  • 본 논문의 목적은 우리별 1,2호의 디지탈 신호처리부(DSPE, digital signal processing experiment)를 설계, 제작하고 운용, 실험한 결과를 정리하는데 있다. 다목적 임무에 적합한 유연성(flexibility)과 열악한 우주환경에 적절히 대응할 수 있는 신뢰성을 가진 시스템을 설계, 제작하였다. 지상 및 궤도상에서 몇 가지 수행된 실험중 고속(19.2kbps) 소프트웨어 변조기의 구현을 집중적으로 고찰했다. 상용으로 개발된 부동소수(floating point) 연산형 신호처리 전용 프로세서인 TMS320C30의 장착은 저궤도 위성에 최초로 시도되었으며 차세대 위성의 각종 탑재물에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper presents an example of the development of motor drives for machine tools. Machine tools need motor drives with high control precision and performance. We developed a motor drive system that meets these requirements. The converter, the one component of drive system, adopts modular structure and high DC-link voltage. The drive which consists rest part of drive system is developed based on TMS320C32 DSP and state-of-the-art circuit technology. In this paper each developed parts are described in terms of its structure, specification and features.

  • In this paper, a controller for the linear motor with high speed and stiffness is implemented using SERCOS interface which is a real time communication protocol between the numerical controller(NC) and the motor driver. The proposed controller is mainly composed of current, speed, and position controller, which are designed using the 32-bit DSP(TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device (EPM7128), and Intelligent Power Module(IPM) to enhance reliability and compactness of the system. The experimental results show the effective performance of the proposed controller for he linear motor with high speed and stiffness.

  • In this paper, a controller design for high speed and stiffness linear motor is implemented. The designed controller is mainly composed of speed and current controller, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor(DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method. This system is implemented by using 32-bit DSP(TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device(EPM7128), and IPM(Intelligent Power Module) for compact and powerful system design. The experimental results show the effective performance of controller for high speed and stiffness linear motor.

  • In this paper, a controller design for coreless linear synchronous motor is proposed. The designed controller is mainly composed of speed and current control, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor(DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method.   • In this paper, the design and the implementation of the adaptive learning rate neural network controller for an articulate robot, which is being developed (or) has been developed in our Automatic Control Laboratory, are mainly discussed. The controller reduces software computational load via distributed processing method using multiple CPU's, and simplifies hardware structures by the time-division control with TMS32OC31 DSP chip. Proposed neural network controller with adaptive learning rate structure using expert's heuristics can improve learning speed. The proposed controller verifies its superiority by comparing response characteristics of conventional controller with those of the proposed controller that are obtained from the experiments for the 5 axis vertical articulated robot. We, also, present the generalization property of proposed controller for unlearned trajectory and the change of load through experimental data.

  • 본 논문에서는 레이저 디스플레이, 레이저 가공, 마킹 장비등에 사용되는 갈바노미터의 제어 시스템을 설계하였다. 갈바노미터 및 거울을 DC모터가 연결된 기본적인 2차 시스템으로 모델링하였으며, 이것의 시간 영역 분석 및 주파수 영역 분석에 기초하여 기본적인 PID제어기를 설계하였다. 기존 시스템은 폰트를 이용한 모션 발생을 위해 하나의 PC가 더 필요한데, 본 연구에서는 이 역할도 DSP가 담당하기 때문에 매우 큰 비용 절감의 효과가 있다. 갈바노미터의 정밀 위치 측정 및 구동을 위하여 16비트A/D, B/A변환기를 사용하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 제어 시스템이 실제 환경에서도 매우 잘 동작함을 확인하였다. 통신은 USB를 사용하였고, 따라서, 본 논문에서 제안된 제어 시스템은 사용자의 PC에 쉽게 연결될 수 있다는 장점도 가지고 있다.

  • In this study a control system with variable gain schedule using real speed and moving direction is proposed to control a Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor (PMLSM) with Z-axis operation structure. The implementation of the controller is designed on the DSP TMS320C32 board. PMLSM is operated by using 4-point absolute positions profile with each velocity, acceleration and deceleration. The direction of the initial angle action for starting is set from the lower limit point to the upper limit point on PMLSM operation stroke. The effectiveness of a control system with variable gain schedule is demonstrated by some experimental results.

  • This paper describes the characteristic feather of propulsion system adopting mass production. The train formation is composed of 4 cars by 2 Motor cars and 2 Train cars. Acceleration rate must be 3.0 km/h/s or more when the car starts up to 35km/h by 16ton of passenger load. The system information supervision is easy because the system is controlled to perfect digital circuits, all information of an action is stored in a memory and is managed. The control system is composed of a fully digital circuit and a high level software such as C language. The DSP TMS320C31 is used for main processor and has the capability of 50MHz, 32bit floating point operation and has a C compiler. Therefore, the implementation of control algorithm and the change of function are easy. VVVF inverter using IGBT conducted variable combined test, environment test using chamber, interface test and field test etc.

  • This paper presents the control algorithm for maximum efficiency drives of an induction motor system with the high dynamic performance. This system uses a simple model of the induction motor that includes equations of iron losses. The model, which only requires the parameters of induction motor, is referred to a field-oriented frame. The minimum point of the input power can be obtained at the steady state condition. The reference torque and flux currents for the vector control of induction motors are calculated by the optimal efficiency control algorithm. The drive system with the proposed efficiency optimization controller has been implemented by a 32 bit floating point TMS320C32 DSP chip. The results show the effectiveness of the control strategy proposed for the induction motor drive.
