소분자 도킹에서의 평가함수의 개발 동향 (Recent Development of Scoring Functions on Small Molecular Docking)

  • Molecular docking is a critical event which mostly forms Van der waals complex in molecular recognition. Since the majority of developed drugs are small molecules, docking them into proteins has been a prime concern in drug discovery community. Since the binding pose space is too vast to cover completely, many search algorithms such as genetic algorithm, Monte Carlo, simulated annealing, distance geometry have been developed. Proper evaluation of the quality of binding is an essential problem. Scoring functions derived from force fields handle the ligand binding prediction with the use of potential energies and sometimes in combination with solvation and entropy contributions. Knowledge-based scoring functions are based on atom pair potentials derived from structural databases. Forces and potentials are collected from known protein-ligand complexes to get a score for their binding affinities (e.g. PME). Empirical scoring functions are derived from training sets of protein-ligand complexes with determined affinity data. Because non of any single scoring function performs generally better than others, some other approaches have been tried. Although numerous scoring functions have been developed to locate the correct binding poses, it still remains a major hurdle to derive an accurate scoring function for general targets. Recently, consensus scoring functions and target specific scoring functions have been studied to overcome the current limitations.

Association of Killer Cell Ig-like Receptor (KIR) with an Adaptor Protein Shc

  • Background: Cytotoxic function of killer cells is inhibited by specific recognition of class I MHC molecules on target cells by inhibitory killer Ig-like receptors (KIR) expressed on NK cells and some cytotoxic T cells. The inhibitory effect of KIR is accomplished by recruitment of SH2-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase (SHP) to the phosphotyrosine residues in the cytoplasmic tail. Methods: By in vitro coprecipitation experiments and transfection analysis, we investigated the association of KIR with an adaptor protein Shc in Jurkat T cells. Results: The cytoplasmic tail of KIR appeared to associate with an adaptor protein Shc in Jurkat T celilysates. Similar in vitro experiments showed that phosphorylated KIR cytoplasmic tail bound SHP-1 and Shc in Jurkat T cell lysates. The association of KIR with Shc was further confirmed by transfection analysis in 293T cells. Interestingly, however, Shc appeared to be replaced by SHP-2 upon engagement of KIR in 293T cells. Conclusion: Our data indicate that KIR associate with an adaptor protein Shc in Jurkat T cells, and suggest that KIR might have an additional role which is mediated by this adaptor protein.

한국인 영어학습자의 모음삽입현상에 대한 연구 (An Experimental Study of Vowel Epenthesis among Korean Learners of English)

  • Korean L2 speakers have many problems learning the pronunciation of English words. One of these problems is vowel epenthesis. Vowel epenthesis is the insertion of vowels into or between words, and Korean learners of English typically do this between successive consonants, either within clusters, or across syllables, word boundaries or following final coda consonants. The aim of this study was to investigate whether individual differences in vowel epenthesis are more closely related to the perception and production of segments (vowels and consonants) and prosody or if they are relatively independent from these processes. Subjects completed a battery of production and perception tasks. They read sentences, identified vowels and consonants, read target words likely to have epenthetic vowels (e.g., abduction) and demonstrated stress recognition and epenthetic vowel perception. The results revealed that Korean second-language learners (L2) have problems with vowel epenthesis in production and perception, but production and perception abilities were not correlated with one another. Vowel epenthesis was strongly related to vowel production and perception, suggesting that problems with segments may be combined with L1 phonotactics to produce epenthesis.

정보통신망상의 불법정보에 대한 경찰책임 (The Police Responsibility about Illegal Information on the Information Communication Network)

  • 정보통신망상에 무분별하게 유통되는 각종 불법정보에 대한 기존의 법적규제는 정보통신서비스제공자의 형사적 책임과 민사적 책임을 중심으로 논의되고 있다. 하지만 본 논문에서는 정보통신망상의 불법정보 차단을 위한 경찰권행사의 대상으로서 경찰책임의 문제로 접근해보았다. 이러한 인식을 근거로 정보통신망상 불법정보의 신속한 차단을 위해 행위책임자에 대한 직접적 규제방식이 아닌 상태책임자인 정보통신서비스제공자에 대한 간접적 규제방식을 채택하고 있는 현행 정보통신망법 제44조의7 제2항의 문제점과 개선방안을 제시하고자 하였다.

  • Judgment on the validity of patents on the subject of an arbitration does not. In other words, the occurrence of patents generated by the administrative action, and such administrative action by an authorized agency may be treated as legitimate until it is canceled. However, recent Supreme Court judgment on novelty and inventive step as well as judgments about the validity of the patent also made possible by the judiciary. This progress even in the mediation of an arbitral award which is premised on the validity of patents can be seen that possible. However, if the arbitration by an arbitrator if possible a certain portion of the limit exists. In other words, the effect of arbitration between the parties is valid. This patent is valid and invalid in arbitration even if the judgment relative to the effect ceases. In addition, the arbitration award and patent invalidation trial is in progress at the same time, if you consequently will reach a different conclusion. This can cause problems of double track. In addition, by extending the critical target recognition and enforcement in other countries can cause problems. Despite these problems, now about the validity of patents that it is possible intervention is necessary to discuss again.

초등학교 공간에서 학생 발달단계에 따른 장소감 형성 차이에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Difference in the Creation of Children's 'Sense of Place' followed by their Development Stages within the Elementary School)

  • The purpose of this study is to figure out the differences in children's 'sense of place' followed by their development stages and to suggest a positive space design of school suited by their development. Haeng-Hyeon Elementary school was selected as the target area. The research methods of this study were based on drawing the cognitive map and a questionnaire survey. Through the cognitive map, children's development stages were determined. Also, through an awareness assessment, the places where the children had deep recognition were extracted. The questionnaires were based on knowing the places where children create their 'sense of place' and its reasons. The sense of place development factors are comprehended as physical factor, behavioral factor and psychological factor based on Relph(1976). The results were organized into a guide which has to be considered when designing an elementary school, sorted by adequate space responding to children's development stages.

LVQ를 이용한 무선 센서 네트워크의 실내 위치 인식 (Indoor Localization in Wireless Sensor Network using LVQ)

  • 본 논문에서는 LVQ(Learning Vector Quantization) 네트워크를 이용한 수신 신호 세기(Received Signal Strength Indication) 기반 실내 위치인식 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 방식의 유용성을 확인하기 위하여 실험을 수행하였고, 일반적인 삼각측량 방법과 비교하였다. 실험실을 40개의 영역으로 나누고 6개의 고정 노드를 설치하였다. 무선 채널의 대수-정규 경로 손실 모델을 구성하고, 수신 신호 강도를 거리로 변환하였다. 변환한 정보를 LVQ의 입력으로 사용하였다. LVQ 네트워크의 학습을 위해 영역의 인덱스를 목표값으로 설정하였다. 실험을 통해서 최적의 서브클래스 개수를 결정하였고, LVQ 네트워크의 훈련을 통해서는 96%, 테스트를 통해서는 91%의 성능을 확인하였다.

  • 근래 소비자의 제품 선택은 단순한 소득 계층별이 아니라 다양한 라이프스타일에 따라서 변화되고 있으며, 그에 따라 수요의 다양화, 상품의 다품종화가 모든 산업에서 전개되고 있다. 즉 기업은 다양화, 다품종화 속에서 얼마나 생산성을 실현하느냐에 따라 미래 기업의 운명이 좌우되는 것이다. 본 논고에서는 제품개발에 있어서 상품성이 높은 제품개발에는 개발 과정에서의 표적시장 명확화가 불가결하다는 점에 인식에서 출발, 메이커만의 독자적 아이덴티티를 구축하여 브랜드 이미지를 형성하고, 그에 따른 브랜드 역할과 가치에 대해 자동차 사례를 중심으로 논의한 것이다. 이러한 브랜드 고유의 일관된 디자인 아이덴티티를 정립, 적용함으로서 상징성이나 감성적 성향이 점차 강조되어 가고 있는 제품속성에 대응, 고객이 만족하는 기대수준 이상의 가치를 제공하려는 데 의미가 있다.

3D VISION SYSTEM FOR THE RECOGNITION OF FREE PARKING SITE LOCATION

  • This paper describes a novel stereo vision based localization of free parking site, which recognizes the target position of automatic parking system. Pixel structure classification and feature based stereo matching extract the 3D information of parking site in real time. The pixel structure represents intensity configuration around a pixel and the feature based stereo matching uses step-by-step investigation strategy to reduce computational load. This paper considers only parking site divided by marking, which is generally drawn according to relevant standards. Parking site marking is separated by plane surface constraint and is transformed into bird's eye view, on which template matching is performed to determine the location of parking site. Obstacle depth map, which is generated from the disparity of adjacent vehicles, can be used as the guideline of template matching by limiting search range and orientation. Proposed method using both the obstacle depth map and the bird's eye view of parking site marking increases operation speed and robustness to visual noise by effectively limiting search range.

  • 본 논문은 지체장애인을 대상으로 한 네트워크 기반의 장기 게임(Janggi Game) 로봇을 구현하였다. 이를 위해 장기 게임에서 말의 이동은 무선 로봇과 음성인식 기법을 이용하여 설계 및 구현하였으며, 말의 제거와 장애물 처리 등은 물체 이동 알고리즘인 $A^{\ast}$ 알고리즘을 기반으로 하였다. 알고리즘의 구성 요소 및 구현 내용을 통해 지체장 애인의 원활한 장기 게임 진행을 실험하고 물체 이동 알고리즘의 효용성을 증명한다.
