2년제 경호관련학과의 교육과정 현황 및 재구성 (Two-Year Security Related Studies and Curriculum Reconstruction)

  • 경찰인력의 부족과 사회양극화 현상으로 범죄율이 증가하는 가운데 사경호의 사회적, 직업적 가치가 상승하면서 대학에서도 경호관련분야의 전문 인력을 양성하기 위해 사회적 역할로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 경호관련학과와 학문적 정체성은 여전히 해결해야할 과제로 남아있다. 2000년도에는 경호관련학과를 신설하여 60여개의 대학이 있었으나 현재 신입생 감소 등의 문제로 줄어들어 39개 대학(2년제+4년제)에 관련학과가 설치되어 있는 실정이다. 또한 학과의 명칭은 경찰, 경호, 무도, 부사관을 혼용을 사용하며 사회적 전반적인 시장변화에 대응하고자 적절하게 혼용명칭을 요구되고 있으며, 물론 학과가 추구하는 공통목표는 민간인에 의한 안전서비스 활동이다. 그러나 아직 대학교체계의 확립이 미흡한 것이 실정이며 또한 여러 분야의 교수요원으로 교육과정이 엉성하게 구성되어 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 경호산업에 있어서 밀접한 2년제 경호관련학과를 선택하여 현실적인 문제점을 부각하고 각 대학의 교육과정을 비교 분석하여 기본적인 교육과정을 도출하고 앞으로 나아갈 방향을 제시하였다. 경호관련학과들이 가진 공통목표를 지향하면서도 학교별로 흔들리는 교육과정은 경호학 학문이 미 정착된 현실을 반영하고 있으며 앞으로 해결할 과제이다. 경호관련학과는 세분화된 교육을 취함과 동시에 전문인력간의 공동작업의 기회를 제공할 수 있는 방법, 산학협동과정, 산학공동개발 등이 강화된 교육이 되어야할 것이며 산업체의 현장실습 수업을 좀 더 확대, 개편, 강화할 필요성이 대두되며, 학교 간 또는 교수요원들 간의 노력을 통해 해결되어야 할 것이다.

그리드 컴퓨팅을 위한 온톨로지 기반의 시맨틱 정보 시스템 (Ontology Based Semantic Information System for Grid Computing)

  • 그리드 컴퓨팅 환경은 기존의 분산 컴퓨팅 기술의 확장된 개념으로, 다양한 분야에서 저비용의 고성능 컴퓨팅 퍼포먼스를 얻기 위하여 그리드를 이용하고 있다. 그러나 공통적으로 이용할 수 있는 정보 시스템의 부재로, 현재의 그리드는 대규모의 단일한 환경으로서의 그리드가 아닌, 기존의 클러스터 컴퓨터와 같은 의미로 사용되고 있다. 따라서 자신이 구성한 분산 컴퓨팅 환경을 그리드 환경의 한 부분으로 포함시키기 위해서는 컴퓨팅 환경에 대한 정보를 그리드의 이용자가 공유할 수 있어야 하며, 정보 서비스를 공개하여 공유할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 정보의 공유와 확장이 용이하며, 플랫폼에 독립적인 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 정보 시스템을 구축하기 위한 웹 서비스, 온톨로지 기반의 Semantic Information System Framework(WebSIS)을 제안한다. WebSIS를 통하여 온톨로지를 이용하는 정보 시스템의 제작을 용이하게 하며, 온톨로지의 공유와 재사용, 확장의 특징을 활용할 수 있는 구조를 제안한다. 또, 그리드 컴퓨팅 환경이 기존의 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에 비해 복잡해짐에 따라 작업을 수행하기 위한 적절한 자원의 할당에도 좀 더 많은 고려사항이 존재하게 되었고, 이를 효과적으로 처리하기 위해서는 좀 더 고수준의 정보처리를 필요로 하게 되었다. 이에 우리는 WebSIS와 함께 WebSIS를 이용하여 그리드 환경을 이용하는 작업의 자동화를 위한, 온톨로지 기반의 고수준의 정보처리가 가능한 Resource Information Service를 구현하였고, 이를 통하여, 효율적인 공유와 확장을 위한 온톨로지 모델을 제안한다. 또한, 기존의 용어 매칭이 아닌 의미 정보를 이용한 검색과 정보 처리를 제안한다.

한국 사회사업교과과정 개발을 위한 연구 (A STUDY FOR THE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL WORK IN KOREA)

  • During last five years several workshops and seminars among social work educators, in and out country, has taken place. In those gatherings there has been, criticism on American model on which curriculum of social work in Korea has mainly based, and many proposals which most developing countries should consider and adopt for developing their own curriculums. The proposals could be summarized as follows; 1. Specification of developmental functions of social work should be made so that the curriculum could involve. It also must come from own societal needs and own national development task. 2. Social work should participate and make contribution to plan and solve the main social problems in own countries. 3. Clarification of educational objective in undergraduate level should be made and one of them must be related to the first professional degree. 4. There should be the courses which provide the content of macro level participation. How much of the proposals are reflected in the current curriculum of Korea? What are the problems Korean social work education has been faced in connection with reflecting the proposals? What kinds of task we should or could perform in order to adopt the proposals? These are the questions which deserved to be studied. The followings are the answers to the questions; 1. The new courses such as social welfare policy and planning, Social Development, Population Dynamics and Family Planning, Social problems, Special Issues in Social Welfare, etc, are placed in the curriculum. 2. Though the new courses are added the courses of case work, group work, and community organization are strongly remained it means that integrative method is not quite adopted and that conflicts are taking place between new and old fashion. 3. Fieldwork placement policy has been changes from concurrent to block and from social work method oriented to social problem oriented. 4. There are lack of integration among the all courses, of consistency between pre and post courses and connection among the related courses. 5. Establishment of image of social worker with B, A. degree should be urgently taken place. It can't be done by social work field alone but by cooperation with all the forces related to the social work practice. 6. B. A. graduate should have a common base of knowledge and competence. It could be come from the clear and specified objectives of undergraduate level education. And agreement among the member schools on the objectives can call on the fundamental similarities in each curriculums. Different programs from one school to another can be tolerated as long as there are fundamental similarities among the schools. Basic concepts and framework of social work should be kept clearly. It is a slow and long process to make social work recognized as a profession in the developing countries. Korea can't be and exception. Failure of having social work be indegenous can't be the reason to refuse an change the basic concepts of social work. One of he most important task which social work education in Korea must achieve in the near future is to establish the minimum requirement courses in the curriculum. Social work field, on the other hand, must find the positions for the social works in the various settings and institute. Clear role and image of social worker can be obtained by doing that.

VDT작업이 안 조절반응과 동공 대광반사에 미치는 영향 (Change on Lens Accommodation and Pupil Light Reflex in VDT works)

  • 6명의 20대 여성을 대상으로 VDT작업으로 인한 조절반응 및 동공대광반사의 작업부과에 따른 변화와 다른 사무작업을 부과할 때와의 차이를 보았다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. VDT작업에서 작업부과 시간이 증가함에 따라 조절 수축속도가 감소했으며 1시간의 휴식시간 후에는 현저하게 증가했고 다시 작업을 부과함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 조절 수축속도의 변화보다는 뚜렷하지 않지만 이완속도도 VDT작업부과에 따라 감소되고 휴식에 의한 회복되는 경향을 보였다. 2. 일반 사무작업과 근거리 사무작업에서는 조절 수축속도에서 VDT작업부과때와 같은 반응은 보이지 않았으며, 근거리 사무작업에서 이완속도가 작업부과에 따라 감소하였으나 휴식 후 회복되지 않았다. 3. 동공대광반사에서 최초동공직경, 최초동공면적은 VDT작업에서만 작업시간의 증가에 따라 유의한 감소를 보였는데 휴식 후 회복되지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 조절 수축속도의 변화, 조절 이완속도, 동공직경과 면적의 변화가 VDT작업의 특성을 연구하는데 사용될 가능성을 보여주며, 이를 위해서 연구대상이 개인차, 생체리듬, 감정적 자극 등을 보정한 연구가 필요하다고 생각된다.

건축 시공단계 검측 업무 자동 생성을 위한 프레임워크 개발 (A Framework of Automating Inspection Task Generation for Construction Projects)

  • 건설 품질관리는 건설 프로젝트의 성공적 수행을 위한 필수요소이다. 최근 ICT 기술 적용이 활성화 됨에 따라 현장 검측 업무에 첨단 기술 및 장비를 활용하기 위한 다양한 시도가 이루어지고 있다. 그러나 개별적 검측업무에 대한 첨단기술 적용에 앞서 전체 검측업무를 선제적으로 계획하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 건설 검측업무에 첨단 기술 및 장비를 활용하기에 앞서 검측대상과 관련 정보를 명확히 도출하기 위한 데이터베이스와 그 데이터 베이스를 활용하기 위한 알고리즘을 개발하는 것이다. 또한 건축 시공계획에 따라 검측업무에 해당하는 액티비티를 자동 생성하기 위한 프레임워크를 제안하였다. 그 방법으로 국토교통부에서 고시한 책임 상주 감리 체크리스트의 검사 항목을 바탕으로 검측 대상, 검측 시기, 검측 방법, 검측 범위, 검측 제약요소를 분석하고 분류하였다. 본 프레임워크는 철근 콘크리트 공사 사례에 적용되었다. 개발된 건설 검측 업무 액티비티 자동 생성 프레임워크는 건축 시공을 위해 사용하는 공정관리 프로그램, 검측업무 및 검측기술을 연계하는데 적용할 수 있다. 향후 다양한 건설 프로젝트의 검측 업무 시, 액티비티 자동 생성 및 자동화를 위한 기초로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

The Trend of Cigarette Design and Tobacco Flavor System Development

  • In light of addressing consumer health concern, coping with anti-tobacco movement, and promoting new product, tobacco industry is actively pursuing to make a new generation of cigarettes with low tar and nicotine deliveries, and less harmful substances. Low tar and low nicotine cigarettes increases their market shares dramatically world wide, especially in KT&G, multinational tobacco companies, EU countries, even in China regulated by CNTC to set up yearly target to lower tar and nicotine deliveries. On the other hand, to design a new cigarette with reduced harmful substances begins to gain speed. The "modified Hoffmann list" publishes thirty plus substances in tobacco leaf and main smoke stream, which is the prime suspect causing health problems. Various ways and means are developed to reduce such components including new tobacco breeds, new curing method, tobacco leaf treatment before processing, selected filtration system, innovated casing system to reduce free radicals, as well as some non conventional cigarette products. In TSRC held this year, the main topic is related to reduce tobacco specific nitrosamines in tobacco leaf. The new generation of cigarette is in the horizon. It still needs a lot help to produce commercial products with satisfied taste and aroma characters. The flavor industry is not regulated by many governments demanding which ingredients might or might not be for tobacco use. However, most of the cigarette companies self impose a list of ingredients to guide flavor suppliers to design flavors. Unfortunately, the number of ingredients in those lists is getting shorter every year. It is understandable that the health is not the only reason. Some cigarette companies are playing safe to protect the company from potential lawsuit, while others are just copying from their competitors. Moreover, it is obvious that it needs more assistance from casings and flavors to design new generation of cigarettes with missing certain flavor components in tobacco leaf and main smoke stream. These flavor components are either non-existed or at lower level at new form of cured tobacco leaf or filtered in the main smoke stream along with reduced harmful substances. The use of carbon filters and other selected filtration system poses another tough task for flavor system design. Specific flavor components are missing from the smoke analysis data, which brings a notion of "carbon taste" and "dryness" of mouth feel. It is ever more demanded by cigarette industry to flavor suppliers to produce flavors as body enhancer, tobacco notes, salivating agents, harshness reducer, and various of aromatic notes provided they are safe to use. Another trend is that water based flavor or flavor with reduced ethanol as solvent is gaining popularity. It is preferred by some cigarette companies that the flavor is compounded with all natural ingredients or all ingredients should he GMO free. The new generation of cigarettes demands many ways of new thinking process. It is also vital for tobacco industry. It reflects the real needs for the consumers that the cigarette product should be safe to use as well as bearing the taste and aroma characters smokers always enjoyed. An effective tobacco flavor system is definitely a part of the equation. The global trend of tobacco industry is like trends of any other industries lead by consumer needs, benefited with new technology availability, affected by the global economy, and subjected for various rules and regulations. Anti-tobacco organizations and media exceptionally scrutinize cigarette, as a legal commercial product. Cigarette is probably the most studied commercial product for its composition, structure, deliveries, effects, as well as its new developmental trend. Therefore, any new trend of cigarette development would be within these boundaries. This paper is trying to point out what it would be like for tobacco industry in the next few yews and what concerns the tobacco industry. It focuses mostly on the efforts to produce safer cigarettes. It is such a vital task for the tobacco industry and its affiliate industries such as cigarette papers, filters, flavors, and other materials. The facts and knowledge presented in this paper might be well known for the public. Some of the comments and predictions are very much personal opinion for a further discussion.

동북아지역 어업인력의 협력방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cooperative Schemes of the fishery manpower in the North East Asian region)

  • This study analyzed and mutually compared the fishery manpower problems in Northeast Asia region including Korea, China, Japan by fishery industry structure, fishery education, fishery manpower and presented fishery cooperative schemes of Northeast Asia. In case of fishery manpower problems, China is still in a better situation whereas Korea and Japan have a hard time of a labor shortage. Korean companies have employed foreign crews to find a way out of the difficulties and the foreign crew rate is growing but the problem is that the reduction of Korean crew could deteriorate the safety of vessel-sailing, efficient operations, and fishery efficiency. Therefore crew management should be placed focus on improvement of working conditions and guarantee positions to foreign crew as assistants in fishery surroundings and systems. Fishery manpower problems are complementary to each nation in Northeast Asia. In consideration of this fact, fishery manpower management needs the mutual fishery manpower and information exchange and for the sake of it, the most urgent task is to build up the international fishery cooperative network through establishing fishery-related information systems of Northeast Asia.

  • We have developed a highly responsible probing system for inspection of electrical properties of assemble PCB$_{s}$ (printed circuit boards). However, as the duration of the impact occurring between a probe and a solder joint on PCB is very short, it is very difficult to control the harmful peak impact force and the slip motion of the probe to sufficient level only by its vorce feedback control with high gains. To overcome these disadvantages of the prototype, it needs ot obtain some information of the solder joint in advance before the contact. In addition, to guarantee the reliability of the probing task, the probing system is required to measure several points around the probale target point at high speed. There fore, to meet such requirements, we propose a new noncontaet sensor capable of detecting simultaneously position and normal vectors of the multiple points around the probable target point in real time. By using this information, we can prepare a control strategy for stable contact motion on impact. In this paper, we described measuring priniciple, design, and development of the sensor. The effectiveness of the proposed sensor is verified through a series of experiments.s.

Graphic Simulator for Analyzing the Remote Operation of the Advanced Spent Fuel Conditioning Process

  • KAERI is developing the Advanced Spent Fuel Conditioning Process (ACP) as a pre-disposal treatment process for spent fuel. Equipment used for such a spent fuel recycling and management process must operate in intense radiation fields as well as in a high temperature. Therefore, remote maintenance has a played a significant role in this process because of combined chemical and radiological contamination. Hence suitable remote handling and maintenance technology needs to be developed along with the design of the process concepts. To do this, we developed the graphic simulator for the ACP. The graphic simulator provides the capability of verifying the remote operability of the process without fabrication of the process equipment. In other words, by applying virtual reality to the remote maintenance operation, a remote operation task can be simulated in the graphic simulator, not in a real environment. The graphic simulator will substantially reduce the cost of the development of the remote handling and maintenance procedure as well as the process equipment, while at the same time producing a process and a remote maintenance concept that is more reliable, easier to implement, and easier to understand.

Through utilizing this graphic simulation in this digital mockup, general guidelines can be established for designing equipment intended for remote handling and maintenance. Also, the designer of the equipment that must be remotely maintained should ensure that there is adequate access to the process equipment. The graphic simulator will substantially reduce the cost of the develo363pment of the remote handling and maintenance procedure as well as the process equipment.
