Based on the outcomes of analysis, I figured out those star's fashion style and created products targeting young generation born after 1980s in China. The conclusion of this study is as follows. Firstly, the very definition of Hallyu which can be described as a phenomenon in which Korean movies, soap operas, and pop music have become immensely popular throughout Asia.has been expanding to signify the proliferation of Korean culture as a whole. Secondly, having selected the 5 female stars representing Hallyu, we were able to analyze and categorize their fashion styles on the basis of their music videos, movies, and soap-operas. Thirdly, In order to explore the level of influence of Hallyu fashion industry, we studied the street fashion of Shanghai The result was that we could observe both the slim and feminine cool casual style and the cute and affectionate pretty casual style simultaneously.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate and verify interaction effects of collaboration and brand origin as well as fashion involvement on consumer attitudes towards global sports apparel brands and Chinese local sports apparel brands targeting Chinese consumers. A survey was conducted on 425 Chinese women aged 19 to 34 years. Data were subjected to frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-tests, 3-way ANOVA, and simple effect analysis. Results of the study are as follows. First, fashion involvement, collaboration, and brand country of origin all had a significant effect on consumer preference of Chinese consumers when purchasing sportswear. Second, fashion involvement and collaboration in purchasing sportswear had a significant interaction effect on consumer preference. Finally, collaboration, brand origin, and fashion involvement showed significant three-way interaction effects on Chinese consumers' preferences. Results of this study can help establish an efficient marketing strategy for Chinese local sportswear brands, which are fiercely competing with global sportswear brands in the Chinese market because they can examine Chinese consumers' attitudes toward sportswear brands. To accurately compare global and local sportswear brands, it must be assumed that there are no differences in brand preferences among consumers. However, as this study selected each brand as the research brand ranked as the top preference, this aspect was not taken into consideration. Therefore, in future research, it is necessary to consider differences in brand preferences and conduct the study accordingly.

  • This study aims to analyze the characteristics of transnational cigarette companies' strategies to expand the female market in Korea after the market opening of 1988. Focusing on 'Virginia Slims' and 'Finesse', which are the PM and BAT's representative female brands, this study explores whether their typical advertising strategies were transformed in Korean market. After 3years from the market opening, 'Virginia Slims' gave up its brand identity and the strategy was so successful that 'Virginia Slims' continued to be 2nd best-selling brand in the imported cigarette market in Korea. In contrast, 'Finesse' maintained a typical women's cigarette image during the 1990s and consequently occupied the highest brand awareness as a female cigarette but lower market share than Virginia Slims. TTCs adapted to a doubly obstructed Korea market with its strong taboo against female smoking and a comparatively stronger legal ban on all cigarette ads targeting women. However, diverse indirect cigarette ads and promotions, which circumvented regulations, suggest that ads transforming was not to give up Korean female customers. Furthermore, the cigarette ads that the soft and mild taste of female brands are associated with healthy image rather than gendered image may appeal to Korean women without touching their emotions and desires.

  • In the construction industry, adoption of BIM is a global tendency whereas it doesn't seem to be fully activated in domestic market. Thus, the need of BIM ROI measurement is emerging. There has been a few researches which is only focused on evaluating achievement of BIM in constructional stage. However, it's hard to find any studies on the case of measurement of BIM ROI at the design phase. Therefore, this paper analyzes the domestic and external 12 advanced researches in the measurement of BIM ROI and suggests common investment and return facts. Based on this, this paper proposes a measuring method which is applicable in domestic architectural firms. To determine the appropriateness of the measure, there has been an expert survey and interview. According to the expert survey, the measure itself is practical. But in other survey targeting industry employee, actual profit and efficiency appear to be significantly different from previous expectations. In short, in the domestic conditions in the design stage, the introduction of BIM doesn't have a practical effect and this is one of the main reason why BIM can't be fully functional.

A questionnaire survey was conducted on the panel of online survey companies for Chinese consumers who have visited Korean franchise restaurants. A total of 404 data were analyzed using structural equation modeling(SEM) and artifical neural network(ANN) with SPSS 22.0 and SmartPLS 3.0. Result - The findings of this study are as follows: First, the alternative model findings show that facilities & atmosphere, employee service, and menu influenced on utilitarian value, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty directly. Second, employee service influenced on customer satisfaction. Third, menu influenced on hedonic value. Fourth, brand reputation influenced on utilitarian value. Fifth, hedonic value increase customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Sixth, hedonic value increase customer loyalty. Seventh, customer increase customer loyalty. And, the ANN analysis shows that utilitarian value is the first most important factor influencing customer satisfaction, followed by hedonic value, facilities & atmosphere, menu and employee service. However, the ANN analysis shows that customer satisfaction is the first most important factor influencing customer loyalty, followed by utilitarian value, hedonic value, brand reputation, menu, and employee service. Conclusions - This study provides practical implications for enhancing customer satisfaction and customer loyalty by applying the ANN technique that complements the limitations of the linear structural relationship analysis using the proposed model and the alternative model. In other words, the SEM-ANN model provides guidelines on how Korean franchise restaurants should formulate facilities & atmosphere, employee service, and menu mix strategies in China. In addition, ANN 's analysis shows that restaurant brand reputation plays a pivotal role in increasing customer loyalty. The fact suggests that Korean franchise companies should establish their domestic brand reputation prior to their entry into overseas markets such as China.

  • The "New Korean Wave" (Shin Hallyu) phenomenon, which is represented by the global popularity of BTS and director Bong Joon-ho's film "Parasite," is making the world excited. The influence of the Korean Wave is not only on politics, society, and culture, but it also has considerable economic ripple effects. We applied individual in-depth interviews with seven media and marketing experts in China to assess the changes in the impact of Korean cultural content (i.e., Hallyu content) and examine the possibility of marketing for Korean small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) products using Hallyu content. Considering its massive market potential, China is still an attractive target for Korean companies and is of even greater importance to SMEs, which are highly dependent on exports and lacking marketing budgets as well as a professional workforce. Korean businesses and the economy at large would get a real boost if they could penetrate the Chinese market by utilizing the strength of Hallyu content. Based on the results of the in-depth interviews, the conclusion of our study suggests the direction of advertising strategy on how Korean products can attract the minds of Chinese consumers by utilizing the Shin Hallyu. This research is a practical study that diagnoses the reality of the Korean Wave in China objectively and has excellent practical implications as it proposes methods of how SMEs should use Hallyu for their marketing strategies.
