  • 최근 투명 산화물 전극 (TCO)은 LED, electronic display, solar cell, touch screen panel (TSP) 등 다양한 분야에 많이 사용되고 있다. TCO는 높은 광 투과도와 전도성으로 인해 여러 분야에 많이 사용되고 있으며, 특히 ITO (Sn-doped indium oxide)가 display 분야에 많이 적용되고 있다. 하지만, ITO는 투과도와 면저항의 반비례 관계를 가지므로 더 낮은 면저항이 요구되는 대면적 TSP 분야에 적용되기에는 많은 개선이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 metal mesh film의 연구를 통해 TSP 분야에 사용되는 ITO를 대체하고자 한다. 제작된 mesh film은 모두 면저항은 $15{\Omega}/{\square}$ 이하, 광 투과도 90% (@550nm) 이상을 나타내었다.

  • 본 연구는 윈도우 커버 뒷면에 2층 구조의 전극으로 각 전극들의 상호 정전용량을 이용한 터치스크린 패널을 개발하였다. 정전용량 방식의 터치스크린패널(Touch Screen Panel; TSP)은 필름을 사용하는 저항막 방식에 비해 내구성이 좋아 작은 손상에도 동작에 지장이 없다. 또한, 터치의 정확도가 높고, 광학적 특성이 우수하며 다중 포인트가 가능하다. 윈도우 일체형 TSP는 박막증착을 통해 X축,Y축 방향의 전극 패턴을 형성하였고 전극 교차부는 포토리소그래피공정을 통해 절연막 형성 및 Bridge, Bezel 전극을 형성하여 TSP를 제조 하였다.

Characterization of Size distribution of Anion Species in Atmospheric Aerosols (대기에어로졸중 음이온성분에 대한 입경분포의 변화특성)

  • Aerosol size distribution was determined using Anderson sampler for the anions( sulfate nitrate and chloride ) and TSP. Ionic species concentration and size distribution have been investigated in the daytime and nightime individually. Size classified samples were extracted with distilled water and analyzed for C $l^{[-10]}$ , N $O_3$$^{[-10]}$ and S $O_4$$^{2-}$, by ion chromatography. The size distribution of these ions and TSP was analyzed to investigate the seasonal and diurnal variation of concentrations as follows: (1)Size distribution of TSP showed bi- modal type in the daytime, but indicated tri-mode distribution in the nightime without any seasonal variation. (2)Sulfate concentrations were higher in fine- mode both in the daytime and nightime but fraction of sulfate was higher in coarse-mode during the Yellow Sand Period. (3)Nitrate and Chloride ions are dominant in fine-mode in winter while dominant in coarse-mode in the summer.

Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in TSP in Seoul Ambient Air (서울시 부유분진증 질산암모늄 농도)

  • Concentration of volatile particulate nitrate(NH$_4$NO$_3$) in TSP in ambient air was determined from Feb. to Oct 1993. Sampling was carried out using a two-stage Andersen air sampler at the top of a five-story building located at Kon- Kuk University in Seoul Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in TSP was measured by Pyrolysis of sample filters at 16$0^{\circ}C$ for 1hr. Concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ was higher in winter time compared with that in summer time. Also, concentration of NH$_4$NO$_3$ was higher in fine particles compared with that in coarse particle. The range of NH$_4$NO$_3$concentration was between 2.99 and 9.86 $\mu\textrm{g}$/㎥. Weight fraction of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in total particulate nitrate was 31.1~59.5%, and weight fraction of NH$_4$NO$_3$ in YSP was 2.1~11.2%.

  • TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem)는 주어진 N개의 City들을 단 한번씩만 거쳐 출발지로 되돌아오는 경로들 중 가장 작은 비용이 소요되는 경로를 찾는 문제이며, 고전적인 최적화 문제로 널리 알려져 있다. City의 수가 증가하면 최적 Tour를 찾기 위한 연산 시간이 길어지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 대규모 TSP의 효율적 해결을 위해 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 대규모의 City들의 집합을 두개의 소집합으로 분할하고, 병합을 위해 하나의 Junction City를 지정한다. 분할된 두개의 소집합 각각의 최적 Tour를 구한 후 분할된 두 최적 Tour를 병합하여 하나의 근사 Tour를 구한다. 지정된 Junction City는 병합 시 최적 병합조건을 구하는 연산의 간편화를 기대할 수 있다.

  • Effect of process factors on the sensitivity of inner-type digital switching TSP was analyzed. From these results, we have successfully fabricated inner-type digital switching TSP embedded in 3.2-inch WQVGA PLS mode LCD panel. During many factors, TFT sensor structure for reducing the PI thickness and a separation distance of $0.3{\mu}m$ between the conductive column spacer (C/S) and TFT sensor were essential. Glass thickness and main C/S density were also important factors. This technology can be applied to wide angle of view hand-held phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and tablet PCs.

  • Different from the LCD that have two glass substrates on the top and the bottom, EPD have an advantage that is using the bottom glass substrate and the top e-ink sheet. So, it is impossible to apply R or C type TSP that need bottom and top glass plane. We successfully implemented the TSP (Touch Screen Panel) based on the light over the EPD (Electro Phoretic Display).

  • Optical instruments based on polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) have been used to inspect transparent electrodes. Generally the operating voltage of an inspection instrument using PDLC is very high, over 300 V, reducing its lifetime and reliability. The operating-voltage issue becomes more serious in the inspection of touch-screen panel (TSP) electrodes, due to the bezel structure protruding over the electrodes. We have theoretically calculated the parameters affecting the operating voltage as a function of the distance between the TSP and the PDLC, the thickness, and the dielectric constant of the sublayers when the inspection module was away from the TSP electrodes. We have experimentally verified the results, and have proposed a way to reduce the operating voltage by substituting a plastic substrate film with a hard coating layer of smaller thickness and higher dielectric constant.

Energy-efficient charging of sensors for UAV-aided wireless sensor network

  • Lack of sufficient battery capacity is one of the most important challenges impeding the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). Recent innovations in the areas of wireless energy transfer and rechargeable batteries have made it possible to advance WSNs. Therefore, in this article, we propose an energy-efficient charging of sensors in a WSN scenario. First, we have formulated the problem as an integer linear programming (ILP) problem. Then a utility function-based greedy algorithm named UGreedy/UF1 is proposed for solving the problem. Finally, the performance of UGreedy/UF1 is analyzed along with other baseline algorithms: UGreedy/UF2, 2-opt TSP, and Greedy TSP. The simulation results show that UGreedy/UF1 performs better than others both in terms of the deadline missing ratio of sensors and the total energy consumption of UAVs.

  • 2008년 7월 인터넷 기사에 "살인적 노동, 택배 배송직원의 하루"라는 글이 올라왔다. 하루 16시간을 뛰어 다녀야 하는 배송직원들은 자신이 배달하는 지역별로 차에 물건을 싣는 동시에 배송지역을 지도로 확인하는 작업까지 해야 한다. 그리고 배달경로 설정 또한 전적으로 그 지역 배송직원의 개인적인 노하우에 의존하여 이루어진다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 물건의 배송정보가 RFID에 저장이 되어있다는 가정하에 지리정보시스템과 TSP(Traveling salesman problem)을 이용하여 차에 실려있는 물건의 배송지역을 디스플레이해주고 다수의 경유지를 최소 거리와 최소 시간에 방문할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다.
