The demand for automatic manufacturing systems is incerasing. Computer Integrated Manufacturing(CIM) technology is believed to be a solution for the problem to enhance productivities and flexibilities. Although researches on CIM have been conducted treendously, application of the technology is not widely accepted yet. The CIM research on the shop floor starts with the Flexible Manufacturing System(FMS). One of the crucial obstacles to the FMS is the lack of excellent strategies for efficient operations. The aim of this research is constructing an automation scheme in the low level of factories where various machinaries are involved. An operating strategy is established for an automation unit named as a cell which resides between the upper level computers and manufacturing shop floor. The cell is defined to fit into the total manufacturing system. The defined cell has more functions than conventional cells. A scheduling scheme is adopted for the shop floor operations. A set of software has been developed and tested through simulations and shop floor experiments.

FMS is two or more computer controlled units interconnected with automated workhandling equipment and supervised by an executive computer having random scheduling capabilities. The complex nature of a FMS, coupled with the need to maximize its performance, means that such a system can be effectly designed only by iterative computer simulation methods. At the operational level, simulation had a reduced role to evaluate the performance of planned FMS under a variety of operating strategies. This is probably due to the fact that few simulation models are able to access the current status data of the system. This study reviews the role of simulation for design/operation of FMS and suggests an interface scheme for incorporating a simulation package with a FMS operational database. This scheme can be used for reducing the performance gap between design and real operation of a FMS.

Dynamic models have been developed for the coal gasification process by using a modular approach method. The complete unit is divided, for the convenience of the analysis, into several sections, viz. the coal feeding system, the gasifier, the gas cooler, the valves, the pumps, etc. The dynamic behaviour of each section is described in mathematical terms and each term is modulized into several submodels consisting of the complete process. To represent the behaviour of the fluid flow, the hydraulic network is proposed. Results for the more important system variables are presented and discussed. There dynamic models enable process and control engineers to quickly review a wide range of alternative operating and control strategies and help operators to easily understand the process dynamics and eventually can be applied to the design of commercial scale IGCC plants.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the enforcement strategy for Consumer Service marketing of an e-Commerce shopping mall. An e-CRM for a Cosmetic e-Commerce shopping mall, Data Warehousing(DW) component, analysis of data mining of the DW, and web applications and strategies had to developed for marketing of consumer service satisfaction. The major findings were as follows: An RFM analysis was used for consumer classification, which is a fundamental process of e-CRM application. The components of the DW were web sales data and consumer data fields. The visual process of consumer segmentations (superior consumer class) for e-CRM solutions is presented. The association analysis algorithm of data mining to up-selling and cross-selling indicates an association rule. These e-CRM results apply web DB marketing and operating principles to a shopping mall. Therefore, the system applications of e-CRM to Consumer services indicate a marketing strategy for consumer-oriented management.

Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation needs to a different strategy for developing synergy effects, suggesting they should be selected for role to the unification Korea. In the this paper, Three policy-strategies is suggested as follows. Secondly, To cultural contents cooperation between South-North Korea. the exchange of learning and information must be activated constantly. as the cultural contents is creative industrial, it needs for imagination and creative of human and understanding of a fine arts, a traditional arts. Thirdly, A policy and system is inevitable to construction of Inter Korean Cooperation Digital Contents. South-North Korea, including a North Korea having a excellent cultural heritage, must jointly recovery for cultural contents. Under social-economic system, a consumers of digital contents pay to the format creator many royalty. Therefore, We must prepare to roll out a series of new creative contents, and have competitive advantages in the global market.

The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is needed for one of various strategies to reduce NOx emission. But to get the proper EGR rate, the intake and exhaust system become complicated, also application of EGR system is difficult because of the penalty in fuel consumption and the increase in particulate matter. This study is focused on the development of EGR valve using the electrical method. The effects of EGR on the characteristics of NOx, CO, CO2 emissions and particulate mater have been investigated using small-displacement size 0.8-liters engine of diesel passenger car operating at several loads and speeds. After the analysis and comparison between conventional E-EGR valve and developed E-EGR valve performance by test bench, the estimation of vehicle application was executed through the EGR map and CVS-75 test result measured on the chassis dynamometer.

리눅스는 핀란드 헬싱키 대학 리누스 토발즈(Linus Torvalds)에 의해 개발되었으며 마이크로소프트사의 윈도우와 경쟁자로 부각될 만큼 많은 발전을 해왔다. 현재 리눅스 사용 현황을 보면, IBM은 리눅스 탑재를 기본으로 하고 있으며 영국 정부는 데스크탑 운영체제로 리눅스 채택을 검토하고 있다. 튀니지는 국가 운영체제로 리눅스 운영체제를 채택하려는 움직임이 있고, 워크스테이션과 서버 시장의 강자인 썬(Sun Microsystems)도 리눅스 운영체제를 이용한 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 국내의 경우, 2002년에는 정부 차원에서 '리눅스 지원센터'가 설립되고 리눅스 활성화를 위해 '공개소프트웨어진흥법'이 제정되는 등 리눅스 지원정책이 범 정부적으로 추진된다. 이러한 이유로 리눅스 운영체제는 사회적으로나 국가적인 차원으로까지 사용성이 증대되는 시점이다. 따라서 전문인력 배출의 산실인 대학에서 리눅스 교육의 활성화 방안에 대한 논의가 공론화되어야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 사회적 요구사항을 충족시키기 위해서 리눅스를 대학교육에 접목하고자 할 때 고려할 사항, 문제점 분석, 해결방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다.

Purpose This paper presents a new method of classifying online platforms. It also explains how to apply the framework using case studies and generate new insight about platform strategies and policy development. Design/methodology/approach This paper focuses on the relationship between platforms, especially the hierarchy and power relations, and broadly classifies platforms as follows: content/services, meta information, app stores, operating systems, and cloud. Both the content/service platform and the meta information platform have matching as their main function. However, most content/services tend to collect and access information through meta-information platforms, so meta-information platforms are closer to infrastructure than content/service platforms. App store, operating system, and cloud can be said to be platforms of platforms. A small number of companies in the US and China dominate platforms of platforms, and become the recent development and regulatory targets of their respective governments. Findings We should be wary of the attempts to regulate domestic platforms by importing foreign regulations that ignore the hierarchical structure that our framework highlights. We believe that Korea's strategy to become a true platform powerhouse is clear. As one of the few countries with significant companies in the area of meta information platforms, it will be necessary to fully utilize the position and advance into the strategically important area of platforms of platforms. Furthermore, it is necessary to encourage world-class companies to appear in Korea in the app store, operating system, and cloud. To do so, the government needs to introduce promotion policies to strategically nurture such platforms rather than to regulate them.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the effective ventilation strategies and control methods that can minimize energy cost maintaining acceptable IAQ level in apartment house. The effects of the air-cleaning and heat-recovery ventilation system on IAQ under various operating conditions are investigated based on the experimental and CFD analyzed results. The results can be summarized as follows. (1) When a ventilator is not operated, the concentration of several pollutants may highly show in the house even though environment-friendly building materials are applied. Therefore, a mechanical ventilation system is required to obtain proper ventilation. (2) The pollutant concentration is noticeably deceased under air-cleaning/ventilation mode of air-clinic system, however, pollutant of kitchen is stagnant, because fresh air is not carried into the kitchen. (3) When air-clinic system is only equipped at master bedroom and living room, the system does not effectively deliver fresh air throughout the whole house, and then high pollutant concentration is obtained in each room. In contrast the average pollutant concentration meets the guideline when air-clinic system is installed at each room. (4) The air-cleaning/ventilation mode significantly affects on room ventilation in comparison with ventilation mode only.

The purpose of this study was to identify the current problems of school health education policies and practices in Korea, and to establish the strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of school health education program. The severity of adolescents's health problems including obesity, smoking, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, etc has been increased recently and coping strategies to deal with these problems became urgent. The role of school as a key setting for health education should be empathized. However, there were limitations for the effectiveness of school health education in Korea because of the lack of recognition about the importance, guiding principles of the school health education by the school health related law, life skill-focused curriculum, capacity of teachers for health education, and linkage between school and community. In order to improve the effectiveness of school health education, establishment of infrastructure, national and local health education standard, and operating principles for the school health education program should be provided. Life skill-focused health education curriculum should be developed for the effective health education. Teacher training and education also should be the essential component of school health education program. For the improvement of efficiency in school health education practices, cooperation with family and community support system would be necessary.
