The abolishment of the red ginseng monopoly act by the Korean government in 1996 resulted in a drastic change in the Korean ginseng industry, leading to a significant increase in the market size and consumption of ginseng products. Red ginseng is most popular type, with approximately 74% of harvested fresh ginseng being processed into various red ginseng products. Since 1997, there has been a substantial increase in the cultivation of ginseng for production of red ginseng, which, in turn, has contributed to the proliferation of ginseng processing companies. To investigate the products of ginseng manufacturing businesses, we select 200 companies primarily engaged in ginseng processing or specializing solely in ginseng. Our survey on the status of ginseng industry covered 8 different categories. 1) Root ginseng: There were 66 companies involved in manufacturing red ginseng root, accounting for 33.0% of all surveyed companies. This was followed by black ginseng root with 36 companies (18.0%) and red ginseng fine roots with 22 companies (11%). 2) Red ginseng products: A total of 144 companies were involved in manufacturing red ginseng pouches, making it the most common product category. This was closely followed by 142 companies producing pure(100%) red ginseng extract concentrate. 3) Fermented red ginseng products: Companies producing fermented red ginseng extract concentrate products were the most numerous, totaling 26. Following this, companies producing fermented red ginseng stick and pouch products were next in line. 4) Ginseng products: There were 15 companies involved in the production of ginseng products, with the majority focusing on ginseng tea. 5) Black ginseng products: Companies producing black ginseng extract concentrate were the most numerous, with 31 companies, followed by 26 companies producing black ginseng extract pouches. 6) Taegeuk ginseng products: Only 5 companies were involved in the production of taegeuk ginseng products. 7) Fermented black ginseng, and 8) Ginseng berry products: These categories are manufactured by less than 5 companies each. However, the variety in ginseng berry products suggests the potential for future growth. In the 2000s, a trend emerged with the development of new processed products aimed at enhancing the functional components of red ginseng, and these products have captured the attention of consumers. However, this study primarily focuses on black ginseng, fermented red ginseng/fermented black ginseng, and ginseng berry products as they have exerted a significant influence on the overall ginseng industry.
The study confirmed the relationship between attractiveness and suitability in the relationship between the formativeness of creating the artistic form of a virtual influencer who acts as an advertising model, advertising attention, and advertising attitude. To confirm this, the subjects of the study were the MZ generation and X generation, which have a high rate of SNS use. The analysis method used SPSS statistics 27.0 and SPSS process macro version. The research results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that attractiveness and suitability fully mediate the relationship between formativeness and advertising attention. In the path of formativeness and advertising attention, the total effect was found to be higher than the direct effect, and it was confirmed that there was a double parallel mediation effect through attractiveness and suitability in the relationship between the formativeness of virtual influencers and advertising attention. Second, it was confirmed that formativeness affects the mediating variable, attractiveness, but attractiveness does not affect attitude toward advertising. Since formativeness affects suitability and suitability in turn influences attitude toward advertising, it was confirmed that there is a full mediating effect between these variables. According to these results, the parallel mediating effect of attractiveness and formativeness was not confirmed in the relationship between formativeness and attitude towards advertising. The above study is significant in that it presents academic implications and practical implications by examining the dual and parallel mediating effects of attractiveness and suitability in the relationship between formativeness, advertising attention, and advertising attitude variables, which are considered in the production of virtual influencers.

In In-situ radioactivity measurement techniques, efficiency calibration models use predefined models to simulate a sample's geometry and radioactivity distribution. However, simplified efficiency calibration models lead to uncertainties in the efficiency curves, which in turn affect the radioactivity concentration results. This study aims to develop an efficiency calibration optimization methodology to improve the accuracy of in-situ gamma radiation measurements for byproducts from industrial facilities. To accomplish the objective, a drive mechanism for rotational measurement of an byproduct simulator and a sample was constructed. Using ISOCS, an efficiency calibration model of the designed object was generated. Then, the sensitivity analysis of the efficiency calibration model was performed, and the efficiency curve of the efficiency calibration model was optimized using the sensitivity analysis results. Finally, the radiation concentration of the simulated subject was estimated, compared, and evaluated with the designed certification value. For the sensitivity assessment of the influencing factors of the efficiency calibration model, the ISOCS Uncertainty Estimator was used for the horizontal and vertical size and density of the measured object. The standard deviation of the measurement efficiency as a function of the longitudinal size and density of the efficiency calibration model decreased with increasing energy region. When using the optimized efficiency calibration model, the measurement efficiency using IUE was improved compared to the measurement efficiency using ISOCS at the energy of 228Ac (911 keV) for the nuclide under analysis. Using the ISOCS efficiency calibration method, the difference between the measured radiation concentration and the design value for each simulated subject measurement direction was 4.1% (1% to 10%) on average. The difference between the estimated radioactivity concentration and the design value was 3.6% (1~8%) on average when using the ISOCS IUE efficiency calibration method, which was closer to the design value than the efficiency calibration method using ISOCS. In other words, the estimated radioactivity concentration using the optimized efficiency curve was similar to the designed radioactivity concentration. The results of this study can be utilized as the main basis for the development of regulatory technologies for the treatment and disposal of waste generated during the operation, maintenance, and facility replacement of domestic byproduct generation facilities.

Software is expensive, labor-intensive, and time-consuming to develop. To solve this problem, many organizations turn to publicly available open source, but they often do so without knowing exactly what they're getting into. Older versions of open source have various security vulnerabilities, and even when newer versions are released, many users are still using them, exposing themselves to security threats. Additionally, compliance with licenses is essential when using open source, but many users overlook this, leading to copyright issues. To solve this problem, you need a tool that analyzes open source versions, vulnerabilities, and license information. Traditional Blackduck provide a wealth of open source information when you request the source code, but it's a heavy lift to build the environment. In addition, Fossology extracts the licenses of open source, but does not provide detailed information such as versions because it does not have its own database. To solve these problems, this paper proposes a version and license detection tool that identifies the open source of a user's source code by measuring the source code similarity, and then detects the version and license. The proposed method improves the accuracy of similarity over existing source code similarity measurement programs such as MOSS, and provides users with information about licenses, versions, and vulnerabilities by analyzing each file in the corresponding open source in a web-based lightweight platform environment. This solves capacity issues such as BlackDuck and the lack of open source details such as Fossology.
This research explores the potential of purchased rental housing as a versatile solution for residential development. By focusing on smaller-scale construction compared to large residential complexes, purchased rental housing projects offer benefits such as shorter project durations and enhanced flexibility to accommodate residents' needs. This public-private collaboration extends to community planning, enabling tailored models beyond traditional rental housing frameworks. Currently, purchased rental housing, which is predominantly comprised of multi-unit house, multi-household house, and rowhouses, is in high demand and in short supply in metropolitan areas. Utilizing volumetric modular housing, considerations for module size and transportability are paramount, while advancements in construction methods, particularly prefabrication, offer efficiency and quality benefits. This study proposed three construction techniques to plan modular housing models and enhance construction and demolition efficiency: planning without columns in the middle of the unit, core production using volumetric modular construction methods, and industrialization of construction components alongside dry construction methods. Utilizing these methods, a new construction model for purchase lease housing was presented to address the need for new housing in the context of ageing housing renovation and demand fluctuations. The model comprises 16 units, with sizes ranging from 36 m2 to 54 m2, and can be applied on sites larger than 600 m2 with access to roads wider than 6 m. This promotes cluster-style development, which in turn increases construction efficiency in nearby plots.
This study was initiated to explore the Christian educational challenges of building a "Peer Consciousness" in North and South Korea after reunification. During the period of division, North and South Korea have became heterogeneous in almost all elements of society, including politics, economy, culture, and education. Considering the various social conflicts that the two heterogeneous societies will experience in the process of reunification, the issue of social integration is no longer a side issue of institutional integration or economic integration, but has become an essential element in itself. This is why the Korean church and Christian scholars need to study in depth the social conflicts and integration issues that may arise before and after reunification. For the study, we analyzed the forms of social conflict based on the theory of ''Human Needs Theory', which states that human needs are the conditions for social conflict. Social conflicts stem from the unfulfillment of various human needs, which in turn extend to identity conflicts that seek to form a sense of belonging. In light of the case of unified Germany, where social conflicts converged into identity conflicts, I predicted that conflicts in unified Korea will soon become identity conflicts. The direction of Christian education that should suture the conflicts in the post-reunification society was derived from theological reflection on the concept of 'publicness of Christian education' and 'kingdom of God'. As a concrete educational plan for social integration, I presented the discourse of love of God and love of neighbor through Christian education for dual identity as a citizen and disciple, and emphasized the need for re-socialization education through faith communities
The purpose of this study is to understand how the image of a tourist destination perceived by potential tourists, who indirectly experience negative incidents through social media, affects their behavioral intentions. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior, the relationship between image and behavioral intention is explained through attitudes toward the destination, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. Furthermore, the study analyzes whether the quality of the relationship with the tourist destination perceived by potential tourists moderates the relationship between the image of the destination and attitudes toward it when exposed to negative incidents. A scenario-based survey was conducted with 256 potential Chinese tourists. The results showed that the overall image of the destination had a positive effect (+) on attitudes toward the destination, subjective norms, and perceived control. In turn, attitudes toward the destination, subjective norms, and perceived control all positively (+) influenced behavioral intentions. Lastly, the moderating effect of relationship quality between overall image and attitudes toward the destination was verified. The implications of this study suggest that when negative incidents occur at a tourist destination, negative images can be perceived. Therefore, local governments should ensure thorough inspections and enforcement regarding pricing, services, and illegal operations to prevent such occurrences. Additionally, destination marketers should strive to enhance marketing management and promotion efforts, particularly working to establish positive relationship quality with tourists who have previously visited the destination.
Social Network Service(SNS) has fundamentally changed the scope, boundaries, and dynamics of social interactions, becoming an integral part of everyday social communication for individuals and significantly altering the decision-making processes of individuals and organizations. Although prior studies have agreed that individual motivations significantly affect travel experience sharing behavior on SNS, different motivations need to be further examined. Also, there is little empirical study that examines the relationships between social capital and motivations. To address these gaps, this study developed a research model to investigate how two types of social capital (i.e., bridging and bonding) influence individual motivations (i.e., self-enhancement and altruism motivations), which in turn contributes to travel experience sharing behavior on SNS. The online survey was conducted from March 3 to March 17, 2021, and 516 responses were included in the data analysis. Structural Equation Modeling was applied to test the hypotheses in a research model. This research provided a comprehensive exploration of the relationship between motivations and social capital, contributing to a better understanding of why tourists share their travel experiences on SNS.
This study examined the actor-effects and partner-effects of overt narcissism as a personality factor and conflict resolution styles as an interpersonal factor on marital satisfaction among couples. Data were collected from 337 couples through a survey conducted by a research institute. Structural equation modeling and individual mediation effects were verified using the Actor-Partner Interdependence Mediation Model (APIMeM) in the AMOS 28.0 program. The results of this study are as follows: First, both husbands' and wives' extraversion showed direct self-effects on their own marital satisfaction. Additionally, husbands' overt narcissism demonstrated a direct partner-effect on wives' marital satisfaction. Second, overt narcissism in both husbands and wives showed indirect self-effects through conflict resolution styles on marital satisfaction. Higher levels of husbands' overt narcissism influenced wives' maladaptive conflict resolution styles, which in turn affected marital satisfaction for both husbands and wives. This study highlights the importance of husbands' overt narcissism and wives' conflict resolution styles as significant variables influencing marital satisfaction. It suggests that differentiated interventions considering overt narcissism traits and gender-specific characteristics could potentially enhance marital satisfaction for couples.
This study aims to investigate the factors that may influence mobile dependence among school-aged children (7-9 years old), a growing social issue. Understanding the causes of mobile dependence is crucial as it can significantly impact school adaptation among these children. Given that children in this age group are greatly influenced not only by their individual characteristics but also by environmental factors, particularly parental influence, this research focuses on examining the psychological state of parents (e.g., parental stress, depression), parental ambivalence towards mobile use, and parental intervention in mobile use. The study was conducted through surveys at two different points in time. The results indicate that parental stress affects parental depression, ambivalence towards mobile use, parental intervention, and ultimately the mobile dependence of school-aged children, which in turn impacts their school adaptation. Through this study, we were able to verify the mechanisms by which parental stress and psychological attitudes toward mobile use influence mobile dependence and school adaptation in school-aged children.
