A design method of network Topology for Integrated Management of various Networks is prposed and an example is shown. The TMN-DCN devices are assigned for each of the various networks. These devices have functions of network management. Also we propose the simple design methods of the network topology with survivability as one of the network management elements. The design methods are very simple but very useful. Because there is no general design algorithm for optimal topology with network survivability.

The main goal of this paper is to establish the management network structure by adopting TMN concept. Hence, the management network structure consists in layers; from management application layer to lower physical layer In this paper, TMN-DCN structure is designed. That means, since the current communication network technology has developed so fast and new and more diverse communication networks have appeared, There is a need to process each management information in fast manner, The design method of management network physical structure that enhances the efficiency in network management with prompt transmission and reception of management information is proposed and the architecture is designed as well. Although there is some increase in installation fee for total link that constitutes the physical structure in lower physical layer. network management can be promptly implemented since the structure that can transfer the management information fastest is proposed.

플랫폼 독립형 클래스 저장소(PICR : Platform Independent Class Repository)에 저장되어 있는 컴포넌트를 망관리 시스템의 분삭객체로 아웃소싱하여 사용하는 Farming 방법론을 실제 TMN 에이전트의 구축에 적용하였을 때 나타나는 결과를 ATM과 같은 고속망을 DCN(Data Communication Network)으로 하는 경우에 대하여 성능평가를 하였다.
