidae) 어류는 형태적으로 유사하고 오동정 가능성이 크며 체색과 몸의 상대적인 크기 변이가 심하여 분류학적으로도 상당히 혼란스러운 분류군이다. 따라서, 본 연구는 꼼치과 어류의 자원변동을 이해하고 자원관리를 위해 국내 보고된 3속 10종을 대상으로 분자계통 및 분류학적 재검토를 수행하였다. 미토콘드리아DNA COI 영역과 핵DNA RAG2 영역의 염기서열을 이용한 분자계통 분석 결과, 물미거지가 분홍꼼치와 가깝게 유집되는 mtCOI 계통 결과를 제외하면 3속 (분홍꼼치속, 물미거지속, 꼼치속)이 대등한 단계통성을 나타내었다. Gilbert and Burke (1912)는 L. ochotensis와 구분되는 한국산 미거지를 L. ingens로 신종 보고하였으나, 본 연구에서 한국산 미거지는 일본산 및 러시아산 L. ochotensis와 형태 및 분자에서 잘 일치하였으므로 한국산 미거지의 학명을 L. ingens에서 L. ochotensis로 변경한다.

1997년부터 2004년까지 우리나라 연안에서 채집된 주둥치속 어류의 주요 계수 계측 형질과 형태적 특징을 분석하여 분류학적으로 검토하였다. 그 결과 한국산 주둥치과 어류는 왜주둥치 Leiognathus elongatus, 줄무늬주둥치 L. fasciatus, 줄주둥치 L. lineolatus, 주둥치 L. nuchalis, 점주둥치 L. rivulatus와 노랑점주둥치 L.bindus 등 모두 1속 6종으로 분류되었다. 이 가운데 L.bindus는 한국산 미기록종으로 확인되어 계수계측치를 제시하고, 국명을 "노랑점주둥치"로 명명하였다. 노랑점주둥치는 체장이 체고의 1.8~1.9배이며, 입은 앞쪽으로 돌출되고, 등지느러미의 2~5 극조 사이의 기조막에 밝은 오렌지색의 반점이 있는 것이 특징이다. 본 연구에서는 한국산 주둥치속 어류 6종에 대한 주요 계수, 계측 형질과 형태적 특징을 기재하고 각 종에 대한 검색표를 제시하였다.

1986년부터 1999년까지 우리나라의 서해와 남해안을 중심으로 채집된 성대과 어류의 주요 계수, 계측 형질과 형태적 특징들을 분석하여 이들의 분류학적 위치를 재검토하였다. 지금까지 한국산 성대과 어류는 3속 9종으로 보고되었으나, 조사 결과 밀성대속 Pterygotrigla에는 밑성대 P. hemisticta, 성대속 Chelidonichthys에는 성대 C. kumu, 달재속 Lepidotrigla에 는 가시달갱이 L. japonica, 꼬마달재 L. guentheri, 쌍뿔달재 L. alata, 뿔성대 L. kishinouyei, 고지달재 L. kanagashira, 달강어 L. microptera, 히메성대 L. hime, 밀강달이 L. abyssalis 등으로 모두 3속 10종으로 분류되었다. 이 중에는 지금까지 서식이 보고되지 않았던 L. kanagashira를 확인하여, 한국산 미기록종으로 보고하면서, 한국명으로는 "고지달재"라고 명명하였다. 아울러 한국산 성대과 어류 3속 10종에 대한 주요 계수, 계측 형질과 형태적 특징을 기재하면서 각 종에 대한 새로운 분류 검색표를 작성하여 제시하고, 이들의 분류학적 위치와 지리적 분포에 대하여 논의하였다.

Myelochroa (Asahina) Elix & Hale is a common foliose lichen genus found on the Korean Peninsula. Since it was first recorded nearly two decades ago, no detailed taxonomic or revisionary study of the genus has been conducted. Thus, the current study was conducted to carry out a detailed taxonomic and revisionary study of Myelochroa in South Korea. This study was based on specimens deposited in the Korean Lichen Research Institute (KoLRI). Detailed taxonomic studies and a literature review confirmed the presence of twelve species of Myelochroa from S. Korea, including one new record, Myelochroa xantholepis (Mont. & Bosch) Elix & Hale. Descriptions of each species with their morphological, anatomical and chemical characters together with a key to all known Myelochroa species are presented.
