Ecological toxicity testing of the whole-effluent from the ozone ballast water treatment system was conducted as specified in the quality assurance project plans (QAPP). The growth inhibition test with microalgae, acute aquatic toxicity test with the Rotifer reproduction, toxicity test (or population growth) with the Rotifer, survival and growth toxicity test with larval fish and sediment toxicity test with amphipod were carried out to evaluate ecological toxicity on the movile test barge.

This study was performed to determine the effects of anastomosis on the internal diameter and wall thickness of jugular vein. Tro shepherd dogs were used for this experiment. In dog 1, xylazine(2 mg/kg) and ketamine(5.5 mg/kg) were injected intramuscularly for induction followed by enflurane(3%) anesthesia. In dog 2, acepromazine(0.03 mg/kg) and ketamine(5 mg/kg) were injected intravenously for induction followed by enflurane(3%) anesthesia. The dogs were heparinized(1 mg/kg) for the prevention of thrombosis. After jugular vein was exposed by incision of left cervical area, two Johns Hopkins bulldog clamps were clamped. Jugular vein was cut between two clamps, and it was reanastomosed using 5-0 silk. Ultrasonography was done along the jugular vein on both sides of each dogs 21 days after anastomosis surgery. The internal diameter and circumference of the vein in the anastomosis area were markedly reduced with thickening of the vein wall, but no thrombi were observed.

Leaky modes on a circular dielectric rod are investigated from the precisely determined normalized complex propagation constants using Davidenko's complex root finding technique. Below the cutoff frequency of the guided mode, distinct frequency regions that have unique properties are observed, such as nonphysical region, antenna mode region, reactive mode region, and spectral gap region. The effects of tro design parameters, dielectric constants and the radius of the rod, to the leaky mode characteristics are also considered.

We study the vectors related tro states on the Cuntz algebra Ο(sub)n and prove hat, for tow states $\omega$ and $\rho$ on Ο(sub)n with $\omega$│UHF(sub)n = $\rho$│UHF(sub)n, if ($\omega$(s$_1$), …, $\omega$(s(sub)n)) and ($\rho$(s$_1$),…, $\rho$(s(sub)n)) are unit vectors, then they and linearly dependent. We also study the linear functional on Ο(sub)n associated to a sequence of unit vectors in C(sup)n which is the generalization of the Cuntz state. We show that if the linear functional associated to a sequence of unit vectors with a certain condition is a state, then it is just the Cuntz state.

An expert system executes the inference, based on the knowledge of specific domain. the reliability on the results of inference depends upon both the consistency and accuracy of knowledge. This is the reason why expert system requires the facilities which can practice an access to the various kinds of knowledge and maintain the consistency and accuracy of knowledge an maintain the consistency and accuracy of knowledge. This paper is to implement an expert system permitting an access of declarative and procedural knowledge in the knowledge base and in the data base. This paper is also to implement a knowledge acquisition system which adds the knowledge a only if its accuracy and consistency are maintained, after verifying the potential errors such as contradiction, redundancy, circulation, non-reachable rule and non-lined rule. In consequence, the expert system realizes a good access to the various sorts of knowledge and increases the reliability on the results of inference. The knowledge acquisition system contributes tro strengthening man-machine interface that enables users to add the knowledge easily to the knowledge base.

근접촉쌍성을 분광형에 따라 A형과 F형으로 분류하여 각각의 물리적 특성과 진화를 조사하였다. 그 결과, 근접촉쌍성이 TRO 이론에 따른 진화 경로를 겪는다고 가정하면, F형이 A형에 비하여 더 접촉에 가까운 즉, W UMa형에 근접한 상태에 있을 가능성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. NCBs의 질량-반경 관계, 질량-광도 관계 및 H-R도를 조사하였는데 그 결과 A형이 F형에 비하여 질량교환이 활발할 것으로 생각된다. 근접촉쌍성은 ZAMS와 평행하게 나타나며 접촉쌍성의 진화 위치와 거의 일치하고 있다.

오늘날 전기화재의 정확한 원인분석과 조사가 전계-열계해석 소프트웨어의 발전에 힘입어 전계-열계 해석 이론을 바탕으로 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션에 의해 체계적으로 연구되고 있으나, 매우 미흡한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상기의 상황에 기초해서 국내 L사 제품(600V, VVF : Three Core)의 전선을 모델로 하여 과부하 및 단락사고시 발생되는 전류 크기 및 열화시간에 따른 전선의 열해석을 전계-열계 유한요소법(Flux2D)를 통하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 하고자 한다.

This study analyzes the values of vintage in Korean fashion prosumer's activities and elevates the values as one characteristic of Korean modern fashion. The methodology included literary and empirical studies as well as prosumer and modern Korean vintage fashion literary studies. In-depth interviews were done to analyze the values of vintage in fashion prosumer's activities. The values of vintage fashion for Millennials are creative activities based on public interest, expanded reproducing through sharing daily looks and self-expression through the scarcity of vintage clothing. Prosumer characteristics are self-satisfaction and sharing. Fashion prosumer's vintage trends are new-tro, communication, cultural complex, and sharing of daily life. The formativeness in fashion prosumer's activities are heritage, text, activity and image. The meanings are creation, communication, experience and sharing. Fashion prosumers are developing the new genre of 'vintage fashion activity'; in addition, values towards vintage fashion activity are also drawing international interest.

It is proved that there is a one to one correspondence between representations of C^*-ternary ring M and C^*-algebra 𝒜(M). We discuss primitive and modular ideals of a C^*-ternary ring and prove that a closed ideal I is primitive or modular if and only if so is the ideal 𝒜(I) of 𝒜(M). We also show that a closed ideal in M is primitive if and only if it is the kernel of some irreducible representation of M. Lastly, we obtain approximate identity characterization of strongly quasi-central C^*-ternary ring and the ideal structure of the TRO V ⊗^tmin B for a C^*-algebra B.

We show the existence of inductive limit in the category of C^*-ternary rings. It is proved that the inductive limit of C^*-ternary rings commutes with the functor 𝓐 in the sense that if (M_n, ϕ_n) is an inductive system of C^*-ternary rings, then $\lim_{\rightarrow}$ 𝓐(M_n) = 𝓐$(\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n})$. Some local properties (such as nuclearity, exactness and simplicity) of inductive limit of C^*-ternary rings have been investigated. Finally we obtain $\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n}^{**}$ = $(\lim_{\rightarrow}\;M_{n})^{**}$.
