Studies on the Synthesis of Naphthoquinoids-1 : Formal Total Synthesis of (+)-6-Oxo-3,4,4a,5-tetra hydro-3-hydroxy-2,2-dimethylnaphtho-1,2-pyran

  • A new formal total synthesis of (+)-6-oxo-3, 4, 4a, 5-tetrahydro-3-hydroxy-2, 2-dimenthylnaphtho-1, 2-pyran (1) which has been known to have bactericidal, bacteriostatic, fungicidal, fungistatic activities against Staphylococcus aureus and other microorganism, is described. The key reaction involves enantioselective prenylation of .alpha.-tetralone via chiral lithioenamine.

  • In the recognition of the gases using the quartz crystal rnicrobalance (QCM) coated with the film materials, it is important to obtain the recognition ability of gases, and the stability of film coated above the QCM. Especially, the thickness of film coated above the QCM is decreased according with the using circumstance and time of QCM gas sensor. Therefore, the sensing chararcteristics of film is changed with these. In this paper, we coated the lipid GC materials varing with the blended amount of PVC(Po1y Vinyl Chloride) and solution (Tetra Hydrofan:THF) above QCM to obtain the stability of lipid PC film. QCM gas sensors coated with film materials were measured the frequency change in the chamber of stationary gas sensing system injected 1-hexane, ethyl acetate, ethanol and benzene of 20.4 respectively. Also, we measured the degradation characteristics of QCM gas sensor to show the properties of stability.

재난 통신 및 네트워크 기술 및 발전 방향

  • 본 논문에서는 재난 통신 및 네트워크 기술 그리고 앞으로의 발전 방향에 대해서 소개 하고자 한다. 제 1장에서는 주요 공공재난안전통신 기술들을 소개한다. 특히 동적 그룹통신기술(Push-To-Talk), 망 복구 및 생존성 향상 기술, 긴급호 구현 기술을 소개하며 또한 재난통신기술 표준화 필요성에 대해서 간단히 설명한다. 제 2장에서는 국내외 재난통신기술 동향을 살펴본다. 특히 미국, 유럽, 아시아에서 사용하는 주파수 대역 및 협대역 및 준광대역 주파수 공용 무선통신 기술인 TETRA(Terrestrial Trunked Radio), iDEN(Integrated Digital Enhanced Network) 및 APCO-P25(Association of Public Safety Communications Officials - Project 25)에 대해서 다룬다. 제 3장에서는 재난대비 미래 광대역 통신체계에 대해서 설명하며 마지막으로 제 4장에서는 본 논문의 결론을 맺는다.

  • Sufficient removal rate with adequate selectivity to realize the pattern mask of tetra-ethyl ortho-silicate (TEOS) film for the vertical sidewall angle were obtained by chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) with commercial silica slurry as a function of pH variation. The changes of X-ray diffraction pattern and dielectric constant by CMP process were negligible.

  • The increasing hydroxyl ($OH^-$) groups diffused into the TEOS and then weakened reactants such as H-C-O-Si bonds on the surface of TEOS film were actively generated with the increase of slurry temperature. These soft reactants on the surface of TEOS film could be removed easily by mechanical parts of CMP.

  • Ethanolic tetra carbonylhydridoferrate solution combined with dialdehyde (no of carbon; 4,5,6) is very efficient for the selective transformation of amino group into N-heterocyclic compound. However, a large variety of both aliphatic and aromatic amines react with the ferrate-pimelaldehyde at room temperature under an atmospheric pressure of carbon monoxide to give the corresponding N-(cyclohexylmethyl)-N-alkyiamine derivatives in moderate yields instead of the corresponding N-substituted perhydroazocine derivatives.

Optimum Synthesis and Characterization of Precursor Solution for a Hard Coating Silica Film Prepared by Sol-Gel Process

  • Crack-free hard coating siIica films were prepared by sol-gel processfrom twokinds of silicon alkoxide (tetra-ethoxysilane and methyltrimethoxysilane) and two kinds of alcohol (methanol and isopropyl alcohol) with an acid catalyst,acetic acid. A silicate framework of the precursor solution was investigated by infrared spectros-copy (IR) in the process of hydrolysis and condensation. Theextent of the condensation in the intermediates was elucidated by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and 29Si-NMR spectroscopy. The hard coating films werecharacterized by IR,scanning electron microscope (SEM), thermo gravimetric analyzer (TGA) and dif-ferential scanning calroimeter (DSC). The synthetic condition for the crack-free and transparent silica film for-mation was optimized interms of starting materials for the precursor solution as well as preparation method of the silica film.

Selective Acyl and Alkylation of Monobenzoyl p-tert- Buty1calix[4]arene

  • Several calixarene derivatives of 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25-(3,5-dinitrobenzoyloxy)-26,27,28-trihydroxycalix[4]arene 2 were synthesized by the reaction of 2 with several acyl and alkylating agents in the presence of base such as pyridine and K2CO3 in THF. Acylation of monobenzoylated p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene 2 yielded their corresponding 1,3-diacylated calix[4]arenes 3a-3g. On the other hand, alkylation of 2 produced a variety calix[4]arene derivatives such as 1,2- and 1,3-disubstituted calix[4]arenes 4a-4c, 4e-4f, or 1,2,4-trisubstituted calix[4]arene 4d. 1,2-Disubstituted calix[4]arenes are chiral. All derivatives exist as a cone conformation based on NMR studies.

Conformations of the Acyl Esters of p-Tert-butylcalix[4]arene and Calix[4]arene

  • Tetra acyl esters of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene and calix[4]arene, including acetyl, propionyl, butyryl and isobutyryl, are synthesized and their conformations are inferred from $^1H-NMR$ and $^{13}C-NMR$ spectra. The conformer distribution is affected by the presence of t-butyl group, whereas the acylation products of p-t-butylcalix[4]arene are the cone conformers, those of calix[4]arene are mostly partial cone and/or 1,3-alternate conformers. The conformational outcome is also affected by the method of preparation, the NaH-induced reaction is prefered to the acid-induced reaction for cone and partial cone. Interestingly, 1,2-alternate conformer was isolated in 14% yield from the butyrylation of calix[4]arene.
