만성두통 환자에서 한방 치료 후 인영혈 부위의 뇌혈류에 대한 연구 (Study on Cerebral Blood Flow in In-Young(ST9) after Treatment on Chronic Daily Headache Patients)

  • Objectives : This study was performed to change of blood flow in In-Young(ST9) after treatment on chronic daily headache patients. Methods : Monitoring of TCD was examined in 10' s chronic daily headache patients before and after treatment. Mean velocity flow, systolic velocity and pulsatility index were analyzed from TCD at In-Young(ST9). The patients was laid for 20 minutes before treatment and also for treatment. Results : The results showed a significant(p<0.05: Paired T-test) decrease in mean velocity flow and systolic velocity. but there were no significant differences in pulsatility index. Conclusions : These results suggest that there were significant change on blood flow in In-young of chronic daily headache patients.

Nitrox 공기통의 기체 분석에 의한 스쿠버다이버 사망원인 추정에 관한 사례연구 (Case on the Death of Scuba Diver by Analyzing the Air in Nitrox Cylinder)

  • Going underwater is supposed to begin with the history of human beings. At first it was confined to relatively shallow level, less than several meters by holding breath. Recently, deep level diving has been necessary for such purpose as construction, maritime salvage, military operations, research and sports by using SCUBA(self-contained underwater breathing apparatus) equipment. As one goes down into water, the pressure on the diver is increased due to water pressure with depth, usually 1 atm for each 10 m water level. In deep water, mixed gas or nitrox(EAN, enriched air nitrox) could be applied for the divers lest they should get disease due to high pressure. Of these, the former is usually composed of oxygen and inert gas like helium or hydrogen, the latter contains higher oxygen content than that in normal air in which the oxygen concentration is designated by the character "EAN" followed by vol. % of oxygen, for example, "EAN 40" contains 40% of oxygen. In this case, a victim was found at the 39 m below the sea surface breathing air and nitrox in cylinder wrongly marked as EAN 36, which was analyzed to contain 63% of oxygen by GC/TCD. The cause of death could not be exactly related with the oxygen content in the nitrox cylinder, because the accurate depth for the victim to dive was not known, even though the victim was just found at the depth of 39 m. However, the wrongly marked nitrox could be believed to be the main cause of the death at the depth unless there happened any other accident except that during diving.

나노-마이크로 정밀 분사 시스템을 이용한 하이브리드 인공지지체의 제작 및 평가 (Fabrication and Evaluation of Hybrid Scaffold by Nano-Micro Precision Deposition System)

  • 최근에, 3 차원 인공지지체와 나노섬유는 골 조직 재생을 위해 개발되고 있다. 본 연구에서는, 나노-마이크로 정밀 분사 시스템을 이용하여 하이브리드 인공지지체를 제작하였다. 하이브리드 인공지지체는 마이크로 인공지지체와 나노섬유가 결합하여 제작되었으며, 마이크로 인공지지체와 나노섬유를 얻기 위해 자유 형상 제작 기술과 전기방사 기법이 사용되었다. 마이크로 인공지지체는 정밀한 공극을 고려하여 CAD/CAM 데이터 따라 자유 형상 제작 기술에 의해 제작되었으며, 제작 공정은 $100^{\circ}C$의 온도, 평균 650 kPa의 압력, 그리고 250 mm/sec의 Z 축 이송속도가 적용되었다. 그리고 전기방사법을 통하여 나노섬유를 제작함에 있어서 본 시스템에 적용한 공정 조건은, 5 kV의 전압, 0.1 ml/min의 유량, 그리고 1 mm의 노즐 팁과 콜렉터와의 거리로 설정하였다. 제작된 하이브리드 인공지지체는 MG-63 세포를 이용하여 세포 증식 실험을 진행하였다.

Walker 256 Carcinosarcoma의 원자력병원 싸이클로트론 속중성자선 분할조사에 대한 생물학적 효과비에 관한 연구 (The RBE of Fractionated Fast Neutron on Walker 256 Carcinosarcoma with KCCH-Cyclotron)

  • 원자력병원 싸이클로트론으로 발생되는 고에너지 속중성자선의 생물학적효과에 대한 연구의 일환으로 RBE를 측정하였다. 대상은 Walker 256 carcinosacoma 및 정상조직으로 마우스 위장관 및 골수를 이용하였고 단일 및 분할조사에 대한 반응을 관찰하였다. 마우스 공장소낭선세포의 단일전신조사에 의한 RBE는 2.8이었다. 단일조사시 이식암 Walker 250의 TCD 50에 대한 RBE, 마우스 골수 및 위장관의 RBE는 각각 1.9, 1.9, 1.5이었다. 분할조사시 Walker 256의 RBE는 분할횟수의 증가에 따라 감소하였고 1회 분할조사량의 증가에 따라 증가하였다.

전기방사에 의한 셀룰로오스 아세테이트 극세 섬유 웹의 제조 (Preparation of Ultrafine Fiber Web from Cellulose Acetate by Electrospinning)

  • 전기방사에 의해 셀룰로오스 아세테이트 약 800 nm 지름 극세 섬유를 농도, 전압, 방사거리 변화에 따라 제조하였다. 아세톤 용매를 이용해 7.5 wt%~15.0 wt% 셀룰로오스 고분자용액을 만든 후 다양한 조건에서 전기방사를 실시하였다. 농도별 셀룰로오스 고분자용액은 인가전압, 토출 유속, 그리고 팁과 집적판 사이의 거리의 변화와 함께 적용되었다. 섬유 직경은 전기방사 시 고분자용액의 점도에 의존하였다. 섬유의 직경은 점도에 의존하며, 12.0 cp 이하의 고분자용액에서는 형성되지 못하였다. 셀룰로오스 고분자용액의 농도가 12.5 wt%, 인가전압 12 kV, 토출 유속 $100{\mu}L/min$ 그리고 팁과 집적판의 거리 가 7.5 cm에서 단섬유의 직경이 800 nm의 극세 섬유를 제조할 수 있다.

Transcranial Doppler를 이용한 연령에 따른 뇌혈관 반응성 평가 (Evaluation of Cerebrovascular Reactivity According to Age Using Transcranial Doppler)

  • Cerebral vasoreactivity is an index of autoregulation of cerebral perfusion, and can be measured using functional images such as Xe CT, SPECT and PET in reponse to hypercapneic stimulus. In order to measure cerebral $CO_2$ vasoreactivity in routine TCD study conveniently and reliably, we devised a method of rebreathing into closed volume of reservoir bag as a hypercapneic stimulus, and applied it to 44 healthy volunteers. As a hypercapneic stimulus, we applied fitting mask connected with closed reservoir bag for about 90 seconds, and mean blood flow velocity(MBFV) and pulsatility index(PI) were evaluated at proximal middle cerebral arteries(MCA) of 50-55 mm depth, before and after the hypercapneic stimulus. Age affected the MFV and PI value showed significant and the MFV was 56.45(SD=9.75)cm/sec, while PI was 0.406(SD=0.089). As age increases the flow velocity decreased significantly whereas PI value increased(P<0.05). The vasoreactvity significantly decreased with age(P<0.05). The decrease of cerebral blood flow quantity and cerebral blood flow velocity is not only because of increase of diameter of cerebrovascular resulting from aging, but the resistance increase of small blood vessel resulting from the increase of PI & RI value is regarded. We suppose that the rebreathing method is a reliable and convenient technique as a hypercapneic stimulus in determining cerebral $CO_2$ vasoreactivity. The rebreathing method could be non-invasive and useful methods in estimation of the cerebrovascular reactivity and could be applied to the basal and follow-up evaluation of the cerebrovascular reserve of the ischemic stroke patients.

경혈지압치료가 긴장성 두통환자의 추골동맥 혈류속도와 통증감소에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Appling Acupressure to Acupuncture Points against Headache Reduction and the Vertebral Artery Blood Flow of Tension-type Headache Patients)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is examining the effects of appling acupressure to acupuncture points (study group) and Interferential current therapy (ICT) to cervical region (control group) on the cerebral blood flow of 20 tension-type headache patients and the reduction of their headaches. For approaching this examination, clinical research was conducted for three weeks those two groups, each contains 10 patients. Methods : We stimulated 7 acupuncture points for headache with the acupressure (for three weeks) and applied ICT to cervical region. Also we measured VAS (visual analogue scale) and the blood flow of the vertebral arteries with TCD (transcranial doppler ultrasonography). Results : (1) When the left and right vertebral artery of study group was compared each time, significant differences were found after the 1st treatment (p<.001). Also the significant differences were found after 2, 3weeks treatment (p<.05). (2) When the Visual Analog Scale of study group were compared periodically, the significant reductions were found after the 1 week treatments (p<.05). Also the significant differences were found after 2, 3 weeks treatments (p<.001). In the case of the control group, the significant reduction were found after the 2 and 3 weeks treatments (p<.001). Conclusions : The acupressure applied to acupuncture points reduced the headache and increased the ratio of cerebral blood flow.

TRIZ 인과관계 모순트리와 통합원리를 이용한 물리적 모순의 창의적 해결방안의 고찰 및 적용방안 (Review and Application of Creative Problem-Solving Processes for Technical and Physical Contradictions Using Cause-And-Effect Contradiction Tree and Integrated Principles of TRIZ)

  • A creative innovation and an innovative problem-solving of industrial companies can be achieved by overcoming the challenges of technical and physical contradictions. The approaches to address conflicting and paradoxical problems, such as technical and physical contradictions have a crucial role in advancing the quality assessment for manufacturer and service provider. The term, technical contradiction, depicts the state that improvement of one ends of IFR (Ideal Final Result) leads to unfavorable condition of the other ends, and results in conflicting problem. Another type of contradictions that's discussed in this study is a physical contradiction which is due to two mutually opposing states of the means of ends, and gives paradoxical situation. By integrating the means-ends chain perspectives, the physical contradiction that is a specifically root-causes, "means", can be initially addressed to resolve the downstream problem of technical contradiction which represents a general and abstract goals, "ends". This research suggests IFR resolution processes to handle both physical contradiction of means and technical contradiction of ends by employing causal relationship with IFR, effects and causes. In summary, the study represents three major processes that resolve such contradictions are demonstrated as follows: 1) Derivation of causal and hierarchical relationship among IFR, ends and means by considering CAED (Cause-And-Effect Diagram) and LT (Logic Tree). 2) Identification of causal relationship between physical contradiction and technical contradiction by using TPCT (TRIZ Physical Contradiction Tree) and TCD (Technical Contradiction Diagram). 3) Application of integrated TRIZ principles by classifying 40 inventive principles into 4 general conditions of the separation principle of mutually opposite states in space, in time, based on conditions, and between the parts and the whole. In order to validate the proof of proposed IFR resolution processes, the analysis of the TRIZ case studies from National Quality Circle Contest in the years, 2011 to 2014 have been proposed. The suggested guidelines that are built based on TRIZ principles can uniquely enhance the process of quality innovation and assessment for quality practitioners.

오메가 3 지방산이 뇌혈류 및 혈관저항에 미치는 영향: 예비연구 (The Effect of Omega-3 Fatty Acid Supplementation on Cerebral Blood Flow and Vascular Resistance: A Preliminary Study)

  • Background: The effects of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) on cerebral vessels have not been clarified until now. Thus we investigated the efficacy of omega-3 PUFAs supplementation on cerebral blood flow velocity and vascular resistance via transcranial doppler (TCD). Methods: Consecutive twenty patients (13 male and 7 female) with at least 1 cerebrovascular risk factor or a known cerebrovascular disease were enrolled. Patients were treated with omega-3 PUFAs (1 g, two times per day) for 12 weeks. Cerebral blood flow velocity, resistance index, and pulsatile index were checked before and after 12 weeks of treatment using TCD. Results: The change of resistance index in right MCA (from $0.58{\pm}0.07$ to $0.55{\pm}0.07$, p = 0.042) and left PCA (from $0.56{\pm}0.07$ to $0.53{\pm}0.06$, p = 0.037) showed significant improvement after 12 weeks of omega-3 PUFAs treatment. The changes in other vessels, however, failed to show any significant changes compared to the baseline. Conclusions: Omega-3 PUFAs treatment showed feasible efficacies for cerebral vascular resistances in this open label trial. To confirm these results, larger samples of patients and longer period of follow-up is warranted.

전기방사 조건에 따른 PVDF 방사의 전기장 분포 해석 (Analysis of Electric Field Distribution of PVDF Electrospinning According to Electrospinning Conditions)

  • 본 연구에서는 방충망 필터링 효과를 증가시키기 위한 PVDF 나노섬유를 전기방사하는 방식을 적용하고자 전기방사 장치의 설계에 대한 예비단계의 일환으로 전기장 해석을 여러 공정에 따른 전기장의 해석을 진행하였다. 싱글 노즐을 이용한 전기방사 해석의 경우 Tip의 사이즈가 감소에 따른 전기장 세기의 감소, 전압의 증가에 따른 증가, TCD 거리에 따라서는 영향이 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 멀티 노즐의 Tip 간의 거리에 따른 전기장 해석의 경우 Tip 간의 거리가 가까울수록 전기장의 간섭이 발생하는 것으로 확인할 수 있었으며, 이는 양쪽에 Tip을 두고 있는 중앙에 위치한 Tip에서 더 큰 영향을 끼치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서, 이러한 해석적 결과를 바탕으로 실제 실험을 통 Collector의 방사면적을 확인하고 멀티노즐 간의 사이 간격을 설계함으로써 효율적인 공정 라인을 구축하여 생산속도 증가를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
